I had been meaning to try this place, having had cravings lately for some Levantine food. My brother and I ordered some beef shawarma and baba ghanoush for take-out. I was pleasantly surprised that fries were included, as I did not notice it in the shawarma listing on the menu. The shawarma was quite a large serving, as well. I may be wrong, but it seems they gave extra pita to accomodate two people, which is greatly appreciated.Though we had ordered take-out, the 15-minute wait was enough time to take in the atmosphere. The interior is a shaded ambience, great as a night cafe. A good alternative to a bar, if thats not your type of hangout (there is a sports bar next door, which is a sharp contrast).I will definitely be returning, even if alone. I would like to dine in once, and see what the nightlife there is like. As a night-owl, this seems a cool place to chill. The place seems somewhat empty in the early evening; I imagine it to have a decent crowd later at night. The place is definitely a unique hang-out here in Lenexa.

Showed up for hookah, had dinner while we were here.The fried pita with hummus dip, and the gyro meat pizza are phenomenal.We also had the house blend tea which was delicious(Also it would probably be fantastic with the baklava on the menu, goingd to save that for another trip though).The staff were extremely attentive to our needs, and very friendly.We will likely make the 90 minute drive to Lenexa again just to make another stop here.

The hookahs are horrible . We wanted to enjoy our night out and it was not up to depar. Don’t even bother getting the food tasteless, plain, and dry. Only good thing was the hummus. We tried the Greek salad and let’s just say if you drink tap water than you’ll love it ! That’s how disgusting it was than when mentioned we did not want it and wanted our money back, they refused to give us it back. Which is highly unacceptable nor did they bother to give something else. Customer service was horrible not once did they check in on us to see if we were good or how the food was tasting. If you’re from out of town please find somewhere else to spend you’re money, this place isn’t worth it!

Went to try hookah and bring my own hose to smoke and they tell me with. A rude way that I can use my hose,, so they told me if I want to use mine I need to leave, what a rude way to speak to customers

Nice cafe with all type teas, Mediterranean appetizers and food. hookah with fruity flavors to traditional flavors. This cafe practice social distancing and cleanliness.Fabulous place to just relaxing enjoying food and teas with your friends or just solo.

I eat here frequently and almost always order to go. It’s my favorite beef gyro in KC and there are many great runner ups! My favorite part is the sauce and the consistency of the food. Whether I order for a large group of friends or just to satisfy my own craving, it’s always perfection. My only complaint is that I wish they had more options because I would love to taste more from this place. 10/10 would recommend & do frequently for anyone passing through Lenexa or going shopping at the OP Mall.

Ordered gyro, was fine, if not superb. The advantage is, its open late night. So of you want to order something sudden after 10/10.30 pm, you can give it a try.

Website does not list this as a hookah cafe. Ordered food via menufy for daughter to pick up after work. She got there a bit late for a 7:25-7:35 pickup. Food was not ready until after 8:10pm. Wait was not comfortable with the smokey background for a non-smoker.

The hookah was fantastic, but the Shawarma wasn’t that great! Sadly the Shawarma had sautéed onions! You just killed the Shawarma. The shawarma isn’t from a stick (the large skewer), the shawarma was also done in a weird way. I don’t recommend the shawarma.I SURELY RECOMMEND THEIR IN HOUSE COCKTAIL!Sadly the shawarma looked good, but wasn’t at all !

This is the best hookah bar in town!I lived overseas and it is authetic! The food is great and the owner and the staff rock! We drive 40 mins to come here and its worth it! A must try!

The staff are friendly! Great quick service with authentic Baba Ghanoush & Pita. Hookahs have an immense selection and best of all they’re open late till 1am M-Thur and 2am Fri-Sat, bonus if you come while the game is on they have 3 screens and a projector to catch any main event. Great hookah for a great price! The employees and owners are very kind and courteous and coals are always delivered in a reasonable amount of time. I love the custom house mixes as well as Al Fakher double apple, and they always taste fantastic. You can definitely tell the staff has a passion for service and they nail it every time! Christian has amazing blends. Service and food is amazing. Never have had one disappointment on food. They remember our favourite drinks and feels friendly and inviting.

I greatly enjoyed this establishment. While they had almost full capacity, two employees were able to handle dinner orders quickly and hookahs had never had a dimming coal.The food was also delicious, homemade and consciously put together to satisfy.

