I just recently had my pc built here, and these guys absolutely killed it! They had great customer service and right off the bat I knew they had very good knowledge and knew exactly what they were doing.They helped me decide on the right parts to fit my price range and were extremely flexible and quick to finish the process.Highly recommend to give this place a visit for any of your computer needs!

The employee was friendly and had a great smile. They had what I needed (phone charger) and I seen what appeared to be other products for phones along with computers. It was a higher price than I usually pay for these types of items but I tried it at a local coffee shop and was concerned about it so I went back and the employee took the time to check it out for me. I suspect the issue I was concerned about might have been the outlit I used because it has been working fine for me since. Ive had it for about 2 days and Ive been using it. I think its got a convenient location, I dont know of any other place around that area with phone supplies. I got them to thank for being able to charge my phone when I wasnt able to get my charger without a trip o another part of town. Also got to see that impressive smile from that pleasent employee.

Experimax was very helpful both times Ive been in. They solved an Apple cable problem and changed a bad battery on my laptop. On both occasions they gave full attention to the issue and solved it promptly. They were very helpful and courteous. I recommend them highly.

I had them do a PC build after some issues at another shop left me with a box of components. Dont let their Apple specialization deter you if youre a PC customer. Great customer service, knowledgeable, good prices and they got it done very quickly. I will definitely go back if I need PC work done in the future. Highly recommend this shop.

Not just for Apple products! They did a wonderful job with my HP laptop. I needed the charging port replaced and the case replaced when the hinge broke. Parts were promptly ordered and the repairs were completed quickly and with a smile! I was able to take my laptop on vacation instead of leaving it at the shop. Experimax has repaired about a half dozen phones for our family over the years and they always come through. Their pricing is very fair, less than other places I checked in Boulder. They were even able to repair one that other places in Boulder could not repair. They do a great job and they are very professional! Andrew (owner) is always on site. I recently took a difficult repair to him involving a cracked back-glass on an iPhone 8 plus (it was DESTROYED with a driver on the back swing) and hes tooling up to be able to do this repair. The other good thing is he will be up front with you and if something cannot be repaired he will tell you that rather than trying to hustle you like many places these days. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Andrew and Experimax in Longmont for terrific service and pricing on broken phones.

My iPhone stopped notifying me when I got a text (sometime before the virus shut-down). Andrew looked at it, told me how do to a soft reset (?) and it was fixed! I have kept his business card and will definitely be back when I need help again.

We had the opportunity to bring in some of our old devices to Experimax and the results were wonderful. If you have been hanging onto anything, we highly recommend you bring them in and talk to the staff about your options. They are extremely helpful and kind. You won’t be disappointed!

I brought in a Microsoft Surface Book with bloated batteries and a damaged screen due to the battery expansion. The type of computer and extent of the issues could have rendered the device unrepairable, but Experimax was up to the challenge. They dealt with me honestly and fairly throughout the process, with great communication on the repair progress, and our laptop is fully functional again and running great.

Recently had an iPad Pro Screen in need of repair and it is not a common repair, nobody in town had the parts in stock but they were able to find the parts and get it done in 2 hours after the part came in (after 2 day shipping), 3 day turn around, cant beat that. Great service, fair pricing.

I cant say more good things about this find. I TRULY needed a computer and to help me along and was unable to get the help I needed until I found these great people who had a different system of financing. Walking down Main street one day and noticed this computer store and popped in to see what they do. I met Diana, one of the owners, and she was so friendly and she showed me around and told me all about what they do. I didnt realize they fixed and sold Apple equipment, and some PC stuff too. I wasnt even planning to replace my phone cover but they had something better than what I was using. Now I know where to go if my Apple stuff breaks, want to buy a gently owned Apple computers or phones, or get some phone accessories too. It was nice to actually go into a store and get some one on one conversation with the owners and their tech staff.

Andrew and his guys took good care of me when I needed a new Mac for my office and in getting my old machine up to good usable condition. Cant thank you enough. I will definitely be back!

Best around! I took my iPhone for a screen repair a few weeks ago and they fixed it in just 1 hour. The store is nice, clean and spacious with a wide variety of apple products as well. Overall a very friendly and welcoming environment.

Yesterday Andrew replaced a bad battery in an I-phone 7 we purchased at the Boulder store. The Boulder store went out of business, but Andrew honored the Experimax warranty and replaced the battery. Great people and great business. I’m 15 and accidentally shattered my iPad screen. Since I broke the iPad, my parents told me I had to pay for repair. I went to a couple other places and found that prices where either too high or repair time was too long (or both!). Experimax was reasonably priced and fixed in the same day. Needed a new Mac iPad. Experimax had exactly what we needed and the price was right. I always look to this company when I want to buy a used Apple product.

Not sure I’ve ever seen someone so easily get upset and be passively offensive. My apologies if I’m being insensitive somehow, but I did not feel like a customer wanting to spend money and/or learn more about Mac, and/or even be heard. I don’t recommend going in if you’re not part of Andrew’s idyllic customer blueprint or already know exactly what Mac product you need. I hope it was just an off day.

Andrew looked at my Mom’s phone and fixed it within 3 minutes. I’m pretty sure he is magic, I had taken it to another place and they had no idea what was wrong with it. Excellent customer service and very personable. Highly recommend.

The customer service at this store is excellent! I had a problem with a refurbished Mac purchased at the Boulder Experimax location that unexpectedly closed. Andrew not only saw that my Mac was repaired quickly (same day!) and without charge, he set up the proper one year warranty for me (which should have been done by the store that originally sold me the computer). He went above and beyond with customer service, even though I never made a purchase with his shop. I will be back for my future needs.

They upgraded my mid-2015 iMac from a 1TB hard drive to a 1TB SSD. They did a good job, and Im very happy with the performance increase -- everything seems to run a LOT faster now. The only complaint, and the only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is that they reset my Admin password, didnt tell me, and they were closed for the next two days. I had to call Apple support and have them walk me through a back door way into my computer. All-in-all, I WOULD recommend these folks.

Experimac in Longmont is a great shop! I asked them to replace my I-phone 5 battery. It cost much less than I expected. The part was not in stock, but I chose to leave my phone with Experimac while they ordered it. There was a screen glitch (known issue) during the battery swap, but the staff called me with updates as they worked through it. I was very happy with the end result. It looks like they even replaced my screen protector because there was a crack in it before and now its gone. Nice perk!

Would never recommend this store. After 4 repeated trips to the store to get an issue resolved, which was still not taken care of by the time I decided to give another place a try in town, the owner came out and was very rude and said I had broken the phone (no kidding, its why it was there to be repaired) and after leaving my old phone to be donated -- they then sold it. Easy way for them to make free profit without being honest. MacRepair off Ken Pratt fixed my phone in one trip, for half the quoted price of this place. Run. Away.

My old 2010 MacBook finally bit the dust last week, it had been a great computer, my first experience with Apple OS. I stopped by Experimac around 11 AM. They informed me that the graphics card failed and that the easiest and most efficient process was to get a refurbd MacBook and do a data transfer, which I agreed to. I picked up a 2015, and they had all the data transferred over by closing time. Really exceptional service. Highly recmmend.

A friend recommended Experimac in Longmont because she knew I was looking for a used laptop. The shop was modern and very professional, and the staff super friendly. I found a MacBook Air in excellent condition, for much less than the other used-Mac shop (in Boulder and Fort Collins) where I had shopped for years. Afterwards I had a few questions; Andrew and his technical guys were immensely helpful. A great little addition to Longmonts thriving Main Street!
