Ellis auto is simply the best. Mario is the owner and stands behind his work. I have work done on three cars and the work is always exceptional. He is very reasonable and very prompt. He inspects every single job before you pick it . He has excellent customer service and his works speaks for itself. His Team does an amazing job . I high recommend using Ellis automotive. My trucks and cares look brand I am so grateful.

Take your business to Ellis Automotive at your own risk! First off, I’ll say, from the very minimal interaction I had with one of the technicians, he seemed pretty kind, but the “good” ends there. My experience with Ellis Automotive aligns with the review by reviewer Chronically Real.My hell with them began in the fall of 2020. I took my car to a tint shop to get some tint work done and they accidentally damaged the soft top. The tint shop was very forthcoming about their mistake and immediately offered to resolve and cover the damage. No biggie! The tint shop owner arranged for the repair to done at Ellis Automotive.Let me tell you about this sleazy shop . . .Chapter 1: Every time we set a date for the initial inspection (3x over almost a whole month), when I called to confirm, Alicia canceled on the day of (each time). On my fourth attempt, Alicia literally hung up the phone on me. I decided to just take a chance and drove about an hour to their previous location. When I arrived, the owner, Mario, was outside inspecting another vehicle. Another man came, inspected the top, and confirmed it had to be replaced. Mario took my information and said they’d get back to me to schedule an intake. They never got back to me, and for weeks, Alicia dodged all my calls. I let the tint shop owner know what was going on. Finally, Alicia called (it was now literally over a month later) and we agreed on a date.Chapter 2: I brought my car in and Alicia told me it’d be a few days. About a week later, no updates. I called, Alicia put me on hold, and then the call mysteriously dropped. I called back and no answer. A couple days later, Alicia called to tell me my car wasn’t ready but would be tomorrow. The next day, still not ready, but tomorrow. All in all, they had my car for a couple weeks.Chapter 3: I picked up my car one afternoon after work. It was raining and dark, so I couldn’t inspect the work. The next morning, I immediately noticed the work was done poorly and rain had seeped into my car. Due to the experience up until that point, I didn’t even bother to call and I just drove over there right after work to physically show them the car and ask them to address it. Alicia walked outside and took a look. She went back to talk to Mario. Mario then walked outside and I showed him . . . his response: “It was fine when we gave it to you.” I couldn’t believe he said that! We walked back inside and Alicia asked me, for the millionth time, to write down my information and she’d get back to me to schedule another intake. She never called back. Meanwhile, things continued to get worse with my car (especially with rain).Chapter 4: I called Ellis Automotive. Alicia picked up, put me on hold, and you guessed it: The call mysteriously dropped! For weeks, every time I called, no answer. I continued to vent to the tint shop, because it was now March 2021 and I was extremely frustrated. To test if my calls were being intentionally ignored, one day, I called and no answer, and then asked my friend to call from her phone. You guessed it: Alicia picked up. At that point, I no longer had the energy and time to deal with Alicia’s attitude and unprofessional behavior. I went to an amazing shop called R Speed (in Smyrna) and paid for an inspection. When the expert technicians at R Speed inspected, they refused to believe the work was done by professionals! To quote their conclusion: “The work was done completely incorrectly and unsafely.” I took the detailed inspection results to the tint shop owner. He suggested we go to Ellis Automotive together.Chapter 5: Today, I went to Ellis Automotive with the tint shop owner, and as I fully expected, Alicia acted clueless. I’ve had poor experiences before, but this is some top-shelf horrible service. At some point, I didn’t even say anything anymore and just let the tint shop owner arrange the next intake. Now, I have to wait until next week to see what the next chapter of hell looks like.I genuinely hope you have a better experience than I’ve had, but bring them your business at your own risk!

This was probably the best experience I’ve ever had in regards to automotive repair. We were heading out for a road trip that morning and hit some debris that was left on the highway, had to immediately pull over and were referred here by Carmax. The owner of this establishment (Mario) literally made miracles happen by ordering the parts we needed, they didn’t get shipped correctly, he continued to try, somehow got them delivered, and was able to have us back on the road by that evening. I cannot say enough good things about the service, the quality of work, and overall pleasant experience we had with them. You saved our trip, Mario!! You’re the best! Will always come here for any repair work I need and will continually recommend them. Great job, y’all. ❤️

