Best hair supply shop to get braiding hair around! Lucy was so helpful with helping me pick the right color and texture of braiding hair for my natural hair texture. This shop has so many options of braiding hair also! She carries brands like Rastra Fri, Bobby Boss, and Free Tress! Would highly recommend!

Was looking for hair extensions for a ponytail which they didnt have at sally. I saw them on google maps and stopped by. I asked for some advice because my store grand opening was the next day and again, I wanted a ponytail. My kid loved one of the crowns and the woman was so kind let her try it on. We got her some rainbow hair and I just made it into puffs. My ponytail came out perfect using hair with the perfect color match. Love the shop I want to get some long braids done there next time.

Only Store I Found The Exact Crochets I Was Looking For, and She Even Told Me The # Of Bags I Asked For Were More Than I Needed Which Saved Me A Good $30. And Yall Know, Hair Stores Dont Try To Save You Money Lol

Braid queen is the rare hair supply shop that truly has all the colors of hair and all the styling products I need. They’ve got cool brands I haven’t seen at other shops like Bobbi Boss and Freetresse; and they have so many RastAfri, like the color changing mood hair. I’ve been coming to Lucy for 3 years to restock my bathroom and find out what’s new. If you’re in midcity this is the most reliable shop!

I visited this shop about a year ago. I approached the stylist about braiding my little girls hair it was a saturday around noon. I was asking pricing for 2 box braids for my little girl. I was turned away and wasn’t even given a price estimate. Not bring my business here again. When you walk in it is not an inviting environment.

The stylists does great protective styles that grow your hair. They are very professional and courteous which makes you feel at home.It’s a major plus that the owner sells a variety of hair in her shop. No more going to a separate beauty supply store to get (sometimes) the wrong hair. If she doesn’t have it and she will get it for you.You can always suggest a style and they will be honest with you on if it will work or not for your hair.The location & parking are great.I’ve been going to the salon for over 6 years now.Respect & consistency are key especially in the hair world.

Lucy is so professional, caring, attentive to your hair care needs and provides a great experience at her place! I absolutely love the atmosphere it is clean, beautiful, and very professional. I also bought my bundles from Lucy she has very nice extensions of all textures and colors so I’m sure you will be able to find bundles customized to your hair type from Lucy. Also, she has hair care products and hair accessories right in the salon. Truly an all in one stop for an easy hair styling experience. I love her and will for sure be returning, the salon is a welcoming atmosphere.

Lucy is AMAZING!! I only trust her doing my braids and have continually gone back to her for all my braid styles as well as for the hair growth serum/ conditioner she sells! She doesn’t overcharge either but is worth every penny! I promise you’re in good hands here! 🙌🏼💯

I love this place. Lucy did my hair extremely fast and it looks amazing. I had a bad weave in before and she helped me take it down and install WAY BETTER HAIR! I loved it automatically. the install she did is better than most weave salons in LA county. I live in West Hollywood and havent found a hair stylists with her talent. She has a passion for hair. I was looking for a braider there who could make my cornrows as flat as possible. She nailed it, and my Lace wig looked flat as I wanted.

I HATE THIS PLACE, I went in for braids, Lucy braided my hair way too tight, I kept telling her it was hurting all fell in deaf ears, a month after I took it down my hair was almost all gone, it fell off literally When I touch it, the middle of my head is bald now, stay away, shes very rude . Go to braids by fama instead
