Dryer stopped working so we went to purchase a new one for a little less than 600$ from Home Depot. Lo and behold the wrong dryer was sent. Couldn’t wait another month for them to deliver another. So back to the drawing board. I saw the Dix appliance van in a driveway a few blocks away. Called the office Wednesday and by Friday our service Tech Randy was out by 1pm. I receive text confirmation and arrival through dispatch. Randy definitely is a gem. Quickly diagnosed the problem we needed a (belt & pulley) parts and labor & service call $140
This is a great company there so professional they came in check my problem order to part and were back expeditiously to repair it. My repair mans name was Tanner who was wonderful such a nice young man Very professional courteous and knowledgeable did a wonderful job
The person that came was very knowledgeable with what he was doing. And listened to what the customer was saying. I am very happy and well recommend to this company anybody and also well ask for this company back, if anything goes wrong.

Randy fixed both my oven and dryer in one visit. He explained all repairs along the way with pricing. Very friendly and professional! Drain pump went on our washer. Repair was through DTE so I cant comment on price, but I will say that Dennis was friendly and completed the job well. Just had to wait a week for the part and that was not their fault. I like the text feature to let the customer know who is on the way.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this company. They came to repair my dishwasher in which a part had to be ordered. A week later without use of my dishwasher, the technician Tyler came out to replace the part. Tyler reinstalled the dishwasher and is now unsecured inside the opening of the cabinet. I had to reschedule again with DTE because American Dix Appliance refused to come back out to fix it.After having to reschedule again and according DTE, the company has 30 days to correct it. So after waiting again, taking another day off work, they come to fix it.The technician Randy looked at and said he would return with brackets to properly install the dishwasher. Right after he left, I then receive a call from the owner of the company absolving themselves of all responsibility. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!
Had an awesome experience. Our technician Michael communicated very well and arrived right on time. Turns out the issue with our dishwasher was minor, but wasnt warranty related, but he was nice enough not to charge us for the visit.

It took about 2 months for our dishwasher to be repaired. 2 guys came out the first time, they asked me for vinegar to run through the dishwasher and said they were ordering parts. About 2 weeks later, we hear back from them and make an appointment for them to come replace parts.. a guy shows up ready to diagnose, asking whats the problem. This guy had no parts, and no idea why he was out to our house. He asked who was here before him, and didnt even know who his own coworkers were. So this guy orders parts also. Next guy comes out, he tells us we have to take our floor boards up to pull the dishwasher out, that he cant pull the dishwasher from the wall because of liability issues? That he will come back another day. Total waste of time AGAIN. No floorboards needed to come up, the legs on the dishwasher just needed to be raised and dishwasher pulls out. We didnt hear back from them for over 2 weeks, they said they were still waiting on parts. How were they still waiting on parts when some guy who couldnt pull a dishwasher out was at my house with parts? About a week later we heard back from them finally, a guy who actually knew what he was doing came out and fixed it no problem. He was confused about why the other guy told us he couldnt pull our dishwasher out also. We got these guys thru DTE, Id never in my life use them again.

HORRIBLE, UNRELIABLE company! Said that they would be there between 10a-2p - took off from work and they NEVER SHOWED! Rescheduled and they said that they would call 1/2 hr before. Got call at 12:18, they arrived at house at 12:31 and left at 12:37 before I could get home (all documented by text messages and Ring doorbell). Then YELLED at me on the phone that it was MY fault for not being home after I specifically asked for them to call so we could drive home both at the time of scheduling the appointment and right after receiving the first text. DO NOT USE! ATROCIOUS customer service. Also sent compliant to DTE. I really hope that stop using this appalling company. However, Dennis, the technician is wonderful! When this company goes out of business, someone should definitely hire him.
Technician came out and could not figure out the problem with my washer so he said he would take the video and show the owner and get back with us in a week or so..WHAT??I need my washer.I got on you tube and low and behold I figured out the problem.I ordered the part and fixed it myself for $19.16.I will call DTE and let them know they need to find new company that knows how to repair appliances.

This company went above and beyond for me. Thank you to Bob the manager. GE screwed up royally on the delivery of my replacement dryer. They had the freight carrier calling me directly to set up a delivery that was not meant for me. I took the day off any everything. I had had a 1.5 months debacle that could have ended so sour. BUT this company worked with me and got my replacement dryer and made arrangements to have it delivered to me the next day they received it knowing what a hard time I had had with GE. They have my absolute recommendation and respect for giving 1000 times better customer service than GE gave me! Thank you! AND now I finally have a working dryer!
I waited all day (1-21-19) for the repair man. Some how I miss the guy. I was told they would show up between 11am- 4pm. While I was maybe in the restroom or laundry room for 10 minutes, I miss the guy and the phone call. I called the shop and was given attitude.I ve done my own repairs in the past, buying parts from them. I guess they dont need the business .Never again.

