Also convenient location.. staff very polite.. BUT ALWAYS SHORT STAFFED..!! OR STAFF MEMBER DOING INVENTORY ON THE FLOORS WHILE CUSTOMERS WAIT IN LINE.. IN - LINE ..leaving the other one or two to deal with the line of customers.. I think, get the line down and out, then go back to doing inventory duties...PS: JUST READ ANOTHER REVIEW DATED 7 MONTHS AGO..HAD SAME ISSUES AS NOTED IN MY PRESENT REVIEW NOTES.. SAID U WOULD FIX IT... STILL NOT FIXED 7 MONTHS LATER...what is the excuse NOW????????!!!????

I love Advance Auto overall, since they have a huge selection and very reasonable prices. The very common sales online make online ordering for pickup in store a great option for me. However, the service at this particular location is always quite slow whenever I shop here. Even when not terribly busy, the lines move very slowly. And unlike at other locations and other businesses (like PB’s), even when only coming in to pickup an online order, you have to wait through the entire line with customers shopping in store since they use the online pickup register for normal in-store orders as well. I’m not sure if it is supposed to operate this way, but it definitely convinces me to shop at other locations. Not always the nicest staff here either. I would definitely recommend visiting another location when possible, but at least you will get everything you came for when shopping here!

Customer service was bad. The associate was very aggressive physically and verbally when I complains about delays in the services provided. When it was may time of service, he did help get the right item for me but instead, send me to look for it on my own and did wait to serve me but had me go back of the line when I was able to get the items in just 2 minutes. When I complains, that was the time he became very aggressive and refused to serve me and send me out of the store.

Stood at counter waiting on young boy who was on phone, he got off phone went to get part came back and started typing on computer. Another lady walked by did not acknowledge me. Phone rang again where he answered. Then asked what I needed. Only wanted to know what battery was needed for key fob, he told me to open it myself with my hands cause he had nothing to open it with. Of course I couldnt do had to leave and go to Auto Zone... terrible customer service

Good thing is you can always order online and pick it up from store in 30 minutes. Expect to wait longer for check out though. They never have enough people for check out counters. I have been there dozens of times. It always is the same problem.

First off, I would give them negative stars if that was possible. I went in and gave them my car make and model, etc. They looked up the make and model on their computer and told me which light bulbs to buy. I tried to install them and they didnt fit. I tried to return them the next day and they wouldnt let me. I didnt know someone working there was capable of being that stupid. But yeah, if youre looking for a place to rip you off or sell you the wrong thing then make you pay for it because they messed up, you definitely found it. Advanced Auto parts: where the autism levels are high and the service is garbage.

I went in there to purchase windshield wiper blades. After I purchased it with my debit card, the screen read APPROVED, but the stores computer had crashed and the cashier wouldnt let me leave with the product I PAID for. The cashier could not get the system back up and said they were done for the night. I called my bank and this transaction wont be able to be refunded for at least another 3 days. Advanced Auto Parts robbed me and I will never shop there again!!!It has been refunded mysteriously...nvm

Very rude and unprofessional here in the laurel md 20705 shopping center, is a Spanish guy who works there answering the phone and does not understand English so he hangs up on people then will not answer the phone again for long periods of tim . Unopened headlight bulbs are NOT eligible for return (with receipt, less than 7 days after purchase)?! And I didnt even pick out the wrong bulbs. Because there is no book to cross reference for year, make and model when selecting headlights, the cashier selected the low beams headlight bulbs for me after looking it up in the computer. NEVER going back to this store. RUDE employees, selling the WRONG parts and hiding behind a B.S. return policy so they can move stock off the floor, regardless of whether its what you actually need, and they KNOW you cant return or exchange the part. SLIMY business practices.

With the new remodeling of the store here recently everything went to hell in a hand basket. You have to wait in the parts lookup line just to purchase a light bulb that you got off the shelf. Takes for every to be able to pay for something. Several employees there but most seem to be just milling around. Once you are finally waited on they are polite and usually have the part you need.

