We had a great time! The employees were so nice and helped our group pick some fun games. The environment is relaxing and fun.
Great place, simple and good food and drinks. Best of all the staff is friendly and helpful. Tons of space and available options for games. No complaints at all
This place is awesome if youre into board games or if youre not and looking for some time to kill. You can even go in and play board games with your family and friends. They have so many games that I never even knew existed. My son goes there every week to play Dungeons & Dragons he has a blast everytime. Its the thing he loves to do and he loves playing it here.
I went there for a Session of dnd. At first I wouldn’t think it would be nice but when I got there it was a blast! The staff keep the building nice, food is better than most restaurants, staff is nice. Also the dnd groups there are the best, planning on playing the entire dnd campaign now!
Wide variety of games to play. Decently priced. Very welcoming staff. Nice selection on food.
Fantastic owner. Wonderful game room. And beer! Kind of the perfect spot!
Lots of fun! Played two games of Blood Bowl 7s!
Loved it! Took the #365firstschallenge Meetup group there for a night of #gamefirsts and played two new games. Large, bright, clean, place. Super friendly and helpful owner. They have over 2400 games to play. You can buy games as well or even rent them. You can stay as long as you want. Normal cost is $7 but on Tuesdays it was only $3. They have drinks and food as well. Much better than sitting at home watching tv.
So many games to choose from, great inclusive vibe
Good fun. we didnt playtest this at all, and red flags are great group games i love.
Since we were in Las Vegas for vacation we made a point to go to Meepleville Board Game Cafe, and meet Timm Metivier who is the owner and also runs the Dice Tower West convention in Las Vegas. I was absolutely blown away, even being short staffed and with a large group of bridge players, and other customers he still took the time to talk to us about his cafe, what games we are playing, where we were from and a bunch of other topics. The food was great,it was super affordable, and he came by our table multiple times to see if we were doing ok. We also picked up a couple of new games. If you are ever in Las Vegas you have got to stop by and check it out, with over 2600 games its a gamers paradise!!!
Great place didnt even know it existed until now they have so many games to choose from they offer drinks and food for you buy just an amazing place to spend time with friends and family
This is an awesome store, a great concept, and 98% a fun experience. There are literally thousands of games to try out, and the staff will help you with rules if you need it. Check the calendar for trivia league, since the room tends to get a little loud which may detract from game play. Overall, 5 stars!
This is a fantastic place to hang with friends or take a date to. The staff is welcoming and ready to show you a unique experience you’ll never forget. They will teach how to play tons of light as easy games. You’ve got food and beers options. The board game collection is massive with an intense selection ranging from Tiki-topple to Wingspan.
Always a fun place to go. Timm and Grant know the games and love helping teach how to play.
The staff are so supportive and make the atmosphere very welcoming. I come here all of the time with a large group of friends and we always come home satisfied. Great for parties. Great for dates. Great place to just hang out and be social. This is a place Ill keep coming back to as long as Im in Vegas. Food is a bit subpar and a bit overpriced, but you dont come here for the food, you come here for the games, and you can always just walk across the plaza and get a full pizza so no big deal. Ive had people come up to our group and be like, hey can I join you guys for the next game of Catan sor Captain Sonar or something and of course we say yes and theyre also so friendly. I cant express how much I love this place. Ill force all my friends whos even mildly interested in board games to come here at least once.
Love this place so much! They have so many great games, fun meetups, and lovely staff. Highly recommend!
