We visited a few days ago for my birthday and found that the service and friendliness was outstanding. The ladies were very helpful and yes we made purchases. Definitely a must stop when out shopping in a Laurel.
I was shopping in Laurel, Mississippi today (because my wife and her sisters told me downtown Laurel was going through a renovation and was featured on HGTV), so I took a stroll and visited the shops. I went to Bella Bella but didnt find anything I liked. I stopped by other shops and on my way back to my truck I passed by and saw something in the window that I hadnt seen previously. I pulled on door handle and it was locked. Apparently they were closed for the day. I turned away and as I did I heard a door close behind me. As I turned around to see who was there, I noticed one of the employees from Bella Bella looking at me as she turned a corner. I was about to cross the street to where I was parked, a policeman stopped me and started grilling me. Another policeman showed up with bulletproof vest and all as the first one was still questioning me. They were speaking to the girl from Bella Bella and asked her if she wanted to press charges. Press charges?!? For what??? I was only trying to support small businesses during a time of dire need. I am 65 years old and not a threat to anyone. Sorry Laurel Mississippi, you just lost a valuable customer!
