While the optometrist and various front desk employees are lovely the rest of the staff is quite rude. The always seem to miss the mark in the finance department and it’s just not worth the time.
Ive been going to Eagle Vision for over a decade and they have always taken such great care of me. I moved out of Longmont a few years ago and still make the drive to Eagle because the office staff is always super helpful and the doctors make the exams a breeze. They also have the Optomap so, for a little extra money, you can avoid having your eyes dilated and you get to see the inside of your eyeball!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I moved to Longmont a couple years ago and was searching for an eye doctor. I found Eagle vision and they have exceeded my expectations. I had VSP for insurance and Lost it with my employer. Then I went on Medicaid and they excepted it and treated me with the same respect and dignity as always. Recently I had a severe issue over the Christmas weekend and the doctor came in and ran some test and got me into see a specialist early the next day.If you were looking for a new eye doctor or a new to the area I highly recommend Eagle vision. Everyone in their office is friendly and they are always prompt with their appointments.
First time using this vision clinic and was quite pleased with their practice. Professional, friendly, and welcoming. Dr. Justin Deal was professional, and approachable. He explained some information about lens compositions that I was not aware of so I am an informed customer when looking at purchasing glasses. My vision benefits were explained to me in more detail so I could make an informed decision when making my choice. No pressure to purchase glasses from them at the time of my appointment. Would refer to them, and hoping to have a long relationship with this office for all my eye care needs.
Rude, condescending, dishonest and unprofessional. The office made mistakes but instead of owning it they blame the parent. You must be confused, Let me tell you how insurance works, I understand how you feel as a special needs mom. We booked an appt. 2 months ago with Dr. Gabriel and with less than 40 hours left, we get a call from billing today that my insurances, yes insurances, will not cover for my daughters appt. Well then why allow me to make the appt and why call me so late. Well, then she goes on to inform me, when she gets caught, that she did inform me. I said you never did and we have waited this long. I then get instructed on how insurance works (we go to a lot of doctors appointments) and the condescending begins. I told them you made an error, dont blame me. As a mom of a special needs child, I understand how insurance works, I am clear and not confused on what happened and unless you have a disabled child, you dont understand me. Why would you call me if you had me as self pay...there would be no need to call me today to cancel or or change providers. I did speak to billing and office manager.
My 16 year old daughter was seen for her strabismus by Dr. Gabriel. We traveled over from Western Colorado (GJ), & I am so glad that we did! We are so impressed with all of the staff. Doctor Gabriel is extremely knowledgeable & a very effective communicator. Thank you to all of the support staff & Dr Gabriel, you made the 4 1/2 hour trip worth EVERY mile!-The Orton Family
They went out of their way to help me. Highly recommended.
These “professionals” are the best!I have never been to any doctors office in my life, where I was treated like this. Dr. Forrest is the most knowledgeable, kind and caring man, he actually, I believe, saved my sight!Thank you so much Dr. Forrest, Brandy, and everyone there, (don’t remember all your names, sorry!) you all are “angels” to me, 💕!
Excellent eye clinic, amazing staff!!Susan fixed my very broken sunglasses without breaking them!
We have been going there for years and love them. We have had Dr. Blackwell for many years but he just retired. So many glasses to pick from and they take met-life vision insurance with lots of discounts. building is old but very friendly and the they have an optima map machine do need to dilate with drops. Which is wonderful!
Came in for glasses only, not an exam. But the ladies were so helpful and friendly. Place was swamped, and they had me taken care of in less than 30 minutes. Not to mention the great location!
My family and I have been going here for 5 years. I think the optometrists are phenomenal. With that said the billing staff is not. Twice I have had them demand money from me many times over only to come back to me and say they actually owe me money. The first time I tried to explain to them the explanation of benefits because I knew my coverage only to have one of the woman be extremely rude, I paid because I questioned myself on if I was correct or not. Then they called and said they owed me money, with no apology from the woman who was rude. This time, I went and asked to check my benefits so I would be clear on what I would I owe. Again they said I owed money, but I did not pay because I knew I did not owe. Again they called because they owed me money again.I’m disappointed because I really like the optometrists but I’m not going to go through the “fight” of finances each time with them.
Amazing doctors and staff! My 14 year old son (who has some mild developmental delays) was evaluated by Dr. Gina for tracking focus issues. She took the time to give him a detailed eye exam and was so sweet and patient with him. For the first time ever he is in a prescription that really has him seeing well (the discount eye places we took him to previously with the free exams never took the time with him and just hurried through the exams). Dr. Gina recommended vision therapy (which they do in a clinic at the same office) and thought it would take about 40 sessions, he did so well they released him early at 20 sessions and I would have kept going so I found that incredibly honest. He has improved greatly with his tracking and focus, they definitely had his best interests at heart. Fast forward to last weekend, my husband who does not wear corrective lenses so had not previously been seen here, was working with metal at his repair shop and got a piece of metal in his eye. I called on Saturday morning to see if they could help him as he was up all night in pain, Dr. Forrest agreed to squeeze him in and was able to get the metal out quickly and painlessly. Both Dr. Gina and Dr. Forrest are caring, honest and great at what they do. I highly recommend Eagle Vision! We will NEVER go back to the discount vision centers, you have earned customers for life!
