Carlos Cordon was very patient in answering all my questions. Unlike most car salesmen who once they get the notion that you arent gong to buy right then and there they dont waste their time with you, that is the contrary with Carlos. Jen! Amazing & very insightful. My main worry was having my credit dinged multiple times. that was not the case, she explained to me how it worked & gave me peace of mind with her insight. I love this place and the customer service my husband and I received. I called in and made an appointment to get some work done. We showed up and Rob helped us. He was great! He didnt promise what he couldnt deliver. They had to order a part so I had to come back the next day to drop it off. As Rob promised he had the shuttle ready to drop me off at work, once my truck was done he called me and had the shuttle pick me up. When I arrived I checked out, Rob had my truck pulled up and I was off to work. What a smooth and stress free process. We will be back.
Took the car for two simple things: oil change and software update. As soon as I left the dealership check engine light came on for faulty oil sensor. Possibly could have been damaged during an oil change or maybe caused by software update, either way it could have been avoided by tech test driving the car especially after the update and giving you a heads up about giving you a car back with CEL on when it was perfectly fine before dropping it off. They also didn’t put the undercarriage shield on correctly after repairs, it’s not a big deal but makes you wonder about quality of work. Only reason for three stars, and not one, is because they did order the part and fixed the issue.
After being lied to by the Silver Spring VW dealership, I decided to try this dealership. Good decision. I met Michael and explained everything to him on my situation. I had a 2012 VW GTI SE and wanted to get the 2021 VW GTI SE. I just paid off the 2012 the day before. They had several GTIs on the lot so I picked one and Michael let me test drive it (alone). I love the vehicle and was able to drive off the lot the same day. I loved the professionalism and honesty of the dealership. I revisited to have window visors and mud flaps installed and they treated me like I was VIP. The service department is top notch. I could not get my car washed that day so they gave me a coupon for one when I visit in the future. They also put my tags on with no problem. I recommend them for any service. I pass two VW dealerships to get to this one and dont mind it. I love the location, right off the BW parkway. There is a lot of things they went out of there way to make it happen. Finance Dept. is top notch too.
They messed a lot of paperwork up had multiple follow up for documents they needed seconds of, missed signatures at signing. Need more training to get these things right the first time and add to improve customer service. When signing it seemed like they were just going down lists to try to up sell rather then trailering the conversation to the customer.
Just leased a brand new 2021 Atlas. Erick and Issac were absolutely fantastic during the whole process! Not only were they so helpful and kind, they were very honest with what we could afford and the best options for us to proceed down. I am so pleased overall with my experience here. Hello my name is sergio I am prior service from the marines and I was a customer of this establishment, and to my surprise after I fell 15 feet from a roof, I couldn’t make a payment to them as I explained I was on worker Comp and it takes time for them to send you money and it also comes by check which is mail and that takes even more time unwilling to work with me I was called today to pick up my vehicle and get it off the lot never once did I refuse payment or say I wouldn’t pay it was just timing and circumstance, in all of you or a loved one has used this establishment please be mindful that the state of the world or your household will not be understood or cared about in anyway shape or form this to me shows that they don’t care about our community so find a dealer who will these people aren’t it may god bless
Richard was pleasant and professional. I came for an oil change but had concerns about my a/c unit. He explained options and made process of applying for credit easy.They were supposed to do a multi point inspection and rotate my tires. However, before I could make it out of parking lot the warning light came on indicating low pressure on my right front passenger side. Interesting enough the light had come on just prior to me bringing it in and it was not addressed.This is my second time having them do work and they’ve missed details or left something out.Richard was great but it takes a team Ourisman and it’s all about the details!
