It was great! I was in and out of Target within a few minutes. So convenient. Love this option.

Store refused to open the check lanes and only allowed self check out while three employees watched all the customers struggling. Poor leadership poor customer service.

A great Little Target...just pop in, get what you need and out fast. Very small for a Target, but it saves a lot of time as they probably have everything you need. Also, it is never crowded.

I would recommend friends to target in general but steer them away from this particular target location due to lack of merchandise options and unavailability of stock.

Sept 2020: Can someone answer the phone, please? How is it possible this store continues to be so poorly run?June 2020: Understaffed every time and mandated to self-checkout. Why do I refuse self-checkout? Because I have numerous small items and I don’t work here. They refused to check me out at Customer Service and the security guy told me to wait here and he’d send someone. Then he promptly proceeded to have a long private conversation with a fellow employee. I’m standing waiting for someone he promised to send as they walk away. No one came. I went back to Customer Service (and was practically yelled at by another employee) and told to now wait in line at a register 3. I don’t get it. Target used to be a haven for me. Bixby Target is poorly managed.

Not all services are available upon opening and various occasions visiting store its felt like a heavy presence of security on any BIPOC that steps foot into store. Constant survelliance..

The quality of this Target location (just across the street from CSULB) has gone down tremendously. The shopping center parking was already tight with the surrounding eateries, and now most upfront parking spaces aren’t efficiently used due to the ”Target pick-up”. Toiletries weren’t well stocked, no customer help or greeting. No customer direction for self check out. Lines accumulated with multiple self checkout kiosks down. What happened?!

Because Target has so many great things and now you can get groceries there, too. Online order/easy pick up is a big help. I get an item that my local Target does not carry. Thank goodness I can get it through online order/pickup at another nearby Target.

Although this is not the usual giant Target, I needed a new microwave and toaster oven & they had one of each. If Id shopped on line I probably would have had more choices, but would have had to wait.

Store has basically everything you would need! Merchandise is easy to find and well organized by department. I prefer shopping in their well stocked clearance section!

The Target drive up here is ghetto. I’ve been sitting here for 40min waiting on 1 item. I know that it’s the holiday, but they are unorganized and unprofessional. There are people walking up to check their orders in front of others that have been waiting a long time. I go to a few other locations for drive up all the time, and this rates the lowest. As a matter of fact, I’m on my way to another Target wh I will never come back here for drive up.

For the most part I love TARGET.... I was there on my one hour lunch and this person told me to moo I said excuse me I dont understand you... He replied I nee you to moo. So I moo, he didnt like that so he took my picture. I guess he wanted me to leave. Thank you Parking lot person... by the way its LEAVE NOT MOO... HAVE A COW MOO.....🐄

The most boring target Ive been too, so small and workers are so unmotivated. Hardly any items in stock compared to other target locations. And security just watching you. Its super dead here.

This store front ideally would be considered an express department store which is 1/4 the size of a regular Target Store. Google just has it labeled as Target and no emphasis on express or any other relations to defining descriptors for a store like this. This rating is mostly for shoppers who need to know the difference so it saves them time. Going in though and getting out seems ok with the self checkout.

This place is really small and doesn’t have allot of things that other targets have. However, it’s across from the university. And perfect for students that just need something quick without trying to find a ride. Better than my schools commissary.

Located near CSULB students also come here for college dorm supplies/ school supplies and clothing:) October I got a new I phone after searching 12 targets this one had the i phone I was looking for and it was the only 1 in stock! Sales associate Thomas was great!

When I went to Target on my last visit, it was very good, especially since I needed to return an item that I had purchased at a different Target. Plus the store I returned the item to is considered an Express store, which means that it is not as large as other Target stores and sells an abbreviated amount of items compared to the larger stores.But for my purposes, it was fine. I was in and out of the store quickly, which was what I needed at the time.

Organization, all I had to do was give my name and not go through my emails to show the confirmation, convenience. The process was fast and painless.

Staff was very unfriendly - one person was downright rude. Everyone seems like they hate working there. Decent selection, but they were out of a lot of electronic chargers and other small electrics. Weird vibes in there. Dont think Ill be back.

So gross, I had to leave. Sorry for the tone, but we’re in a pandemic and employees at the front are letting people in without masks and letting people in with non-service dogs during a pandemic. I’m pretty sure the experts haven’t let up on the masks these days. I would re-evaluate the dismissal of masks, if not for your clientele, at least for your employees.

Surprisingly nice and very clean Target. I remember when it used to be Ralphs here not long ago, and parking lot was a disaster. Now, its very nice.

Target is one of my favorite stores! Just dont shop at the Long Beach Bixby store unless you want to be profiled and treated like a criminal!!

They have what I need. Everyone is friendly and helpful. It feels like an upscale market.

Your Associate Eddie at this store in Long Beach Ca. I came in to purchase a Dust Buster and he looked it up on his computer phone to see what was in stock and was going to walk me to them but you only had some in at $80 but you would be getting more models in on order and I could also go to the larger store way up on Bellflower Blvd.. He was very kind, polite and helpful and knowledgeable ...a very special person and it was a pleasure to speak with him...

Workers are lazy unmotivated it seems like it hurts their souls to to help you.

Always love doing business at this Target location... Im always given great customer service and I never have to wait very long in line. Quick and easy and in and out in a flash.. I am the type who can not stand to wait in line so coming here really makes it a positive experience...