Good service and good quality the employees are nice and lots of fun games to play and the pizza was so good I want to try it again and I had a total blast I give it 1k/1k this is one of the best service in Las Vegas 😊👌⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Really a great experience here each time I go. Of course nowhere is perfect but being a locally owned and operated establishment, it gets concessions. The best part about going here is the selection of games. Over 2000! Says so right on the front door. The remodel has made it quite a bit easier to enjoy time here. It gets pretty busy during DND nights and if I wanna come in and play a 30 min 2 player, I can usually find a place. When u come in say Hi to Grant, he is a stand up guy and will take care of you! If he is not there you can ask the owner Tim. They will go out of their way to make sure you are helped out!The food is a good price and very snack time oriented. Which is great for table top games. There are a few vegetarian options on the menu though I have never tried them. I recommend the cheesy tots, the grilled cheese with bacon and tomato added on, or a personal pizza. Are you worried you won’t be able to learn the games? Don’t worry you will. Just think about having fun and don’t focus so much on “winning”.I’ve included a few random photos of games I have enjoyed. Fog of love I still need to learn. Lol
The owner is always helpful and easy to talk to. If you dont know how to play a game, thats okay; he can be your instructional guide. Hes a wealth of knowledge and explains a complicated game quickly and with ease. If you havent been, visit. For my wife and I, this place has made us fall in love with board games.
Great people, and lots of fun!
This place is fantastic. Timm was very hospitable, he gave every customer a small tour around the shop/cafe while keeping a friendly demeanor. He even offered to call us a taxi after all our lyfts and Uber kept canceling on us. If I ever decide to move out of california Id definitely move to las vegas so I could go to this shop every day.
This place is an Awesome gem. Their game catalogs are massive and they are really helpful with the covid situation. 4 per table which is still great for a lot of their games. They also sell food and its delicious. Would come here again. Definitely want bamboleo now for my own home lol. Great place to try new games youve never heard of.
They really need to update their webpage. The price is more and the number of people at a table is higher so I would call to confirm these things before going in, but otherwise they have lots of board games. I knew which ones I wanted to play already based off of their list (one game I couldnt find, The Crew, but I had enough other games to play I never got the chance to ask about it) but Im sure the staff would be great at recommendations and/or teaching you a game if you asked. I highly recommend Splendor, Click Clack Lumberjack, and Just One if youre new to boardgames.I like that they tell you when the kitchen is closing, too, so I know to get my chocolate frappe before I lose my chance. I wish they kept it open later tbh but at least they let you know. Also I understand that you still charge someone full price even if theyll be there an hour and wont play any games (at least I understand your boss tells you to enforce this rule for consistency) but to tell my friend the reason she has to pay a fee is becauss the staff have to clean up after her are bs. We never left a mess, we always threw our trash away, and we put the games back where were told. When we visited again the next day all the games we played were on the same table we were told to put them, so next time please use a different excuse. Its for cleaning up after you, is just plain rude.
Play bridge at this location. Also backgammon.
Lots of games to choose from. Love being able to play a game with friends and having a beer at the same time! Definitely bringing my friends when they come to town.
The place was nice and clean. Had a lot of room to have plenty of people in there. I do have to say, the drinks and food is stupidly expensive. But its understandable that they have to make their money somehow. There is plenty of places around there to each. The place has alot of games. Alot of board games. You will have a good time with family or friends.
Great, friendly place with many board games to enjoy! They have Founders All Day IPA on tap!
Great little boardgame cafe and store. Wish I had more time in town to play.
Super friendly staff. There must be over 200 board games that you can play here. There is also a café where they have some tasty snacks and drinks when you and your friends need them.
This place is awesome and the staff is really helpful and friendly. They have tons of board games to choose from and the list gets bigger occasionally.
So many games!! Very helpful and friendly staff. Will be back 😁
Nice place with fun and intelligent people.
The service is good and the selection of games is massive, the only thing i might warn about is that the food is expensive, but its understandable
Great shop and friendly staff. All the games are neatly organized and easy to find. Great snacks and large tables. Me and the wife had a blast and are definitely coming back. Also they have a nice board with all their monthly events
Went in today to pick up some new games for game night. Staff was really friendly, selection was pretty decent variety. Ive been here for Trivia nights, theyre pretty fun. The werewolf games are a lot of fun too. Definitely recommend this place if youre looking for new board games for a game night, looking to play tabletop games and meet new friends, or just hang out. The food is okay too.
Great bridge club!
These guys know theyre stuff and are really good at customer service. Went in to look around and found so much more than i was expecting. There are not just board games, but a place to (semi-distantly) socialise. Get drinks and snacks at the snack bar and for $10 enter the cafe portion where games are played including Dungeons & Dragons 2-3 times a week.
