10/10 recommend!! I first just wanna say thank you for the wonderful service I received on 10-01-2021. Staff was nice, service was grate, not a long wait they was getting people in and out. I was helped by the manager and he helped me more than he realized and I am forever grateful. God bless you sir! Mavis on highway 1 in Lexington is great! The staff is always very nice and helpful. They keep me informed on my vehicle progress. They always answer my questions clearly. They have never tried to over sale me, which I hate. I feel very safe taking my car to them and know I wont be taken advantage of. I highly recommend Mavis on #1 Hwy.

I wish I could give them 0 stars.My husband took our truck to Mavis to get an alignment last week. When we recieved the truck back, it would not start. After being very rudely spoke to by the front staff, we were told that we would have to wait until the next day for someone to look at it. We brought in a running truck that only needed an alignment and received a broken truck that didnt start. After being pushy with the store manager, he helped us replace the starter (because the manager felt that was the problem) in the parking lot. Over an hour later we realized that the battery terminal was messed up, NOT the starter. The battery terminal was fine before we went in there so Im a little confused on why the techs were messing with that when we brought it in for an alignment.After driving the truck for a few days, we realize that the alignment was not done properly and the truck was still pulling. The wheels when pointed straight were all wacky. So, we called Mavis and scheduled an appointment for today at 9am. At 10:27am, I receive a call from my husband (who took the truck to Mavis while I was at work). My husband tells me that the truck slipped while on the vehicle lift and a brake line came off. Being the patient man he is, my husband told them to put it back in place and to please bleed the brakes. They refused. They said we had to take it somewhere else (to a different shop). This is ridiculous!!I have called corporate and they said a regional manager will be reaching out. Thank goodness because this shop is run by rude, incompetent employees.

I would not go anywhere else. Mavis Tire on main had the best communication, costumer service, prices, and didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need. This will be my 2nd time coming here and both times they have worked with me on price and been very efficient with their work. I very strongly recommend them to anybody needing some mechanic work. 100/10

Best experience today. Got a flat tire at work and didn’t have a spare. Brought the free wheel up to mavis and all their bays were packed full! The guys were working super hard but still took the time to plug my tire in less than half an hour. Really great service and really amazing receptionist. I will recommend this place to all of my Lexington friends!

Wouldn’t recommend this place. I had an alignment and new tires. Waited for over an hour without AC. The next morning I went to head to work but one of the new tires was flat and the other was leaking. The lugnuts were way over torqued. I was late for work because I had to use my spare. Then I had to take it back in after work, waited for another hour. No one took responsibility they just said it was a manufacturer defect. If they knew this about these tires you would think they would check them better. I’ve never had 2 new tires immediately go flat. They tried to charge me for a “nicer” tire because they didn’t have another one to replace the defective tires they sold me. I will say at least they didn’t end up charging me for the replacement. I wouldn’t go back there.

I’m writing this review specifically for the Mavis on Hwy 1 in Lexington as I have not used any of the other locations. My husband and I both purchased tires from them in the past 6 months. The staff is friendly, professional and they are not pushy at all with service & maintenance recommendations. They also have competitive prices from what I’ve seen when compared to larger companies or dealerships. We also get our oil changes and tire rotations there (the rotations are free) I would absolutely recommend them.

The employees behind counter are nice and friendly.Only problem I had is thatAfter I paid for my completed service, I then had to wait 25 minutes for a mechanic to drive my car around front .My car literally sat in a bay for no reason for 25 mins . thus making my stay at Mavis OVER 2 HOURS ...for a flat tire .I had a timed appointment for A Tire change . ...it took over 2 hoursAND THEY WERE NOT BUSY AT ALL !3 customers before me ..AMand already being worked on

Had oil change done and did not have appointment. Took a little longer than usual but good service. Clean place. Would use again next time.

I took my brand new GMC Sierra for its first oil change at 4000 miles to the dealership. They failed to tighten the oil filter and 2 days later I noticed this on a Sunday. Mavis discovered this error that could have been disastrous. They did not charge me. In the last 15 years I have taken approximately 10 years for a lot of service and never once have they not delivered with outstanding service with k oedge and expertise.

