Bait and switch, lies, threats, broken promises and wasting time are what I dont think they are too different than other dealerships there are no politeness what a language the use i never never requested any one to come and spend money with that kind of management .when buying a car did not involve dealing with people like this.

Antonio helped to make the process of purchasing a vehicle so enjoyable!!Me and my Mom wanted to look at used cars... Antonio moved one of the cars for me and I was able to inspect the exterior and interior.We browsed in the lot, and I saw a good selection of used cars available.Antonio also showed me and my Mom pics of cars online (on a tablet/device). We analyzed and discussed different aspects, such as mileage and pricing.Antonio made me and my Mom feel welcome and we were very comfortable, and he answered our questions and talked to us about options.I was able to find a used car that I liked, but it was in another location.So... Antonio worked to get the vehicle moved!After the car I liked was moved to the Laurel location, Antonio inspected the vehicle for me, and he even sent pics to my cell phone of the exterior and interior of the vehicle. I wanted to know if the car smelled good, and so Antonio checked and confirmed!! Thank God!!!!!!So I went to the dealership to get the car, and it was in excellent condition. It did smell good inside, the car was clean and looked great!! Antonio was right!!! I WAS IMPRESSED!!!!!!Antonio was so patient, reassuring, calm, and kind throughout the process.There was a process to go through concerning the financing. Edison Van Vlimmeren was in charge of the financing...what a nice guy!! He was the Finance Manager. Very knowledgeable. Edison explained about the different warranties and gap coverage, and he was such a joy to deal with!!!! Edison helped me to understand the choices I got to make, concerning the financing. He is a good man!!My Mom had accompanied me to the dealership....and she loved both Antonio and Edison!!!! EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!
My husband and I identified a car we wanted. We spoke with Charles on the phone. He got us the information we needed. He followed up by phone and text. When we arrived he was as nice as could be and efficient. Paperwork is a lengthy process and Charles was the best. He worked quickly and covered everything and walked us through the whole process. We highly recommend you ask for Charles. He’s incredibly helpful and a super nice guy.

The First day i came when i picked my car i was very happy with the customer service and speed of the associate but when i returned two days later i had to work with a different associate and he was more interested in the talking and having conversation with other people than helping me to buy my car. It wasn’t until i stated what i had for my downpayment that he took interest in helping me.
I have bought a few vehicles through Carmax, but these last two transaction has not been good. The last 2 vehicles I purchased have had to be brought back to Carmax for maintenance issues. Carmax need to do a better job of preventative maintenance checks. This experience has not been the best. Kudos to the service department for at least trying to accommodate me. Great job service department.
Long wait time, but the employees were nice, pleasant, and professional mostly.(After initial diagnostic) There was an incident with damage being done to my vehicle during the diagnostic and the service manager demonstrated a lack of empathy, customer service, and professionalism. (They wanted me to pay $700 for the damage theyd caused!)Ive always had a positive experience with Toyota service centers though we likely will not return to this one.*Update*I was advised to contact the general manager to complain and I sent him a letter detailing our horrible experience. The GM, Chris, called me to let me know that hed received my letter and that he would look into the issue and get back to us. NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HIM!After our experience, we werent really surprised.
I would definitely recommend CarMax Ive bought several cars from them. This was the first time that I had to return it because I didnt like. That process in itself was very smooth. They didnt ask any questions they just completed the transaction. I am very happy with my experiences.

