Anyone knows that 2021 is not a great year to buy a car, but life happens and some things need to be done. The staff and managers here were very service oriented and did their best to work with me on a price. There were no creepy sales vibes, high pressure, or anything negative. Just good people selling reliable safe cars and trucks.
Found the truck online and received an email and call immediately after. Megan described the truck and ended with, “it’s a beautiful truck.” That was an understatement this beast is amazing! West coast Toyota was an immaculate dealership, the people were so amazing and friendly (and funny), and it just felt right. Never had anywhere near an experience like this when purchasing a vehicle. Customer Service was outstanding! I got what I wanted for the price I wanted. West Coast Toyota is very clean and very organized and the floor manager Aldo was excellent! The finance manager Francisco Mejia did a very good job of guiding me through the whole process. I am very happy with my purchase!

Always used to come here for my oil changes on my camry. Last month I wrecked my car and came to west coast Toyota to get a new car. Drove off with a brand new 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD. I was helped by Aldo. He made my car buying experience very pleasant and fun. I would recommend this dealership to anybody looking for a new car in general.

First time buying a car here. I was really happy with there use lot prices at West Coast Toyota. Prices on used cars are in high demand right now. I looked everywhere for a well equipped corolla and was happy I found it here. Low miles great prices and did everything to help me out with my monthly payments and down payment. Was there Approximately 2 hours and happy everything went smoothly. Thanks to Ricky we went home happy.

Very condescending sales manager. When trying to make a deal on a 2021 Tacoma this dealership was trying to rip me off by charging me 10-15K more than MSRP. They then tried to ask me to lease the vehicle to buy. When I said no the sales manager Eddie insulted me by asking me if I knew how a lease worked and to be focused on only on the payments. Im sorry but Im not going to end up paying more for a car in the long run by leasing. I politely walked out of the dealership after that terrible customer service.
I was looking to trade in my vehicle and Sandra and Stephanie reached out over the phone to set up an appraisal. I already had a higher appraisal then their estimate, however they convinced me that they could match or beat the offer. I took time off of work and drove all the way to the dealership only for them to offer over $2,000 less then what they promised. The staff should not make promises they cannot keep and waste the time of their patrons.
Worked with Ruben and was able to get the car my wife wanted. Ruben was the easiest salesman and team to work with. We never felt hassled or hustled. We were listened to till the end of the purchase and that was awesome. We got a great deal a left happy. The dealership was extremely welcoming. I flew down from Northern California to check out a BMW X5 I saw online that they had on their lot. I called them on a Wednesday about the car and explained that I was highly interested but lived in Northern California and couldn’t make it down to Long Beach until Sunday morning. They told me they would try their best to save it for me but if someone came in to buy they’d have to sell it, which is understandable, but the salesman Ricky kept me posted everyday, even if it went for a test drive. Then told me if it didn’t say and took pictures for me. Ricky went above and beyond. I bought my flight and was down there 1st thing Sunday morning. When I arrived about 5-6 people were there to greet me with smiles on there face including Ricky. This process was long and grueling but they even bought me breakfast during the wait. After a few hours haggling and the paperwork, I had my car and was on my way!Thank you West Coast Toyota of Long Beach

On top of that he worked really hard to get me to the price point I wanted. Worst customer service I received from a Toyota dealership and just for service on my vehicle. Had a bad tire and would’ve never known by the person assisting until I walked outside and seen the big chalk mark on my tire. Wasn’t asked if I would like the service package, a brand new tire or filters I also had to look at the paper just to find out what was wrong with my vehicle. All they wanted was to collect payment and send me on my merry way!!! Never again will I come to this dealership would never recommend it to anyone!

My car was mis-diagnosed and potentially damaged at the Toyota dealership. The service rep over-quoted the ignition coil fix by 200 dollars, and only reduced it when I said Id be looking elsewhere.When my car died the day after the service, I was told my battery and alternator needed fixing, which was incorrect, and was once again quoted an exorbitant price (nearly 800 dollars just for the alternator).I was blatantly lied to about how cars work and told that my alternator failed because I didnt pick up my car for two days (I picked it up about 4 hours after getting the call that work was done), and that cars that arent driven often will fail (I drive my car pretty much every day).I ended up towing my car to a different mechanic who confirmed my battery was fine, and fixing the alternator for nearly 400 dollars less.Its one thing to pay more at a dealership; its another to have your car damaged, and misdiagnosed, and to be lied to.
Update: I emailed the contact provided on August 27th, and a month later there’s no reply. Still not happy with the customer service.Original post:Not a happy customer. I bought a car in March of 2021. It’s now August and I still don’t have my plates or registration. I went to the DMV to inquire, they said Toyota hasn’t finalized my registration. I talked to Toyota finance department and they didn’t have a good reason. Worst of all, the temp plates they gave me have expired and they failed to let me know.
Busy but got my car in for service with minimal fuss, at the time they said they would. Unfortunately not the most walkable location, but a quick Uber from places to eat while you wait

