Without a doubt, my favorite gun shop in Las Vegas. I cant say enough good things about them. The selection can be a little slim sometimes, but the customer service has always been excellent and the staff is very friendly and helpful. If they dont have it, they can get it and they will beat any competitors prices. Recommend them to all my friends and Im recommending them to you.

The sign on the door says everything you need to know about them. Thankful about their mask policy. Cool people, I get the honest vibe. I look forward to performing future business with them.

Are used to love going to this place but then it was all taken away when I bought some merchandise and I had it shipped there because you need a license gun owner in order to get your weapon and when I went through the check on my weapon it was fine and then when I went back to pick it up after my background check the box was all shredded inside and I let the owner know but his employees told him otherwise in so he totally believes them and they never gave me the opportunity to come back and fix it and I would just like to say that I’m not happy with this place at all when I used to look up to it I thought it was the greatest place I really love to go in there and I wanted to get my CCW there but of course not anymore because you can’t trust a place to trash your stuff because you’re mad because you bought it somewhere online instead of buying it there anything in the owner can see what he wants but it’s

First-time gun buyer, found these guys through Maps/Yelp but never had the time/disposable income in years past to pull the trigger on it till a week ago. They definitely lived up to their reputation. Extremely friendly and helpful to someone who was a complete greenhorn. Walked me through the process of picking up my firearm from them as my selected FFL. Background check was a breeze and I was back today (one day wait) to walk out with my handgun. Will *definitely* be back to take their classes as well while I begin the process to get my CCW.Huge shoutouts to Anthony & Wolfgang, they were there both days that I came in and made the process a solid 10/10.

Well I used to think that briarhawk wasTheGreatest place but then I bought a weapon on line and had it shipped there because you have to do that by law if you purchase a weapon on line.and when I went in to do the background check I was able to see my weapon then when I went back to pick it up someone there destroyed the inside of my box and stole my trigger lock and Im pretty sure that I know who did it and his NAME STARTS WITH A C AND ENDS WITH A Y UNLESS THEY SPELL IT DIFFERENT START WITH A K BUT ANYWAY I DO NOT REEFER YOU TO GO TO THIS PLACE thats what the inside of my box look like when I picked it up but it wasnt what it looked like when I went to go fill out my background check paperwork when I got to look at my gun for the first time

Said they were getting ammo and didnt.. should have bought it from the other store I was at now I have to drive all the way back across town cause they said we will have it in and cheaper but when I called back all of a sudden they never ordered it.. good job with communication 👏 👌 👍

They provided a very detailed presentation of the pros and cons of the items we were choosing between. Very informative and catered to our needs.Even with the current stock shortage, we were very pleased with our purchase and experience!Both friendly and professional!!

The entire team was very helpful with impeccable customer service since the first moment I walked in. They are all very knowledgeable and take their time to answer any questions. Casey was the guy who helped me out the first day and who I took a basic firearm class with. I will definitely recommend them for first time firearm buyers that are looking to purchase and/or to take basic firearm classes. I am looking into taking the CCW class with them soon too.They also have a super cool simulator room that is tons of fun. Good for individuals or groups. I will definitely be going back to the stimulation room and to purchase additional firearms from them soon.

Do not go to this place for FFL transfers.Waited over a month with no contact from the shop. Finally called to see if there was some weird road block that we could clear up. Clerk I talked to claimed they called me twice with no apologies. My phone shoes now missed calls, no messages, no emails, no texts.Would rather pay twice that in FFL fees to deal with someone who actually knows how to communicate.

Found out the hard way that Briarhawk was not the place to do a CCW renewal class. Paperwork was filled out wrong not only once but twice. Had appointments at Metro Feb 28 and on March 29. Metro said forms were filled out wrong. third trip to Briarhawk and had to show Casey how to fill it out. Now Metro booked for 90 days. They must be new at this.Thank the Lord that I was told of a way to turn in forms and fingerprints quicker.