Great place to go if your a student and want to relax while doing your work. Customer service is really good! The prices are reasonable. Also you have the option of getting food which a lot of other hookah bars don’t have. I would definitely recommend this place.

It just had a weird atmosphere. Staff seemed disconnected to customers. It was almost like it was a burden. Interior decorating is pretty cool.

This place is amazing! Da gave great service, tended to our coals perfectly, and gave great hookah advice for my boyfriend and I who are new to smoking hookah. He even gave us a punch card for a free hookah! I highly recommend this place. Try the smoothie and the fruit bowls! :)

Terrible hookah. I then asked the guy to come and fix it. When he was doing so, the hookah broke and the charcoal spread around and burned my shirt. The only thing I got was a simple apology from the worker who blamed someone else for not securing the hookah properly. When I suggested getting a discount for this mishap, the owner (or manager not sure; a guy with a beard and curly hair) refused and suggested he would lose business if he did so!!!!. So, my experience in nutshell, terrible hookah, awful service and a $50 shirt thrown to garbage. Stay away.Update: owner response shows that he didnt even understand my complaint.1) The incident indeed happened. There were 3 of us. In fact, the cashier called the manager when I suggested giving us a discount for the burned shirt!!.2) We didnt touch the coal or handle the hookah. It was your employee who didnt know how to handle the hookah which caused all this mess... Read my review again.At least acknowledge your shortcoming and promise to improve rather than making false assumptions. I think you can help your business better by taking some responsibility.

Its not very often I feel the urge to write a review of a business, but this place deserves it. Every time I come in, I have had great, friendly service in an all-inclusive and comfortable atmosphere. This is the perfect place to hang out with friends, quietly do homework, and relax after a long day. The tea is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. The house mixes are great, try the Kals mix, its tasty and smokes a long time. Cant rate it high enough.

Used to go here all the time until I moved to Georgia. Came back in town and stopped by and had a great time. Glad to see this lounge is still here. Staff are very friendly and did a great job. Plan on coming back the next time I come back to visit Kansas. 👍

One of my favorite local hookah bars. Never super packed and lots of options. They also serve different food items and drinks which can really complement whatever youre smoking. Ive been going there since 2014 and have seen it change through the years. Hope it sticks around for years to come.

Great staff! The customer service is A1. They greet you by your name and remember your order. They keep the coals coming like clockwork! Regulars are spotted here nightly!

This is a really great experience for people unfamiliar with hookah. Really fun, helpful people, great TVs to keep you entertained, and delightful tasty snacks. Good ventilation, too so very comfortable to relax a while. Worth a visit if you are curious, just tell the staff its your first time and they explain it all and help you all the way.

Unlike other hookah bars in a 30 mile radius, zaman hookah is CLEAN! Ive had problems with over packing and not tasting the flavor I ordered but with zaman hookah all worries are gone! The staff is very well educated and even recomend flavors to you. The hookahs are out of this world and will be back again! Besides the hookahs, for this place being a hookah bar they have incredible food. Normally you would be skeptical about food at a place that doesnt sound like it specializes in food but this place doesnt leave food sitting around waiting for someone to order it. You want to order the food! Best hookah bar in the area for sure!

We were fined because we decided not to smoke.Sunday night five of us walked in, took a table and ordered drinks, when we wanted to leave we were told that we have to pay $20 extra.$4 extra per person on top of our drinks because we didnt order any hookah.I have never seen this before. You are forced to smoke and if not you pay a fine. Not going to go there anymore and wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

I go there a lot. Great atmosphere, amazing hookah flavors, and amazing food.

Good environment for what it is. I mostly disliked the staff complaining about open carrying even though there was no sign on the door or any indication that they would have a problem with it. Thus was a surprise and ruined the overall experience of being there. If it were just me I probably would have left right then after the staff all but demanding I put it outside.

I lived in the middle east for several years. This place is the real deal! Authentic! Their falafel is amazing. The staff Da, Robbie, and Taz all are so friendly and always make sure you have the best experience! I highly reccomend them. We drive from blue spring because its that good! Plus they have a stamp card and if you get 8 stamps bam a free hookah!! Love it!! Only hookah place we go to! A must try!
