Everyone was excellent!!I started out w Joe in the service department and when he thought the part might take 3-4 weeks, he immediately arranged for a rental car from Hertz since there where no Minis.During the next week, Omar stayed in touch w me daily and the part did come in; he also got my Warranty Renewal taken care of. My schedule was full, upon completion of the repairs and routine service, so Omar hadsomeone bring my car to me.And of course, it was washed and detailed beautifully as always. Mini staff is the best!!Thank you!Terry

As always I truly enjoy my experience with Mini of Clear Lake. I know no one likes to have to talke their car to the shop but when you do, a good experience helps tremendously. The service is impeccably from rides to and from the dealership to friendly and helpful service advisor to a detailed car on pick up. It is worth taking your mini here! Not to mention when I had a question about the bill they fixed it right away and also did some minor appearance work for just the cost of the clips and screws. I dont go anywhere else.

I bought my 2014 Hard Top Mini from Advantage BMW. They have always taken good care of me. I brought it in for brake fluid service and oil change. They also checked out a front tire that was registering low. Drove up, dropped off at 10 and left. Came back at 3 and it was ready to go. Very good service!

We started with a different service representative but after being unable to get answers after 10 days ...we were fortunate to have Doug as our service representative He was amazing. Overall getting someone on the telephone was a nightmare. The phone tree isnt very useful and I usually ended up getting transferred to someones voicemail. Then Doug came to the rescue. Once he was on the case we received updates and even though things didnt go as planned it was nice know why. He was wonderful in helping with every aspect of the service experience. We were there for some recall work that was a safety issue and he made sure we were treated as if we had just bought a new vehicle. My hats off to Doug and Tony of the parts department. Made.my experience noteworthy.

Andrea was very helpful when I took my wife’s car for service, she explained everything in detail that they will take care of and made sure all of the tasks are done properly, also made sure we’re satisfied with the service. After the service we got a washed, vacuumed clean car back from her which they did a really good job.I will definitely take our cars back there if any service needed and I will recommend Mini of Clear Lake to everyone.

Mr Omar a service advisor answered my call at 7:00 PM last night. Even though the service department had been closed. He took the time to assist and educate me on my options. We were on the call for at least 45 minutes. Although he could have sold me a new tire, he explained to me our extended warranty would cover all but $50. He ordered the tire this morning and had ready about 1:00 PM. While in the service department less than 30. minutes. I can’t remember a time or experience to equal the courtesy given to us.

Awful experience. I was interested in a used Jeep Wrangler they had listed on their MINI website for $40k and inquired about it. Funny enough as I am talking with someone about the Jeep, I am told the price is actually $44k.. so the price just magically increased $4k once I said I was interested? I showed proof of the website showing the $40k price but they refused to honor their original price. You can buy a brand new Jeep Wrangler for $44k so why would I spend that on a used one? Very sketchy and poor customer service. I have never heard of a company not honoring their price tags.

It was a great 1st time experience with Texas Mini of Clear Lake. I was concerned because my mini has serviced at Mini of Portland in Beaverton, OR and was not sure if the service would be the same.Speaking with Gerardo put my mind at ease. He reviewed the paperwork I brought with me. We discussed my issues & he set a plan. Although I was a late walk in, he placed my car for a diagnosis check. The tech sent the report so I could speak with Geraldo my options. They completed the job the next day! Thank you Mini of Clear Lake!

Great experience with Joe Gomez buying an off lease mini that had just been turned in. Joe was honest and upfront with everything. He even sent a personal thank you email a day or two after we picked up the vehicle. No form emails. Husband was impressed with his communication and availability. Overall, my experience here has been good. My most recent visit was not as good as my previous ones, though. Usually I feel like MINI/BMW service reps go above and beyond, and I appreciate that since it is soooo expensive every time I take my MINI to the shop. (Mini Coopers are fun, but not made to last. Do NOT buy a Mini cooper if you arent prepared to purchase some kind of extended full-coverage warranty, or spend at least $1000 every 8-12 months to fix something important). Today, however, I left a little frustrated. My AC was not working, and I took it in and they told me that they would run a diagnostic and let me know what was wrong. I was not able to stay at the dealership to wait on my car as usual, so they said they would call me to let me know what the problem was. It took them a couple of hours before being able to run the diagnostic, even though I took it in promptly at 7am to avoid my car being there for more than a day. Then, they called me about it while I was at work and I was not able to answer, so it took a while for them to even begin my service because they werent able to get my approval. I am not sure why they stopped doing the diagnostic inspection before they send you on your way, but I guess the online service review was easy to use. But, they pre-approved an AC service when I went in that was not the one I needed and told me it was my air compressor that needed to be replaced, which I was not ready to pay for (over $2500 to replace at the dealership). I ended up allowing them and paying them to do the AC re-charge service, but I didnt realize it wasnt going to help my AC problem at all. Long story short, I spent about $200 on a service I probably didnt need, and my AC is still hot (in this Texas weather). I think that if they were not able to fix the part I actually needed fixed, it should have not been recommended to me and should not have been put on my bill in the first place. But then again, I guess that is my fault for letting it fly under the radar. Besides that, the staff are always friendly and professional, and they do offer a nice lounge with wifi, coffee, and snacks if you do wait at the dealership. They also take the time to wash your car and shampoo your carpets, which is nice coming back to a clean car.I want to add that David is an excellent service rep. He wasn’t helping me this time, but I usually get him when I take my car in and he has always been great.Joe also was very kind and was easy to get a hold of.