When we arrived to check out a car that was on the ground, the dealer assured us we were first in line. We took a short test drive. When we returned to the dealership, we found out someone else had bought the car. We were livid. One star seems too good for Sheehy Toyota.
I bought a 2021 Toyota 4 Runner from Sheehy Toyota in July of this year. Great car. I have three 4 Runners now. However Sheehy is not a great dealership. Far from it. I bought the car 12 weeks ago. My main home is in Florida. I paid Florida sales tax and the necessary charges for my Fl. tags and registration and title. I have received none of these as of yet. The people in charge of this at Sheehy give me nothing but voice assurance that I will get my tags and all soon. They do not act, however. They do not even answer their phone(s). Florida DMV tells me that they can do nothing until they get the paperwork from Sheehy dealership. Sheehey has sent them nothing. It has been 90 days. Sheehy dealership is inept, incompetent, maladroit.
What can I say about this dealership? My deal from start to finish was quick and professional. I was working with Felix (sales) and he was able to doctor a great deal that other dealerships couldnt even match. We drove from New Hampshire down to Laurel on a Saturday to pick up this car and we were out of there in less than an hour. Felix ensured we got a new car buying experience that was unforgettable. I highly recommend anyone to go to this dealership (ask for Felix) if youre considering a Toyota, because these guys and gals will make sure to make your experience an awesome one! No thanks. They use old abusive and aggressive sales tactics. Two stars because they had excellent selection, but also two stars because they gas lighted my husband and I. They stood in front of our car so we could not leave. The salesmen talked mostly to my husband even though I said that I was the purchaser. They constantly tried to convince my husband that he had said things that he did not. For instance, he asked what the final price would be, the salesman printed them off, and then came back and said congratulations on getting a truck. My husband again repeated that he just wanted a price and the rep started to whine about how we cant change our minds since we already said yes. We never once said we were getting the truck. My husband and I just wanted the price. We didnt want someone telling us what were doing with our money.They still havent sold the truck we wanted a week later. But we went to Motor World in Frederick and got an amazing deal on the same truck, and the sales rep talked to me and never once put words into our mouths.
Left my car at 9am, was told it would be done in about an hour and wasnt able to get it until 3pm. Called around 1pm and they werent even able to find my car. So he restarted his computer, is what he said, and told me it would be another hour and apologized. And obviously it wasnt another hour as when I went there around 2:15 they said it would be another 20 minutes, and again it wasnt. I got my car around 3:10. Quite disappointed honestly. There werent many cars there and I had an appointment. Not even a walk-in. I wish I could say never coming here again like I would for a restaurant. But unfortunately I might have to.

Unfortunately the trucks I inquired about were unavailable, however he took the time to try and go above and beyond to find another close option that fit my needs. I greatly appreciate all he did and the time he put in to help me. I would recommend his services to everyone thats looking to buy a car.

We just had a bad experience at a Sheehy Toyota dealer yesterday trying to buy a new Rav4 Prime for my wife. We agreed on a MRSP Price with no mark-up, their policy, paid a $2500 deposit, we went to pick up the car a few hours after delivery. We started to discuss finances. There were over $3000 of mandatory options added to the bottom line. A spray protector for $1295 and some VIP package for $995. When we asked them to remove them, we didnt want them. They offered to remove most of it, but left $895, for the spay protector, their bottom line. We had to walk. I just want an upfront honest dealer. Update 9/25 I called as suggested a couple of times, finally left a message with a human; no reply go figure

After having a very terrible experience at another dealership, I was relieved at how wonderful my time was with Sheehy Laurel. My sales person, Muhammad Nadeem, was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The sales manager, Newton Gentry, was amazing. He catered to my every need and made my car buying experience the best possible. He exceeded all of my expectations. I have already recommended Sheehy Laurel to a couple close friends. What an outstanding experience it was to do business with the Sheehy Toyota of Laurel dealership. From the very time I walked in with my husband and three children I thoroughly enjoyed my time. This may be the best dealership in the entire country! I wanted a specific SUV, with specific features and I wanted a good price. After calling at least 50 Toyota dealerships (no kidding) looking for this hard to get SUV Kevin Alder and Mike Spero came through for me! They were both responsive to my questions, forthright on timing/cost and helpful through the entire process.When other dealerships would say, no we wont see one of those for months (or years!), or we have one coming but we are charging thousands more than sticker price, Kevin and Mike said let us see what we can find and well get back to you.The entire process was smooth and quick. We bought a new car here a few weeks ago and it was a great experience. There was limited stock and our salesman, Nadeem, worked quickly to ensure we got the car. Their finance department worked to get us a better rate on our loan than our bank had. Overall a good experience. Their service department is also efficient and does a good job.
My original interaction was with Elvis, a salesperson over the phone, he’s was professional and had a Magnetic gray 2021 Tacoma Off Road for me to test drive. He has also states that they (dealership) had great savings to offer. Upon arrival, Elvis greeted me and had me on the road for a test drive right away, which was great. The car wasn’t cleaned or in great presentation. Normally I don’t but it changed my mind completely on the color ( which I know own because the color looks much different when cleaned up). I also wasn’t given any additional savings expect for the rebate which I saw online and didn’t have to make the house long trip. Bottom line, don’t promise what you can’t deliver, and presentation is key.