This is a slightly smaller Target than most. It replaced an old supermarket. So the layout is more compacted than usual. If youre used to the full sized store layout, you may find it a little difficult to navigate. But if youre not familiar with the larger stores, I would imagine that one enjoy this boutique sized Target. It also has a small grocery section in the rear of the store.

I understand this is a small target, but seriously....there is nothing here, if it is, its either dirty, out of stock, or a complete mess. I was excited to have a target this close to my house, but honestly, I will never shop here again, its such a waste of time. I can get more selection at a gas station convenient store. Such a waste of space and time.

Its a small building and thus lacks features that other chains may have such as a Pharmacy.Good selection on clothes and makeup. A bit lacking in toiletries and medication.Food section has nice variety of pantry goods ranging from big brand to small family own. Not many fresh items or produce.Bathroom used to require an access code but is now left open. It lacks a diaper changing section.Theres an in court Starbucks and several self checkout aisles.Its okay for what it is considering the size.Edit: Ayye theres an alcohol section now about to get lit.

It is a really dirty target

This place is great if your a student that goes to the college across the street. You can literally walk. But, otherwise its not the best target. Its very small, and they dont carry alot of items. If it was a full Target store, I would ship here all the time. Im giving it a 4, because I never had a problem with the associates. Knock on wood...One other thing, it is in a difficult location for driving. You can come in one way, but to exit, you have to almost go around the block.

This is a smaller version of the regular target, so you might not always find what youre looking for, but it comes in handy when youre near school and just need to pick up a few things here and there. I like the design although sometimes it feels a little cramped, but I think this was a good location choice because college students lol, and its in a busy area, so business will probably be good here.

First time at this Target location, near CSULB. Very clean and organized. Mini location but they had just about everything, including a food market and Starbucks! I’ll be stopping in here more often.

This Target is small, but it is an express so it makes sense. Its actually really nice for an express store. It has everything a regular sized target does just smaller. No usual wait times to purchase and it has a Starbucks!

Its got a great selection and you could save some money, As long as you keep your eye on it. (@_@)

The target isnt very large, probably one of the smallest targets Ive ever been to. However, I really enjoyed the small size of it. I found everything I needed fairly quickly because everything was near each other. Its a cute, tiny target.

I tried doing a baby formula promotion and the manager was brought to the scene from her lunch. I guess she was upset and quickly tried to fix my problem. I bought 3 baby formulas and the system was charging me for the 15$ gift card. She wanted me to pay 15$ for what was supposed to be a free gift. So i left disappointed and tried it at another Target and it worked. I told them that it was the system that was wrong but she kept telling me you have to pay for the promotion. So i went back and gave it another shot. Me and my husband went to buy some food and the lady by the self check out insisted that i pay again. My husband didnt want to pay again because he has seen the transaction go through. But then if he walked away the lady would call him a stealer. So we payed twice and got harassed by the employee. I guess we dont fit in with the rich people and she thought we came to steal. Sad that they have employees that are discriminating against us.This store is a headache.

This Target is cute. It is a mini Target with a pretty good selection still. Has a Starbucks but no food court (darn, I really dig the popcorn).

Wrong item and manager was unresponsive!! Horrible experience. Manager would not talk to us and walked off without resolving the issue. As a manager you really need to be able to talk to customers if they have an issue.

This location is a smaller target and does not have as much variety in items. Its ok if you are looking to buy very common items of any brand, but not if you are looking for something specific. One of the good things is this target has a Starbucks.

The manager here is very rude, I tried returning something, understanding that targets return policy is a little extreme, but was told by the manager they had the ability to return the item but wouldnt do it for me.. some customer service .also has a smaller selection of items sold because it is a smaller target so its hard to find some of the usual things I purchase regularly at other targets.not the cleanest target either, I saw a marijuana joint on the floor there.They do have a Starbucks though which is nice but the barista is a little on the slow side if you are lucky to not have to wait in line.

The young lady at the cosmetic aisle was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and fun! It was the only time when Ive got any help in Target stores.

Its a mini- Target that sells the basics. Clothing, shoes, groceries, includes a kids section, gift section, outdoor section and a few other necessities. Just opened within the last year or so, so its still clean and new. Employees were helpful and courteous.

Small, this Target has half of the amount of items than the regular store. The chances of you finding a specific item youre looking for are slim. Perks, theres a Starbucks inside.

Visit was fine but had to laugh! Theres little signs under alot of products saying New Lower Prices when in fact this product went up in price! I know this because I buy it regularly. Raise the price but dont put a sign on it saying New lower Prices?

I know most employees which makes the experience all the better; for new comers the quality of service is superb!

The people on floor were helpful to a point I asked where to get hand sanitizer and they just made a reference to the aisle numbers, I noticed some of the aisle numbers and descriptions were missing and that an advertizement covered the area where some of the descriptions should have been, down the aisle with eyelash curlers tweezers and nail polish, all of the prices or Tilted at angle that made them illegible especially with the bright light on the racks that the eyelash curlers tweezers and nail polish were on

I went at about 11:00 am. None of the registers were open so Customer Service was inundated with customers waiting to get checked out.

Very tiny target thats clearly geared towards Cal State Long Beach students, but it does the job. Shelves are always well stocked.

Be prepared!! Probably will not have what you are looking for and if they do, It will be extremely expensive!! This Target is a bust!!!

Bad service the cashiers there didnt want to exchange my product I dont advise any one to buy and try to exchange any thing there in short dont buy here. Very unhelpful staff there was also a very rude female cashier at time I was there all in all a bad experience
