I ordered a year contacts and were suppose to come in 4 days ago. I went to get just a trial one so I can see until the order comes in. They told me were sorry we cant give you trial ones even though you should have the ones you purchased and havent gotten them. What am I suppose to do!? Just stay blind? Thank goodness I bought glasses 3 years ago!
I came today to pick up contacts and was greeted by Tori. She was extremely professional and so welcoming. She even saw it was my birthday and wished me a Happy Birthday. She is a true asset to the store and I am so happy I encountered her today. Thank you for employing wonderful people like her. She even asked if I had any questions and was willing to answer them. Very impressed with the service. All of the employees were courteous and helpful. The people up front navigated my VSP insurance to confirm that the digital retinal scan was fully covered (which I didnt know myself), and the doctor took the time to clearly explain my test results in detail. I highly recommend the digital retinal scan even if your insurance doesnt cover it, as it provides far more diagnostic utility than the basic dilated exam.
Giving them a 1 instead of a 5 star. I was going to do a 5 star review. First the service and staff was amazing love the place amazing price with my insurance. I however did not like the fact that I received my glasses payed for transition, next day suns out super excited to play football my glasses dont transition. I was bummed out!!! I call and they tell me i need to pay 75$ a pair ( total of 150$) after I had already paid for it.Then the lady tells me it was miss communication yet I was charged for it. Then they offer to wave the fee ( yet I have the receipt )It has now been 2× the wait for my new pair still havent got a call about them. At this point Im super irritated!!!!!
Amazingly good experience with vision works who I already used for my annual eye exam. I injured my eye and needed to see someone right away and they were very helpful got me in right away and I had a prescription in hand and pain relief within a few hours. All the regular optometry offices were closed so they were a lifesaver for me this weekend. Thank you!
This was my first visit with visionworks and the doctor took an extreme amount of time to explain everything to me so I could understand it I really appreciate it all the time that he took everyone there was pleasant to deal with very professional and efficient and following all covid-19 protocols
I really enjoy this place but my last visit was not as good due to a unpleasant worker. I didn’t get her name because she never introduced herself just quickly ask for my child to begin his eye exam. Maybe she was having a bad day but even my son said she was snappy at him when he moved his chair by accident. It was obvious she did not want to be at work that day and took it out on us and maybe even more customers. She attempted to bribe my child with candy and asked me why I was getting his eyes checked like it was a issue. She also told me some of the test we took were pointless and they just do it because... In my opinion as a business owner I would never have a employee with that kind of attitude especially when it comes to customers health and well being they want to know they are being treated with care. With that being said everyone else working there was very kind and I love the doctor he is smart and efficient. This was at the Longmont Co location the woman in question has long dirty blonde hair pulled up in a pony and her age was mid 40’s. Good luck

My visit with Vision Works was hands down the best experience I have ever had with an eye doctor. Not only was the process with doctor Daw very quick, their attention to social distancing and practices were exceptional. I would HIGHLY recommend coming Here for all your vision needs!

I got a voice message from Amy at visionworks that they had sent an email for registration. She indicated that this form would have to be filled out before our visit due to covid. I never got the email so I tried calling in. I was on hold for 5 minutes before anyone answered. The person (sounded like Amy) who finally answered asked me to hold again. Ok I get it so I wait. 15 more minutes pass and no one ever gets back to me. I was just trying to return your call. I’m just trying to follow the rules you have in place. It’s hard to believe that the Visionworks store is so busy that they can’t answer a customer’s call within 20 minutes. I guess if this is how we are starting off I’ll just take my business elsewhere.
I came here because they take my insurance. I usually go to LensCrafters. They have now messed up my very simple prescription twice. I am beyond livid. The ones they gave me are so off, they make me violently ill. The first pair had to be redone because they just didn’t make them right. Now I have to go in AGAIN and see if they can pretend to fix them. If they didn’t take my insurance I would be long gone and I will probably still be done with this place. Avoid at all costs.
I’ve been with the same eye doc in Louisville since middle school. Always really liked them. But went to vision works with my wife and daughter. That place blew my out place out of the water. So many eye glass selections. Their staff were amazing and friendly especially during all this covid craziness. And the actual appt I think took maybe 15 mins. Love that their equipment is more high tech as it makes it easier for the staff but a more comfortable quick appt for patients. Definitely don’t plan on switching any time soon! The Longmont location off Hover is where we went!
Always friendly and courteous staff with a true eye for the best looks even when you dont think they will be good. Lots of options for classes and contacts as well as a great Dr on staff. This team is remarkable and we look forward to many many more years of great care from them. Could not ask for a more friendly and compassionate staff.

