Ground Hideout is a lovely spot in Long Beach to get some coffee. Its a great medium space with plenty of space to work or meet with someone. I appreciated that the music wasnt too loud. What really sets Hideout apart is the food items they have. The breakfast burrito is amazing. This all falls under the care of a friendly staff.

It was absolutely phenomenal. I’ve read a lot of good review about this place so decided to check it out myself. The strawberry croissant is definitely a must try. I’d say it’s their signature. They serve warm or (cold) as is. Highly recommend to go for as is. It brings out the crunchy-ness of the croissant as well as the crumble on top. I had cold brew as it was hot that day, and it just is the boost I needed. They have outdoor seating that allows you to enjoy the sunny breeze; chilling. They also have curb side meter parking (not free) just right outside the coffee house. Plenty of outdoor Seats in 2, one in 4. They also have a cute stamp card for regulars :)

Nice coffee shop with cool aesthetic. Very quick service and friendly staff. I had the Caramel Apple Latte from the Autumn menu and it was great.

Wow yum yumJust went here and got a cold brew and avocado toast w/added baconSoo good they put tons of avocado which is great and I like how the bacon was broken up on top and not just strips. Didn’t even think of that but it makes it way easier to eat! And they don’t skimp on the bacon either. Very friendly staff as well.

The Lavender Matcha Tonic is a great pick me up for the morning before my drive back home. the bacon and egg biscuit was wonderfully flaky and crispy. Would go back. Wanna go back.

Best coffee in all of Long Beach! Family owned business with fantastic service. Always a delight visiting this coffee shop. Its an easy choice picking this place over a popular Seattle based coffee chain.

Love this little cafe. The family that runs this place are always sweet to talk to and they have never messed up an order. Also, they serve Verve coffee (which is really good!) and they use high quality ingredients. Be sure to give this place a try. Oh and they have nice outdoor seating.

Wonderful coffee place with rich, tasty coffee and daily prepared sandwiches. Outside tables, by the street, allowe for people and traffic watching while you sip your excellent coffee and enjoy freshly prepared sandwich.

This place is legit and it has everything I need for a perfect breakfast AND more. I came into town hungry and nothing else was open - so happy to see that they had a hot meal menu. I got a hearty biscuit meal with cut ham, egg & cheese that was exceptionally filling - exactly what I was needing. I also got a peppermint tea and shot of something. I don’t mind having to drive all the way from Cerritos to get my third wave coffee fix since quality to me is aways aways worth it.I also got to speak to the owners and it was nice to also get to chat and thank them for a solid business in the area. I was living in Santa Monica for years so I’m glad there are good standards in Long Beach, too.

Im from outta town and was walking to another shop but noticed this one and had to try it. And man I was not disappointed. If u like coffee and not that sweet but with flavor. Here is your place. Bomb coffee. Plus look at this sign

Everything Ive tried here is really good, but the breakfast sandwich is my favorite. I like sandwiches, but I usually refer to bread as a delivery system for whatever is in the sandwich. Their biscuit changes that! It is the reason to get the breakfast sandwich! SO GOOD!

Cute little coffee shop. Plenty of street parking. Just wanted a drip decaf but they didnt serve that, a little disappointed but just ordered a regular drip coffee. Enjoyed the vibe there. Also served pastries and muffins.

Great coffee, yummy food. however please consider not using single-use plastic even for people who dine in. that is just downright bad for the environment and can be easily avoided. get some proper knives, forks and don’t pollute our oceans with throw-away stuff :-)

Beautiful coffee shop with really exciting specialty coffees! I love finding places like this that get so creative with their options. We also tried a few of their lattes, which were also amazing and unique. It’s a beautiful shop, too.

This place was amazing! Seriously hands down best place I’ve been to for coffee. I drink a lot of coffee and have tried lots of different places. I got the sugar free vanilla oat latte and my friend got the iced chai latte. Both were the best. Also great food! Friendly, quick service. I recommend to everyone!

This is my favorite shop in Long Beach. I drink vanilla lattes, and this place has the most consistent quality I’ve seen. There’s a lot of great coffee shops in LB but sometimes they’re not always on point. This place has tasted the same every time I’ve gone, and that taste was GREAT.

Coffe is great and the green matcha strawberry croissant is excellent! Other food looks very good but didnt have any. The best is the service, even though its window service for now, they do have some tables and outside seating and make as personal as possible and you feel it. This is definitely a great neighborhood shop.

They were open on Labor Day so I stopped accidentally because every other brunch spot was super packed out today! So glad destiny brought me here.The breakfast biscuit (I tried the bacon and egg) was so good I double dipped for a breakfast burrito which was nicely panini pressed for some added crunch. Both were delish.The drinks were both crafty as well with a Mushroom Chagachino and a Match Lavender Tonic.Given how friendly and accommodating this place is and the quality of food and drink, Im down for 5 stars.

Great place to really relax. Coffee was pretty good, (I am used to Starbucks)...but the pastry was amazing. Staff is superior.

I ordered medium iced Americano, blueberry muffin, olive oil citrus muffin (my favorite), avocado toast, and a ridiculously good breakfast sandwich. Every single item was very good! It was worth going to and would return!

We went to Ground Hideout Coffee today for the first time. We ordered the Brown Sugar Toffee Latte and the Orange Cardamon Latte to go. Both were delicious! Both had great flavor. They did not disappoiny. We cant wait to try it again when we are able to go inside and sit for awhile (once the pandemic is over). From what we could see, the inside looked cute.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Long Beach. Theyve created a nice outdoor area to physically distance and sit to enjoy your coffee or snack. Theyre super friendly and theyre drinks are amazing! My favorite is the iced oat milk latte. They sell Verve coffee and will grind it for you if needed. You can also buy Oatly Barista Edition by the quart!

So this is my new spot for coffee. Its consistent and top notch across the board. My favorite drink is the orange cardamom latte, its just the perfect hint of fresh orange that pairs surprisingly well with the coffee. Do give this place a try.

Great selection of teas. I picked the jasmine variety and the staff delivered it to my table. The space is welcoming, open, and bright. Perfect place to get some work done. Metered street parking only.

Came by for their opening day, and my wife and I had a wonderful time. The shop is really beautiful inside, the coffee and treats were delicious, and the staff was very friendly. This is a nice addition to the neighborhood, and Im excited to come back in the future
