The Carniceria is Underated. Ive been coming here since a Kid. Im glad they got New Ownership.

Mostly well stocked for a small grocery store. Good selection of meats.

They need to lower the prices, because some cans, coffe, bread and other items are a little expensive

I love this little market! As others mentioned, the meat counter has great quality meat at decent prices. And while theyre not big enough to have a huge variety of stuff, they do have the essentials. Even during this Covid emergency, they have consistently had good stocks of food and dry goods, and are careful to limit quantities when things get light so that everyone has a chance to get something. They are relatively clean and take good safety precautions, and I have never seen them price gouging (even during the early critical quarantine stages, I got milk at regular market price!)Thank you to the owners and staff. Please be respectful to them if you go. Theyre doing the best they can and have to deal with a lot of ignorant people sometimes.

Good service

If youre into Chicaron (Pork Rinds), there is no other place in the Long Beach or SoCal for that matter. This is one of the best little markets in North Long Beach. Arturo is hands down the best carnicero (or butcher). They offer excellent prices on meat and produce. There cuts are really good and there seafood is always fresh. Its a great place to go buy groceries if you dont feel like going far.

Stop snail mail advertisements in 4960 daisy Avenue Long beach California 90805 US.Theres a better way to marketing.I am still formulating a better way. I cant get out of my head.Most of these materials are sent to recycle bin and unread.Bad part the streets gets garbage on the street.

I purchased chicken wings from the meat counter, took them home and was about to season and cook them. However,when I opened the bag an overwhelming stitch came from the chicken. I politely took then back. Asked the butcher if there were any fresher wings in the back. He smelled the bag and proceeded to dump the wings back in the meat case as he told me to go and get a refund. The young lady at the register agreed that the chicken smelled and seemed horrified when I told her that he put it bask in the meat case. No need to say that youve lost a customer!

New owners are very rude and can sometimes over charge at register. But the carnitas and buche are the Best! only on friday Saturday and Sunday though. The butchers are very friendly and meat is always very fresh and of quality.

Rip off prices

This store recently had a change in mgmt or ownership and looks to be changing for the better. There is a carneceria in the back and also a money gram type service window in the front for sending and receiving money.
