We received a new iPhone ordered direct from Apple, not activated for VZ as ordered. Made appointment at this Verizon store and was told they couldnt help us (only one SIM left in the store, no ability to activate eSIM). An unplanned trip to the Reston store yielded actual professional staff and they fixed the problem and got the new phone running with no drama.Edit 1: And of course standard VZ response of sorry, we didnt get it done. Were always improving yet, we always cringe when having to deal with VZ as its not customer experience focused company when problems arise. Two store visits AFTER no help online or over the phone (seven layers of hell to get to a real person). Youre always improving because the bar is so low to start with.

The folks at this store are super friendly and very helpful. I didnt get the young ladys name but she was a manager and Zachary were both great at helping us through our questions. They answered all of our questions. My husband had loads old them and they answered them all. Five stars for excellent service.

Horrible customer service. A little teenage girl there who calls herself manager got no clue what the customer service even means. Extremely rude and bossy. Very low technical proficiency and communication skills. They sold me a galaxy active 2 watch but could not make it to work, and on top of that very rudely asked asked me to leave and call customer service. When I insisted they either make it work or refund my money, the little manager threatened to call police (which I would welcome at this point). Verizon is going down the hill. Their customer service wait time is about 2 hours. Most of their technical staff do not have technical skills to actually fix anything or even understand how their own equipment works. They employ a bunch of entitled millennial brats who dont understand basic customer service concept. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. SEEK OTHER PROVIDERS!!!!

If I could give zero stars then I would. We went to this store roughly 2 months ago and we were unknowingly lied to several times. We needed to have a lot done and it could not be done over the phone so we had to go to the store. When we explained what we needed done, we were told it would be easiest to get new phone numbers for everyone and we would get a promotional rate for our childs new phone since we would open a new account. We were then told it would be easiest to do it online. So we left and attempted to do everything online. This was a complete disaster! I contacted a representative on the next business day for help which was two days later. The representative took care of the account setup and we did not have to get all brand new phone numbers, only for our child. The representative did not understand why the associates at the store said it would be best for all brand new phone numbers when all they had to do was click TWO buttons and the account would be setup and good to go and we would only need the one new phone number, not new numbers for all of us. The associates in the store also said to wait two billing cycles to see the phone discount and any other discounts we qualified for. Well what do you know? The phone discount for our childs phone NEVER shows. So I once again call a representative and have it looked into. SURPRISE! In order to qualify for the discount on the phone we needed to sign up for the unlimited data plan....We were NEVER told this, NEVER and it was NOWHERE to be found on our paperwork.While we were given a statement credit for our trouble, which was nice of the phone representative, this does not in any way make up for being lied to by the store associates and for the store associates cheating us out of hundreds of dollars.Completely unacceptable and we will NEVER go to this store again.

My husband and I went to purchase new phones and were told only one of us could go in to purchase at a time because of COVID 😒We left and went back later to try again and they let both of us in 😀I haven’t had a phone with service in yrs I’ve been using Text Now a free phone service since 2014 So I was so happy to get a new phone finally. I forget the name of the rep that took care of us but he was very helpful and kind .

Very rude and unhelpful staff who tried to trick me into spending WAY more than I had to. Came in with my phone that had a broken screen, first staff person explained I had to call the insurance provider even though the insurance was on my Verizon plan. Ok. Thats fine.The issue began when another clerk slid in, told me that because me screen was broken on the edge, that the insurance wont cover the repair, that I needed to replace the phone, and that I might as well just spend like $800+ for a new phone.Thankfully I ignored him and called the insurance and got a fully repaired phone within 3 hours for less than $30. If I had sent my parents or grandparents in there, that guy might have milked some serious money out of them.Hard pass, never going back.

Five stars for Marcel at the Verizon store in Leesburg. Such a really helpful and considerate customer service representative. IT-savvy people can sometimes be condescending, but not Marcel. He took the time to not only activate my phone but show me the quickest way to retrieve all my contacts, text messages and photos--showed me so I actually learned something. Thanks Marcel!

Im very torn writing this review. My goal was to go into the Verizon Store and upgrade my very old iphone to a newer iphone, and this did get accomplished.After choosing a phone the sales associate tried to sell me everything. I was very clear at the beginning that I could only afford the mid range storage space of my selected phone, and that I could not afford any other special services however despite this I stood there for at least twenty minutes when he kept trying to convince me to get a more expensive data plan, get the highest possible storage capacity version of the phone I selected, and a monthly subscription to a device that plugs into my car.I understand that to make sales you have to be aggressive and pushy, but I had a very long, awkward conversation where i had to continuously say no thank you I cannot afford this please stop asking me to purchase additional items.

First of all, this review is directed at both Verizon corporate and this store. Verizon has shut down almost every store in northern VA in the wake of Covid 19. I drove a great distance to get to this Leesburg location because I need help with my fios account. I’ve even gone to the Fredericksburg location and gotten the same pile of BS that this store is spewing. The website and the phone operators are absolute garbage, so I wanted to talk to somebody in person to cancel my account. I show up to my appointment time, and I’m clearly already irritated (full disclosure). The guy says he can’t help me because they only do wireless. I explain to him my situation, and he continues to tell me he can’t help me with my problem because they only do wireless. He wasn’t rude, but there was zero empathy or willingness to help a clearly frustrated customer. Literally the only advice he gave me was to call 1800Verizon and ask to speak to a supervisor (gee, I wish I’d thought of that...). I asked if there was anybody who could help me, and he said the only place around here who does fios is in Fair Oaks, and they’re closed. WHY would Verizon not have a Fios location open? And why am I having such a problem canceling my account. It’s appalling, and I will never use Verizon again. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Comcast is easier to work with, and I previously thought Comcast was the worst company in the world.

