I was so disappointed in Commonwealth motors…. called for service appointment because i did not feel safe driving my car and the service person who answered the phone was rude and uncooperative in setting up a service appointment. I explained that I did not feel safe driving my car and he said I could not get an appointment for 5 days. I have had my car serviced at commonwealth since I bought it there in 2016…. guess I will have to change to another Nissan location…. within 10 minutes after posting above review I got a call from Kevin who arranged a service call for me to bring my car in later today…. THANK U Kevin…. that is the type of service I have always received from Commonwealth Motors and I really do appreciate it… u have restored my high opinion of Commonwealth Motors…
Me and my wife had the best salesman we have ever had rob Camberlain was awesome. Kept us in the loop the whole time also answered my call or called right back.great guy ! Definitely worth the trip to commonwealth Nissan.
I went into buy a used car (priced 24937$) and we were negotiating price for 23500$. He disrespected me and my friend by handing over my card and showing the doors to leave. Simply could have politely said we can’t work on that price instead of telling someone to get out.
Came in for an oil change and it was accomplished as before. No apparent problem. Later noticed that the oil change sticker on the windshield had. Cant see what Ive written.not been changed. Brought it back and told them my doubts. After some resistance got a free next oil change as a courtesy. At home noticed spots on my driveway. Oil leak apparently. Got under truck and made sure oil plug was tight. It was yet oil continued to spot driveway. As an aside I was told numerous times that the maintenance system on the truck

I had an alternator issue with my 2015 Murano. as my local mechanic was unwilling to do the work, he suggested i contact a dealership as it would probably be cheaper, a lot of labor replacing it. I had to have it towed, and spoke with service advisor Eleaser Cristian who promptly had the alternator diagnosis confirmed and quickly scheduled the repair servicein order to get the car back to me the next day. Thank you Eli and Commonwealth Nissan.
Never again. I was totally on my own and they knew it. Also impossible to reach and Nissan motor finance Corp was more helpful and responsive.
My yellow check engine light soon came on … did a inspection ..reset as the sensor that through the light was working properly. They did not charge me for this service…❤️
Absolutely horrible sales tactics. Was told that all new vehicles are priced $5000 over sticker because of shortages. When I asked about this I was also told all dealerships are doing this and that they would help me out on my trade. Trade came back under appraisal of course and that was that. While I was waiting at the dealership I called other dealers and they said this is not a good practice. Not illegal but very unethical. I left and went to another dealership and bought the same vehicle $500 under invoice and $1600 more for my trade. Maybe someone at the top could rethink how to treat your potential customers.

Updating Review and will continue if Nissan support continues. Original rating 1 star, but both Commonwealth Nissan and Nissan Corp. is reviewing our situation. Hoping Nissan Corp can resolve but at least there is now great communication with Commonwealth.Genuinely Poor Customer Service-The wife and I have been customers of Commonwealth Nissan for 5 yrs, purchasing 2 new vehicles. We found out this week when going in for an oil change that there is an issue with her rack and pinion steering. The vehicle is 3 yrs old and the estimate to fix is appx 2300.00. I called and spoke to the service manager David after the wife came home and he advised me, well you didnt take out an extended warranty so there is really nothing I can do. While I understand things break, I wanted more info on the issue as I really questioned something this major on a car still fairly new and that has an impeccable maintenance record. The customer service was less than adequate for loyal customers so I called back and spoke to Benny the Sales Manager. I explained our situation and wanted to confirm that there was nothing that could be done as we do trade her vehicle every 4 years and would remain a customer. He promised me that he would both check with David to see if he could get the price down and also call me back as soon as he had info. It has now been 3 days and no call back.
Had a clunk coming from underneath front of my altima.Inspection also showed a leaky strut. Car was repaired by cob next day. Eval also showed some other areas of concern but I deferred those for now
Problem fixed promptly and the repair tech was great!!! Give him a bonus.

We did shop around a little, and then called him back to see what he could do for the miodel we wanted with some additional upgrades. It was during the height of the pandemic (talk about timing) and everything from test drives, to paperwork was super clean and Covid friendly. It was a good experience, Jerome was a great help - came in early to meet me the day I picked up my car, as I was limited as to when to get there. Benny the sales manager was great too, not very pushy but was helpful. It was a Saturday afternoon appointment and didnt want to be there for hours on end. Was out of there within 2 to 3 hours max. Great Express Service in a quick time. I went for an inspection on my Honda Pilot they told me that will take approximately 1 hour for the amount of vehicles in line. I sat on a nice waiting room with refreshments and in 20 minutes my vehicle was ready. I take my Pilot for oil change too. Recommend this place to anyone needing Honda Services.