David Tyson was courteous, thorough, and kept me up to date every half hour with my repair. I had a bad battery and they checked it and found it beyond charging, so they replaced it. Luckily, it was under warranty, so it was free! Nevertheless, he kept me assured that it was being taken care and even washed the vehicle for me. Thanks, David!

I’m usually reluctant working with the actual dealerships on car-maintenance, because my experience is that they can be more aggressive, deceptive, etc., than individual shops, but that was not the case here. An entirely positive experience.

After having my mini in a different shop for a week with no luck in figuring out what was wrong with it, I took it to Advantage BMW. Within 24 hours they told me what the issue was and kept me updated almost daily with how the repair was going. I won’t bother going elsewhere should I need any sort of maintenance because the service here was incredible. Specific thanks to Joseph & Greg for making the process as smooth as possible!

I had such a great experience getting my windshield replaced and a cell phone/navigation bracket installed in my Mini Cooper. This service was quick and took less than two days to complete. The service department made sure I had a vehicle to use in the mean time and even cleaned my car after the service. David was my service advisor and he did a great job keeping me informed and communicating throughout the entire process.

When I scheduled my oil change, I received no notification to bring my car to BMW dealership since MINI of Clear Lake closed.There is a huge lack of organization to pickup vehicle after oil change. I was told I would have to speak to the person who checked me on which they had to go find him. Thankfully he wasnt out sick. I picked up my car 3 days ago and yet I received another text asking if I needed anything else while Im at the dealership. I received a detailed bid on repairing 3 oil leaks and changing engine mounts. All bids were quoted with 100% labor charge so whether I got all the work done at the same time or I brought the car back 4 times where they would have to rack it and tear it apart 4 times, the labor charge is the same. If youre going to bundle work all together then provide a discounted labor charge.

As far as maintenance goes, I have no problem. They fixed it. I do take issue with the answering service female. I was told Id be contacted with a quote before the loaner car was due back, it didnt happen. I didnt want to bother them so I waited up until the morning of date printed on my statement to call them. I was hung up on 2ce, when the female finally answered she assured me shed pass my message along and someone would return my call. It never happened. I was there to return their car on time as agreed upon, they were not. Guess everyone bailed to La Brisas for half price cinco de mayo margaritas, they shouldve at least invited me. Wasted my gas and time.

After three various service visits it’s safe to say that Mini of Clearlake has been very consistent with customer service and quality of work on my vehicle. David is very knowledgeable about the vehicles. Pricing appears to be fair and the atypical complimentary general assessment is valuable to the customer.The service department is recommended.In the meantime, if you want to explore new car options, Ms. Kimble provides excellent and polite customer service on the sales side.

Needed a tire for a Mini Cooper S. After driving a half hour and then waiting nearly an hour and a half (WITH an appointment) we discovered the wrong tire was ordered. I had to return the next day and wait another 45 minutes to have the correct tire installed. Nearly 2 hours of drive time and over 2 hours of wait time. At least, as compensation for the pleasure, I got a shrug and Sorry about that. $300 I wont spend THERE again.

I came to get an oil change done. I was informed of an option to avail of the shuttle service. I initially wanted the service but service rep told me that it would take maybe an hour to get it done. I told her that in that case then I will just wait in the dealership. It took almost 3 hours for the oil change! I even left without having them wash the car. If she would have been honest with me at the beginning I would have understood. I don’t have a choice but my experience was horrible. She was very nice though.

Came here in need of getting my airbag and safety restraint belt light on my mini cleared and serviced, took about an hour and a half to get it diagnosed and only another day or so for the part to come in! Directed as so, to come in on Monday I showed up and to my surprise they had it done as quickly as possible and the problem was solved. Super kind and genuine people here! Expensive price for labor but as most dealerships are, deffinitley worth the quality work they put in!

Best experience ever!!May 2019: My 2013 Mini Cooper Paceman S’s warranty was near expiration. The service advisors Victor and David took care of my vehicle as if it were their own. Fast forward to today.3/26/2020: I called in need of vehicle inspection David Tyson told me to come in he would accommodate. My vehicle was inspected, washed/prepped and returned to me with smiles and professionalism. Entire experience was approximately 30-40 minutes. Highly recommend!!!

I gotta say that William Davis is one heck of salesman and takes pride in what he does. No gaming, lies, or other stuff, just a straight shooter. Ask for him and see how buying a car SHOULD be. No sitting around for 2-3 hours waiting in some cubicle. This guy is going places just wait n see.Matter of fact when we were done with the sales part the final paperwork with the finance Manager was a breeze as well. He asked if we wanted an extended warranty and respected our decision when we declined it. No one here is pushy - just how buying a car should be.

