It’s very rare that I leave a review, however, I want to leave this. Though my experience replacing a tire with sidewall damage, under warranty, was a smooth and quick transaction on a busy day. This review is about what was happening while I was waiting.**a summary** The clerk could have very easily said “oh yeah, 80,000 miles we really must do everything” but he didn’t. **A man walked in to get tires on his car. The customer started rattling off every recommended item to be “fixed” because the car was at 80,000 miles. Brakes, bearings, fuel filter, the whole 9 yards.The man at the front desk stopped him in his tracks. The clerk said “do you need us to look at the car before we schedule all of these? are you having issues we need to diagnose? I don’t want to just throw parts on your car that are not needed.” Then the clerk explained different details regarding the customers car. Even to the point that the customer’s car did not require fuel filter changes and that tune ups on newer cars are generally just spark plug changes.As a woman, who has dealt with shops that will try to pressure every penny out of you. The way the clerk handled this situation spoke bounds to me.Often people assume things need to be done because the book says so. However, just because the book makes recommendations, doesn’t mean you can’t space these things out or forego until they actually need fixed.This whole interaction grew my trust for this business. I feel I could ask for more explanation without being talked down too.

This place is the definition of rude and impatient. They will literally tell you anything else is wrong with your car for any extra cash they can take from you. Went for a simple alignment and they tried to charge $478 for “other issues” my boyfriend was able to fix within five minutes of taking it back home.Once WE fixed the “other issues” we took it back again and they said yet again something with wrong they didn’t mention even the first time, LOL.After all that, they finished my alignment and had the audacity to be more than nasty toward my boyfriend simply picking up my car.Don’t waste your money here.

Edit: Original 1 star rating changed to 5 stars. Manager Corey reached out to me and made things right, removing the tire disposal fee and extended warranty charges. With supply chain issues, he had a hard time finding the Hankooks I had originally ordered but eventually found some and had them shipped from California. Had the tires put on this morning and he didnt charge me the difference between the generics and the Hankooks, saving me about $30/compensating me for the inconvenience. Very satisfied with the way this was resolved.Original review: I ordered tires online. After the installation was completed and Id driven home, I noticed they charged me for tire disposal even though they left the tires on my old rims, put some generic no-name tires on instead of the Hankooks I ordered, and charged me for an extended warranty without asking if I wanted it. Id give zero stars if possible.

I brought two vehicles to get oil changes. One is my older GMC Sierra. They identified a few potential issues, but called with all the details before doing any work. Super happy with the communication and service. Even scheduled a 3 month follow up oil change on my Sierra to make sure everything continues to look good.

Broke my lug and blamed it on a cross thread but I unscrewed the lug nut off the broke lug bolt with my fingers when the showed it to me then wanted to charge me for them to fix it

Literally best price anywhere and included 65,000 mile waranty where other companies did not! And let me do two tires with deposit to lock in $423 price (4 tires, installation, balancing and tax included) and the next two when I get paid. And, still had me in their system from 12 years ago with a completely different car. Service was excellent. Every time I called, which was often, even if a different person got on the line their system worked so well that they knew exactly who I was, what the car was, and what the deal was.

They have been taking care of my tires on all my vehicles for nearly 20 years. Theyve got really good prices on off brand tires if you need them and some really excellent deals on the name brand ones. The mechanics are awesome too. Now they do the typical thing like suggest wiper blades and filters but they have never recommended anything to me that didnt need to be replaced.

This was where this tire was bought and when they saw where the screw was located, they wouldnt repair the tire and told us we had to buy a new tire and we had to find a tire shop that would repair the tire.

We have gone here for 4 years for all of our vehicle needs. Everyone is always so kind and honest. I have never felt like someone was trying to pull a fast one on me. We appreciate each person there! Thanks for your hardwork!!

Ive had 1/2 good + 1/2 bad experiences here. For the quick (read: emergency) fix, Big O is a good option. For other more routine or bigger $$ things, I go elsewhere. More than once the invoice hasnt tallied up correctly that they are weird about fixing until I got my husband or *actual auto mechanic* dad involved. Then, all of sudden charges disappear. Overall its a nice place but depending on the person working the desk, you may get questionable reasons for labor + parts prices. Luckily, I can sniff out something fishy pretty quickly due to growing up in a shop but others may not.