It was full of problems and my warranty was running out, making me fearful to drive the vehicle thinking it will run out of warranty and into many more problem..I came to commonwealth skeptical and tired out from the run-a-round the other dealership had put me through but to my surprise it was the complete opposite!Erwin and the other team members worked with me non-stop for two days taking my problematic 2019 nissan rouge and a 2007 jeep compass that was denied at the other dealership and trading them in for a 2020 Honda Accord!!Their saying SHOP US LAST! is NO JOKE. Ive never bought a car from this company and i have been getting automatic messages constantly from them for the past 3 years and again i have to say I NEVER BOUGHT A CAR FROM THEM. Every time i call back they can never find anybody in their system with my number but i still get the messages. I bought a car from another company a month ago and never considered these guys cos of this bad service.

On 6/8/20 I had to get an inspection sticker and update my ECM for fast charger on my Nissan Leaf. It took 3 hrs to have this done. Due to Covid 19 we had to wait outside and was never offered anything to drink. No vending machine outside or anything. They also have not fixed their fast charging station in years. If you want to waist your time this is the perfect place to go. Otherwise I would try somewhere else.

Terrible experience with the finance department. Total lack of communication of the facts of both previous and new loan. When I asked questions I was given a run around answer of “oh that’s just how I have to put it on paper until your loan is paid off”. I was obviously stupidly naive and taken advantage of. When they say they will “pay off” your loan (for the car your trading in), apparently that means they will pay it off but then tack that same loan amount onto the NEW loan. I was told that is what happens 100% of the time with all loans. I guess shame on me! When financing with them be sure to ask all sorts of questions and know what the “agreement” is prior to signing.
My wife just took our 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport in for an oil change and tire rotation. She loves the fact that the car gets washed after the service is provided. This is the 3rd vehicle we have bought at Commonwealth and we will continue to shop there.

I scheduled an appt for a test drive. I ended up leaving without one. Was told my credit score isnt that great so if I purchase the car that I did NOT test drive yet, Im catching a great deal no one else would offer. My credit is 680 btw. The sales associate asked me how I planned on downing the car. I said I wanted to trade in my car. First he told me my car was worth $500. He told me it wouldnt even pass inspection. I get my inspections done by them though. He also said I wouldnt be able to sell my car privately to anyone without breaking the lemon law. After walking back and forth speaking with his manager and myself he then asks me what I was trying to accomplish by going there. I told him I wanted a test drive and if I like the car I wanted to see their numbers. He handed me a paper with the numbers and said well u got your numbers. It said $300 for my car on it. And that was the end. My family and I have purchased multiple cars from them for over the past 10 years and we will never ever go back. If I could give a negative rating I would.

Being a new resident it was required to have a Massachusetts state inspection completed. After my car was inspected I was informed that my front wipers and both side marker lights needed to be replaced and was quoted a cost and asked if I wanted to proceed. I asked to see the car and technician in person. Both of my wiper blades were replaced just two days earlier in preparation for the inspection (the old blades were even in the trunk with the packages from the new blades). After I questioned it, I was told the blades were fine, just dirty and that they passed. As for the front side markers (both sides) only the passenger side was not working. The left side was working when I came out to the garage. The technician claimed that he had to “bang” on the light for it to come on. In the end out of the 4 items I was quoted as “necessary” only one was needed. This whole experience seriously put the company’s integrity into question. Unfortunately, I can say that this was not a good first impression of the business.

In the past I had great experiences there but my experience was only so so this time. I dont know if it is just that the VW part isnt as good as the Honda part bc this is my first experience with VW. It Took 11 days to get my car after purchasing it. They blamed my insurance but weve used this insurance for years and never had that issue. Then I was promised the car would be all set to go when I picked it up but it wasnt. Then there was a scratch on the interior (will update if they fix it- which Ive requested) and now I find out the VW Atlas with Technology doesnt come with home link! In this day and age what car doesnt come with that....since that issue is with VW not the dealership, my issue is that the salesman didnt make sure I was aware of that. I wouldnt have gotten the car if I had known. Nowadays I think people expect it and he should have told me. My 2011 car had it so certainly a 2018 vehicle with so called technology should have it so when it doesnt, let a customer know! It has remote start and stupid on star but not a garage door opener! Seriously of course I just assumed it came with it. Then my salesman told me to come at a certain time and wasnt even there. He had someone else deliver my car and they said I was late bc he told them I was coming a half hour earlier than we agreed on. All these things made for a frustrating unimpressive experience. Now I am stuck with a car I regret getting thanks to the salesman not telling me that. I am sad to say based on this particular experience I dont recommend Commonwealth motors.Update: They did take care of the scratch so I want to give them credit for following through.

I purchased my current car from Commonwealth Motors at the end of October 2018 and I had a really great experience overall. It was my first time buying a car and Commonwealth made it quick, easy, and not as nerve-wracking as most would think buying a car would be.