Great store! Great staff! And I great way to play a game before you decide to purchase. Its got a very laid back comfy feel. We didnt try the food but it seemed mostly like concessions/snacks. They also have an escape room!
This is a very nice place. We had so much fun. It was a night of voices off as we mingled with the deaf community. The food was great and there are so many games to choose from. If you dont know how to play a game the staff will show you. I recommend this as a family night out or even a cool first date.
This place is a great board game cafe. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Tons of games to play there, and different groups to play all types of group games from werewolf to dnd. Ive just recently started going here, and Ive already met some awesome people while playing some fun new games.
Love the place. Started going every Friday with my friends and honestly enjoy every one. Hell. Makes my week every week!
We love this place, every year when we go to Vegas we set aside a day to come here together. Typically we spend $20 for the two of us to have snacks and play board games all day. We always find one or two that we love so much that we buy as soon as we get back home. Great way to try out games before you spend the money.
This place is amazing, it’s only $7 for a day of games. The staff are amazing and will even teach you how to play each game. Not only that even after just being incredible a guy came around handing out hand fulls of candy canes.
This place is awesome. Staff is helpful, even went the length to show us a tutorial for a game. Will be back here to buy more boardgames in the future.
Awesome place, the staff knows the board games and were more than helpful. Went there for the first time on my birthday, and definitely will be going back
One of the best places in town to go with friends. Amazing selection. Great food and drink prices. I have a blast every time I go. The owner is so extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Great for a date night or family experience. If you have not been, then you need to check it out ASAP.
I live really close but this was my first time hearing about this place; Im glad I did!! The staff are so helpful and attentive and most importantly theyre fun and they all seem to genuinely enjoy what theyre doing. The space itself is neat and tidy and has a really comfortable atmosphere for playing games. There are SO MANY to the point that it can feel overwhelming if you dont know what to look for, but thats where the wonderful customer service comes in. The staff will personally help you choose a game, tell you the instructions, and even play with you if theres enough time! (Ask for Billy -- hes a superstar!) Theres even some nice, reasonably priced refreshments you can order, too. Overall 10/10 experience and I definitely intend to go again!
Reasonable prices & friendly staff. Always come here for Dungeons & Dragons for the Adventures League Thusday nights and its always a blast! Never had a bad experience. Tabletop games that they sell is a good variety and there are an infinite amount of tabletop games you can play with your friends.
I love this game and cafe store. Best one in Las Vegas. The staff are so friendly. I love how they walk around to check on customers. The food is excellent.
This place was pretty good, but it got better after the remodel. Nice space for a large variety of games. Their cafe is pretty good, though weirdly priced in my opinion.Good for just two people looking for a calm day, or for people like us who were a group of 12 going for a team event.I think it was like 7 bucks for an all day pass on a Saturday. I like it.
The best place in Vegas! Im a member and I would like to have time to come here everyday! Tim, the owner, is an awesome guy and the guys that work there are great! 2000 different games in their library makes the place perfect people that you (dont) know and just have fun! Cya guys!
Very helpful staff, had two games husband has been looking for, for ages. Clean and fairly organized store (went as store opened, on delivery day, so shipments were in process of being set out)
Great place to hang out. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great variety of games from single player to large groups. Board games, card games, pretty much whatever you can think of. If youre not sure what you want to play ask, the staff know the games and will make suggestions and explain how to play. They have a cafe that serves food and drinks (including beer and wine). All in all, a nice, clean, comfortable place to go alone or with friends.
Friendly service and lots of games and tables.
This place is super fun if youre looking for a new gaming adventure. The staff is very helpful with suggestions and will even show you how to play many of the games.
My preferred place in Vegas for board games. The atmosphere is inviting, the people are friendly, the staff know their business and are happy to assist. The food is palatable if forgettable, a small fee gets you in all day (or get a membership like I did) and there are a huge number of games available to play.
Plenty of games with a solid cafe with reasonable prices staff is always friendly and will teach you the newest games that are out. If your new they have great suggestions as well. Getting to know the event schedules are nice if your looking for more groups or more quiet times to enjoy.