Guy comes to my home and looks at my washing machine, doesnt take anything apart, doesnt test anything. Then proceeds to tell me how I need a new machine because the transmission in mine is gone and it cost more to replace than a new machine. 20 mins after he left, I fixed it myself. The water pump clip had come loose and thats why it was not draining. TERRIBLE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Horrible the representative is very rude the technician did not wait for someone to arrive after we have been waiting for parts since January here it is February the middle of the month very disappointing with this company would not recommend them to anyone
One of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with. We called the company to our home in June, it is now October and our refrigerator is still broken. The first tech that came out said he would order the part and be back in a week. It took a month for the company to get the part in and send the repairman back to our home. The part failed again within a week. This is when the same tech returned and replaced the same part but this time the part somehow came in within a week. The fridge failed again and a new tech was sent, who explained a different part was needed and he would be back within a week to replace it. It has been two weeks since then and my husband called the company today and they cannot find the order.

Have used this company for many years, for stove, washing machine and dryer repairs. Always quick and professional, never had to call them back for bad repairs never been disappointed . Recommend them highly!

I called DTE because my flap would not close on my icemaker. technician came out to fix frig. told me he had to order parts. next visit told me he needed another part. next visit never showed up. I called office and they said they could not contact him. After three hours they called and said his truck broke down. next visit he came and said that I needed a dispenser control board which was not covered by DTE protection plan and he replaced the solenoid. I called the office and spoke with the manager to confirm. I decided to order board and fix it myself. Then I started to google flap wont close. I decided to take the cover off of the door and this is what I found. This technician never did anything to my refrigerator but cause me grief. This is the pic of the solenoid (rusted). This is how they treat black people in the city. I can only imagine how much money DTE is wasting using this company. I would have given NO star but it is not possible.
Very unprofessional. Technician misdiagnosed repair first time, had to order a different part come come back a week later. Office qouted $100 for parts and labor, then technician tried to charge $166. He said it was because the secretary read the wrong estimate when she left the message. Then the technician went further to say that I should have known she was reading me the wrong amount because the heater costs more than the thermostat.... as if I am supposed to know that. The owner also told me he would take me to civil court if I didnt want to pay the $166. It was all very unprofessional, he did subtract $20 from labor because of the error eventually, but I would never allow them back in my house again for sure.
This is the worst company ever i have been waiting for them to fix my fridge for 2 months. All i ever hear from the rude secretary is that they are still waiting for the parts to come in. The first technician ordered parts that came broken. So he declared my refrigerator unfixable. My refrigerator was at least working a little before i opened my door for them. I wish that DTE drops this company because they are horrible. What kind of company leaves a household without a working refrigerator for 2 months. Why am i paying for a service that doesnt work.
American Dix just left my home and my washer is repaired. The repair man could not have been more pleasant and fixed my washer within 15 minutes. The appt. was set up thru DTE and I read some very poor reviews about them. My experience could not have been better. I would recommend them to anyone. Sincerely Mrs. Martin.
Unbelievably poor customer service, they missed first appointment, misdiagnosed repair the second appointment and tech scratched the top of my dryer. Complaints into DTE and find it amazing that such a large company contracts out a company such as this, DTE is making them replace the top of the dryer however now I have to wait 2 more weeks for the correct part. Never again, get the warranty through home depot or Lowes as the DTE repair program utilizes substandard contractors for work that is not directly associated with gas or electrical service or in their wheelhouse.
This repair co. was assigned to me thru DTE. Bob arrived in timely fashion, was very cordial, petted the dog, & proceeded to get to fixing my stove. In conversation I learned that I was already his 3rd customer & it was only 9:20 am. He diagnosed & repaired the stove in less that 30 min. It was the igniter .... he had the part & there was no wait time :) Very happy w the service received.

This company has horrible customer service. After repetitive phone calls and speaking to numerous employees, they came out and repaired my dishwasher, which took 3 weeks. Then after they left, i discovered they had broken the door so i called them back and they said we did it!!! I cant believe abc warehouse uses them for their warranty repairs!!