STOP this is the best and only shop in Vegas to buy yourself a gun and/or earn your ccw. Entire staff is incredibly educated, attentive, professional and well mannered. I was absolutely blown away!

I recently used Briarhawk for an FFL transfer. They sent me a text the day my firearm arrived. The text came about an hour after UPS tracking says it got dropped off, so they were extremely efficient in processing the transfer. I had to get off work early and barely made it to the store with about 5 minutes before closing time that same day. The sales rep Matt was very courteous and began my background check anyway. He gave me a realistic approximate timeframe of about a week for when I should expect the background check to come through due to the current circumstances. My confirmation came back two days later and I picked up my firearm with no hassle other than a larger than normal wait time due to capacity restrictions. They seem to be working diligently to overcome the obstacles that come with the COVID mandates. Overall, I was very impressed with everyone I dealt with, and would certainly give them my business again. Thanks for helping me get my hands on my new Shotgun!

I recently moved from CA to NV and took my CCW courses, made FFL transfer for 5+ times here. Super friendly folks working here and probably the fastest FFL transfer in Las Vegas (always receive SMS for pickup on the same deliver date) .Im pretty sure this is the best place to get yourself physically and mentally ready for self defence. Special thanks to James and Casey as my instructors, helped me for the online purchases and answered so many questions regarding self defence. Highly recommended!

I just recently took the CCW renewal course at Briarhawk. An enjoyable experience thanks to the Briarhawk team. The qualifying was the most efficient (and fastest) Ive ever experienced. The classroom balance of the course was boring, because of the requirements of the course by LVMPD and the state, but Will did everything he could to make it as interesting as possible. Will encouraged questions and open communication by the classmates. Thank you Briarhawk and your team for an efficient and informative experience. Very very helpful people! I needed help because my gun won’t cycle, and they inspect it for free! I definitely recommend this place, although it’s not a big shop it’s not small either. To sum it up, you are in good hands, cheers!

The place is nice with helpful people, if in the area and you dont work this place is perfect. The store closes at 4 pm so not convenient for people with normal jobs. There are other gun stores that stay open till 6 pm in the area so be aware if your shipping a gun there for an FFL transfer this early store hours could be an issue.

One of my favorite gun stores in Las Vegas. My wife and I have purchased more than a couple firearms from this store. They have a good selection of parts, ammo and conceal carry purses as well. The staff is awesome, very knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy. The owner, Steve gives back to the community, helps support local law enforcement and is a true advocate of the 2nd amendment.

The guys at Briarhawk are courteous and professional. They take their time with each and every customer that comes in, whether they are a novice or long standing firearm user. I purchased two weapons from Briarhawk and it was quick and easy. They didnt take any money except for the background check and I didnt pay for the firearms until the background was cleared. I wish I had visited them first, unlike another dealer in the area that required full payment upfront and I am still waiting on their callback.

Had a great experience at this gun shop today! Ive been shopping around for a decent AR-15 for a good deal and Briarhawk had by far the best prices. From the moment I walked in, the entire staff was friendly and accommodating. They made the whole process quick and easy and even helped me customize the rifle with magpul accessories from their shop before I even paid. Came in to pick up two firearms I ordered online and the process was quick and simple. Jessy was super friendly through the short process and gave some great recommendations on future purchases. Looking at the prices on their in store stock makes me regret not going there in the first place. After everything the online price was very close to what they offered in store except I had to wait 3 weeks for my stuff to ship (not their fault). Would highly recommend this place!

Although I would understand the circumstances for needing an appointment during this pandemic, if there is an empty store and no appointments coming up I don’t understand. Customer service is terrible here and it does not seem like they treat everyone equally. I know these are unsettling times for most, but it was almost as if they were inconvenienced that we were there. There is a polite way to let your customers know you are only taking appointments and to answer simple questions.