This review is for a service employee named Darrel. I went in for my first service of my 2021 RAV 4 today. He checked me in and had great professional tone and conversation. Answered all my questions and concerns. Being my first appointment for a 5000 mile check nothing should have been an issue. Unfortunately there was a small issue I had a concern about. At check out another employee whom I won’t name did not meet what I thought would be a standard in this day and age about my concern. Instead of complaining I simply asked for my keys to leave. While at my vehicle Darrel came and waved me to talk. He clearly knew by my interaction with the other employee I was not happy with my service. I was floored!!! This is the kind of employees companies need, recognizing customers needs, knowing if someone may not be happy before leaving, offering a simple solution to a simple problem. He fixed my issue within minutes and made my experience incredible. Bravo to Darrel for going above and beyond for me to have a great experience, and for the other employee this review would have definitely been a one star. Darrel changed that. THANK YOU!
Don’t even waste your time. Ordered a RAV4 in early September and was told allocation would be October. Ok, no problem, BUT then get a call it would be December…ok I’m forgiving 🤷♂️ no problem. So told them why’ll waiting need a truck. Salesman was great btw and sent me in stock inventory. Found the truck I wanted, no problem, but worked Monday. Again no problem, would give 10k instantly to hold that truck 🤷♂️ Had to make a call to the manager and was called back with a no. Asked for my $2.5k on my RAV4 deposit after I called DARCARS Toyota and have the same truck in stock cheaper and can have an ordered RAV4 sooner and cheaper than December! I will update this review if I eat my words but doubt it! Salesman was amazing but “higher ups” are clowns 🤡
Initial car buying experience was fantastic! follow up with service department has been horrible. no one answers the phone, and no calls back after multiple messages to fix the vehicle. Almost as if they want the warranty to run out so they dont have to fix anything
Michael Ringgold was very responsive and helpful. Even though we were not able to find the car I was looking for I would still recommend him and would definitely seek him out in the future.
Dont expect to get a direct answer or to be here less than 2 hours. They are not helpful, super slow and dont give time estimates ever. If you have any schedule constraints that day, do not come here. Go on a day when you are wide open, have eaten and are in general good spirits because they will keep you till you are hangry and cranky.

Admittedly its still a pandemic, but everything took a LONG time with the purchase of the vehicle...from the transfer from Brandywine to Laurel that took almost a week...to the actual purchase, which left us sitting, twiddling our thumbs for extended periods.But the people we dealt with were wonderful and the car is the bomb!!
I’ve used this dealership for over a decade when it was Carmax and had consistently great experiences. My spouse meanwhile bough a car from Sheehy and has had nothing but awful experiences. I cringed when I saw Sheehy took over and my first service experience after the change was a nightmare that resulted in me returning a week later due to a lack of communication by a Service Advisor named Mike Sheehi. I will say that their customer service recovery was excellent, Rosemary (Service Manager?) and David V (Service Advisor) were helpful, honest, and didn’t try to oversell me. I will return to this location because of those two employees.

