AT&T has a $55 dollar restocking fee which the sales consultants are not held liable to tell you before purchase. It is written in small print after you purchase on the back of the recipet. This creates it so there is no protection for the customer and no accountability for the sales consultants as they dont have to provide anything in writing stating the $55 dollar restocking fee. Shady practice!!!

We just purchased a business plan through the Leesburg Virginia store. Our sales person James was one of the best sales guys I’ve ever worked with. Knowledgeable, very friendly, patient, and not in anyway pushy. He also worked hard to give us the best pricing. I would definitely ask for him personally if I were going to that store.

EDIT: I visited the store again on 9/17 to add another line, order an iPhone 12 Mini for my mother-in-law, and treated myself to the Series 6 Apple Watch and Abdullah helped me again. He remembered me from my last visit! I was blown away, yet again, by his positive, friendly and helpful demeanor. What are you waiting for? Go ask for Abdullah!Abdullah was awesome! It was great working with him. He was friendly, helpful and patient with my wife and me as we nervously transitioned from Samsung Galaxy S8+ to iPhone 12 Pro Max. He made the whole experience very easy and seamless. He was able to recommend cases, applied our screen protectors perfectly, and had us out the door in about an hour. We had a bad experience at the Dulles AT&T and were apprehensive about upgrading our phones, but we had such a great experience thanks to Abdullah. We love our new phones and will definitely be back in the future.

These people were rude and short with me and didnt believe what I was telling them when I clearly explained to them my issue. The manager was ok and ended up handling my issue but one of the sales guys was not great, it was not a pleasant experience.Now, there was a lovely sales lady that was chatting with me while the other guy left me there with no explanation. She was pleasant and friendly and made the end of the visit better.Seriously, the initial guy I saw needs to be a little more respectful and not treat people because hes judging a book by its cover. Im a young woman so he didnt take me seriously but luckily his manager did. Ended up getting my situation handled and had a nice chat with the other sales lady so it turned out ok in the end.

I had a great experience at this store, the customer service was amazing. John, Abdullah, Freddy, and Jeremy were very informative and helped us with a lot. Not to mention that they were so patient with us even though our visit took a very long time, it did not bother them at all. They treated us with so much kindness. They gave us great advice, were all incredibly sweet, but most of all friendly with us, I definitely recommend going to this store and asking for these guys if you need any help at all. 100/100 would definitely recommend.

JIM IS THE MVP! AT&T give this man a raise! He is the epitome of an outstanding customer service representative. I came in with a billing issue after calling back and forth between customer service, billing, finances, and collections which all led to dead ends. I was pretty frustrated after being led in circles and thought I was just gonna be in an endless loop until I found someone who would take the time to look into my problem. Jim immediately called customer services and spent 30 minutes on the phone with me and the representative from customer care and I finally had a resolution to my problem. You don’t see a lot of people who genuinely care that much to help other people even when it’s part of their job, but Jim went above and beyond and I’m truly grateful for his help today. Thank you Jim!

My att experience with Maria Miranda was exceptional! After upgrading online and it no being yet processed Maria was able to explain why and what was happening. So I’m order to satisfy what I was expecting Maria went out of her way to redo upgrades and sit with me over an hour to figure everything out and get my new phones and apple watches! There are not enough words I could say to even begin to describe how amazing and helpful this AT&T store has been to me. Victor, whom I believe is the manager goes so much more than above and beyond his duties to help and assist customers. He not only helped fix a major screw up on my account that occurred doing a transaction with AT&T customer service when I called the 800 number. He was so helpful, so patient, And spent all the time it took to figure out what happened and change it. He not only gave me the comfort of knowing everything was processing and being fixed but also gave me his personal cell phone number in case any further issues occurred. When a credit that was supposed to have been issued was not processed I just and spent all the time it took to figure out what happened and change it. This place deceives you. Made us agree to a contract that we were told was One year(also was confirmed by multiple phone representatives from AT&T) and now they sent us a bill with an early termination fee. I dont understand this company and their rules. The last 3 months have been completely screwed up. Our bills dont make sense anymore. A 12 month contract become 24 months. None of this was authorized. We werent properly informed (consistently jumping through hoops getting different answers from everyone) and on top of that, our bill literally has been over 300 bucks a month for the last 4 months. We were specifically told itd be 170-180 MULTIPLE TIMES. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS. Canceling service is the only way to go after all this nonsense

I dropped by for what I thought would be a quick pickup of a new phone I ordered online, unfortunately the paperwork to release it took longer than expected for both me and the Manager, Jason, who was patient and determined to help resolve the issue. He knew I was on a lunch break and was respectful of my time.I returned later that day for a different issue and their customer service reps made sure to acknowledge me as they finished up with other customers. Employee Mike was being very patient helping a lady navigate the world of data storage, iCloud, and overall iPhone settings. He then went on to assist me with my issue until it also was resolved even though the store had passed closing time.I was very impressed with the level of customer service there, you dont always see that in retail these days. Will definitely return if I need to and highly recommend!