I’ve been coming to this place for about 2 years now and I will continue to give them my business because I respect what they stand for.. The owner Steve is a good guy, and the rest of the staff honestly provide some of the best customer service in the city, especially compared to other local gun stores, there is no comparison. They are humble and always willing to help, give an excellent CCW class, and have benches in the store for anyone, anytime, to come use to work on, clean, build, fix or even build their firearm, with all the tools and space you’ll need.. They are active in the community, donate to Metro or North Las Vegas PD.. They have a MILO room for shooting simulations that is amazing and like nothing else in town.. These guys provide exactly what a gun shop experience should be.

Amazing firearms shop, my goto 1 stop shop for guns and ammo. Prices are roughly about the same as ventura which puts it slightly higher than online prices. However its worth the extra cash to support growing vegas businesses. I get all my ffl transfers done there, the staff is knowledgable and professional. These guys dont have 5 stars for the selection. Their customer service is unreal.I would reccomend the lazer training room for any person new to shooting, and anyone that needs to pinch pennies training. Great date night for anyone trying to put the front post in the rear peep if you get my sight picture. Seriously though, you can get a dose of humble pie real quick in the shooter scenarios.

We decided to stop in, and met the owner, Art, a retired police officer from Illinois.What a nice guy. What a clean, well-stocked shop. They even have some immaculate workbenches and tools set up for customer use, and experts who come in to provide free maintenance clinics!I generally buy things online these days, but Ill be spending my gun money with Briarhawk (and they have competitive prices, too!). My wife and I are looking forward to learning a lot from Art and company, and getting our CCWs...

However, I recently had a not very good experience in purchasing lately. Maybe its the pandemic or something and I’m guessing everyone was exhausted but one time I bought a bolt carrier group from them. I probably had the bolt for a month or so but when I was cleaning my gun I realized the screw on the gas key was either missing or broken. So I wanted to see the manufacturer was because I’m sure the store would probably not let me return the bolt carrier group. I had my receipt and everything but they were unable to give me information about who to call as far as a return/ exchange or warranty for the bolt carrier group.So now I’m down a bolt carrier group and a bad experience. I hope customer service gets better.5/20/21: went back to the store after giving the general social unrest to die down. No lines up front anymore. Came in got welcomed warmly, by old and new staff. Came in to look for a lower, checked if they had it in stock. They were helpful enough to show me and give me a no BS honest opinion about the product I was thinking about. Made a purchase and chatted about how the past year was very different and had its difficulties in the gun shop community. I definitely gained some understanding on how the bcg issue I had happened as such. Customer service has definitely improved! I’m still down a bolt carrier group but I would go back on buying and checking inventory every so often again.

Used these guys as my FFL for my husbands birthday gifts. Jessy (with a “Y”), 🤣 always we t out of his way to help me with any questions I had. I live closer to several guns stores but I come here because I love supporting the brick and mortar/ family owned businesses. There’s s good selection of Glocks which are my main purchases and I’ll be buying my first Ruger from them in a couple of weeks. I recommend everyone to check themout because they’re one of the best shops for firearms/ammo,etc. They also have a simulator that I need to try next time :) see you guys soon!!

I go there on the weekends, there the only shop open early Sunday mornings before I go out shooting, good selection of products, they’ll order it up for you if they don’t have it in stock.

Customer Service!!After calling 6 other Gun Shops trying to get a spring kit for my Glock, Steve had the parts I needed for the same price as the Manufacturers Web site and... even took the time to install all the new parts for me at 1 of the 4 or 5 work tables he has set up for customers to ues. I saved me 2 hours at home on a Saturday trying to figure it out myself.Its not like the shop was slow, they sold 2 or more guns while I was there. The guy is totally cool, he is all about service and their prices are vary competitive.Thank you Steve!!

So this store, these wonderful people who never looked at me funny cause i dont fit the typical gun guy sterotype have been some of the best people i have ever met.