End of the day save before business trip. Mavis was solidly booked this afternoon, but the manager, Steve, readily agreed to complete a tire repair. This was certainly not convenient for the staff but they stick it out past closing. This just validates why Ive been a customer for 25 years.

The lady behind the desk was extremely helpful, the service was quick and thorough, all together a great experience. I will be a repeat customer.

We purchased a new JCB Backhoe and drove our Big Tex trailer across the state to pick it up. Just outside of town, two trailer tires blew. It was near closing time when we called; however, your sales associate Jamie insisted that we stop by. He quickly confirmed the tires were in stock and had them changed out in no time. He even gave us a price match discount! Its folks like Jamie and his team that give Mavis Tire and Brakes a stellar reputation!

If you take your vehicle anywhere else in the area you are seriously missing out! The entire staff here is beyond helpful and extremely friendly. I had my wheel bearings replaced along with a few other mechanical issues that would have left my vehicle disabled! Not only did they fix everything quickly, they Informed me of how I could prevent the problems in the future and they even picked me up and dropped me off ( thanks Leon)! Went here to get all 4 tires changed. Customer support was pretty good and their prices are unmatched (phenomenal). I did have to wait a little bit longer than I had expected, but sometimes they have to put extra work in to make sure your vehicle is good to drive. Looking forward to doing further business with them.

This is second time Ive dealt with Mavis and its employees. Both times, it was under adverse conditions and the service could not have been more efficient and your employees sympathetic.

We have 3 vehicles and the Lexington Mavis services all of them! We continue to use Mavis because of the quality of their work and the excellent customer service we receive.

The staff at Mavis in Lexington are great people who know their customers and their vehicles. They are very knowledgeable about their products and are honest too. They dont try to pressure you into buying any product or service that you dont need. They are also accommodating. I was able to drop in without an appointment and get tires, an alignment, and an oil change in one visit. I have trusted them for years with my vehicles and like the small town, friendly customer service they provide......10 Stars for Mavis in Lexington, SC!!!

The manager at this location (Steve) is always trying to help. They are one of the few places that will allow you to ring your own tires in and they will mount them. All the employees I have dealt with have been helpful. I have brought 2 different cars for mounting and balancing 4 tires each. I brought my girlfriends car in when she had a flat and they took care if it as soon as possible, I had them change rotors and brakes in the front and the car stops a lot faster than before. I just recently had my truck done there with 4 new tires on new rims and an alignment. Like I said, just all hard working people always trying to help.

I called asking about a suspecting leak in my tire and manager Steve told me to swing by. He took care of my tire and checked the others, too. Service was quick and divine. Steve was so energetic and polite, I walked away wondering if he wakes up to singing birds. Nobody can be that happy! Whatever! Mavis marveled me!

Mavis has become the place I take my vehicles to for tires and brakes. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They always do what they say they will do, have fair prices and dont try to upsell me on things that I dont need or the most expensive tires they have. I def recommend.

Picked up a shard of metal in a tire at 3:30pm and called. They said they would make sure we didnt get left before they closed. Drove directly there, they got us in, and we left with a new tire all within the last hour they were open today.Staff was _extremely_ helpful and courteous.Would highly recommend them and Ill definitely be return customer!

I am very satisfied with the service I was provided. Went for a bad tire, which Firestone told me needed to be replaced. Mavis was able to plug it and have everything done in a timely manner. Representatives at the counter were very respectful and professional. I highly recommend them for all of your automotive needs.

This place was amazing! I noticed a nail in my tire when leaving work. I had to stay late and looked online and this was the only place open. I called and he said he couldnt get to it that night. I told him Id have to see if someone could pick me up because my wife had just put our daughter down to bed and couldnt leave the house to come get me. The manager said if someone couldnt get me that he could make sure I got home. One of his techs was just leaving and lived in the Red Bank area and he was sure that he could take me home. They had my car dont first thing the next morning and were more than friendly and helpful. This may just be my new normal place!

Great place, caring staff. Took my Jeep liberty there and got four new tires for around 400 bucks. My wifes dodge journey was losing tire pressure and they filled her tires free of charge and they were actually concerned about both of our vehicles. Great phone contact, great service. Busy place, but thats because these people do the job right.

