I dropped my car off with Gerber on September 20th due to an auto accident that caused my car needing both front and rear end replacement. Tyler was my appraiser and kept me updated every step of the way. Not only was he kind, professional and polite, after picking my car up my check engine flashed on me and he ran a diagnostic on my car so I was able to take my car to a mechanic the next day to fix the issue. (By the way Tyler, you were right! I needed a tune up. You’re the man, man!!) I highly recommend Gerber for any body work needed on your car! Thank you guys so much!!

Ive had my car repaired at Gerber a couple times. They always have great service and do really good work in a reasonable amount of time. Prices are decent as well.

My worst experience ever! They are supposed to GEICO express center however the Gerber employee and (Geico auto adjuster) has me running in circles because of their inconsistence details that do not match each other information. Extremely poor customer service from both parties. I do not recommend this facility at all.

Called this company about replacing a windshield and was given one price plus the promise for a greater discount for being a first responder; but when I called, the rude woman that answered the phone stated the former representative didn’t know what he was talking about and raised the price $30. She stated that anyone else that quoted us less was replacing the windshield with a used windshield. Investigation proved this to be totally inaccurate. Don’t waste your time with these unprofessionals. Plus, she kept talking over us and interrupting us.

Second time in three months. Third time it was a hit and run. My vehicle looks brand new again.

I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of the staff. They made a stressful situation fluid and easy to navigate. In my opinion one of best bodyshops in DMV front desk was very helpful and they have enterprise in same building, also they finished ahead time with my car and they did an amazing job on it definitely recommend this shop!

The guys there are hospitable and friendly. I received honest quotes, with no sugar coating about the condition of my 08 DTS whereas most would just want to take your money, NOPE not these guys they will give you the bare bones truth! I also wanted to thank Xavier for taking extra time out from his lunch to help me get my personal items from my total loss vehicle...great bunch of guys here and I am grateful for their help when I needed it most.

Not good theyre very expensive and wanted to right off my car they did a estimate without even opening a door or thoroughly checking damages wouldnt recommend or refer to nobody because someone else fixed my car like new for half of what the wanted

Stopped in a requested a quote for a vehicle paint repair. I was told that I would receive a quote via email within 48hrs. Its been between 6-8 weeks.. still nothing. Ive even called back twice and still nothing. I guess they dont want my business..

I had a wonderful experience! Everyone was very friendly. They provided fast, quality service and kept me updated on a daily basis. My car was even completed ahead of schedule and looked amazing! In addition, Enterprise Rent-A-Car is connected to the building, which is very convenient. They also provided excellent customer service and gave me a nice, brand new car to drive. I would definitely recommend both Gerber Collision & Glass and Enterprise Rent-A-Car to my family and friends! :-)

Took my car to this shop due to them being the only one to get my car in the day after my accident. People where friendly, and always willing to help. BUT the work they do is AWFUL! I went to pick up my car the day the said it was finished, but had a patch mark on the front door uneven from the rest of the door. It was about 12x24 Not something you could miss. They kept it for another 3 days, got it back filthy (inside and out), over spray, and buff marks from front to back of my car. Im now getting quotes to get it fixed else where, because I do not want them to touch my car again. Do yourself a favor and get your car fixed elsewhere!

01/09/2018:After my last post, Vice president of Marketing called and asked me about my complains, I have explained and he did listen. Promised to take few steps to improve the service quality in his end.I finally left my car with Gerber on Jan 3rd, 2018 and received my car back on Jan 9th, 2018. The service on the car exceeded my expectations (replaced the bumper completely) and I am changing the rating to five, I believe, which they have earned it./*****************************/Post on 12/22/2017/*****************************/Please be careful about these location of Gerber Collision & Glass, 9943 Washington Blvd N, Laurel, MD 20723.These guys gave the lowest quote for my vehicle to get the insurance blessing and get their estimate approved. Insurance companies loved it since its cheap.I have damage in the bumper and they only provided 2 hours estimate to fix it. I went to RPM Collision center they said the Bumper has to be replaced. Gerber did not account for painting and other jobs.They are unprofessional and poor in service, Please do yourself a favor. Go to couple of Collision center before you ask your insurance to forward the claim to the Gerber, They are cheap and therefore Insurance company Love them so much.

Had a fender bender and this location was one of two near me that worked with statefarm. The other gave me an estimate of nearly 3 weeks later than Gerber, so I went with Gerber.The estimated time frame was a week, but within 48 hours the damage was repaired and it looked like new. Everyone I worked with either over the phone or at the location was friendly and direct about the process.Although I didnt have to pay because I was not at fault, the other location was also about $200 more for roughly the same amount of work so Im glad I picked Gerber.Very happy overall and would recommend, only slight knock is the location, there isnt much parking in the lot so you may need to leave the car on the side of rt 1.

Satisfied with work, which was to fix bumper from a driver who tried to leave a red light several seconds early. The nice thing is that I have GEICO, and the location has a GEICO Express plus a co-located Enterprise car rental. One stop rather than several and the rental is m was ready by the time I was checked in. It isnt obvious this is the case until you get there, but I liked it.

