I LOVE Sears!! It really hurts to see ours here in Long Beach go out of Business!! Ive done more than my share trying to shop there for many things hoping to help pull them out of their financial rut, even encouraged others to purchase some items there, but unfortunately its all too much, too little, too late. there signs are up, top floor is empty, second floor is 3/4 empty now and its a matter of days....🤔 As I said, it saddens me!! It was GREAT Store!!

Well the store says Sears on the outside and that its closing with 40% off. Well to my surprise they told me that they are not Sears but a wholesale company taking over for the closing. The reason I brought this up is that they had some work socks that had a members price of 7.99 and a regular price of 9.99. Well I thought I would buy 4 pairs because Im a member, I didnt really need them but... so anyways I go to the register ring it up but no member price. So they explain about the Sears and not Sears, so anything that applies as being a member is null and voided.

Stock is low but during this time its understandable. Not crowded at all. We were able to get part of what we went there for. Well find out if the quality of what we did buy, (belts) brings us back.My husband gets his work boots there but I guess well order online.

This Sears is amazing! Friendly staff and have amazing stuff! It’s very sad to see this location closing. I will very much miss this location. :(

Despite the fact that this particular store is closing, Ive always received great service from the sales team. I hope they get moved to another location to continue to provide great service.

The prices are great and the clothes are good quality....but two stars because the lines are ridiculous! No one was in the mens department and I had to go downstairs to check out! They really need to fix this but I dont feel they will as its the busiest season of the year and they only have one line!!

Sears on Bellflower Blvd. and Sterns is great! Good quality and very low prices along with plenty of parking. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the store is low on personnel... its hard to find an employee to answer your question/s...

I use to love Sears and stop going when brands I loved were losing contract with them. Recently went back not as great as it used to be but if you look around youll find some great deals like these boots for $12 and legging jeans I got for $4.95

This Sears was well stocked and had a lot of good deals.

Ron the mattress sales person was really helpful. Explaining coils and hybrid mattresses. He was patient as we layed on ALL of the beds and he helped us get a great deal on a Serta mattress.

Nice workers and I got my kids 3 pair of pants for under 10 bucks. Good sale on tools.

Well this Sears store compared to all the ones in Orange county has the most stock that I have seen in a Sears store in a long time. I dont know if its just for Christmas but they really have a good stock of pretty much anything in any department. I walked all the departments in every department is full with stock. Go check it out.

They like to raise the prices four or five times higher in order to put it on discount which is more than twice the amount than it actually cost. I bought a dishwasher from them two years ago for $199, which broke after a couple of washes. I just saw it in the store, refurbished, with a note saying that it cost $795 but theyre putting it on discount for $495 for the exact same dishwasher. I have seen them do this multiple times. Major price gouging. Not trying to be a hater, Im just trying to inform those out there who dont know. Please double check the pricings on how much they really cost.

I forgot how many quality brands Sears stocked. Bought 2 pair of hiking boots 2 pair of tennis shoes and about 12 other items. Very reasonable prices.

Didnt have what I was looking for... But, I cant find it anywhere. It felt mostly organized, but I felt like putting mens work clothes on the 3rd floor rather than with the rest of the mens clothes on the second floor was not a great idea. Also, there werent signs marking what was on each floor, so I almost walked out before even going up to the 3rd floor. But, if youre looking for basic stuff... Clothing, shoes, home goods, tools, etc... Youll probably find something here.

Ordered online and item did not come in as promised. Contacted online department first was told they would refund and to reorder. Spoke to supervisor and was told item not available. I am required to wait for refund and despite item in stock at store would not honor sale. I purchased same item at higher price. The claim is different inventories from store. Contacted CEO and didn’t hear back. Why charge card if not fulfilling order?

Lots of memories, Sears will be missed.

This place was once a great store but sadly has went down hill. They just dont have the quality or inventory that they did back in the day. They do still carry some decent mens clothing but just not much else.