I was just in there today and it was a bit bonkers because they had a co worker for home sick and were short handed but they were so polite and apologetic and did everything they could to speed things up - Amber is awesome she helped me out a ton. I have going to this location for several years. They have always been very helpful and look to get me the best deal possible on new glasses. I find that during the COVID-19 social distancing requirements, they have really stepped up to help everyone out within the new standards.
The thought of having to get an eye exam and glasses was very intimidating. As a working mom I have to take my littles with me everywhere I go! The OP tech, the MD and the support staff were all great! They played with. Y 3.5 year old son, gave him snacks, helped him wash his hand. They were amazing. Also the process of getting glasses is streamlined here. The MD teaches you about your new diagnosis and spends time doing so! I’m also a nurse so I was refreshed with their service line and how well they delivered! I’ll never go anywhere else!
Went in with my mom about two weeks ago, and while they were short staffed they got to us in a timely manner and were able to get my mom into two pairs of prescription sunglasses. It was also nice to hear that they take health first, which made it possible for me to have an eye exam and get the glasses I needed. Very friendly staff all around!

This is my 3rd check up with these guys and they are awesome! I know a lot of people tend to stigmatize chained optometry but Vision Works for me has been the most professional and consistent experience to say the least! The awesome manager, Susan was able to squeeze me in on a busy Saturday for a walk in. Everyone I encountered was very friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve worn glasses for 10 years but I had things explained to me that no one ever took the time to do. I will definitely be back to this location!
Was very pleased with my contact exam. Dr Daw was very informative, explained to me about the scans of my eyes and showed me as he explained. I have never had a eye doctor do that before. I will definitely see them again next year.
Saw the new doctor here and he was excellent, came up with a great alternative to bifocals after listening to my concerns. Really took time to listen and figure out the best prescription for me. Highly recommend, can’t wait for my new glasses to come in!

Our experience could not have been more delightful. The staff was available to help choose frames and offer wanted feedback. ... and they were extremely patient as I don’t make quick decisions. Paul (I think) was efficient in scheduling us with the doctor, and facilitating the prelim exam. The service oriented team, Mary, Amber and Paul worked well together and seem to enjoy their jobs. Mary, in particular gave us her full attention and served us willingly. Amber made us aware of Current promotional offers, making it possible for me to purchase four pair of glasses, and my husband purchased one. Mary was extremely patient in explaining options and processing our very complicated orders. In fact not only did she provide exemplary service, but she also was kind and by the time we left, we felt we had made a new friend. They requested my records from a Visionworks store in NJ to keep my records current - and then reviewed my insurance benefits with me to compare the pricing between the promotions and my insurance benefits.I walked out with frames I like at a competitive price - and great customer service! Vision works was recently acquired by VSP, which is my insurance carrier for my vision program. They have modern equipment, knowledgeable doctors, and a large selection of frames to choose from.
Editing my experience. The doctor was awesome and till they gave me the very incorrect contact prescription the person at the front desk told me that I had to keep my contacts for two weeks. The contacts were not working my vision was super blurry and my night vision was even worse! Then the pandemic hit. Finally I came in to see them again they told me I had an appointment and then I was greeted by one of the customer service people “ What’s going on“. I have an appointment that’s what’s going on. Then they told me that they have some other trials when they told me to bring the original boxes of the contacts that I was wearing prior to the appointment in. This place is super disorganized, very unprofessional, and they just want your money. Definitely will not go back in fact I plan to go back down to Denver just so that I can actually get service Where I know that I will actually get the correct prescription.