First off, I must say that the team in the back does great work. My experience with the front office is what makes me resolved to never use this establishment again.My family has used this business four times because they do great work. In fact, when I started going there they didnt even have a front office. You drove to the bay and they helped you there. Ive even referred people to the business. This fourth time was my last time due to the owner and the office manager.Here were the issues:1. Day of estimate. I arrived before they opened and waited in my vehicle. The owner pulled up beside me and I gave him a. Few minutes to walk in and get settled before approaching the building. When going to the door, the office manager came out and asked if I was there for an estimate and asked me to wait in the car. No problem. I understand COVID-19 precautions. She enters the building and comes back out, takes pictures of my car, and asks if she can email me the estimate. I told her Id wait that it was no problem. She says, Well, I dont know how long youll be waiting. The owner just stepped out. I thought to myself, I literally just saw him walk IN not out. She walks in the office and five minutes later he comes out and gives me an estimate.2. Day of appointment. I was told that my car would take three days to complete. Made accommodations for that. Was asked to pay for service and parts upfront. Im a repeat customer, I have NEVER been asked to do that. I explained that to the office manager and she said Its policy. Ok. Im paying with a credit card and there is a 3% service charge for running your card. I explain to her that we dont want to be charged a service fee twice. So she explained that it was due to the vendor they use. I ask to speak to the manager and specifically tell her, I know you are just doing your job. She calls him on the phone, instead of letting me speak to him, and says that Im there and I dont want to pay for parts upfront. I explained to her, while she was on the phone, thats not what I was saying - that I was only referring to the two service charges. She never corrected herself or explained to him what I was actually saying. Because I like their work, I went ahead and paid for the service and parts upfront. Upon leaving the building, I see the manager and explain to him that they way she conveyed what I was saying was inaccurate and I wanted to clear that up. His response..two thumbs up. No apology. No explanation. Nothing.3. We left messages for the owner regarding the repair a couple of times during the week. No return phone call. This is not a huge operation. A return phone call is not out of the realm of possibilities.4. Day of pickup. This is day four not day three as I was originally told. Only informed of the extra day on day three (afternoon of day three to be exact). On day three, office manager called to say that car would be ready at 5:30 PM the following day. Please check the hours of operation, they close at 5:30. We ask if we can pick it up at 4 PM. Office manager says she will see and give us a call back. No return call that day or the next. We finally call them at 3 PM. No answer. No return call. Since we hadnt heard otherwise, we assume it will be ready at 4 but wait until 4:30 PM just to be safe. Car isnt ready. Office manager says that the technician isnt there to finish it. Then accuses my mother of yelling - she just speaks loudly.No apology for the day late service, service fees (thats HIS cost of business - pick another vendor), or no returned calls. Totally unprofessional. The owner has become aloof and irresponsible and the office manager is a nightmare to deal with.There are other body shops in the area. Skip this one and go somewhere where you are appreciated.

Friendly Aleshia and Mr. Ellis.I had 1 ISSUE WITH MY CAR AFTER PURCHASE TOLD ELISHA N MR.ELLIS TOOKCARE OF IT.IM HOOKED ON THOSE 2 I TOOK MY GRANDDAUGHTER THERE N SHE PURCHASED A VEHICLE N TRUST ME SHE LOVES HE ALTIMA.THEY CAN DO MULTIPLE RESTORING TO UR CAR.REPAIRS PAINTING.LEATHER SEATING.ELLIS IS GENUINELY A BUSINESS OF HONESTY. I have never had better customer service in my life. The employees are the BOMB!! I was impressed by the way the young lady at the desk spoke to her customers even I er the phone while I waited. They are friendly, Professional, and most courteous! I don’t usually recommend companies, but I rated these guys at the very top!! The work that they did was Superb!!!

My front bumper was mildly damaged earlier this week and I had never been to a body shop before. After shopping around a bit I was amazed at the high price of what I thought was a simple fix. After checking in here, I was greeted with a friendly smile and given several options that were very detailed but easy to understand. In the end I chose a simple fix for my bumper and I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the price was. It was obvious that I knew nothing about how much a bumper fix would cost and Ive always been warned to be wary of auto repair shops. But everything about Ellis AR was reassuring from the price to the service and I happily received my car back a few hours later good as new. I highly reccomend anyone then to anyone in need of fairly priced auto repairs.

Worst experience ever!!!! All I needed fix was my motorcycle tank and two be painted. For two weeks I kept getting lied to about when it would be done even paid in advance. Apologies after apologies but unfinished work. Finally got a guarantee that it would be done on a Monday morning so I give it to about 2pm that day to be on the safe side I showed up owner tell me he’s not going to be able to finish it because he doesn’t have time that he’s losing money. No Sir you just lost a customer way more value than money!!!! I don’t usually write reviews but this here took the cake!!!!