We went in with the intentions of only getting a trade in value quote. Donny was very polite when he approached Chris and I, made us feel very welcomed. While we waited on the trade in value Donny was very professional in using our time wisely, showed us around the lot, took a test drive, and talked about our options. Donny along with his financial team Tyrone were great! We walked away with an amazing car and felt so blessed to have had the opportunity to work with both Donny and Tyrone. Branden Grimm found me exactly what I needed, in the price range I asked for and worked very hard to get my interest rate and monthly payment down as low as possible - which he did!!!. He was professional, fast and accommodating. I was going back and forth about one of his cars vs. one I saw at a different dealership earlier that day and he was honest and transparent about the pros and cons on both. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the many different models I asked him about and he explained it simplistically to me which allowed me to make a quicker decision. I’ve been to this dealership about 7-8 times now after buying a used car here less than a month ago… and I don’t just live around the corner. They could care less about inconveniencing you. Service and sales department are both unbearably slow. You tell them you need three things done to the car and they do one. You tell them to order something for the vehicle before you even purchase it, and they need reminding about 4-5 times before they do it. Dealership is extremely disorganized and maybe could make use out of a notepad to remember/remind themselves about some things. They could also make use out of possibly communicating with one another instead of asking me constantly if something has been done. Jen Smith in the finance department is the only one that has functioning brain cells. As a young buyer who could have had a lifetime relationship with this dealership, I cannot wait to never have to come back here again.
My wife and I bought a used 2018 Volkswagen Atlas from this dealership last week. Our vehicle had a couple of cosmetic dents when we bought it. We negotiated repairs throughout the buying process and Tim, our salesman told us they have a collision center that will take care of us.When I brought the vehicle in for repairs at 10:00am I was quoted 4-6 hours and given a loaner vehicle. I drove around town in the loaner vehicle for approximately 8 hours and eventually decided to make my way back to the dealership. I drove my loaner vehicle through the lot to look at all the cars the dealership has. The dealership has a lot tucked away on a hill. When I drove my loaner vehicle up the hill I saw my car being painted outside... not exactly the collision center that was promised to me. Out of curiosity I stuck around to discreetly witness the work that was being done.While my vehicle was being painted outside two employees drove up the hill in a white Volkswagen (Jetta I believe) into the same lot my car was being worked on. The employees proceeded to do donuts in the parking lot. This behavior is not only unprofessional but also unacceptable near a vehicle getting painted outside given the amount of debris this kicks up.When I picked up the vehicle I noticed debris in the paint job, a couple of small bubbles and a textural difference compared to the rest of my car. I pointed out my dissatisfaction and was told what a good deal I got on the car.I called the Ourisman collision center directly today and pretended to be an average customer asking questions. The collision center assured me they have the proper tools to repair dents and paint jobs indoors and they do not paint their cars outside.I called the sales manager(Ricky) and expressed the discrepancy between what I was told would be done to my car versus what was actually done. The sales manager told me it is normal for them to paint used cars outside and told me I could come in for a new paint job but the process would be the same.This is unacceptable. I do not trust this dealership to get the work done and will not be going back to them for anything. They are not honest about the things they promise and they cut corners where they can.