I took my older MINI in for a check engine light. Got a number of things fixed but one they had cleaned later that day set the light off again. The Banks solenoid needed replacing. They brought a loner car to my workplace, picked mine up and returned it when it had been replaced. Very very service oriented folks. While they are expensive to fix, this is definitely the place to take yours.

I got my used mini checked in this place.Everything was fine except for the costs. They can exaggerate the problems of your car. I think it is b/c they are dealership.-Advantages-David Tyson, the Service Advisor, and William Davis, the Motoring Advisor have been very kind, sincere, and helpful.Since I bought my mini from a small private dealership, it turned out that my mini had many mechanical problems and bad history as well. Mr. Tyson helped me generously to address the unrevealed problems that my car had throughout the whole week. He has been very helpful. He has professional and calm manner. William Davis also helped me to check an option to trade my car. He is extremely nice and gentle. He listened carefully about my situation and tried to help my situation with sincere and kind manner. :) Even though I could not afford an expensive car, he offered me lots of options that I can take under the situation.They all did not push me to spend money, instead, they assisted me with kindness and sincereness. I highly recommend both of them as your future advisors on your car. Their service was great. I was touched by their help.-Disadvantages-Exaggerate the problems of a car, making you to believe that you cannot own the car anymore. And expensive.Not all of them but some reps who answer the call were quite rude and careless. They were like robots- giving me an impression that they do not care a bit about anything. I understand they can be exhausted due to work but I hope their service can be improved. If the service representatives who take care of phone calls tried to show me a little bit of care and kind manner, I would have been impressed much more.

Service advisers Victor and David along with Fidel(service manager) helped make what would have been an unnerving experience into a pleasant one.Couple of months ago, I purchased a 2012 countryman s with 87,000 miles from the original owner. The mini is for my son for his 16th birthday, and he loves it by the way. I wanted a safe vehicle for him, being that he is a novice driver, so I had it taken to Clear lake Mini to have it serviced.They addressed all the problems and even others as preventive measures. I do not know much about cars but Victor and David was always accommodating when I had questions.Though I was weary of costs and repairs involved, I was ultimately concerned about having a safe vehicle for my son to drive to school. And they did that for me.I have had my vehicles serviced at Mercedes to Honda dealerships, but thus far my experience here has been the most pleasant.I work in service sector where I deal with customers on daily basis, we stress that customers leave on a positive note and wanting to return.And they did that for me!Thank you guys.

Edit:I I didnt feel like wasting more time for this place so I left a blank 1 star review, but since you asked, I edit it for you here.I came here twice for 2 different used vehicles.1. First experience, I emailed them to ask about the vehicle availability, they confirmed. I came there the next working day and was told that its sold. I went home, emailed them to ask about the situation - no response. I guess Im just unlucky so didnt make a big deal about it.2. Second time,I found another vehicle, a week later, on their site as well. I was around the block so I came straight to the place to ask about it - its also gone. The guy said that the car isnt meet their inspection requirement so they sold it at an auction (yet its still on their site for sale, funny huh?).3. The guy who greeted me didnt even ask for my name, didnt introduce himself (I learnt his name is William something because I saw the business cards on the table - yes, he didnt give me those either), and didnt ask if I want anything to drink. I had to walk around looking for some water for my sister.Ive been to so many dealerships looking for the right car, and this is the 1st time I have to write a review like this.To summarize: Bad customer service, will not be back again.Edit: Just checked, the guy who contact me through email is also this William guy. Wow.

Scheduled appointment at Mini to have my Cooper system updated. My new phone was not staying connected. Gave me a loaner free of charge within 30 minutes I was on my way. They updated the system and cleaned my car inside and out. It was ready the next morning. Love the service!

The sales technician., Rachel, wasnt very knowledgeable or helpful about the car. She knew no information when asked different things about the car. Nor did she offer up any information regarding it. She handed me the key to the car for test drive. I had to ask her if she would be joining.... she then said oh.... yes, I can go with you. I dont feel as if she wanted too. Very unappealing as a sales rep.Finance dept. Leaves a lot to be desired as well.... about a week later this same car battery died. I am stil waiting on the service department to return my call. l dont get this at all. Very very dissatisfied and disappointed with this dealership.

This was the fastest most efficient service ever. We dropped off the MINI and they ubered us to the mall and picked us up when the car was done. Our Service Tep was Van Mai ... very pleasant, professional... Thank you!

When it comes to car dealerships and car buying knowledge, I usually leave that up to my husband. This time around, the car purchase was for me, so I had no choice but to tag along. No regrets here! The experience was different than any car buying experience I have had in the past. Staff was friendly and helpful without being too aggressive. I felt the staff genuinely cared about me as a customer, and I felt no pressure at all. On top of the wonderful experience, I ended up leaving with the car that I wanted. Love my Mini! :-)

David with the maintenance department was very professional and helpful. My car was ready on time. Communication was easy via phone and text. He arranged for an Uber to get me to and from the dealership.