I tried to contact Alex, who I basically bought the car from, when I noticed there could be a problem with the hood of car but she never responded to my text. Seems to me that they dont care about the customers once the cars are sold. Very bad customer service. Came here on a Wednesday morning, because my brakes on my brand new 2021 RAV4 XLe HYBRID were screeching…they explained to me that because they couldn’t duplicate the problem there was no problem. That night I got a MALFUNCTION NOTIFICATION FROM THE CAR of my vehicle stability control system and pre-collision system NOT WORKING PROPERLY… MIND YOU I WORK WITH CHILDREN.The next morning, before I even got out of the car, a mechanic who never even got inside the care said there was nothing wrong but that they would take all codes and send it to their engineers. Not only did that take them seven hours, but they lied about even physically looking at the car. (I was watching the entire time from behind the building.)When I asked for all the records of what was done to my vehicle, including all of the codes, they refused. So I started to take a video and quickly shifted to the papers and caught the service manager on camera saying that he will not give me copies and that I should not return after today. BUT WHY??Potter also said “DO I DO THIS EVERYWHERE?” What was that? I can’t ask for a receipt?Make sure you know who you’re messing with BEFORE it’s too late. You’re Toyota legal team will be contacting you tomorrow :)Customer service 0/10Humanity 0/10Toyota- never again

Service was excellent, and our sales guy Aldo was amazing. I like that he approached us at the lot, told us he was here if we needed him as what we were looking for and directed us to it. We didnt have him hounding us, and when we were ready and had questions we called him to the sales floor for him to assist.Experience was quick and fast, got us taken care of and we were driving off in our new vehicle shortly after we decided to say yes to the NX300H.They were a bit short staffed on a Sunday, but even because of that the team still made our time as quick as possible!By far the best experience I have had.
Tried to up-sell me during an oil change by stating that I had major issues that needed immediate action. Took it to another dealer and they stated I had no major issues that needed to be taken care of and that I had the normal wear and tear of a 10 year old car. Take a look at all the bad reviews. Each one has the same cut-and-paste reply. That tells you all you need to know. Stay away from the service department.
Went in for a lease buyout and dealership tried to add so many items into my buyout that it would amount to over 6k over my agreed buyout. When asked what was the extra 6k he stated it was mandatory by Toyota. Strange, after further research and reaching out to Toyota Financial. These Warranty Packages is not mandatory and I was lied to. Further insult and wasting my time, seller tried to sale a 5k mark up Tacoma, at the same time and did not want me to share the numbers they gave me. By far the worst and shady dealership I have been to, this process has disgusted me and decided not to buy my truck out right.Update 6/7Emailed the business directly waiting on response.Update 6/8No response, if you dont see another update. That mean the company has not reached out and is not truly attempting to resolve the issue.
It was good service but a little pricey. I got an oil change and new windshield wiper blades and it cost me $100.

Had an offer a week before but when we went back they offered $3k less. Bait and switch.
Had trouble with the local dealer, who gave me the runaround. Also man-splained that I wouldnt like the color I wanted. And that he couldnt find the color I wanted anyway, and it would take months if he did. Five minutes on the internet, and I found five dealers who were able to help. Of those, West Coast Long Beach was the one who responded the fastest. They were fantastic. Sent me pictures, communicated with me often, and made me a great deal. Got the car trucked to me in New Mexico, and I am thrilled!!!

This place is extremely DISHONEST! My Wife took her 2016 Highlander for an oil change; came out with a “service Suggestion” that she needed front and rear brake pads; they even marked it under “red” category that “needed to be changed immediately”. They quoted $323 for the front brakes only, and $323 for the back brakes; plus 29.99 for a air filter and 25.99 for the cabin filter (a freakin joke).I took the wheels off and checked the brake pads which the front brake pads had about 30% life and the rear brakes had 50%. I still changed them, along with the rotors and filters; With all the parts I spent $215.45.Toyota makes great vehicles, but the dealers are something else!

