Had astro van towed there after a heater hose broke, was charged 240. too put on a new heater hose on- was looking for a new mechanic close too the house, this isnt the place - HARRIS was EXTREMELY RUDE - Ive made copies of this receipt and show everybody where NOT TO GO the best advertising is word of mouth & Im advertising for HARRIS - Ive steered quite a few people away from this business & will continue too do so - will be advertising on nextdoor for HARRIS ..

Ive been coming to Viking for years for my smog tests. Conveniently located for Lakewood or east Long Beach residents. The owner is friendly and helpful. Ken is the main smog man and he knows his job well! Very quick and efficient!

Good service. Run by nice people. Had to get a DMV lamps & brake inspection and its getting harder to find certified places that can do it. Was lucky to find this place where not only did they do a thorough job at a reasonable price, but all the people who worked there were really pleasant.

Did a smog check here. The first time I came the machine was broken, but I made an appointment for a few days later and they did the test then quickly and for a discount.

Had my air conditioning for my 1999. Was expensive. Cars old. Smog costs almost $70. Owner is nice. Older repair shop.

Ive been coming here off and on for about 12 years and have found these guys to be trust worthy and transparent. Prices are fair and I have never been sold something my car hasnt needed. It is mom and pop here for sure and that is a real strength for this place, its one of the reasons I keep coming back.

Went for a smog test as a walk-in. Brought a book because we all know how long that can take. But they had me done and out the door before I finished the first chapter. Reasonably priced. Will be back next time.

I got my brake and light test here it was quick they were nice

Took my car here after Valvoline told me I had an issue with my oil pan. Said it was too much work and didnt even bother to look at my vehicle. Got it done same-day for a pretty low price with the auto shop in Signal Hill I used before I moved to this area.

Just went in to ask if they check tire pressure. Only one customer was there and he was already being helped. The guy was EXTREMELY RUDE. He told me to wait an hour! Wasnt expecting free and would have waited if it werent for his attitude Even the customer who was waiting was shocked at his nasty attitude. I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS. Called Allen tire around the corner and Jose was very polite. Went there and had wonderful service!

Called in talked to a guy he said come in I’ll reset the computer since you replaced the parts! Came in for that same guy to say “ disconnect battery and leave it off for 1 hour “THIS GUY SHOULD OF TOLD ME OVER THE PHONE AND NOT HAVE ME DRIVE DOWN HERE!

I came here for a oil change and he told me oh its not our fault if your car starts leaking I thought that was kinda shadey but I still did it ( should have followed my first mind ) and Ive never had a leak before. Now my car has a bad leak. Never going back !!

Paid 1000 for a new high performance radiator to be put in. When these radiators are ordered they come with brand new radiator caps. When this place installed my radiator they put in my old radiator cap which has overheated my car and now Im being faced with a blown head gasket (another thousand to 2000 dollar repair) because they stole a 12 dollar part from me.

I have been using him for my mechanical problems for quite a while hes very nice honest and truthful I would highly recommend him.!!!!!

Called for pricing on smog check and was given same pricing as when husband took car in. He was in and out in no time. Will return again for future smog check.

First and last time I come to this place. Terrible customer service. Harry, the guy in charge, literally tosses the paperwork in your face.

I usually go here and have had good experience with just smog check. However today I asked for my tires to be rotated. The Indian guy who was in charge came back after everything was done and said the transmission fluid was really dirty and needed replacing at a cost of $174. I asked him to show me because Id already had it done in April. He pulled out the dipstick and it was clean. To add insult to injury when I checked the tires they had not been rotated. When i tried to show tg he Indian man he got very defensive so I left. This place is ok for smog checks but do not trust them to do anything additional. Im my mind the man in charge is very dishonest.

The guy working the front desk was not nice. Didn’t say much was too busy being on the phone. He threw my receipt at me. Will not be going there again.

Total rip off, originally would charge me $61 for smog check but I dont pass and he charges me $51, telling me next time would be an additional $25 to check my vehicle.