I called Mavis because I was having problems with one of my tires. I asked if there was a wait and I was informed they would be glad to work me in . I asked if it would be better to just drop it off and they said that would be best if I didn’t want to wait. I dropped my vehicle off, and not only did they repair my tire but they checked other stuff as well and called me to let me know what they found. I greatly appreciate them not doing anything besides repairing my tire before discussing it with me first. I highly recommend Mavis for all of your car care needs. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great customer service!

Went to get my tires balanced and left with a worse ride then I came with and was told they couldn’t do anything about it.

Ive taken 2 of my vehicles here for several different reasons (oil change, tune up, brakes, ect) I also, recently took a vehicle my daughter purchased there & the service we received was nothing short of superior! They went above and beyond to check everything out for us. I cant tell you enough how much we both appreciated it, & as a Mom how much better I felt getting it all looked at knowing my baby was going to be driving it. Not only have they been cheaper than several other shops, but their treatment of customers is invaluable! I highly recommend them to everyone!

Everytime Im there Im always treated with kindness and respect. Really good prices on there services. They get you in and out as fast as they can. Which is quite quick compared to other places. Always really clean too. Definitely recommend.

My experience today was fantastic! I was greeted warmly and professionally when I went in for a tire repair. I made an appointment and then changed it to an earlier date and they were very accommodating. Steve was very friendly and made suggestions for other services I needed, but was not pushy in the least. Thanks guys!!

Needed new tires on my new to me Jeep Grand Cherokee. They did a great job and told me to come back in a day to make sure everything was good. So glad they did because one of the tires wasnt balanced, but they fixed it right up, no questions asked. Very courteous staff!

Although it is convenient getting my car serviced here, ( I live 5 minutes away) the last 2 visits took well over 2 hours even when I would make an appointment for an oil change. Whats the point in making an appointment if its first come first serve? I also came during the week when I thought they wouldnt be too busy. Ill try another place next time

Just got my oil changed. Excellent crew! Never going anywhere else!!!!

Made an appointment for two new tires. They had my car for over 3 hours before they even started on it, with the man at the counter saying it would only take 30 minutes once they started. Took almost another hour after that because I ended up needing an alignment and the best they could do for wasting my only day off with my husband, who had to drive me back and fourth 3 different times, was $20 off the alignment, which is only $10 more than the coupon offered online to anybody. Also, $470 for two of their brand tires seems pretty expensive for my CR-V. My husband had them order over $1100 worth of tires for him to have put on the next day but he cancelled after my experience. If I would have gotten a call that they were running behind before I drove back up there then I would probably not have been upset but Im pretty sure they just forgot about my order. Nice people, but I probably wont go back.

I came in to get my rear tires replaced. The size of tires I ordered was a bit to big for my car. They were extremely quick to help me, and I believe his name was Steve, found me a better sized tire for the time being and helped keep it in my budget. I highly recommend this store.

They provided me with fast service at a reasonable price. Moreover, they are responsible persons. I got a flat tire when I read a book with my son at the Lexington Public Library just next to the Mavis, so I had no choice but to choose to go to Mavis. I had only waited for less than an hour until they fixed it. After several days, I got a tire pressure problem on the same tire. I do not exactly know what the problem was, however, they told me that it was a different problem with the previous one and fixed it in 20 minutes without an additional charge. The staff and the mechanic I have met there were kind to me. It was a great experience.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VECHILE HERE FOR AN ALIGNMENT.Installed four new tires eight months ago,and had a alignment done here and they made adjustments on the rear and the machine said it was aligned,but with in the eight months my rear tires are bald.Went back to try and see what happened,they checked the alignment again and it was out a little but not enough to eat my rear tires.They handed me that bs line about its because i havent rotated my tires,so i took my van to Kyzers Brake And Alignment,and when i showed Tim the print out from the original alignment and the check they did,he said the rear toe was way out.Tim aligned the front and the back again,and now its perfect.Mavis said they have thier alignment machine checked evey month,so even tho it was in the green it wasnt right and they refused to refund my money for the alignment of replace my two rear tires so dont waste your time or money