I contacted Sears los altos directly after learning that I wasnt given a $60 credit on my statement bill as promised with opening up the credit card itself. I was told by Sears credit card/ city bank to contact the store and ask for a manager and it will be resolved. I did so and all went South from there. I got an Asst snarky manager by the name of Ron. Ron used words like obviously, and comments such as Im giving to you what your giving me. Ron was very unprofessional with me. He has no problem solving skills. His behavior was reminiscent of a sales associate working on his/her last day at the store. I caught on pretty quickly and asked him what was his position there at the store and he responded Asst manager. I knew before I knew and he even went back and forth about him being an asst manager and not a manager though I clearly asked for a Manager. After I requested then to speak with an actual manager he begrudgingly put me on hold, wherefore I received the pleasant problem solver Manager Isabel. Within a matter of minutes she adjusted my bill with no problems at all. Please Sears Los altos, give Ron the asst manager in appliances supervision classes and sensitivity training. He put a bad taste in my mouth and gave the worst customer service by an Asst manager period.

I think Sears is a forgotten jem. They have so many great deals on shoes and clothing. I think we forget what they all sell ( appliances, tools, mattresses, jewelry and clothing).

Nice customer service. Not the most modern store nor state-of-the-art technology, but are they whats good prices Im good products that have stood the test of time. The Shop Your Way app is fun and when linked to a gas buddy card yields tons of free stuff.

I would have been more happy had they offered insurance on my eyeglasses a year ago, or perhaps an optical specialist to repair my glasses. But the great news is that now they offer this insurance for $34.99 now at the Sears Optical Department, which is as you can guess just where I went to. I did receive a discount on some older frames which held my lenses, so when I left I could see again! Very happy with the terms and conditions of my visit here.

Wife and I picked up great mattress from Maureen on the second floor. She Shure knows her way around those products . Quite a lot of technology now a day. Thanks so much Maureen.

Its the best place to shop deals as they always have discount and coupons. They always allow you to earn sears credit and you can use it on your next purchase like kohl s cash.

Sears is my favorite store in America! Hopefully someday they can compete with Amazon. I buy everything from Sears great deals nice people and their a brick-and-mortar store, unlike Amazon. The only restriction is they dont have all the products Amazon has, even that they dont, Ill buy what I can from Sears.

I like Sears and still shop there, but you can tell that they are in some kind of chaotic free fall. I find it nostalgic and depressing whenever I visit. Just spent about $300 here buying Christmas gifts last month and as I returned to my car, I wondered if this store will be here next Christmas.

Sad to see them going out of business. This store however has some good deals occasionally on off name brands as well as tools.....

Went there for some last minute work clothes. Selection varies highly every time Ive been there. Not a lot of staff to ask questions to. Staff that was there were nice and helpful though--just took some searching. Good for last minute shopping wedding shoes or a tie, but wouldnt recommend for more than that.

Still good prices, almost everything discounted. Closes at 6pm.

This Sears has a limited physical inventory of kids toys or anything blowup like pools and slides and very limited supply of Vaccums. Also seems to have almost completely gotten rid of its electronic and video game section. Has a great clothing section, tool supply and appliance section. Customer service is above average.

Such a shadow of its former self. The cashiers in the tool department went out of their way to be both cheerful and helpful that was remarkable to experience again. True customer service at a store is so refreshing and greatly appreciated. I hope the management of the store can know how their efforts to hire and train such an excellent staff is noticed and at least I will try to be a repeat customer as a result.

I came here to get my Craftsman tools fixed. When I came back to pick them up I found out that one of my tools had been given out to someone else. If you want good, proper service dont come to this store. Theres a reason that Sears is closing down.

Just embarrassing. Went Wednesday trying to buy an impact driver (similar to a drill). Online said it was in stock in store. We drive the ten miles from home and the closest stir that was out of stock to this store. Now, it is not in stock in store but if we order online we can pick up in store. So we did; Thursday. Trird to pick up today. The new impact driver is greasy and doesnt have a box. Fine, not a big deal. It will get greasy any way...the battery is the wrong one and the charger. It is supposed to come with a battery and charger that work for it, not the one half size. Hubby gets upset at the kid. He says he is going to look for the right one. Calls the manager, we can get the wrong one for $60 off. How does that help?! The correct part is $100 by itself. I dont want to spend an extra $40 for parts that are suppose to come with it and wpuld if it were in the box and not already used!!