My time at the dealership was exceptionable, the sales person was professional and the transfer of business was dont in a timely faction. My only complaint was the business office, not that the employee was not knowledgeable, some forms took a very long time (should be reviewed). Overall, 4 stars and could come back again.
Terrible sales person. Terrible used car manager!I made a terrible mistake dealing with the dealership.I purchased a car from them,drove it for one week and the car got broken.they had to towel the car back to there office and traded it in for a very terrible price.The car depreciate with $3,000 in one week.The finance department,tag and title and the account department are not helpful atall.All my concerns was not fixed until I saw and spoke with the general manager in person before I could get a bit of the problem solved.Till now am still charged for a car that has already been traded back into there lot.I can never recommend his dealership to anyone

The salesman (Tyshawn Parker) seemed to be talking down at us and seemed supremely uninterested. He was very unhelpful and was texting the whole time. We were ready to purchase a brand new car tonight. (We have excellent credit and were already pre-approved with an excellent apr)... But absolutely not with this awful service and attitude. Thank you to the one young man (the young white guy with the tattoo sleeve) who was the only one to be kind and greet us at the beginning. By the looks of the previous reviews it seems it has become a shady/ slimy dealership since carmax sold it to Sheehy and by the way before it gets suggested... Im absolutely not interested in speaking to the general manager, Chris Prender. How about you just retrain your salesmen instead?

I went in to get an appraisal. It was done very quickly and professionally; the staff were very kind. I returned again to sell my car and received the same kind of service. I got what I was promised and everything was done in a timely manner. Even though I had two people in front of me, they gave me the option to sit in my car and receive a call when they were ready, which I think was very helpful. Definitely worth it and would recommend anyone to go to CarMax.
If I could give these guys zero stars I would. Stay clear of Sterling, hes a crook (feeds you false claims about the value of vehicle... Little did he know I KBB before I arrived) in disguise. He marked down the value of my trade-in by 4000$, the guy lacks professionalism and is in a rush to get you out the door. Head over to CarMax across the street. Theyll give you a better deal with excellent service! Less than 90 minutes, out the door with check in hand and a gift bag.
From beginning to end, it was one of the fastest and easiest car purchases I have ever experienced . Great staff . No overly pushy sales men . And no one tried to sell me anything that I did not want or need. They even located the exact vehicle I wanted . Thanks guys for all your help!

Nice cars but salesmen were not helpful on working on us with the price. Said that used cars cannot be reduced in price and were asking for 7k higher than the MSRP on other websites for cars with 10k+ miles. If you can find a better price go elsewhere.
When this place was CarMax Toyota I bought a car and was so happy with the service, the professionalism, the overall entire experience of buying a car was great. I came here thinking I would get the same service and I did not. I was pressured into items that I kept saying no to. I said NO over 10 times and they would not listen to me. I will never ever come back to Sheehy Toyota again. I had the worst experience ever buying a car. Rude pushy finance people. Lied to my face. They will pressure you into the VIP Sheehy service and act like they are taking thousands off of your car by doing this, but there are not. It is a complete gimmick. I should of walked out, but I didnt and I regret it. Go to any other Toyota dealership than this one. They lie, are so pushy, wear you down until you give in, rude, unprofessional and down right evil. STAY AWAY! I had three family members on the phone with me the next day, and the finance manager was still rude and unprofessional. It was not until I spoke to Chris, the General Manager, (which the finance manager told us that we could not talk to him) that anything got fixed. Chris did refund me the items that I kept saying NO to. Chris is the only decent person at Sheehy Toyota. I still will never ever go back to Sheehy. I completely understand now why people are buying cars online. This entire experience has changed me and I will never buy another car at a dealership again. I will do it online with an online company.

This is the worst dealership I have been to. We went here with a goal to lease a car but after talking for 2 hours we were given a estimate and it was the highest we have seen between the other dealership we have been to. After stating we needed to leave and they were not respecting us, the manager dared to walk out to the parking lot and ask what was wrong and after I said the price was high he said leave in a demeaning tone. I need to walk back to get my ID that I left on the table and the manager said that I am walking the wrong way and I need to turn around. He kept on saying this even after I mention I need to retrieve my ID twice.