Due to the COVID-19 I visited by myself. I would have loved to have had more assistance in choosing a frame. Otherwise everything was fantastic!
Unfortunately, I experienced rude customer service twice at this location, from the same salesperson. The salesperson was somewhat abrupt, and was bothered by valid questions about insurance coverage and prices. I thought I’d give the employee the benefit of the doubt but when I went back up to pick up the order, the same salesperson was impatient, dismissive and somewhat sarcastic when I asked a valid question about the order. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience.
Very rude staff! rushed service! insisted to speak to the Doctor due to my daughters glasses (prescription) and they tried to tell me my appointment was not scheduled for that, when I made it very clear I needed to have the doctor check my daughters glasses for that specific appointment, they didnt have the colored contacts like they informed us originally they would have. The 1st visit i went to about 1.5 yrs ago was great but this time around very different (horrible!!!!) Customer service.

Wouldnt answer the phone for my questions on my appt. Didnt find out until I got to my appt that they do not do same day cuts. Very disappointing. Terrible customer service.
I would highly recommend this location and especially Amber. I had a new pair of glasses made at another store and despite having them remade 2 times, I still could not read. I decided to go to the Longmont location as Amber had adjusted my glasses before and she seemed very knowledgeable. I am so happy I did as she listened to me and was able to figure out quickly what was wrong. I will only use this location and Ask for Amber in the future!!

When I walked in I was not greeted. At first I didnt think anyone was there. Then I saw a woman laying across the chairs. As I had a 2:30 appointment and it was 2:00 I figured I would have to wait some time. I saw the eye exam waiting room and went to sit there not knowing the procedure, and no one talked to me. About 30 mins later with it being my appointment time and no one talking to me yet I went to the lobby and stated I dont know if Im supposed to check in or something? The lady working there responded with oh I thought you had been helped. I informed her I had a 2:30 appointment. She pulled up the calendar In full view of me (a HIPPA violation if Im not mistaken as it had patient information on it) I saw that there where no appointments before mine at 2:30. I filled out my paperwork and sat back down. At that point the doctor came in. At no time was it communicated with me that the doctor was not there yet, as Im confused why he was not as he had appointments. At this time the doctor took back one of the walk in patients that was there before me. Curious I asked the employees how much longer they thought I would have to wait as it was now 2:50 and I had to get back to work. They informed me that there was 3 people before me still, I assume all of these people where walk ins as I saw the calendar and there was no one before me. I was told go get some food or a drink and come back. I left and did not return. People make appointments, especially on weekdays, because they are making time for that appointment at that time they do not have hours to sit there and wait with no communication at all. Also why is the office open if there is no doctor there?? Doctors offices are no open and no doctor is there because that is why the patients are there so why is an eye doctors office open with no doctor that makes no since. Also why are the patients who are waiting not informed of the possible wait time and that there is no doctor there?
Everyone was nice. Doctor took his time answered all my questions.

I went in today with my family looking forward to buy my mother a new pair of sunglasses. I was looking at some ray bans while I put mine away. I kept looking to finally decide I didn’t want to purchase any and went along with my mother. Keep in mind I never left the store, didn’t go near a bathroom or hid in any closed location. Then two security guards came into the store and started looking right at me. Knowing this was happening and knowing I didn’t take anything, I told my mom to leave because clearly we weren’t welcomed there. Upon leaving one of their employees kept staring at us and never looked away. Just kept staring at me and never actually asking me if I have taken anything. I told them what have happened to make sure there was no miss understanding. The worst part was when we were leaving the same employee( Tall man around the older age.) followed us outside all the way to the car. At this point there was no need for that. Is this how you want to be helped? By having their employees accusing you of stealing and Worst part never speaking to you directly about it. I don’t know if it was an act of racism or a miss understanding, but I do know that no one should be treated that way.
Hasty, rude and clearly didnt have the skills on the floor to take care of customers. Was asked if I was dependent on my insurance as if a woman is always dependent. Answered calls on my consult and ultimately said there was no option to fix or replace under insurance.Remember kiddos... Customer service is still a thing and assumptions get you in trouble.Guess you dont need the business after all.
My daughter and I went in for an exam and glasses. What I was most impressed with initially was the large inventory of frames there were to choose from. Dr. Daw did our exams and he was very thorough and informative, he even took the time to explain everything to my teenage daughter. After the exam the staff was amazing and helped us pick out great frames that stayed within my budget. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a low stress experience getting a great pair of glasses at a fair price!
I had a contact stuck in my eye. I had gone to America’s Best and was treated awful by the Doctor. She poked and prodded and sent me away without getting the contact out!!I called Visionworks last minute on a Saturday afternoon speaking with Maya. She let me know that they were booked for the rest of the afternoon. After telling her my story she put me on a brief hold and told me to come right in!!!! At the office Mary was incredibly nice, caring (which you don’t see often) and professional. Dr. Daw was FANTASTIC! He was able to get the contact out of my eye which was really in there !!!! He was also aware enough to notice the damage caused and was quick to make sure I had the proper meds before leaving. What a wonderful staff at the Longmont Visionworks location! Keep up the fabulous work 👍👍

