The staff at this location, specially the sweet young lady working the morning of September 3rd 2021, provided so much personal ownership of my online order. They called to make sure I got exactly the donuts I needed to make a beautiful table at the baby sprinkle I was hosting. The letter donuts were a big conversation piece. Our party of 20 knocked out 40 donuts no problem :)

Good donuts, good coffee, clean space, and Jaden is maybe the most pleasant, positive, professional, patient, courteous, fast and efficient people Ive ever encountered in a retail environment.

Daylight Donuts in Liberal Kansas is a perfect stop of you live fresh donuts. Its nice that they open at 5 am for us early travelers!

So the last time I visited this location I had a terrible experience.Today 11/19/20 is a new day, a new associate behind the counter. What a pleasant young lady. She was very welcoming pleasant and glad that I was there as a customer. Its very rare these days to have such an experience. I hope she gets recognized by the management. Shes the type Id pay just a little more to keep her around cause shes good for business.👏🏾👏🏾

By 9AM on a Sunday there wasn’t hardly anything to choose from. Make more maybe?

We had been going to the daylight donuts in Bonner for years and have never been disappointed. We moved and this one was much closer, so we decided to give it a try. Some of the worst donuts we have ever had. They were so dry and dense, and there were pieces of hardened icing on the donut. There was no way that these were fresh, and they honestly tasted like they were two days old. I’ve had better donuts from Walmart. It’s was also almost $17 for a dozen donuts compared to the $10 at the Bonner locations.

Terrific donuts and friendly folks. The selection wasn’t the best when I visited at 10am on a weekday, however, they had plenty of maple bars and glazed donuts which is all that matters.

Two men without masks filling their coffee kid behind the counter asked me to pull my mask up. Have been going in there for 6 years for coffee and my kids donuts every Sunday morning. Will never go back communist loving donut peddlers.

My favorite place to go after work .. always grabbing some donuts before heading home. I love all the options they always have available !

Never open during posted hours. Always end up driving to several locations trying to find one that’s open when they’re supposed to be. I guess, if I want Daylight Donuts, I’m going to have to get them somewhere out of the KC metro.

Daylight donuts used to be one of our favorite donut stores in Lenexa but unfortunately the quality has been steadily going downhill over the last couple of years. The donuts have gotten smaller, less icing and what is there is often melting off the donut. The donuts often taste stale. They are not made on site anymore so we wondered if they are freezing them and this has led to a drop in freshness. Overall a big disappointment.

Today morning, I went there and ordered a simple cinnamon roll. I went to check out and when she told me the price, I was blank for a moment, it was $5.46 (just 1 single cinnamon roll- nothing special). I felt like I was robbed. I still purchased it by thinking it must be special. I just tried and it was completely blend taste and did not taste cinnamon at all. Waste of money and never going back. Ripped off.

Over-priced, dry, and often sold out of basic donuts.A dozen donuts is almost $12!!! 🤤😲😵First trip was a flop.Decided to try again. 😕Awful experience and once we got home with the donuts, they were dry and hard, all before 8:30am.The store only sells donut holes by the pre-filled bag of a dozen. On the first visit we bought 3 bags for our fam, once we got home we realized one bag only had 5 or 6, and all the donut holes were crusty feeling and dry, so I called to let them know. The lady who answered, apologized and said shed write our name down and wed be able to get a FREE bag with our next purchase. That in itself was off-putting, considering we did not get everything we paid for, that day, anyways. So, today, about 2 months after the first visit, I decided to try them out again, since I was out running errands early, and thought it would be nice to surprise my daughter with some donut holes... When I went in they were not sold out, which was nice, but they did have a lot of donuts out of the case on the back shelf in open-air... At least four trays. Im not sure if this is why the donuts were so dry again today, but I could imagine that it lends to be problem. I ordered half a dozen basic donuts, and then told the lady that my name should be in a book somewhere for a free bag of donut holes with my purchase... She told me that would be up to the cashier as to whether or not she wanted to honor that, because they did not know anything about a book of names. The cashier then fumbled around in the drawer for a few seconds and said because she could not find my name anywhere she would not give me the donut holes, as previously... I asked her if she was able to make accommodations to make a customer happy and she said ... In my opinion it is quite ridiculous for whoever is running an operation to not be able to make an executive decision in order to keep the customer happy. I will never return to this location, especially after receiving dry and hard Donuts on two separate occasions, In addition to the fact that the agreement I had made; for not receiving my entire first order, was not honored... They did ask me to leave my name so that they could check with their manager and have her call me back, if they decided to give me the discount, but then the original lady, that would NOT honor the discount in the first place, called me back to let me know that next time I come in I could get a free bag of donut holes with my purchase... No thank you! I told them to not even worry about writing my name down, that I would never be returning to this location! AWFUL customer service on top of over priced dry donuts. This location is basically a vending machine for Daylight Donuts brand.

August 16th 2018. I went to the Daylight Doughnuts on Lackman Dr. I witnessed the staff behind the doughnuts blow his nose twice and not wash his handle. I walked in. He proceeded to put is contaminated phone down. Then grab one of the papers to grab a doughnut with. At which point I confronted him on what I witnessed. He said I made a good point. He didnt wash his hands. And hes a manager too! UNACCEPTABLE!

Why would you call a customer at 545 am???I called several times yesterday so I could get letter donuts for today and left a message no answer and you call before 6 in the morning just to tell me it’s too late??? If it’s too late then wait till later in the day to call!!!