I worked with Kory after a previous eye clinic gave me the wrong prescription for my glasses. She got me all set up with a new prescription and called several times to see how I was doing with my new glasses. I was very impressed by the feeling I always got from her as far as being sincere and not just calling because she had to. You can tell the difference. I hope you ask for her. You will get the attention you deserve since your vision is literally your world everyday.
I really enjoy coming to Eagle Vision. I hate getting my eyes checked, but Dr. Gabriel and team make sure it is as pleasant as possible. They also saved my arse once when I had to go to China and needed a pair of glasses asap (my others were crunched in a camp trip) and they rushed me in and got glasses really quick. Three years later the glasses are still in great shape. Thank you!
We had a fantastic experience doing vision therapy at Eagle Vision and Eye Clinic. Both Dr. Gabriel and Carol were attentive, responsive to my questions and skilled at their jobs. My sons reading improved dramatically during the program, exceeding our expectations. We just finished therapy and are thrilled with the overall experience and results. And I should mention that my son was actually a little sad to be done with the therapy. Thats how much he enjoyed Ms Carol!
I took my 3 year old son to Eagle Vision and was highly impressed. They adapted to his personality, and the doctor was very patient and kind. She explained to my son everything she was going to do in a way he could understand and then she explained to me the reasons why. It made the whole process very easy. My son wasnt nervous or scared because he knew exactly what was going on. I highly recommend the staff here!
If I could rate this place with less stars, I would. Kim, optometrist assistant, is rude and inconsiderate. People who wear contacts understand that you need to change your contacts out regularly. Not only did she refuse to give me the sample my doctor ordered for me, she also refused to give me a copy of my prescription and lied saying there wasnt an optometrist to see me that day there when there was a doctor standing right behind her. Wont be returning.
Dr. Gabriel most wonderful eye doctor out there!! Unfortunately, after years of going, I just stopped going, tired of rude front desk receptionist. The previous review Nicole is spot on, couldn’t have said it better!
I was able to get what I needed and they reached out to me after to make sure everything was perfect.
I had glasses from across town that never really worked for me. The prescription wasnt quite right, the bifocals only let me see near and far, leaving out the middle distance so that I had to take my glasses on and off depending on what I was looking at. I came to Eagle vision to get my eyes re-checked and have to say I am thrilled with my new prescription. Im now in progressive lenses. I think this is the best pair of glasses Ive had in over 5 years. I felt the doctors were great and the opticians stellar. They greatly exceeded my expectations. My husband is equally happy with his new glasses and prescription as well. Thank you!
Had great experiences here and the staff are friendly and obviously they have a lot of fun working here which is great!
Dr. Gina Gabriel is an excellent optometrist who is very thorough in her eye exams. I have been a patient at this clinic for 2 years and am very pleased with their customer service. The women who have helped me select frames are very knowledgeable and helpful. Their frame selection is above average.
I had a contact lens and glasses examination with Dr. Zach Lemaster last month. Not only was he extremely thorough, he was very kind and knowledgeable about my concerns. I had previously gone to a Lenscrafters optometrist who gave me the incorrect prescription and Dr. Lemaster was immediately able to correct the prescription. He went completely above and beyond to help me with my concerns and made sure everything was done accurately and efficiently. I highly recommend him if youre looking for an optometrist. He is definitely the best optometrist that I have ever seen!
Dr. Potter is so unbelievably great. She has gone to such great lengths to make sure I got the care I needed for issues I have begun having with my eyes. The entire staff is fantastic and I wouldnt go anywhere else.
I have been coming here for years and have always been treated like family by the entire staff. This year, Monica in eye wear, picked out and fitted me for the most beautiful pair of glasses I have ever owned. People always comment how attractive they are. Thanks Monica, I love the compliments!
My whole family sees Dr. Gabriel. She is fantastic! She is very thorough and quite personable, and it is obvious that she cares. Highly recommend!
We are extremely pleased with Eagle Vision! We use Dr. Potter and she is excellent with our entire family. She helped our high-schooler get into contact lenses - a wonderful change - and shes also helping me get into contacts. They work well with our insurance and have good hours.
Eagle Vision went above and beyond when I purchased my new glasses. I worked with Monica and she really took the time to explain the different lens options. I love my new glasses. I highly recommend Eagle Vision!!!
Had a great experience at Eagle Vision and Eye Clinic. Just went in for my first ever eye exam and had a very pleasant experience with the doctors and staff on duty. Each step of the process from the check-in, to the examination, to the shopping for frames was delightful. I felt very comfortable talking with Dr. Wray and she explain each step of everything very clearly and kindly.