What makes this place so special is that its the only one of its kind out here (that I know of). A board game cafe - $7 to have u limited access to all their board games, so a group of people can go and just have a good time with an excellent collection of games to pick from. Another cool aspect is the cafe-part. They have drinks and snacks foods for sale too, so you dont have to leave to get food. Its not amazing food or anything, but it hits the spot and allows you to remain there and comfy. And the #1 beast thing about this place is the owner. Hes a cool, really kind guy. He greets EVERYOBE who walks in the store warmly and makes you feel comfortable. Hes very proud of his business, and he takes care of it, and his customers, extremely well. He really enjoys his work, and it shows in how the place runs as a business
Timm was incredibly nice and welcoming plus very good at explaining games that were new to my friend. Enjoyed it so much I wish I had one just like it back home.
Excellent place to meet up and play board games. They have an enormous selection you can play if you dont have a game to bring. The staff is very helpful and the snacks very well prices.
This place is absolutely one of my favorites. I had a brother come into town and asked me to take him back here. The place has a cool feel to it. Makes me feel like I am back in Tucson.
My sister and I went to Mapleville to get are chicken sandwich that everybody in our family Raves about we were so surprised and so happy that we came into this place if you enjoy board games or video Championship competitions anything to do with games check this place out this is a five-star place to bring family members have a meet-up learn how to place different board games some card games you need to Google this and check this out Im giving it a 5-star the chicken sandwich was a five-star and so was the pretzels Im going to also add some pictures this is a lot for me to say since we are The Outsiders that came to visit we will be back when we come back to Las Vegas
This is one of the best local hangout spots in town, if boardgames are your thing. Weve visited quite often, whether for a date night with just the two of us or a large party of over ten, and weve always had a fantastic time. The staff are incredibly well versed in their games, of which they have a mind-blowing selection, and are also attentive and friendly. My only complaint would be the cafe. I just wish they had a wider variety of snacks and meals. It seems like they are working on expanding their menu, though. The has been something new every time weve visited. Whether youre young or old, Im positive youll love it here.
Have been over for a couple of trivia nights. They do different themes (my fave is Harry Potter) and have different event nights that arent just trivia. They have a day or monthly pass to be able to play games, a full service snack bar, and tons of games to try or buy! Solid place to hang out.
At $7 a person for unlimited use (per day) of the library, it feels like a bargain. My wife and I tried out Food Chain Magnate, and after slogging through the setup and the manual faced a somewhat cheerless decision of either packing it back up or playing a dreary economic game that neither of us were quite grasping; however, one of the staff helped us out with the rules and played along with us. I only realized later that this person had put in the time (a couple of hours, at least!) after their shift to play the game with us so wed have a better experience. Thats just great.
Great value. The game selection is super deep. The cafe also serves beer. And the staff is super amazing. I think his name was grant. Always did a fantastic job getting our group into a great game. Making sure we understand it and have a super fun time.
This place is wonderful. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the selection of games is almost too big, and the food is delicious and varied, even for vegan diets. Love going here every chance I get.
All right, if youre a gamer, this is the place to go. For $5, you can stay all day play as many games as you like, and the staff will teach you how to play any games you havent played before. Everyone here is super friendly, plus there is a snack bar with drinks. Members also get discounts on products there. This is a great place to try games youve never seen before or meet people who share the same Hobbies as you do.
I went here last week while visiting Vegas from Argentina, not really knowing what to expect. The place is awesome with a lot of tables to do comfortable gaming. The food is adequate. The prices are spot on. Great attention. The staff is very friendly and helpful, both regarding to gaming and rules as well as for general service. Amazing experience overall. Unfortunately it was an hour-long bus trip to get there from the strip, but totally worth it. Will try to re visit before leaving
Its a nice place to go and play a nice variety of games for a descent price. I like their rewards program they have in place, and what the offer for sale.
First time out at this place, and we LOVED it! Friendly staff, with helpful suggestions (since we didn’t know what to play!), affordable snacks, and SO MANY GAMES to choose from! We stayed for almost five hours! Definitely coming here again. They have different specials every day of the week, and for this month, everyone gets in free on Wednesdays!!