This is about the worst of all their stores.they answer the phone unprofessional,like a hoodrat.then either they forget you on hold or simply hang up on you.cut you off while talking and put you on an indefinite hold.ive used new Carrollton,landover, woodlawn and north ave stores and this is the worst.HOW HARD IS BEEN PROFESSIONAL FOR 8HRS WHILE BEEN PAID.this is about my 5th time calling with the same result.Fellows check out new Carrollton.way better

I placed an online order to pick up in store four hours in advance, 8 items. It took them a half an hour to get the one guy that was in the store ahead of me and they did not have my order pulled but had 3 guys in the store. Whats more is the cashier couldnt tell the difference between two quarts of oil and the two gallons of oil that was on the order. To add to the major inconveniences the brand new headlights I purchased that was just an upgrade blow out in 2 days. Plus the new transmission fiter/seal kit wont stop leaking no matter how many times I re-torque them and following the manufacturer instructions of not using silicone or adhesive for said gasket. Now I am going to have to purchase another 2 gallons of fluid and waist another few hundred dollars of services on a vehicle that would have only been done once if the parts from this place would at least last more then 2 days. Not worth the discount for online purchases thats for sure.

READ ME, ONLY IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS One week ago i visited this AAP for a axle socket and a 1/2 drive torque wrench from there rental program... the hispanic lady in front claimed she couldnt look up a axle socket size and instead reffered me to the tool aisle and said does any of these look like the one you need?...uhh if i knew what size i needed i wouldnt be asking yall too look it up! Then i asked her for a 1/2 in drive torque wrench and she told me we dont loan wrenches uhh seriously!? MIND-BLOWN So as i explained to her the tools function, she looked even more puzzled so she called upon i guess a manager tall, skinny AA male with glasses and dreads well as i waited roughly 15 mins for him because obviously his phone call/ txt msgs were more important than his paying customer, i had no choice but to call the AZ down road so they could look up the correct socket, which they did... at AAP the lady looked at me and asked me so did they tell you the right size? Yup they sure did! Size 32mm ooh we dont carry that one but you can buy one, use and return it if you want she said JESUS M-FING CHRIST yall have got to be kidding me! If i wanted to buy it then I wouldve bought a complete set and been on my merry F-ING way instead of wasting my precious time and daylight here... this is why its called a LOANER PROGRAM!!... so 15 mins later the manager comes out, he didnt bother coming to help me he forgot because he was to busy lolly-gagging on his phone the whole time... so i had to call him out, I asked him if I could rent a 1/2 in drive torque wrench, and he said no we dont carry it uuum for real? GTFOH!! AAP doesnt rent or carry one of the most essential tools in the automotive industry... I have worked in auto tech and in autoparts sales management and customer service for over 10+ yrs, I have never come across this kind of situation before regardless of how helpful they think they are! If AAP str management and corporate offices would actually stop hiring these DUMBASS TOOLS AND RATCHETS off of the streets and actually hire some decent somewhat knowledgeable people who actually know a thing or 2 about autoparts, tech and TOOLS and who would be willing to devote time to theyre customers with better than minimum wage pay because Corporate America wants to cut corners then Advanced Auto Parts bad reputation would start to go away and they might see an increase in sales and retain customers loyalty -_- ... i will most defintely not come back to this APP again.sorry i gave yall a chance unfortunately for me i cant seem to find an OReilly autoparts in MD there inventory and customer service is truly on point... ooh well, come on napa plz dont let me down, yall are the top quality aftermarket autoparts retailers! GO TO AUTOZONE I REPEAT GO TO AUTOZONE!The first thing is the associate was on the phone the entire time. Even when dealing with me. I could hear his entire conversation. He was talking about sexual things which made me feel very uncomfortable. I have worked for many jobs I believe the customer comes first. I did not feel that at advanced auto parts. He also had an attitude with me as well, I just wanted to get out of there so bad. He needs to be let go or trained properly. I will not be shopping at advanced auto parts anymore. So my advice to everyone else, just go to the Autozone down the street, they actually know what they are doing and have much better service in my opinion.

Everytime...EVERY DAMN TIME I COME I REGRET IT. If your time is very important to you, then do not go here. The employees are always slow, understaffed, do not care or all the above. It will be a 15 min wait regardless or why you came. Checking out is 15 mins! Getting prices is 15mins! Or even just dropping off a battery to charge are all a ridiculous amount of time to be helped! Go else where