Chose the Pick Up In Store option for a device I ordered online. I will never do that again if this location is the only option. They took several minutes to acknowledge me (annoying in a Apple store ripoff with no obvious service desk to request assistance), and after 35 minutes of waiting the three staff members were still assisting the same three customers, as the line of waiting customers kept growing. They may as well have been asleep. This location is the most convenient for me, but I’d gladly drive out of my way to avoid such a lousy experience in the future.

We were being helped by Jim, who we were told works at another store and only came to this particular store because they were understaffed. Jim was unable to help us switch my fiancé’s number over from a different market (West Virginia). He tried calling retail support; and he spoke to the wrong department. We asked him to try one more time to call and try and get the right department before just giving up and changing my fiancé’s phone number (he has so many things connected to his phone number!) Well then a group of people walked in, and he shuffled us off to another employee, told them we wanted to change my fiancé’s number to make it easier (we didn’t) and went to help another group instead of actually trying to help us. I’m livid that we had to change phone numbers simply because this employee wasn’t willing to do his job and fix the problem.

I will NEVER go back to this store again. In years past I have purchased five phones from this store. Staff were helpful and courteous. This experience today erased all of that. Staff wasn’t interested in helping me AT all unless I was upgrading my service and wouldn’t let me purchase a phone without it. I even explained how many devices I’ve purchased there, including two iPads. He was having nothing of it. I told him directly I would never be back. Best Buy not only sold me the phone but did the entire set up in 30 min. Free of charge. SMH....Never will go there again

Went to check out and possibly upgrade my phone to the new active S7. The ones in display were gold color and green color. But I wanted to see the dark black color but it was inside some kind of water display.The saleswoman POOJA said they do have the black color in the stock but she absolutely confirmed that she wont show it to me unless I buy it for sure. Wow. I dont know what to say about about that customer service approach but it definitely made me not to buy the phone at all; never in this store for sure. And of course she was not friendly to begin with.Its high time to think about switching the carrier

Terrible customer service. We have wait an hour to simply replace a lost SIM card. There’s only 2 associates there, and they both work like it’s vacation.Strongly recommend doing things online in stead of walking in store unless you have ton of free time to waste.Never coming back.

We had a Apple Watch Series 4 on hold for us, and they sold it. We drove nearly 1 hours to this store just to find out that they sold it, “JUST CAUSE IT CHRISTMAS TIME” it’s ridiculous. Never shopping here again. Now we went to the sterling location and manage to have one order for us and they were nice about it. It was a Christmas present for me.

Wow...AT&T is the biggest scammers ever. I just received my first bill and found out that their deal of trading in my iPhone 8 in for an 11 for a credit of 700 is now being broken up for 30 months and will take 2 to 3 months to credit. So my bill is currently 100 dollars MORE than it is supposed to be. Im within my buyers remorse so I can return the phone and get out of the contract, BUT AT&T CANNOT give me my phone back. So it takes 30 months to get the credit for my phone and if I return this phone, I cannot get my old phone back. AT&T told me they had service in my town and my house does NOT get service. Worst cell phone carrier ever.

Came to a semi busy store. A nice guy mentioned he would get me checked in ASAP.20 minutes later the “manager” looking lady came by to try to help but then I realized that the “line/queue” was 4-5 people deep and only two guys trying to help people. The manager lady was doing misc tasks including giving one of the guys a hard time because he was making a mess (aka working, helping a family).Wish someone could have acknowledged me sooner and let me know about the wait. Glad I didn’t wait in line for the next two hours to get helped because I would have canceled my service if I did. I tried calling on the phone AT&T service (after waiting 15-18 minutes) and had someone startig to help me before I left.What are these stores for? It seems like a miserable attempt to help people unless you luck out and get to one with zero other people there.

Here is a buyer beware story. Been with Direct TV for over 25 years. Switched my service to a new plan to get a better deal pver two months ago.. Installer told me to take my old equipment back to the store. I boxed it up and returned it to this store where I ordered the service. I was owed refund of 115. This was two months ago, no check. They charged my old account 285 dollars and now want 170 bucks which they have turned over to a collections agency. ATT has the equipment they have ignored several attempts to fix a problem they created. But they come after me, a 25 year customer. No one will slow down and tell the other that they have the equipment and issue the refund for overpayment. This is what you can expect form this store. I wont name names, but I have them, not everyone in there ignores the request. Dont expect the prepaid visa card either. Ill keep calling until they return the equipment to me so I can mail it in to someone or hopefully someone in there will get off their A and use a phone to call someone in their own merged company. If you are in charge in there, give me a call after talking to your folks. They know what this is about, they have at least 10 text messages form me. I will never use their service if you want to call it that again from that store

