Drape yourself in Matteo and the world becomes a better place. My days are now just countdowns to melting back into my linen set. I can’t decide what’s better, their colors or the feel of the linens. It’s the feel. No... wait, it’s the colors. No... the feel!

Shady, unethical business practices and horrible customer service. Items sold at their warehouse are defective and final sale, however they do not make that clear when you purchase. All of the items purchased were discolored after the first wash. Response times from customer service were 5+ days and they were very unhelpful. At a certain point they just stop responding. They would also not accept returns despite the fact that they do not advertise anywhere that the purchase is final sale (sales associate didnt mention it, not posted in the store, and not included in the email advertising the sale). Its a great concept in theory but horrible and unethical execution. I tried really hard to like this brand but could not be more disappointed. DO NOT BUY.

Yesterday my husband and I went out to the showroom to exchange some linens that I purchased about 9 months ago. The colors had changed and the beautiful duvet cover was too difficult to clean and the decorative fringe was starting to tangle. I had put off going for months as I had read other reviews and was anxious about dealing with it. We were greeted with a warm welcome and without any hesitation they agreed to make an exception and would exchange everything for us with whatever I could find in the showroom. It was the best experience. They were so helpful. Thank you so much Matteo. I love your linens and will remain a loyal customer.

Garbage. We bought towels and sheets from them and the towels were thin and useless after one wash and the sheets changed different colors so the set no longer matched. We politely informed them of this and asked for refunds and they just stopped responding, claiming the return policy was stated in the receipt. The RECEIPT. Not before purchase. Absolute scam.

Do NOT purchase from this company. They have ZERO customer service skills. So if there is ANYTHING wrong with the product, you are out of luck because they have absolutely no interest in resolving your issue. They get very childish about it. There was no supervisor available for me to talk to when I called.I bought their “vintage linen” they push so much in the duvet. It was $245, which isn’t insignificant, and that was after a 30% sale. The product arrived with no ties. A linen duvet that was regularly $350 and is supposedly made to order in LA doesn’t have ties to secure it your down comforter. So your comforter just floats inside the duvet. Additionally, it’s NOT BREATHABLE AT ALL. It got so hot, it was uncomfortable to sleep with and you would have to kick it off. Useless.Within a 30-day period of receiving it, I called to speak to customer service about returning it. This lady had zero customer service skills, kept waffling on what their return policy was, and was downright immature. She told me that because I tried the product, I couldn’t return it. Meanwhile, they never sent me their return policy (not when I ordered it, not when the package arrived in the mail, and not in any email). The lady said it was “on their website.” At the end of the call, she cattily joked that she couldn’t wait to talk to me soon when I said I’d reach out to a supervisor. They obviously don’t care about customer satisfaction at this company.This isn’t a $25 sheet set at Target, this is a $350 made to order duvet. You need to have a customer service department and return program commensurate with the products you’re attempting to sell. There are too many choices for products of this kind. You need to understand your market. This company should go out of business because they have no idea what they are doing.In the end, it’s a terrible product at a ridiculous price and virtually no choices to resolve any issues. And you will have issues. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. More importantly, don’t make yourself go through the hassle of getting upset.

Beautiful showroom with modern style of 100% cotton clothes linens and the like. The beautiful model-like associates we were greeted with and then freely invited us to see their behind the scenes full blown factory where its all manufactured were thee nicest anywhere besides fully knowledgable in all aspects of the Garment Industry. Very worthwhile place to go period.

I spent several thousand dollars changing out my bedding and some towels with Matteo. The bedding was acceptable, the towels were horrendous, I contacted them within a week to return the towels and was told no. If you use their product at all, it is non returnable! You must buy their product based on their description and cannot test function or it is yours.They describe the towel as ultra absorbent, the worst towel I have ever attempted to dry myself with to date. Parachute, Riley, Brooklinen,Coyuchi and Matouk all offer returns after you check function of their products. I will be spending my money elsewhere after my customer service experience with Matteo.

Poor quality—after a few years the linen sheets literally disintegrate. You’re paying for the name and branding. Their warranty conveniently expires about when they fall apart. See other corroborating reviews. Stay away.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Please dont waste your money at this store. I dont write reviews, but people should know that Matteo LA is a joke. The product falls apart before you even use it, its not soft, the color fades and the stitching is horrible and dont even get me started on the website (that should have been my first clue). Worst retail experience I have ever had, it was a compete waste of $500.

Poor quality on expensive linen sheets. I bought two sets. Both sets tore at 3.5 years. Customer service was not helpful at all. I willBe buying my linens from elsewhere.

The quality on these sheets are terrible. The zippers in all of the pillow cases broke after one wash. These sheets are too expensive for that to be happening. Delivery time was a mess as well. It took six months for my throw to be delivered. Also, when I tried to return the broken pillow cases to the store that I purchased them from, the store said they no longer carried the line because so many people were bringing back the sheets due to broken zippers, shredding sheets and lack of quality control.