Right from the beginning, he took the time to understand what we were looking for, didnt try to push us into a car we didnt want, and helped us understand how the process would work. When he ultimately couldnt find us the car we wanted, he took the extra time to point us in the right direction and offered to answer any questions we might have down the road. We will absolutely be contacting Jack and the team in Laurel again when its time to purchase another car.
I have dealt with a few different dealerships in the area and have even purchased/leased vehicles in another ourisman location I’m going to say that my experience with this dealership has been the best by far! I already knew what I wanted and I was able to negotiate through the phone and come in when I was available. The process was quick and smooth. Everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. I will definitely recommend them.
Stay away from this dealership. This is the first time that Im writing a negative review but I feel that its my obligation. Since day 1, it was clear that something in wrong with this dealership. The staff are inpatient and rude, and the place feels tired and out of shape. The only reason that I moved forward with the deal is that they had a specific model that I was looking for. Knowing what I know today, this was a mistake. I personally worked with Ricky Dickens who did all that he could to make my experience terrible. As if he was trying to punish the owners of the company. This was surprising to me because I was very impressed with Ourisman in Bethesda and believed in this brand. My conclusion is that not every Ourisman is the same, if you can, you should definitely avoid this branch.BTW - The next-door Honda Ourisman seem to be great!

2019 VW Golf Overhead handle above the front passenger seat wouldnt spring load to the up position causing it to hang down and hit passengers in the head. Called two other VW dealerships in the area and both said Id have to pay a $150 diagnostic fee and it probably wouldnt be covered under warranty. Rick at VW Laurel said to stop by and as long as they have the part in stock, theyll take care of it. I was in and out in about 30 minutes and it was covered under warranty. This all happened on a Saturday morning. Rick and the VW service team represent the best in the automotive industry. VW Laurels advisors and mechanics wanted to help instead of come up with random charges and threats of non-warrantied problems. Thank you for your flexibility!
When you go in there ask for Paul. He held it down and helped me out. I was really nervous about trading in my old car because lets be real ... that’s my baby lol. I really like this new car and I keep finding new things about it that my old car didn’t have. Definitely my best investment so far this year. Thanks Paul and thanks VW. ☺️

I took my VW in for its first oil change. I walked into the service department and said hello. No one greeted me back or even looked up to acknowledge me. I noticed all four men were eating so I said Hello a little louder thinking my mask 😷 muffled my greeting. Only one of the men acknowledged me and that was Robert. He was great during the whole process. I asked another customer if he experienced the same lack of acknowledgment or greeting when he arrived. He advised me, “sometimes they’re like that”. They REALLY need to work on that!!!

I came to purchase a car and the manager (Ricky) of the used car sales division was very rude when I tried discussing the price of the car with him . I’m very disappointed about the way I was treated. It’s totally fine to reject an offer but you cannot be that rude . Tim the sales associate was actually very nice . It’s a shame .

My sales person Leslie was great would recommend her to anyone, except the fact she works for this dealership that I would not recommend to my worse enemy. I bought a vehicle and not even a week later I was having wheels put on when they noticed the wheel bearings were completely locked up. I was told by the used car MANAGER that the vehicle went through state inspection and their inspection to make sure everything was safe. I go to them saying the wheel bearings were completely locked up and the manager refused to work with me or even hear me out. It’s a dealership who refuses to own up to their mistakes that could have led to me and other people getting injured. I do not recommend them
Showed up, and we were ready to buy a car. Jack approached us and asked us exactly what we were looking for, and he delivered. He talked us through what model options were available for the car we were interested in, and he assured us we would be able to find our car that day. After finding a car and falling in love, we knew it was a little over our budget. Jack went to discuss our pricing options with his manager, and thats when Bill came to talk to us. Bill explained that while the car was over our budget, he knew we needed a car, especially after just having a baby a few days prior and returning from living overseas, and he wanted to give us the car we longed for and loved. Bill broke down the pricing, and asked if we could go higher in our budget. We couldnt, and Bill decided that was okay, and ended up giving us the price we asked for. Needless to say, our experience was quick and painless. Jack and Bill were awesome, and we took home our brand new car that afternoon. We couldnt be happier with our experience at Ouriaman Volkswagen.

Service Department: This place is the definition of nickel and dime and immoral service department. If you are not mechanically inclined or have no idea of cost this place is not for you. They wanted to charge me $190 to look at a simply blinker issue that I had already diagnosed. And they were wanting to charge me this price saying it is likely a bulb that is out. I originally went in for a keyless door failure. They would not provide me a statement of proposed work to show why it would cost $700. Avoid this place if possible. And they failed to wash my car.
Honestly, I’m not impressed and we are only in month two of my son’s purchase of a “Certified” Pre-Owned Volkswagen.We noted at purchase the rear brakes were at 30%. They assured us the car passed inspection. After today, and sinking $300 WITH the Gold Protection Plan, to fix the leaking AC system, the brakes AND pitted rotors will need replacing, over a $700 repair.Why does this bother me? Well, at purchase my son and I asked if the car would need any major service soon. We were ASSURED it was a good first car and we would not be dumping cash into it. My son graduated college one month later, and now two months into owning the car it needs $1200 in repairs.Certified, my elbow. Protection plan, riiight.Buyer beware. Never had a problem with CarMax, I wish we’d purchased from them.
Rick was waiting for me upon my arrival for my scheduled appointment. My car was serviced on time & when finished, Rick explained what was done. Quick, professional, efficient experience.
I was very happy until I went to pay at which time I found out they no longer took personal checks. The bill was higher than my daily credit card limit. I had to figure a way around it on the spot. A little warning and it could have been easily handled.
I worked with Leslie on buying a used Volkswagen. She helped me get a very fast, very transparent deal. She was upfront about the actual price, and clear about what the dealership could and could not do. When I declined a service, they lowered their price substantially; the final deal was several thousand dollars below what I found at other VW dealerships in the area, and they played no games at all with me. No hidden fees, no bait-and-switch. I will definitely take future business there.