I had a flawless experience with these guys. They were very transparent about their process and their staff is very nice. They told me they would replace my bumper instead of repairing it, it would take a few days to come in, and once they took off the bumper there might be more to repair. They told me everything before they did any work, and they were very pleasant to work with. I even needed to borrow my car for a day mid-repair, and they were totally fine with that. They handled everything with my insurance company (USAA) so all I did was drop off the car, wait, and pick it up. These guys are great and I highly recommend them.

They did a great job fixing my front bumper, but I rated them two stars because after driving around a few days I went to a different shop to see why my tire pressure light was on and there were nails in my tires that werent there before. We also got an email that our car was ready once and once we got there it wasnt. It was a bit of a hassle in my opinion and kind of frustrating that their emails are inaccurate .

Sent there by insurance. Dropped off my car and left in a rental within 30 mins. I was updated frequently on the status of the repairs and the car was done early. Looks great now, couldnt ask for more.

Was able to bring in my car a day after my accident and got an estimate. Employees were nice and the outcome of my vehicle was the way it looked when I bought it. There were some issues along the way, like failed/broken parts shipped in, or wrong parts which delayed the pickup day by 11 days but glad I got it back.

Both Gerber (Amber) and the on site Geico rep (Brandon) went out of their way to help me with a time sensitive repair. Neither of them had to go to the lengths they did to help, but they went above and beyond to help me. Fabulous customer service!

I have now taken my car to Gerber for the third time. The first two times were great. the first time a tree had fallen on the hood and they did a great job fixing it. Then last month the hood latch was defective and the hood flew open and they once again repaired the vehicle to look great. This is the third time there and if they do as well as the first two times I would rate Gerber Collision at the highest level for any auto body repairs. the vehicle looked new and is clean when it comes back out to me.

Sent there by insurance. I was offered a check for repairs. It wasnt until I left the shop I was told I could have left my car at the show for repairs during my visit. As a result they are now booked up and not taking appointments for the next 5 weeks. Bad customer service. Be sure to ask as many questions as possible. This place was not helpful and has prolonged my car getting fixed.

Car was hit and insurance suggested Gerber. The car ended up getting work done at the Gaithersburg location (will post a review for them as well), but was to be sent back to Laurel. The Laurel location hasnt answered the phone but three quarters of the times Ive called and I got sent on to the National Office line. Also, when my car was finally delivered, they were supposed to call me to let me know it had arrived. I ended up calling the Gaithersburg location to ask if my car hadnt left yet and why, to be told that it had been delivered to Laurel yesterday. No phone call. So, I cant speak as to their quality of work, but their quality of service is a bit lacking.

Recommended by another insurance company when my car was hit. So far, great service, more after car is done.

I have Geico insurance. I took my Mercedes to Gerber on Washington Blvd in Laurel, MD for an estimate for body repair work, Friday, 5/17/13. We arrived at approx 5:10 pm. A guy named Gary told us we close at 5 oclock you didnt know that? And you need an appointment for an estimate. He said i can look at the car and tell you about how much it will cost. I told him that i did not come for a verbal estimate, i came for a written estimate. I did not like his attitude and he didnt seem interested in our business. I have used Gerber in the past and also frequently rent cars from Enterprise car rental which is in the same building. I was not treated like this when I used Gerber the first time. He went on to tell us when we were getting in the car that the parking lot is tricky and very small be careful! He talked down to us and I will never go back there again and will post this review so that others will know. I will inform Geico of this too. I did not receive a verbal or written estimate from Gary. The hours are 8-5:30p I found out later after leaving the shop. I did not know what the hours were when I was there. There were other customers being served when we arrived. Not courteous. It was this guy Gary and the treatment I received that prompted me to post this review. Customer service and the way you make a customer feel can make or break a business.

Took care of my recent repair (was rear-ended, other parties insurance took care of pymt) great work on vehicle following inspection (suburban bumper and rear liftgate replaced.) Very courteous staff, Enterprise connected to facility. Would definitely recommend based on repair result.

If you value your time this is not the place for you. Set an appointment time at 10am for an estimate. After filling out the necessary paperwork I waited a full hour and my car still hadnt been looked at. I just left and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Why the heck do they have employees condemning other businesses if I am the customer trying to get work elsewhere let it be. Not professional environment and will not recommend.

Very unprofessional place to go at. they did a sloppy job putting my bumpers back on and also other things they didn’t really fix which I had to take my car somewhere else. . Also do not leave any items in your car while you getting work to your car. the workers will take things out of your car. I wouldn’t never do any type of service with them.

I had the best customer service experience ever at this place via Eric Gwin. The fix was very minor and was done for FREE! Yes for free! He even refused to take any tips! Other collision shops wantedto rip me off with estimates of 50 to 70 $. Defenitly recommend this place for any body repair...

STAY AWAY... Took car in for repair to the rear bumper.. Repair was done, but my brand new rotors was replaced with old rusted ones.. Took a week for me to get my car back...

If I could give this place a zero star I would. Ive been trying to get my car fixed for two month, and they refused to take payment from anyone but me. They are rude on the phone, rude in person, and impossible to deal with. My initial estimate was $800, then they said $2,200 a week later upon further review. Needless to say, Im going somewhere else to get my car fixed.