I recently moved to Longmont and I am fairly picky about choosing healthcare providers. They were able to get me in as a new patient quickly. The staff was nice, the process was easy and I did not have a giant pile of paperwork to do. The selection of glasses was good too.
I have been a patient for over 20 years, the staff have always been informative, professional & just part of the family. Monica in the optical side is second to none. Best business in town.
Thankfully they have an amazing optician, Kori and one friendly receptionist, Terry, or I wouldn’t be coming back!! I was in yesterday with my daughter to be fit for glasses. First off, the front desk is the first and the last person you see when visiting a practice! Unfortunately, the ladies here do not take pride in that! First, Donna, the receptionist was very rude! Not everyone understands how insurance works, with the snotty comments I felt belittled as a customer walking into a very unprofessional environment! The ONLY nice receptionist, Terry, was on the phone with VSP trying to assist with my issues. Donna and Jenny decided to walk around the corner and bad mouth me! THEN, I ran into some issues with the VSP I had, NEVER ever taken out of the envelope I received it in, Jenny proceeded to tell me the benefits were pulled in another office. I let her know that was not even a possibility seems how I never had opened the envelope with the paperwork. She rolled her eyes and stuck her nose in the air without even listening to what I had to say!! The second I walked away she literally started talking trash about me to another staff member, for the SECOND time!! Thankfully the optician was very sweet and patient with us!! Terry, at the front desk, was a very nice as we checked out! I am confident that the Dr.’s in the back are not going to be the same way as I had asked Kori if they work well with kids and her response was comforting that they are amazing! (to make that clear, I never discussed the unprofessionalism, from the front desk, with another staff member. I was trying to “figure out” if this office would be a good fit for us as I have heard from others the Dr’s here are AMAZING)
We are new in the area, and found that Eagle Vision accepted our current insurance carrier. My wife, daughter and I have seen Dr. Blackwood, and are very pleased with his care. The opticians take their time with you, and the selection of frames are quite good. The front desk is very friendly. We do indeed recommend Eagle Vision & Eye Clinic.
I needed some contact lenses in an emergency and they helped me out. They were super nice and helpful. Their office was nice, clean and easy to find. I would highly recommend them.
I stopped in to order a year supply of new contacts as a new patient. Brandy was very friendly and even offered a trial pair of contacts to get me through until my order came in. Gail was awesome at getting through a hiccup with my insurance. Overall great customer service!
I have been going here for years and always have a good experience. They have a great selection of glasses too!
Dr. Gabriel is a fantastic diagnostician if you have a special problem and need someone who can figure it out and fix it. Especially great with kids who have special eye problems other docs cant figure out. Frames and lenses are pricey w/ not the best selection. We often get ours filled at Walmart but will never go to someone else besides Dr. Gabriel. Shes too good to miss out on her advice.
I have been going her for 3 years and have never had a bad experience. All the doctors and staff have been fantastic.
This place is a definitive ripoff. You can go get your exam for your copay of $15 if you have insurance. But they will not finalize a contact lens exam unless you pay their ridiculous contact lens fitting fee. Even though I have had contacts before they insisted that in order to get them I would need to pay at minimum $170.00 for the fitting. I dont need to pay that much money to have someone show me how to put a lens in my eye (even though their assurance was if I need a follow up visit that covers it too) If you have astigmatism - $225. Go out of network, pay the $99.00 for a good exam somewhere else. Even if you use them for your regular check ups, you could still get a second exam AND still save at least $70.00. Bad business practice is a great tag line for this office.
Terrible customer service. Ive been going for years and it seems lately they have hired a bunch of people who dont care about their patients. Their prices are higher than any place in town. Their selection is very limited. I would find another place and dont waste your time if I were you.
Wow! Awesome clinic. My boyfriend has a recurring eye flare-up....called and had an appointment within 10 min!!!!!! Thanks Eagle Vision for taking great care of him!
Great group of people. Dr. Forest top notch guy. Thanks for everything.
Ive been coming here for 15 years now and today was the first time Ive had a bad experience. The lady doc wont stop talking 100 miles an hour and has a constant attitude and is rushing me. As I sit in the exam chair typing this I cant wait to get my glasses then find a new doctor... Absolutley horrible
I would highly recommend Dr. Forrest for his prescribing scleral lenses for an alternative contact lens. I had tried all kind of lenses but nothing worked for my dry eye. They will walk you thru the process and give you a great fit. Never liking glasses, these lenses solved my problem and I only wish I would have found them earlier. They are for many problem eyes, in addition to dry eye. Thanks, Dr. Foresst and Eagle Vision!
The best of the best, this teamwork makes the dreamwork!
Place is a rip off - way over-priced. Save your money and go elsewhere.