Very easy process. got a ride home when they said it would be a while then they got me into a loaner when they told me it really would be a while. then i got my car back washed up and i didnt feel a thing...great service all around.....

Between you and me I wouldve paid slightly more.Can you believe that!???Nothing more to say except I will go straight to Bill and Goldie in Laurel if I or anyone I like need a car!!!!!
Advertise cars at low prices that they will later change and tell you its because it needs work and then up the price after youve driven out to see it. They also did a terrible job sealing a VWs (that I bought elsewhere) sunroof after they quoted me more than I spent on the car itself to actually fix it, resulting in water leaking inside the car and causing mold. Oh, and for some reason they took off my tints as well. I never asked for that. STAY AWAY!

Made an appointment for a recall, a day prior to the appointment a get a phone call to confirm/remand of the appointment, I bring my vehicle in at 7am only to be told they do not have the part, they have to order it, and will call me when it comes in!The appointment was made 5 days in advance and that should’ve been plenty of time to have the part in!How come the lady that called to confirm the appointment did not say that the part was not in?

I kid you not folks this Ourisman Volkswagen dealership is a good experience for me personally. The Services Manager Mr. Rick Collins was so kind and respectful..Met me for the first time and showed care, empathy and understanding. He told me to try and get there first thing in the morning as they ( Service Department ) open by 7AM and that info was very helpful as I got there 6:30AM.... They kept me informed about work progress on my VW.. I watched the mechanic do his thing looking through the glass slot of the closed door..as he had no idea I was watching him, and he seem to enjoy his work and was respectful to the way he handled my car.. I saw him work as if he was taking great care and at the same time being proud of his work and knowledge of the repairs to be done..I saw the body language of this particular mechanic move with happiness doing his work on MY CAR... and it made me feel grateful to have brought it to this particular Agency..I promised the staff moving forward that all repairs and services will be done at this location without hesitation.. Out of respect for a salesperson who was my first contact at any of the Ourisman dealerships, I gave her an opportunity to sell me a car that was available for a great TrueCar price at the Rockville location. That was my mistake; I should have trusted my instincts and simply gone to Rockville. The car was available, per the public-facing website, but was showing as sold on Ourismans internal database. Instead of picking up the phone and confirming that it was available, Laurel staff told me it was sold, despite the fact that Id just been offered a test drive by Rockville, and despite the fact that the website showed it as available.Well, the next day, that car really did sell (which was no surprise, given the fantastic TrueCar price). Rather than apologize, I received no replies from the Laurel salesperson to my text messages of yesterday, and then, when I sent a reminder that my texts had gone unanswered, the Laurel staff offered to sell me a substantially identical unit for over $3,000 more than the TrueCar price of the car at Rockville. No, thank you! I didnt just fall off the bagel truck!Im negotiating with another dealership that is exhibiting respect for me.

I took my car to the Ourisman VW dealership for service today due to error on dashboard Transmission in emergency mode. The service representative listened throughly and took my car for service which completed within 4 hours. Also, received a note listing what other service need to be done. I would like to say the service that I received was good with 5 star rating.

My recent visit to the service department was worthy of zero stars! The service department lacks quality control and most of all clear communication with their customers. As a result of a small imperfection in my headliner my brand new car was dismantled. This is work that I did not authorize. At the end of this nightmare, my service ticket did not reflect the work that was done to my car. As a loyal customer of this dealership I feel like I should be compensated for this awful experience. I traded the car because I wasn’t confident that the car would be free of further service based on how they returned my car to me on the first service visit.