Big O has done several major repairs on my rather elderly vehicle (its a 1997). The staff works to find the most affordable cost for repairs on older vehicles - this makes a big difference, as older parts are often not readily available. They also never try to sell me on unnecessary repairs - theyre not insistent for me to fix the many other broken/shoddy elements on the car (if they dont make the car unsafe to drive), just the necessary job. Their work is also incredibly efficient, even for fairly intensive repairs! Fast, reliable, and trustworthy - my old car will survive a bit longer thanks to their service!

Im extremely hard on tires and had needed an alignment and new front tires for sometime. An unexpected job interview in Wichita had me panicked as I had less than 24 hours notice. Being out of work, money is tight for an expense like that. Shay got me an alignment and 2 new front tires for what I could afford and it was done in time for me to hit the road. They are great at explaining any issues that are found and providing information around when and why I should get these issues fixed, but I never feel pressured into getting the work done right then and there. My wife had an appointment to have her oil changed, including a tire rotation since we purchased our tires there. Once complete she was notified that they had done something to cause an oil leak, not exactly sure what happened. I do know the next morning their was a large oil spill on our garage floor. She had an appointment to have the repairs made at their cost. She dropped off the car at the scheduled time (2018 model) to have it repaired, told 2-3 hour repair. After 2.5 hours she returned, the vehicle was still parked in the same spot. Nothing had been done. What would you do? She asked them to top off her oil and Big O asked her to drop it off again in the future.

Very courteous and customer conscious group. The day was very busy and everyone treated customers with the utmost respect and patience. Best auto shop I have ever used, customer service is second to none. That is why I keep going back.

I drive for a living and have been a customer of Big O, for over forty years. Today I bought $1000.00 worth of tires in my tire light was on so I figured they would make sure it went out.Being a pilot car owner and operator I depend on that feature a lot with several thousands of pounds behind me.When I went back in the store to tell them Shea, said I had a bad sensor. So why wasnt I told and I would have gotten it replaced.The gentleman that works said drive it and would probably reset its self. That is when I lost it.

The lobby was very pleasant and relaxing, a nice place to wait while my tires were put on. Big O Tire is now my go to place to have my car maintenance done!

Our go-to place for both our vehicles for almost 10 years. Tires and service. Very helpful and friendly staff. More than once this has occurred: Ill ask if some maintenance items need to be done, and theyll say We can do that, but its not anything to worry about this time, you can have it done later if you want. They could easily have taken my money but they seem to like building long term relationships.

Thanks, Cory for getting my nieces car in to check her alignment so quickly! After she was hit in KC on the way here for a visit, we were concerned having her drive back without having it checked first. Good news, everything alignment-wise was fine and you got her back on the road and home safely.

Just went in for a typical tire change and alignment. They said it would take one and half hours so I planned my day around that, show up two hours after I dropped it off and its still not done, I ask how much longer and they tell me it will be another hour. Not upset that it would be a three hour appointment, but let me know it may take up to three hours, or give me an update so I am not running around town and wasting my time waiting. Just communicate better. Poor communication skills.

I always feel confident in the care I receive at Big O Tires. The prices are reasonable and the customer service top notch. Staff is always friendly and up front about whether services are recommended based on timing or in danger and needs care to be safe. If they cannot service the car at the time we need, staff is always flexible to make suggestions on timing.

My work schedule is constantly changing and they were more than happy to reschedule my appointment for me and work about my availability to get everything taken care of that I needed. When I got my tires replaced on Thursday, they were VERY busy that morning, and there was in issue with the tires that I preordered had gone missing, they were able to get a different set of tires of the same quality on my car, without any extra charge. Devin, Shay, and many others were more than happy to help me (as someone who doesnt more much about cars) through the entire process. The customer service at this location is absolutely amazing.

I am preparing for a long road trip, so I took my car in for an inspection and oil change. After the inspection, there were some unexpected issues that needed to be fixed. One of the staff members actually took me into the garage, and pointed out some of the issues he noticed. They were very patient with me while I asked questions, and never pressured me into any decisions. I appreciated everyones assistance, and feel safer knowing that my car is better prepared for the trip.