Horrible dealer. I bought two cars when it was car max Toyota. One 2020 and the other 2021 apparently the battery died on both new cars and I keep getting the same dead battery issue even after they replace it with a new one. Bad service how can a battery die in less than two months of it being replaced by the same dealer? Also they don’t seem to make notes of what they do to the cars when it service time because they weren’t even aware that they had provided me with a battery change two months ago. If I had none a new car would die batteries very quick I wouldn’t purchase a new one if that made sense.
Terrible experience with this guy called Elvis here. He did not have any interest at all in answering my questions and even seemed annoyed at my questions and gave a dismissive response almost every time. Definitely not doing business here. I had high hopes for this place but all they care about is money. No customer service.

I will continue to go to CarMax for my car buying needs. The process from start to finish was smooth sailing. I felt totally comfortable, no pressure. Dealerships prior to CarMax were giving me the runaround on providing my credit union the most basic items needed to get my financing going. CarMax gave my credit union everything that was needed SAME DAY. The appraised value for my trade-in was extremely fair, too. I worked with Diana Palmer who is a fabulous associate. I highly recommend going to CarMax in Laurel if youre looking for a Toyota! I absolutely love my Highlander SE.

I filled out my information to get the “sheehy” price. They repeatedly insisted that I visit them in person. They never gave me a quote until after several emails when I called them out on their deceptive marketing. The price was the exact same as the online price. Don’t give them your information and beware. Other Toyota dealerships will respond with a quote in their first reply email.

Had my car checked, agreed to all the recommended services, asked if my breaks and tires where ok, was told they were Had them checked somewhere else told both items need replacing, went back to Sheehy it was found that the tires need to be replaced and the breaks are 1 level before needing replacing, I was told they can last up to my next oil change also was priced new tires, why would I trust them now and they tried to sale me 4 new tires
I bought my 2020 rav4 last year (2020) when it was Laureal Toyota Carmax. I drove from WV to Laurel to get that car since their asking price was something that other dealerships in 300 miles radius could not beat. However, since the dealership was bought by Sheeny earlier in 2021, I dont know if that sales style will continue. Steve yang was the person I worked with to finalize my purchase. Is Steve Yang still working at that location?

First we went to Jerry Toyota I am from other country and the sale person was very very bad he gave me high prices Sony told him to reduce the price and he yelled at me. Then me and my dad went to SHEEHY TOYOTA OF LAUREL their service is great and their prices are very great different from Jerry Toyota from 10,000 dollars.

Worst buying experience I have ever experienced, I called about a specific car they had listed in stock which was a top trim hatchback and was offered a base model sedan for more money. Don’t waste your time giving your information to these scam artists
The sales consultant I worked with was wonderful! He was not pushy at all! He even spoke with his manager to help me find options if I needed to wait to make my decision. They managed social distancing well. The appraisal process was easy too! I would highly recommend working with CarMax Laurel!

Very simply, everyone treats you with kindness and respect, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The entire process was thorough and professionally handled. This is a First-class operation with a fantastic grade A+ salesman and superb customer service. I have referred several friends/family and all have been just as satisfied with their purchase and the buying process.
Awful! My husband went here a week and a half ago and had an awful experience with them. They didn’t know the product (Avalon Hybrid), the pressure was high, and they still haven’t refunded us a refundable deposit we requested the next morning. We ended up going to Westminster Sheehy Toyota and had a wonderful experience! I will continue telling everyone about both of our experiences.
Went to see one car but that one was sold. Bought another but on the documents it was still the initial car I wanted to get. They overnighted some documents for car I actually bought. Aparently there was a glitch.5 weeks later still no plates or title, lost the 2nd key and then found it but it was found a week later or so. They wouldnt mail it to me.

