My favorite auto parts store. Im in there pretty much everyday. Nikki the manager is super cool in commercial sales.

I just had to write a review because.... This place has two of the kindest men Ive ever dealt with in a auto part store. They go above and beyond the call of duty. I went in the Lincoln Park location looking for front and back rotors for my Equinox on Saturday. Chris greeted me so nicely as I walked in door. He let me know the my rotors had to be ordered and that they would be in Monday at 10am. I went to in Monday, Chris was there... He let me know that there was an issue and the rotors was not in. One of there other stores did not was to release the rotors even though they had 6 in stock. Another Gentleman by the name of Ryan heard what was happening and stepped right in. Ryan immediately called the other store and ask why they not releasing the rotors, when they have 6 in stock? He called his DM and they released the rotors. Ryan assured me that the rotors would be in the next day at 1pm. Chris called the next day to let me know that the rotors was in. A couple hours later Ryan called to let me know they were there... Now thats what I call Great Customer Service!!!! Thanks Ryan and Chris you guys are Awesome!!!!

Went there yesterday afternoon and the young skinny lady with glasses who works there completely ignored me while she talked to another employee while I stood there waiting to get rung up. After 10 or 15 minutes of me standing there looking like an idiot I finally put the merchandise down and walked out and went across the street to OReilly. If this is the kind of service and unprofessionalism that I have to look forward to then I definitely wont be going back.

Meh.. just a place to get cleaning supplies, car battery or antifreeze.. but if you need real engine or car parts.. dont get them here.. more than likely theyll sell you the wrong one..

Had exactly what I needed... 3/4 deep well 1/2drive impact socket... needed deeper than craftsman... Working on weedeater shaft...

Typically a good auto parts store. During my previous visit, employees were arguing loudly with one another directly behind the sales counter.

Was at the store in Lincoln Park, MI on Fort St. I was looking at a product and heard an employee tell someone they had to leave. Looked up and realized the punk kid didnt have a mask and was being kicked out. Good job, employee lady!

Okay so I got to say this is the best advanced auto parts store that Ive ever been to. I had a problem with my AC looking for a fuse. The tech was basically a mechanic he was able to figure out that I had a problem with my air conditioning. And then he helped bridge the connection for the AC to prove that it does work and just needed to be filled with freon. We went to the whole process of filling it up and I have functional AC and there was no problems. Its hard to find a place these days where someone will go far to help you.

This location does not support Americans with disabilities. I am protected as an American citizen by this statute. I was absolutely harassed by 2 women that worked there even after explaining to them i had a medical condition that prevented me from wearing a mask. I was threatened that they would not help me, thankfully the only competent employee they have was working this day, thank you Nicole. Learn the law ladies and shut your mouth next time. This is America

4 employees, 3 without masks 1 with it pulled down under her nose on 8/15/2020. Signs all over the store that masks are mandatory, yet no employees were wearing them and 1/2 the customers were not either. Screw this place, I will never buy from advanced auto again!

I went in to purchase new windshield wipers for my 2008 Ford Ranger. James S. Was very polite and helpful to confirm the size of the wipers and the best quality wipers. He went out of his way to help me install them as well. I explained to him Ive never swapped wipers on a vehicle before. He did the passenger side and I followed along on the driver side. It was great to learn something so simple with out being judged!

Understocked never have the parts that you need what good is a distributor cap, rotor putton with no wires and to beat all it was parts for a GM 5.7 one of the most common motors in the US

Had a bad battery and they fixed me up right away

They do not charge batteries unless they are out of the vehicle even if they tell you do over the p hi one when you call and drive all the way up there... They do test in vehicle thou and are very nice guys!

This place needs some help. They have very motivated managers but the employees are terrible. Inexperienced, unprofessional, untrained and unmotivated. After waiting in an endless line (yes even at midnight this place Id packed) youll get to talk to someone that has no idea what a brake pad is.

I actually made a mistake and came here looking for auto zone. The staff were very helpful and honest about pricing.

When I called they said how can then help me as I proceeded to ask for a part they told me they couldnt help me cause the system was down all day. 5 minz later I walked in the store and everything seem to be working fine. I guess thats what they tell people when they dont want to answer phone calls

A little to ghetto.

Went to test an alternator before buying it and the girls in the store didnt even know how to hook up the part to test it or how to operate the machine. Maybe get some people who know what theyre doing to work there.... Will not return

Called ahead for parts and was told that they were in stock. After arriving I still had to wait 30 mins for a parts runner to get back from 2 other stores with my parts that were in stock. Dont mislead people. Its either there or not.
