I normally dont give company reviews, but I MUST give credit where is credit is due! Midas has always been my favorite shop from KC to CA. However, this specific location in Long Beach, CA has been nothing but exceptional! I received awesome customer service since day 1 stepping into the store not sure what to expect from this location. Luis gave excellent customer service. I was greeted with a smile, he took time to explain the issue that was found with my car and made sure I was taken good care of, and even shared with me different payment options in understanding my financial limitations. I came in for a simple oil change, but I left as a returning customer for sure. I will definitely be sharing this location with all my friends.

Inappropriate and unprofessional. Their employee Joe used personal information to contact my GF and hit on her. She did not intentionally give her phone number to the employee outside of professional purposes. Hes contacted her numerous times and eventually she contacted the manager to handle his behavior. Inappropriate and unprofessional. Just do the job Midas.

ZERO STARS, i wish i had that option. In fact out of 5 i give this place a negative -1. OVERPRICED! this place is a scam, they need to be reported. If you dont no nothing about cars this is the worst place you can take your car. They will definitely take advantage of you. Trust me. I took mycar to get my serpentine belt replace, and they were charging me almost $200. I felt disrespected, he was trying to fool me. The belt costs like $35. Thank god i know about cars. I did my research and i took my car to different mechanics to make sure i was getting a fair price andsee if theyd agree with each other. I took my car to TDC Performance in 1015 E Anaheim St, Long Beach, CA 90813 and they got my belt replaced for $92. I even tip the mechanic $10 for being honest. I highly recommend TDC Performance. Trust me you wont be disappointed. This is my new spot.

This review is a little late, I apologize. I went to get my car (2015 Mercedes-Benz C300) to get it detailed on last month. David performed a walk-around with me of the car, pointed out the spots that the car had (I imagine is a liability issue to protect himself). He used a hi-powered white light and was one of the most thorough derailleurs I have encountered. Not only did he detailed my car to my expectations, but he also, did it an hour early. He stated that he was going to take 3 hours, but in turn took 2. Highly recommend this guy!!!

I always go here. Was referred to them by my personal mobil mechanic. The staff Kevin and Luis are awesome. Came here for an oil change and some other repairs I needed.They went above my expectations and did an awesome job. I have a hard time trusting mechanics but they dont push sales or unneeded service on me which I appreciate.

Refuced to service my van. Because of loose oil plug.and I might not afford the repairthere was nothing wrong with the plug.I even saved money doing the oil change .at other place..

My boyfriend and I are fairly new drivers and weve been coming to this Midas since car day one! Which was 2 yrs. ago! Not only do they work fast, but they take care of my car! They also always like showing us what is wrong with the car physically so we can understand. I cant see us going anywhere else

Outstanding service! Work has always been high quality and done in a timely manner as well as affordable pricing. After only 2 or 3 times there everyone that worked there knew my name. All courteous professional and friendly. Havent gone to any other places since I started going there. Customer service is on point. Id recommend this establishment to anyone looking to get work done on their cars.

I didnt even need a muffler!I got stranded in my mobility scooter, I needed to plug it in for ten minutes or so . I asked two other businesses and they both told me no. Anyone could clearly see my leg was in a cast and I was disabled and stranded!My scooter barely made it in the door at Midas. When I explained my dilemma, they were very accommodating. I will definitely take my vehicle here and recommend them to friends! Thanks Midas guys, you are the best!!

I had my car towed there because it was only 2 miles from my house. When I arrived, I received great service. They diagnosed my car quickly and even gave me a ride home. They explain everything in detail about the problem, the price, and labor. I will be returning there for all my car needs in the future and my husbands car as well.

Just take your car to the dealer. Customer service is great but fixed everything but the actual problem. Alot of guessing and no real diagnosis. 2000 forNothing. Alot of fix this & mabey this will fix your problem while you breaking your pockets on a guesstimate.

Was on the phone with Luis the other day, for 18 minutes with questions about my battery, and he walked me through the jump process; never once did he make me feel rushed or unimportant. Stopped by later that day for more details and the owner came out and spoke with me. I love these guys and trust them with my car always!

Seriously this was the best experience I have ever had with my car. I noticed my oil was leaking and I took my car in to a little auto shop I saw near my house to get it quoted. They told me it would be $6-$700 at the cheapest and that I needed to get it fixed ASAP before my car breaks down...... I decided to take it into Midas today and within one hour my car was completely fixed and it was FREE. There was no huge issue all they had to do was replace my oil and the plug, and they did it for no charge. Forever greatfull to them. Definitely the place to take your car. 5 stars!!!

I was in need of some brakes for my Honda Fit. Upon reading the reviews, I was skeptical about going to Midas on Anaheim Street but I knew that Midas has a great name when it comes to Brakes. I called Anthony and he was very pleasant on the line and he gave me a competitive price. Upon arriving at the shop, I shared with him the information about the bad reviews and asked him if I should still use his shop. He explained to me that everyone has opinions and mostly the customers with bad experiences tend to go and voice their opinions which I agree with him. This is why I am writing this review to let you know that this place has a first class operation. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a complete brake job. Anthony was very courteous and he knows what customer satisfaction is all about. If you give them a chance, you will always go back for service!

I already had my car run through diagnostics and knew what needed to get fixed and the person behind the counter decided to try and tell me I need to pay another 125 just to hear what I already know. Jackasses

Total rip off.I went to them for my last oil change and just found out that they charged me and likely didnt even do anything. The old filter was still on my car 3k+ miles later with a rusty rim and incredibly nasty black oil that was nearly run dry! They also said they topped the rest of my fluids, even though my power steering was left empty.

OVERPRICED, Horrible experience. Car broke down, so they added on a bunch of unnecessary, overpriced items without telling me after it was done. I didnt need $75 spark plugs to fix my starter, but they added it and charged me without asking me (in addition to ~$300 of other items). Additionally, they promised to pay for my rental car for 1 day, saying my car would be ready in 1 day. The next morning, they called tried to give me my car back, and when I refused (i was already on the way to work), they said I would be charged the extra day of the rental car. I got a call later that day saying my car would take another day of work, MEANING THEY TRIED TO GIVE ME MY STILL-BROKEN CAR TO SAVE PAYING 1 MORE DAY OF MY RENTAL. When I picked up my car after the second day, they still tried to charge me for the 2nd day of rental.Out of control.

Steer clear, we have taken our vehicles to this particular Midas for years for oil chages, recently we decided to have them check the brakes on our vehicle and they came back with a list of things that were wrong with them, and a rediculous price. I decided tob pick up my vehicle and take it to my workplace mechanic, who disagreed and showed me why he disagreed with what Midas said. I am not a brake expert but what he showed me was true and Midas was trying to rip me off. Workplace mechanic could not do the work at the time so I took to vehicle to a local brake shop who also disagreed. The 2 mechanics that I took my vehicle to after laughed and said that Midas was trying to rip me off. Both of them showed me my brake bads and what the people at Midas claimed was not the case. Sad sad sad that Midas employees would try to take advantage of a long time customer. I will not be back to this place and am actually reporting them to the California Air Resources Board which looks into fraudulent mechanic service shops.

Very friendly employees. Will work with you if youre on a budget. They offered to drop me off at home and pick me up while my cars being worked on.

I pull in and ask the mechanic who was holding an air pump if he could put air in my tire and if there was a charge. He told me he didnt know and to go to the office and ask. Inside the office requesting air, the guy asks where my car was parked. When he comes out and saw I was in a Mercedes he replied Oh, we charge $5.00
