My vehicle suddenly started overheating as I was driving through the outskirts of Lima. I didnt know it, but my tensioner belt had broken. I was three miles from Frails Garage, so I let my engine cool down and then drove it about 1/2 mile at a time, stopping to turn off the engine each time (it took me almost two hours to go 3 miles.) I parked in a lot down the street from the garage and walked the rest of the way. When I arrived at Frails, I learned they were backed up about three weeks with so much work. Even so, Dan drove me back to my car and looked under the hood, which is when he noticed the belt. He told me to drive the car to his garage and ordered the part as soon as we got there. The part arrived within a half hour and he replaced the belt in a matter of minutes and sent me on my way home so I could join my daughters 21st birthday dinner. My car purred all the way home, the thermostat never measuring hotter than normal. It was truly a huge relief. During a time when I see so many people hating on each other for every little thing they say or do, it sure was heart warming to be treated like a family member by people I had just met minutes ago. My sincere gratitude to the Frail family, and obviously I recommend this garage with the full 5 stars to anyone who needs a vehicle serviced.

I’ve taken my vehicle to Dan twice now. I was very pleased with how well my car and I were treated. Dan and staff went to extra efforts to resolve the issues, were knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend Dan Frail Auto.

Not only did they have my brothers car for a week before telling him it was useless unless he paid $2300 to fix it, but when I took my car in they said they would charge me $800 for all the fixes it needed. I took mine for a second opinion and the second garage charged me $260 for the same repairs. When my brother called in about his car afterward, they said he owed them $140, $70 for diagnosing my car and $70 for diagnosing his. They didnt bother to tell ME I owed them something but put it upon him to pay my charges. Then it took them a week to finally deposit the check for $140 because it was cold out. Very unorganized, takes a long time for repairs, and they seem to have a habit of overcharging.

They were amazing and patient with me. If you want an honest experience, this is the place.

Just started going here about a year ago. Love the communication that they’ve given me and the great results of their work.

Didnt even want to give them one star but had to had to to give my review.they are very unprofessional and rude.. they told me to drop my car off in the morning for an alignment and said it would be done when I got off work at 5pm.. I dropped it off the night before and went there at 5pm the next dayand the only thing they did was rotate my tires and said they couldnt get to it and then got rude with my girlfriend. because we had to rent a car to drop ours off to them so they would have to the entire day and had to have it back by six that same day.. they didnt care.. their word is garbage.

Fixed my car with a potentially catastrophic issue in a timely manner and a price that was much better than expected! She’s running better than ever!

Ive been taking my vehicles to Dan for years. If its work I cant do at home, I call Dan. I dont trust anyone else to work on my vehicles. Have tried other places, but came out extremely disappointed. If you want the job done right, Dan is the person to do it.