There were so many opportunities Visionworks had to improve my impression of them, but in the end it was a horrible and anxiety-provoking experience that I can only hope other people can avoid. I could expand a lot on these topics, but the problems included: misleading information about how best to spend insurance benefits, poor crafting of glasses, a sample contact that was the wrong power, poor record-keeping of visits leading to an Rx for the wrong brand of contacts, and inability to admit a mistake on the doctors part. Any one thing is forgivable. All of them together make for a major headache. Positives: they will honor the return policy on glasses if you ask clearly and the manager seems open to fixing some of the record-keeping flaws. But its your vision. Find somewhere that will treat *literally how you see the world* with the level of care that it deserves.
Ive been going to the optometrist for 20+ years. In that time this is the only place Ive walked out of without completing my appointment. I had scheduled an 11 AM Friday appointment the prior Monday. I walked in at 10:50 and completed my pre-appointment paperwork. At 11:10 the tech took me back for my pre-screening. While completing the pre-screening the doctor, only 1 on staff the day I went, asked the tech if the patient at the top of the stack was the right one. He stated she was a walk in and they had two appointments, me being one of them, waiting in lobby. The tech told the doctor he was told by the ladies up front to squeeze this walk in patient in as a favor. Not only were they already one appointment behind at the time of my pre-screening, but they squeezed in a walk in AHEAD of both appointments that were already late. I waited until 12:10, an hour and 10 minutes after my appointment, and decided I was leaving. As I was walking out the doctor called my name. Im sure he was a good doctor and he tried to do the right thing. If I was him Id clean house and get some people who understand how to schedule appointments on board. There are plenty of other optometrist in the area. Do yourself a favor and go see one of them. Ive never had my time disrespected this badly by a business and will never step foot in their offices again.
I have a challenging prescription, but not at all impossible...I specifically asked if they could handle my prescription and was told that it would not be a problem. The first attempt was so bad, that the glasses actually made my head spin. The second attempt, the new lenses actually had what appeared to be wrinkles on the lenses. I was shocked that they actually tried to pass off the second pair of glasses to me. Quality control? I opted to not give them a 3rd chance, as I lost all confidence in their abilities. My eyes are very important and I dont feel like they approached my situation with the same reverence. I did receive a full refund with no issues but will never return to this establishment. I urge all who go there to look over your lenses very carefully and do not accept inferior craftsmanship.

I bought two pair of very expensive glasses here a year ago. One of them now has bubbles in the coating used. I went back in and they basically blamed me and said I must be using chemicals which caused this. I have looked this up on various sites and this may be caused by poor prep when coating applied. They were very dismissive and had poor customer service.
Dr. Daw, A.J., and Brianna were all great, from the eye exam to the glasses I selected and they fit great! Highly recommend this location.

Very unhappy!! With all the money i spent out of pocket, i expected better service and a quality product. I received insulting service with no communication on their behalf. Over priced frames for lens that have gap between them. I have waited to purchase my eye wear thru thus company since i learned of tthem years ago. I regret purchasing anything thru this store