Overall, I had a very good car buying experience here. I did all of my shopping and research online and knew exactly what I wanted when I walked in. The process was relatively quick and stress-free. Bruce kept it pretty casual. I had driven home with a bad tire and the sales manager, Payman promptly reached out to me and made sure it was taken care of which is much appreciated!
Went by to see a used car. Salesman told me it was on the lot and available for sale. Had an appointment and salesman wasnt there for it. Worked with someone else who told me the car sold. Absolutely a bait and switch operation. Wont be going back.

Bad experience today. Got there at 930 for a 945 appointment. Suv was taken in an sat on the lot for an hour before it was serviced. I got the vehicle back after 1 pm. 100k service took too long even though another thing was checked. Also 140/hour to put the suv on a lift and diagnose a missing heat shield. Thats outrageous. Moving to another service vendor.

Excellent customer service with no pressure or heavy handed sales tactics. Our sales rep, Derrick C was extremely helpful and patient. We had our car shipped from another CarMax and he kept us up to date. Excellent communication! The car had a long scratch and the service department got us right in to have it fixed (at their expense, due to being over 5). Youd never know there was ever a scratch there. Excellent work. This is our third vehicle from CarMax and wed recommend them. The whole process was easy and I left with exactly what I wanted.
This dealership was great when it was owned by Carmax. Now that Sheehy has taken over there is absolutely no concern for customer service. No way I will spend anymore of my money at a place where a simple phone call cant even be returned. There are 4 other dealers within a mile radius of this place, Ill go to any one of them before ever stepping foot back at this place. If the managers are this rude to customers I can only imagine how the employees are treated.

From working with the sales associate to the sales manager (Shawn Ritter), and the general manager (Chris Prender), I can tell I will be purchasing my next vehicle again with Sheehy.They have an excellent process, beautiful facility, and most of all excellent people working there!
Horrible customer experience...Waited for Hours ...I had to literally raise my concerns with the customer service desk before I could understand the situation with my repairs...The follow up is horrible and the customer service rep KAT is beyond rude...Even when at fault could not muster the humility to apologizeand acknowledge my valid concerns....Even when I had approached another rep called Matt...He promised he was going to return back to me with answers...He never did....Spent almost 2hrs... Without having my repairs done....Please avoid this place if you could...The customer service is beyond painful!

My experience was interesting, stressful but handled professionally at the end.I had the worst salesperson Mike. This was a vehicle exchange and Mike was unprepared and unskilled to complete the task. Not only did he run my credit report three times because he was not paying attention, he had the nerve to attempt to wait on another customer at the same time as my appointment.I finally got very upset called my fiancee in to the showroom for comfort, I told Mike if he made one more mistake I would ask for his manager. Meanwhile, I was glad that Mike asked for assistance and came back with James Matthews who was very experienced and skilled in the process. James took completely over and I was pleased with the progress and outcome at this point but I was still livid about Mikes performance and my credit report issue.During the final steps, before finishing up with James, Alvin, the manager introduced himself and apologized for my experience. This did make me feel much better about doing business with Carmax again... I have been a faithful customer BUT I did not want to terminate our relationship because of some very bad moments. Just ask for a sales manager earlier in the confusion to avoid any issues because at the end they have a lot of inexperienced salespeople walking around. You have to vigilant at getting the best service your money can buy!!!
I want to thank Josh, a sales representative at Laurel Sheehy Toyota. When I asked him to give me verbal directions on how to connect my new cell to my 2019 Camry, he offered to show me how to do it, even going out to my car in 90+ weather to make sure my cell got connected to my car.

I bought a vehicle in this place at first before I buy they were really cool they were there to help me with the process of buying the vehicle, after I buy it they just don’t want to respond to my question they haven’t get me the tags almost 60 day and their excuse is the dmv is behind with a lot of work when I know people they go there and get them within 20 days, and it a not just this there more thing to complain about it but is just a waste of time to do it. I don’t understand why this place just don’t care about customers like other places, I don’t think they really care about people after they make a deal, this is very disappointed and unprofessional.