I have had this number for 25 yrs and I called to make an appointment. Were busy and we cant fix problems. Told me to call. Im disabled and tired of the games. My battery doesnt hold its charge more than half a day. You post trite replies and no actions taken . Do you want to stay in business?

Leaving 1-star as there is no option to rate less than one!Sales Representative was not knowledgeable. There was a representative was super rude as well at Leesburg Village Center location.I have been a Verizon business customer and tried this location couple of times and NEVER had a good experience.There is minimum help when you call Verizon call center. At least Verizon can up their game in store. Very disappointed =(I really, hope this changes for betterment.

Absolutely the best experience Ive had with the company and with getting a phone. Ive been here three times in the past 3 months and every time, I am greeting promptly at the door, given excellent, helpful service, and out of there in a hour. Even two days before Christmas, and the day after, I did not have a long wait (20 min is not long for me). The manager came up to me to tell me that I still had two people in front of me in line but that it would not be much longer. That was a good move- I was impressed. Im sorry that the other reviewer had a bad experience but I was able to upgrade two days before my date (my bud Darrell there confirmed that you can go in 7 days before hand). Signed up for the Edge program and got the new Galaxy Note 4 and only had to pay for the accessories. I send everyone here and we are always pleasantly surprised at how expeditious this corporate location is. Thank you so much!

I walked into the store and was helped after a few moments. The staff seemed to be elsewhere. I needed my data transferred to my new phone and after a few seconds, the woman helping me began helping another male customer who walked in after me. I stood there thinking what the heck!...while she became engrossed with their problem. After patiently waiting for too long, I had to remind her that I had come in first. She then came over and tranferred my data. I have never been so disrespected as a customer before. This place needs some customer service training.

SCAMMERS. Got upgraded to a business plan which included a 2 year contract and a credit check which I was NOT told about. If you are forced to use Verizon like me, go to a different store! Buy your phones refurbished on amazon!!! Screw Verizon forever.UPDATE: I just found out that the Hum I was REQUIRED to buy and activate was not required at all...UPDATE: Rep at the store took the case off my phone without my permission, which was then lost. The phone I thought was defective actually turned out to be fine. This store was not helpful, not friendly, and not honest. Not business friendly. Screw Verizon forever.

I went to return a jetpack because the employee at the Dulles store we purchased it from failed to mention the speed decrease after 15 Gb and the manager here at this store said that I had to go back to the store I purchased it from to avoid paying a restocking fee, a restocking fee half the price of the device. Extremely inconvenient when Verizon is Verizon. Unbelievable considering the amount of money and the years of commitment we’ve invested in this company. I’ll never go back to this Verizon store again.

Verizon is full of shxt company, they dont know what they are doing, no employee can step forward and solve the issue. Just follow their rule of engagement, play safe and kill their time and work.When I moving my Fios service, they setup moving order to my new address and stop my previous service, after 3 weeks, they told me that the new address not been covered by Fios, hence I wont been charge the early termination fee since its not my fault.After move to new address two month, got bill from Verizon, now I own $140 early termination fee, have to ignore this bullshxt, then debt collect start to call me, told them the story, I think will stop the scam call, no at all, after 5 month, another debt collector call me again for this damned Verizon charge, whats wrong with Verizon?

Worst experience ever! I have owned an I Phone 7 for 31 days. It has been replaced once. I have been on the phone countless times with Verizon, been to the store twice. The second time I came in I worked with a wonderful guy named Joey that encouraged me to try another 7 hoping I just had a lemon. He said to just come back if it doesnt work and we can work out something out to get a different phone. I go in today 12/5 and the manager said I have had it too long and he will not do anything other than have a 7 sent to me through the warranty....well why would I want another 7 if two of them have had issues? He then told me I just need to go to an Apple store. I can not imagine telling a customer to hang on to their phone passed the time they will allow a swap out and then saying oh well, you are past the time we can help you...31 days is too long......Buyer beware! Do not go to the Verizon store by Wegmans in Leesburg...you will be ripped off.

My boyfriend and I walked in last night to see if I could get an upgrade. Ive been to other verizon stores in the past and they have been able to attempt to give me an early upgrade. We walked in about 730 and there was 2 employees there. One male and one female. The woman asked me what she could help me with and I told her I wanted to see when I could upgrade my phone. She instantly got snotty with me asked me what it said on the website and what phone I wanted and after I told her she said no we cant give you an upgrade. She didnt even look! So I began to look around at the phones. While looking around the woman looked at me said we close in 5 minutes. The male working with the other customer, was starting to get frustrated with the girl he was working with and started to get mad at her because HER PHONE WOULDNT WORK!This certain location I would NEVER go back to and next time, I will stick with who I normally go to. Ive had nothing but bad experiences and at this point Im thinking about switching carriers.
