Junk alignments and lazy mechanics. Been there for 3 separate things and every time there was a reason they couldn’t do it or they just flat out didn’t even attempt to fix the problem. I’m a mechanic myself and I know a lazy shop when I see one.

I go here for everything! The whole staff is amazing! Super honest and trustworthy, I don’t hesitate to take anything to them and I know they will get me fixed up right!

I have a NEW tire and service shop now!!! They have the most pleasant staff of employees that Ive seen in a very long time! Very efficient too. I had a low tire and had been told by the tire store I used for 30 years that it was cut at the bead, that they couldnt fix it unless I purchased stud covers and studs for all 4 tires. Gateway broke down my tire, washed it around the rim and told me to have a good day. I love em!!!

I’ve used Gateway for years and spent thousands on tires and service work. The crew was great, the management was great and I truly enjoyed my experiences with the company. I felt like a person and not a number. Today, I was charged for a nail in my tire which has NEVER happened. Furthermore, I was the ONLY customer there.The new management strategy is terrible. I own a business and take care of my customers even when it doesn’t make me money because I know they come back to me for the items that do make me money.The previous management cared about people. PEOPLE BUY PEOPLE, NOT PRODUCTS. After years of business, I am officially done with GATEWAY.

I’ve gotten my car fixed from coast to coast in this great country, and Longview’s Gateway Tire & Service is hands down absolutely the best auto service experience of my life. I needed a last minute walk-in for an oil change, new tires, and filters. Money is tight these days, and the front desk attendant went out of her way to help me shop for cheaper options. I ended up splurging on nice tires anyway. The mechanics also went above and beyond in checking my car for additional issues, even changing out both my key fob batteries for me. And best of all, you just can’t beat their bottom line value. I was pleasantly surprised at how relatively inexpensive everything turned out (NY and CA rip you off). I also felt no need to protect myself from slick hustlers. When you come here, you never have to worry about them nickel-and-diming you to death. This is how an American business should be run! In one word: INTEGRITY!

The very best customer service Ive received in AGES. I could not be more impressed!I picked up a teeny tiny nail in one of my brand new tires, right on the edge of the tread; the Ford house told me it was irreparable and would cost $250 to replace.Im SO glad I sought a second opinion, because the guys and gals at Gateway patched the teeny tiny hole, free of charge, in less than half an hour.I will absolutely be back to Gateway, and will recommend them to everyone I know.

When we had a blow out on 1-20 we were in a little bit of a pinch. These guys were the only shop that answered the phone so I was a little concerned. But they found us a set of 4 that would fit in our limited budget and get us back to NC safely. They also had us back on the road in 30 minutes. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

The bad:- They said that if the repair was going to cost a lot, they would call -they didnt.- $664 labor for tune-up and resurface front rotors.- $10.98 each for spark plugs- Repairs cost $1069.39The good- it does run goodNever - Never - go back again!!!

This place is great they take care of my entire fleet of farm vehicles. They do a amazing and fast job.

Made an appointment with them on Friday to get an alignment and tires put on my truck. Came in Monday to get them done and they charged me way to much for $135 tires plus was “too busy” to do the alignment knowing that I was coming in!! Will not be going back there and will not be referring them to anyone!!

No warranty on tires. Had to ask and then they said “well you can pay for road hazard but not warranty”. Which they didn’t mention when I was buying. If I hadn’t asked, as soon as I drove out of the parking lot and something happened, I would have been out a ton of money. I had an emergency and had to leave them. They “hurried” and broke parts off almost every wheel, and didn’t put the weights back on so 200’ out the driveway my truck was shaking so bad I had to pull over and call for help. Took 30 mins for them to show up when I’m literally 200’ away. Blamed it on me pulling off the road that they couldnt “find me”. Now sitting back in waiting room while they balance my tires so I can make it enough to go home to my emergency that happened, now, over 3 hours ago. I’m a nurse and have to be there. When I looked out the window at them “hurrying to help me get home to my emergency”, one was smoking standing there, one hanging his hand from the rafter thing, and one walking around. Not in a hurry at all. Took my boyfriend walking out there and yelling at them for them to hurry up and get it done. People at the counter were very unhelpful and tried staying in the back so they wouldn’t have to talk with me. Afterwards had to send my truck to Tidewell tires for them to fix all the problems Gateway did. And they did it for a better price, in 35 mins, and were very polite and helpful.DO NOT RECOMMEND!SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!Edited* after I posted this review, I had several representatives try to contact me. The time to make this right was when I was at yalls store. Not hours after the fact when you already screwed me over.