Cool place for a family night. Any game you can think of is available. Also has a cute little cafe.
Amazing board game cafe! The selection of games is spectacular. Top notch!
I love coming here. Such a fun, accessible, and chill option for a night out that is so comfortable it feels like a night in. They also now serve beer along with small food items so its a one-stop shop. Be prepared to spend a couple hours here. Nothing hurts like having to end a game early since its closing time!
While on vacation with my 11 year old son, we stopped in for a quick visit but we had so much fun that we spent 6 hrs there. The owner and staff members were friendly. There is a huge game library available to play and a great selection of games to buy. The food and snacks were reasonably priced and there were plenty of tables and comfortable chairs. If I was a local, I would go a couple times a week!
This place is heaven. Every game imaginable plus all the great expansion packs, numerous snacks, and friendly faces. I liked the Murder Manson game the best. The owner was really nice and welcoming.
I love this place. The more people you bring, the better itll be, but its even great with 2 people. Staff is usually knowledgeable about every game and has great game suggestions. Take a picture by the Worlds Biggest Meeple (Just past the doorway and to your left based on latest remodel) and tag them :)I bring everyone here. Always a fun time.
I have been coming here since they first opened. This is a great place to come with friends or with a date. You pay to enter the store, once in you can play any board game they have. We go here whenever we want to try a game out before buying it. The workers will also teach you a game that your interested in. There is also a little cafe where you can get food and drinks.
Amazing place with amazing staff. Food is good as well and there is a HUGE selection of games. The $7 for all day fun is worth it and students pay only $3.50 on Fridays!
I have been going here for years, and though I love it to pieces, make sure to go on a day that has a promotion running, and make sure to bring friends. The food is good, the games are fun, but its 7 dollar admission on a non-promotion day on top of food. Also, allow extra time because some games run over their projected times.
Really nice time. Comfortable environment. Clean. The guy who runs the place helps you without being overbearing. Hes so nice to explain the basics of the games and then leaves you alone to try it. But hes available for questions if needed. $5 to play unlimited. If you dont like a game you can choose another until you find one you like. He has snacks and drinks available. Its an awesome place!!! You seriously cant find places like this anymore
I highly recommend this amazing board game cafe to anyone who enjoys board games and fun times. The staff are so knowledgeable and always willing to jump in when needed. Whether you want to try out a game before buying, or youre just looking for a place for a game night, this place is SO worth the time and small fee!
Friendly greeting coming in the door. We were given a tour of the place and he explained about activities, calendar, and age appropriate activities for my son.We will be regulars for several of the games. It is an awesome place and friendly faces.
This cafe is great! Awesome staff that is friendly, helpful, and passionate about their hobby. I grabbed a chicken bacon ranch wrap that was really good. Amazing place with a friendly atmosphere to play some games, and have a a bite to eat.
We went here with a couple of friends and it was perfect. There are tons of tables depending if you want more privacy or not. There food is pretty good, they have quick lunch options like nachos and wraps.
Very good place for board game. Have a lot of fun. Friendly personnel. And the best is you will be guided to anything you need.
This is a super cool place for board game enthusiasts. I only wish it wasnt so far away from my home in the middle of town. They of course have your basic games to purchase but whats really fun about this place is you can come in and spend a small fee to be able to play a massive amount of games inside the store. So if you and your friends are just looking to try games or explore a new hobby I would definitely recommend this place to get your feet wet.
Fun place. Very inexpensive, very friendly staff, very very large collection of games. Smells a little musty but once youre used to it you hardly notice.
Manager (blue hair, tall) was very helpful and actually taught us a board game in less than a minute. Great selection!
Amazing place! Literally the best of all the other board game places Ive ver been. Always something nifty going on and games for all experience levels.
Very friendly staff, we got three games explained to us by two different people both were very knowledgeable. The food is good and the prices are relatively low. I will definitely come back there the next time Ill be in Vegas!
This place is awesome! Perfect place to play board games, eat and chill. The staff is very nice too! Definitely going to be coming back.