Store was having a clearance sale. While there was nothing on the floor or in disarray the store looked like it was closing down.Couldnt find what I was looking for (dress shirt) due to a limited selection.Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a hiring sign so hopefully that means the store will stick around.

I called and asked if they had any Jack Daniels shirts and was told no. My husband went in and immediately found them. Brush up on your customer service skills. Good thing my husband was already on it. You guys need better customer service reps. Lazy and unknowing.

Alright place. Usually go to Sears to buy kids uniforms. The place is clean but sometimes its a bit confusing funding what you need at least four clothing. If you need tools, appliances or a mattress that is easy to find. Staff is usually pleasant and helpful. Only issue i ever had was getting help at the store section. There is usually very light traffic at this store so if you know what you are getting and where it is it is an easy in and out.

I find myself going to Sears less and less. Probably 6 months since I was there last. I did find one shirt that was on clearance that I liked. However there was not a customer service register open on the entire second floor so you had to go downstairs and wait for the only one on the first floor. Ridiculous.

A ghost town. They dont sell small parts for major appliances, nor do the ship to the store.

Bad customer service. Long lines and very few cashiers open.Sears is very far from what it used to be. Sears used to sell made in the U.S.A. clothing and items.Now its quality is deplorable Garments fall apart when I hardly wear them. Very poor quality.

It was ok!..always have to wait awhile at the register when checking out. Nobody really around to assist you!..had a really nice lady today help me find white shirts for my sons concerts. She went out of her way..it was about 2:00 pm. Today 10-31. At our Long Beach store..upstairs in mens dept.

I ordered a refrigerator on Oct. 8th, today is Friday November 8th and still hasnt arrived!!! I ve been trying to contact the manager at the store and no luck yet. Left my name and number with a sales rep. John Steiner because mgr. Isabel Conde was supposed to call me sometime today and guess what?...yep, nothing yet! The only sharp people at sears are the billing department, my invoice arrived a week after my purchase and if I dont pay on time, they are going to charge me 39 dollars late fee.....thank god they are not in the medical services industry because Ill be in my grave by now.

When I go to try on shoes this location has a huge issue with shoe theft. Id open a box and someones old nasty shoes are there. This has happened on multiple occasions. Perhaps since this is such an issue move the shoe are away from the exit that is easily accessible. Poor selection of watches g-shock brand in particular. Shop your way rewards is a joke. Theyre trying to save remaining stores, actually do something. This location used to be so much better.

Went in to purchase a dishwasher and found the one I was looking for. It was also available at Best Buy but Sears promised a more timely delivery and installation. I asked the Sales Associate (who was an *Appliance Specialist*) if the delivery date was solid and she said yes- I told her the only reason I was buying it at Sears was because of the delivery date. Sears also charged $70 for delivery (or $145 for delivery and installation) and BB delivers for free over $399. But as I couldnt get a hold of my plumber right away I opted for the delivery and install.After relieving me of over $1000 on the sale, the next day I get a call telling me that they were scheduling me for delivery in a WEEK! So it went from 2 days to a week.I cancelled the order and now have to wait for 7-10 for my money back. Well see how long that really takes. I was cut off numerous times while canceling the order and couldnt even get the store itself to answer the phone.It really ticks me off to have a company promise what they cant deliver while taking your money. Ill gladly wait and give my money to someone else who will actually tell the truth and not what they think you want to hear with no intention of following through.And after all this each time the person on the other end of the phone says And thank you for choosing Sears!I Un-Choose Sears! Forever.

The phone system doesnt let you talk to a live person. Probably never buy another large appliance here again. Their customer support is horrible.

Its a shame that old institutions like Sears will be forced to close, especially as the result of the pandemic. They have not been able to keep up with market changes and shopping online. Store brands like Craftsman and Kenmore will live on if only in our memories.

So Ive been hearing these reports that Sears is on a death spiral and that no one likes shopping there anymore. While that may be the case for some Sears locations, this Sears location is BITCHIN!! I LOVE IT!!! The old assosiate at the appliance section was so HOT, HOT, HOT!!! The toy department is nice, and clothes were CHEAP. I hope this Sears stays for years to come. #AddAGrocceryStoreInIt