The guy who was working with us to buy a phone and switch my husbands phone service from verizon to ATT was on hold with the ATT people who do that work and left us to sell 4 phones to a family so we sat and waited. He got the information he needed and continued to work with the family so we waited some more and then interrupted him to ask when we could complete the process. He passed us off to another representative. The price he told us for the phone was higher than the price Best Buy had. He told us that that couldnt be right as att sold phones to them (?) so, I went to the Best Buy web site and showed him the sale of $150 off. He didnt offer to price match but he did say we could stop the process right then but that we could call ATT and ask for retention and see if they would price match. We just got our ATT bill and the phones price included insurance of $8.99 and mobile protection pack charge of $3. The salesperson never asked us if we wanted insurance. The next day my husband went back to have the staff transfer his data. I got a message from ATT starting that his phone service was discontinued. When I called the store no one answered the phone. The second time i called a guy told me that sometimes things go wrong but that he couldnt help me. I told him my husband was there and maybe he could talk to him there. He said he wasnt on the floor yet and for me to contact ATT and have him authorized to make changes to the account. So...my husband is there but I cant talk to him to tell him about the problem with the service or that I will get him authorized right away because this guy couldnt be bothered to open the door from the employee area and tell my husband what was going on or get another employee to tell him. Not pleased with being left waiting while our representative made a big sale. Not pleased with the take it or leave it attitude. Not pleased with the non disclosure of the sale of the insurance plan. Do yourself a favor and go to another ATT store.

4/2/18 Experience:I went back to this store again to see about having a SIMM card transferred from my current phone to a better phone I had obtained. Previously when I went into the store, I found it best to work with the manager named Jason as the regular employees couldnt do anything right.Walked into the store and found that Jason did not work there anymore and a guy named Adam told me he was the new manager. I asked him for his assistance but was very stand-offish and told me that he did not assist customers; that I had to work with one of the sales associates.I explained to him the trouble I had with the salespeople in the past and was the reason I wanted to deal only with the manager. Adam grudgingly agreed to help me but had a very sour attitude about it.When I explained to him what I wanted to do, he said he could insert another SIMM card in my new phone but I would have to pay him $5 in cash. I had never been charged any fee for having an employee insert a SIMM card in my phone and this did not seem right.I asked Adam if they could put the $5 charge on my bill and he said no, I had to pay him in cash. So I left the store without having anything done as I felt that he was trying to scam me. Next I called the AT&T customer support number and told them about my experience with AdamThey told me that they do not charge a fee to insert a SIMM card in a customers phone. The person I spoke to recommended I file an online complaint against Adam of which I will be doing. I think the $5 he was trying to charge me would have gone right into his pocket.I am through being a customer of AT&T after over 15 years. Recently switched over to Consumer Cellular and am paying half of what was paying AT&T and getting much more data - 20GB compared to 4GB with AT&T.8-22-17 Experience:Went in to transfer everything from old phone to new Android. Salesperson James helped me and was terrible. First he said my phone did not have an SD card slot when I found out later that it did. He inserted a SIMM card into my new phone. When I left the store, I tried making a call on my new phone and it did not work. Luckily I had not driven too far so turned around and went back in the store and found that James had inserted the SIMM card upside down. Felt he did this intentionally as he seemed to have a bad attitude the whole time. He is heavyset man with glasses.This happened a couple of years ago:I went in to purchase a new Pantech Breeze flip phone for my elderly father. He was on a month-to-month plan as his two year contract had expired years ago. I told the salesman that we wanted to stay on the month-to-month plan and not resign a two year contract. He told me we could do that and the cost for the new flip phone was $50. I paid the $50 and signed on the electronic keypad as they dont show you what you are signing, you just have to go by their word.Later, I found out the salesman had lied to me and I had unknowingly signed up for a two year contract when I signed on the electronic keypad. I called AT&T corporate office and they were of no help. I would advise anyone going to an AT&T store to have them print out a paper contract for you to read before you sign on the electronic keypad. The salespeople will lie to you as I assume they get a commission if they can trick you into signing up for a two year contract.

I was there couple of days ago. I was going to upgrade my phone, since I have been with att for over 10 years, I never had any issue. An African American sales rep name Colay I think,He has a gold teeth. I cant really remember that well, He was so rude, when I asked him a question, He replied Do I know you? I said, I am a costumer, you dont have to know every one who walks through this door. I was there with my friend, and she had some questions about her recent purchase too. She cant speak english very well, so I was also assisting her with that too. Ive told him he was rude and he said I can call the costumer service if I dont like it. Ive already contacted AT&T through twitter and they want his name. I will post it on twitter. He should get fired. I left the store, and my friend came after me. I am not sure about staying with AT&T after this miserable experience. He was yelling at me, and walking towards me almost in threatening fashion. Unbelievable.

I just went to the AT& T store in Leesburg next to Wegmans to replace my wife’s older iPhone. What a rude and unprofessional staff. The assistant manager said our system is “down” so we can’t tell you what it’s worth for a trade-in. Then handed me off to a young lady (Sara) who before I could say a word walked across the store and wrote down the prices of New iPhones without even asking me what I was interested in. We I asked why should buy an iPhone from AT& T versus Apple she walked to the front door as to say you can leave NOW! We did, and I will never be back!!!

Waited 50 min only to move up 2 spots in the queue. When I got signed in, I wasnt even given an idea of how long the wait could be. Finally when I checked with someone, I was told it can take another 40 minutes!There are 2 other ppl (probably managers) who are just sitting on their butts....get up and help ppl!