I was referred to this place and have used them ever since. They are always busy (which shows their well deserved loyalty) but unlike the other businesses, they are able to handle it day in and day out. They give satisfactory results every time at a good price with great service and a smile. Ive used them for everything from brakes and tires to wheel bearings and ball joints to line replacement and routine maintenance. They always walk you through everything and explain in detail the what and why of the situation. I highly recommend this place of business.

For the rating above, I gave product knowledge and expertise a 3 because there was not an NA, was never asked I knew what I wanted. As for the Quality of service, I had an 11:00 appointment and said I didnt need the car right away so it was not a big rush on it. I called the store at 3:30 (They close at 4:00) because I have not heard anything and they were just getting started on it I realize that mechanics get busy but its ridiculous that the car was put to the back of the line because I didnt need it right away. Then when I asked about it, was just told we got busy. If an appointment is made an effort should be to get it out in a timely fashion. Not put it at the back of the line and inconvenience the customer that actually made an appointment and was not a walk-in.

When I raised an issue, it was immediately taken care of. Also they were very honest about my needing an alignment. I really appreciated them not trying to sell me something I did not need.

Need for repair started on a Sunday, and Big O was helpful in getting the car in queue. I received updates, got an estimate that turned out to be accurate, and received the service I needed. People I dealt with were helpful, and job was done completely for a reasonable price - it cost me but its fair when you get what you pay for. Compliments to all who were part of this job.

The very expensive tires that I purchased continuously without fail go flat within a month of using the warranty to get the previous flat fixed or the tire replaced I have been in four times since purchasing the set of tires that ended up around $650 for the tires alone they cannot seem to fix a problem completely.

Absolutely outstanding service at this shop. I pulled into their parking lot this morning before they opened, having experienced two flats on my heavy equipment trailer a few miles down the road. This was the only nearby shop open on a Sunday that we could find online. Before they even turned on their open sign, they let us and had a full set of new trailer tires in stock. When we told them we were waylaid on a cross-country drive, they immediately went to work and we were out of there with 4 new, balanced Class E trailer tires in an hour. Couldnt be more pleased with the quick turn-around and great service!

Open on Sundays and until 6pm on weeknights. Great hours. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Have not had any services other than tires and alignments done but have always had good results and have been happy with my experience.

This team is truly amazing! I had an issue with one of my tires, and I had to come in an hour before closing. I apologized for the inconvenience, but they assured me that they would have taken care of me even if had come in right at closing. They truly care about their customers and do their best to provide the highest quality service. Not only did they have me back on the road within an hour, they fixed my spare tire and provided me with a tire warranty at almost no additional cost. I am beyond impressed with their customer service, their dedication, and their dependability. If I could give Big O Tires higher than a 5/5 rating, I would!

I have been in this shop 4 times to change my car oil. I will never come back.Don’t trust them if they tell you that if they said you need to change your battery or your break because all they want to take as much money from you.

He quoted a price online, raised it before the service. He asked us to drop off vehicle instead of making an apt. We dropped off at 930. never received a call. Finally just showed up at 445 because they close at five. It still wasnt done. We were only having tires put on. Then the desk girl was a little too friendly. . . .ugh. they only reason I am giving them any stars is because our tires havent fallen off.

Have always loved Big O for giving it to you straight and not nickel and diming you. Took my car in to have my AC looked at, they werent able to fix it as it is an extensive process that involves removing the windshield and opening the dash. Called to pay and they didnt charge me a penny as they werent able to do it but still took the time to help me out. People here are awesome and one of the best Ive been to. Thanks so much Big O!

What can I say? You guys (and Shay) are awesome! I brag about you regularly to others & have at least two praise reports from people that gave you a try. This last time, I had a noise that wasnt cooperating for your technician to hear it - until the other morning, when he and I took a drive. The diagnosis was easy after that, and the car has a new blower motor for the heat/ac and I have a lot more air flow! I didnt know how bad it was (I bought the car used) until after the repair! Now - if there was just a senior discount of about 20%.....

I’ve always had exceptional service here. Today, I popped a tire and drove my car directly to Big O, knowing they would take care of me. I was not disappointed. They had my tire replaced and had me on the road again within 45 minutes. I didn’t even have to tell them that I had a plane to catch! Not exactly how I wanted to start my vacation, but these guys made what could have been a horrible day so much better! Highly recommend them.