This place is a scam. They don’t tell you how much anything getting fixed is going to be. When asking a second scenario they can’t even quote you on anything simple. They need to call you back. With a separate quote. They can’t help anyone out plain and simple. It’s all commission

So right from Get-go, the West Coast Toyota staff were friendly, not fake, and accommodating. I think is Donnie greeted us . Aldo was our sales person and Stephanie was our finance person. They all want to do the right thing. I think you’ll have a good experience there. One thing I did give them feedback is to go over all the financials before we go to finance. We had a discrepancy and talked it out so, take your time, go through the numbers and you’ll have a good experience.👍🏻

Go see my man Michael Reyna. He helped my wife and I get into a new 4runner 4x4, besides the fact that we went in initially set on a Tacoma Off Road 4x4 PKG. He showed us what we wanted to see and accommodated is when we switched from the Tacoma, to the Tundra, and finally to the 4runner (3 of them) until we settled on the right one.Flavio the sales manager was a straight shooter, no frills type of guy and helped her the price we wanted on our trade in.Shawn, the finance manager made the paperwork easy and super efficient. I think we were with him for like Max 20 min, especial since it was 45 min pay closing time!The following day I brought in my SUV for a detail and wash and it was great. I dropped it off during lunch, the be shuttled me back to work and I picked it up at 6 pm after work. With only a minor issue, that initially couldnt find my paperwork and didnt get my SD card for the navigation, but there seemed to be some kind of miscommunication on their end. Nonetheless, I got my car keys and the car was ready to go; save for the fact that Im waiting on my amp to be taken out of my trade in.If youre in need of a new or used Toyota come check this place out!

Place is clean and roomy. Waiting areas are well spaced, they also provide cleaning supplies for your areas. Reminders on all sitting or waiting areas for safety precautions. Bathrooms are clean too! Always clean anytime of the day. Wifi connection is free. They used to have free coffee and snacks, but unfortunately because of COVID they had to stop it.

Beware of this place. Thomas assured me that after running my credit that they had a deal for me. When I drove down to the dealership I mislead to believe they had deal ready to go. They had me test drive the car only to come back with another salesperson Henry telling me they now need $12k down after Thomas led me to believe that $4k was good to go. Henry attempted to explain there misleading and lying ways but it was to late. I walked!! DO NOT GO FOR THEIR LIES HERE!!!
Do not step your foot in this place. They will bully you, shame you into buying a car. The sales guy at this placed ruined my dream car for me. I would not recommend buying your vehicle at this dealership. There are better dealerships out there who will treat you with respect and will work for you and with you to buy your car. Utterly disgusted with this dealership.

I been here before for my services but this time was a really bad experience I took in my Tacoma for a recall repair on 02/06/2021 and also for my oil change to be done and tires rotation picked up my truck on 02/09/2021Paper work says they did tire rotation but they did not did it!!! I know cause 1 of my sensors was bad (broken) and it was on the back tire after the tire rotation I suppose to be in the front but it still marks on the same back tire meaning they didn’t rotate my tires!!!!!I call 3 times already and left msgs but they won’t call me back!!!Now with this how do I know they really did my oil change? How do I know if they really change my oil filter? What a disappointment!!! .

I visited west coast toyota trying to get my first pick up truck i always want a toyota tacoma so I was very excited i though that I will finally put my hands on my dream truck I was so wrong this dealership wanted to take advantage of how short stock tacoma are this days and give a sky high deal out the door I was going to pay 59k with no upgrade no premium page I was getting a off road 4x4 truck this is ridiculous they add so much BS pls be careful

I bought a vehicle from this dealer two and a half years ago. Basically I was sold a lemon. I have had none stop problems with this car. I dont understand why this car was put on the lot for sale. I have attempted to get assistance from the dealership but have come up empty handed. This is my family vehicle. I was driving my daughter to cheer and the car completely shut off on me. Toyota fixed the issue after basically displaying a emotional breakdown outside the office and expressing the danger my daughter and I were put in. Im sure I am one in a few of the unlucky ones to have purchased a problematic vehicle compared to the rest of the dealerships customers but they did sell me the faulty vehicle therefore should give some assistance with a solution to the problem. I have made corporate aware of it and yet still I am paying for a going on three months stalled vehicle. At this point it is just sitting in my drive way. Do your research and do not relay on the dealership!
Took 4 hrs to get an oil change. Ridiculous to say the least. After 3 hrs with an appointment they hadnt even touched my car.
I ordered the Tacoma and it came in a couple weeks late which wasnt a big deal. Everyone I dealt with was nice and helpful. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
