My experience was horrible! John Taylor - I am pretty sure he is the owner – made me very uncomfortable I went into the shop and met him for the first time and when he saw me he immediately started being a inappropriate. He started condescendingly speaking to me like a child - baby talking me. He was speaking to other customers (men and women who were with their husbands) completely normal, but since I was a young woman who was there alone he was treating me different. It was so inappropriate and weird that it was getting the attention of the other customers who were staring at me and looking at him like they were also wondering why he was baby talking me like I was a 4 year old child. I was VERY uncomfortable and remained serious in responding to him and was ignoring it. I just wanted to get my gun I already paid for and leave. He could tell that I was not being receptive of his baby talk and he seriously got upset making a comment that I could at least laugh or smile - seriously the typical comment made by men who dont like it when women are not receptive to their inappropriate behavior towards them. They tell you that you need to smile more, or laugh, or be more friendly. Regardless of his age, his behavior was inappropriate, but especially because he is at least 60 and I am 25 it made the situation even more inappropriate. Eventually all the other customers left the store and I unfortunately was alone with him, so his behavior got even worse. He had me take my mask off to verify my ID for the purchase and made a comment that I am a very pretty lady which in this context of how he was treating me made me very uncomfortable. He was constantly speaking down to me like because I am a “very pretty lady” I also have no value and am not worthy of respect. He continued to baby talk me, interrupt me, speak over me, and be very condescending during the entire process. Was speaking down to me and treating me like I knew nothing about guns despite the fact that I am educated on and experienced with firearms and have been a gun owner since I was the legal age to be one. I eventually had enough and stood up for myself and told him to stop patronizing me and process my purchase so I can leave. He got real quiet real fast, processed my purchase, and made sure to tell me off before I left. He told me that he has never had to say this to a customer, but because of the comment I made (me defending myself) that he is going to have to ask me to never come back in there again - as if I would ever go back there to be treated like that by him again. I took my gun, told him not to worry about it because I wasnt planning on coming back there, and started to leave and he seriously told me PLEASE LEAVE NOW acting like I was the one in the wrong who made him uncomfortable and now he is somehow the victim LOL.

Friendly owner. Knowledgable in their field. My brother and I decided to build an AMD-65 from part kit as a Quarentine Project. Great communication from Elite Firemarms and the lowest fee out of the places we called (This was in April if I remember correctly). Would recommend to others and continue to do business with them. I was asking for a taurus g3 and ruger security 9, since neither of them are in stock i wanted to ask him if he can put me on a list if they do come in. he stated, NO! AND STOP CALLING THIS NUMBER!. i will never go to this place again. and to the new people who are looking into firearms, i recommend brianhawk firearms. they are always respectful and always make a customer smile when walking out the door

Referred here by an acquaintance, as I’m considering taking the plunge on hunting. Manager John was in, and I can see exactly why other reviewers have said they felt at ease. I got a master class in the relationship between calibers, rifles, game, hunter, and environment. I don’t know many businesses in any industry that take so much time to educate their customers before bringing up anything about the transaction. Yeah, it’s not a brightly lit fully stocked showroom, but I’ll trade that any day for the A+ service I got while visiting. John even managed to show more patience than I would’ve with this know it all looky-loo whose interrupting comments were fudd cliches at best, and complete tangents at worst. Highly recommend, and will be going back.

As a new gun owner, it can be extremely intimidating to go in a gun store and try to find anything or ask questions and Joe made it so easy to do all of that. He was so kind to these people before me and helping them find something that would fit their needs. He answered all my ammo questions and was good to my child. I will come back here again and again with this kind of service!

This location shown on the google maps is closed, they are further down across from the BMW Sahara dealership now. They have some choice firearms especially on the older side. There are some that are pricey and there are some good deals but you will need to know about them before you go in and decide to buy. Customer service is very friendly and helpful, the owner being old school which I understand can be a bit tough to deal with for some. I have bought some very rare firearms from here at an excellent price. Would recommend you put this on your local circuit of shops to browse and buy from.

Called in to see about a Ruger American, Joseph, was very short on the phone and amazingly rude. When I asked for clarity on soemthing he said, he developed a temper and said THE ANSWER IS NO! Slamming the phone down and hanging up, all this in less than a minute conversation. I called back to ask why he was so rude and unprofessional when I was trying to understand what meant, he again just hung up. Will never do business with this shop, and if this is any indication of how they treat people in person, I highly recommend no one else do business with them either.

Great shop! They just bought a handgun from me and was very fair and knowledgeable with all we talked about. I will be back again to buy a weapon in the future.

Poor service, lack of communication, took weeks for a background check, not knowledgeable of firearms, claimed used guns as new.

Awkward service, slightly rude, not knowledgeable at all and quick to argue. Prices are the highest Ive ever seen so far since Ive been alive. Plus they have practically nothing inside. Buyers beware.

These guys are a joke. I work in the same parking lot as them so sometimes I go in there to see what they have and they are always, I repeat, ALWAYS OVERPRICED. Today in particular I went in to get mags and asked for some metal GI mags. They showed me to the pmags which were 14 bucks. I specifically wanted GI mags. This little Hispanic guy in there filling out paper work said he has some used ones of his so I looked at them and he said 30 for all three. Mind you they were heavily used but I said OK. I examined them and one of them was terrible so I said Id take the other two and asked how much. He said 15 a piece. I said why would I pay 30 for 2 if you just said 30 ft or 3? Not to mention your brand new pmags are 14 a piece I could just buy two of those. He say WELL FINE THENand snatches the mags away like a 5 year old who didnt learn how to share. I went across the street to briarhawk firearms. Those guys ALWAYS treat me well and great me when I enter. Stay away from elite firearms. That place is a joke and they wont see a dime from me.

Apparently deaf and confused. Asked for the same thing 4 times starting with the manufacturername and model number. After I got loud, he proceeded to ask me who makes it?. Ill go elsewhere
