Without a doubt the best board game purveyor in the state, and the single most well organized and friendly board game store front I have ever visited. The owner was both friendly, and knowledgeable. Tons of kickstarter games that you would other wise not be able to acquire without going through the risky process of backing them yourself. Prices are incredibly competitive, to the point that youre almost guaranteed not to find anything lower.Excellent shop!

My husband and I first discovered The Gaming Goat while visiting in Arizona and were so excited to find out there was one in Las Vegas. We went to the new location today and it’s so nice! So much bigger and easier to see all the games. Staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. Made some great recommendations. There’s so many board games to choose from I easily could have spent hundreds of dollars. I love that the prices are lower, definitely won’t be buying off Amazon anymore. Can’t wait to come back again to buy more games!

My one pet peeve is going into a store and not being greeted especially when theres an empty store. Much more not even being acknowledged or asked what we can be helped with. Maybe because I was with my 2 kids who were looking for cards they heard from our friends that they may carry there. Theres a lot of nice tabletop games though. We were in there way longer than seconds which begs my position to wonder why you would respond with looking through footage and undermining my time in the store. Great little store. The prices were cheaper than even Amazon and it had lots of games, and items, that Ive never seen back home. The worker was super nice as well.

Went there and got a new set of cute blueberry-lemonade looking dice and I love them! Fantastic price. Also unexpectedly walked into a fantastic sale and got the Vampire the Masquerade player handbook for $10 cheaper than I usually see it. Totally awesome but I couldn’t get the dice for the game on sale cause they were buried in freight. Understandable tho!

I guarantee this is the best looking game store in the United States with the largest retail selection. Prices are competitive with every company in the United States including Amazon. The gaming goat even has a large amount of Kickstarter releases where they will take the risk of a Kickstarter not delivering so you don’t have to. Solid five stars.

Great shop! A lot of variety and fun games and minis. I thought the gentleman working may have lacked some customer service or care about who was in store. Never tried to make any conversation. They do not provide bags - so bring one or make it your last shop. Great pricing.

This place is AMAZING! You cant find gaming selection like this very many places. They have a bunch of kick starter games that come with bonus materials. They have a Facebook page that can keep you updated on new items. 3 visits so far and Im so happy with this place. They will most likely have what youre looking for.

I was worried at first when Google Maps took me to the wrong store front, after wandering around up stairs for awhile I finally found it. Shop is first floor on the back side of where google maps drops you. Shop was worth the wait, huge selection & excellent prices. Sadly no mtg singles but I left with a sealed box and a smile on my face.

Best shop I’ve visited in Las Vegas! At a time when card shops are open to selling all their inventory to scalpers and/or selling product at scalper prices... The Gaming Goat has done the complete opposite and is selling cards at retail price, but limited quantity per person. They’re banning anyone that they see scalping the market. They’re the ones who are trying to help put a stop to what has gotten so outrageous. They’ve earned my business as I will be buying from them as much as I can! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

If your a old school gamer then this is the place for you. As a gen Xer I found this place to be a breath of fresh air. All the games rely on imagination and not graphics fed to you by a monitor. The roll playing game choices are the best Ive seen since visiting game stores in the 1980s. Check it out!

Like this place they always have some cool stuff. I walked in asked if they had some Pokémon cards and Jeff got me the last shining fates box was esthetic but I’m still waiting on vivid voltage back order but hey I’m still young, THANKS JEFF!!!

I had preordered some Pokemon cards back in October 2020. After 5 months of waiting. Jeff tells me hes going to cancel my order because he says that Im a reseller.  Apparently he was stalking me and saw my ads online, which is super shady. Mind you this was going to be for my personal collection and I have never previously bought anything from his store, so how would he know that I was even going to resell them? He just goes around making baseless accusations.Its also hypocritical of him to say that  because he RESELLS products at a markup too. Theres a few Pokemon cards that hes selling for over msrp, an example being the Pokémon Shining Fates Pikachu V Box. MSRP is $19.99, yet theyre selling them for $24.99. Hes also selling Shining Fates elite trainer boxes for $64.99 when msrp is $49.99?I actually could care less if my order was cancelled. Losing out on some pokemon cards wouldnt be the end of the world. But its the fact at how he handled it.I was told I had to go in store to get my refund and that Jeff personally was going to handle it. Due to previous messages and seeing how he is so confrontational and aggressive on Facebook, Id figure it was a good idea to have the Mall Security present when I went to get the refund. It was a good thing I did.As soon as I got there, I told him I just wanted my refund and I had no words to say to and didnt want any problems. But no, Jeff wanted to argue. All the while I told him, I have nothing to talk to about, just give me my refund, I dont want any problems He even had the audacity to THREATEN me saying if I see you post anything on the internet, youll be sorry Well guess what bud this is where its going.Ive never met a business owner so disrespectful and rude as he was. Also called me trash as well as everyone else he deals with. Ordered from their website, got no communication from them until I threatened to cancel my order and no shipping updates until 12 days after they created a tracking number. After sending an apology email and providing feedback on lack of communication, their CEO advised he didnt have time to read what I said, effectively acknowledging the fact that he literally does not care about your customer experience as long as he has your money. Do not buy anything from this company unless you want to be given multiple excuses and have to threaten to charge back your order with your bank just to receive your products.

This is a little overdue, but the Gaming Goat is the best shop out here in Vegas. The owner, is an amazing man who is well informed in all matter of tabletop products. They always have what I need there for my Dungeons and Dragons campaign, and if they dont, they can find it for me. Thank you guys for revolutionizing the way I see gaming stores. Usually love Gaming Goat for minis and the like, its a really great place honestly.Oddly when I went there on the 16th of December, based on the hours i see on Google, it seems they were open.All of the staff seemed busy unpacking things, and when we wanted to check out, the person at the counter had headphones in and never looked up to try to check us out.Didnt want to wait there forever and it felt like we werent welcome, so we just put away the stuff we had and left. I never had this experience before, so it was kinda sad I couldnt grab some paints while I was there.Id reccomend going to another Gaming Goat or just not during the night shift at Town Square.

After holding my funds ($1100+) for 8 weeks I was finally told by an employee at the store (Brandon), that my order had been messed up and marked as completed by mistake by someone. He apologized and said hed talk to Jeff to get the order fixed right away and was very nice. Within a half hour Jeff had cancelled my order with no message to me at all, on a product that has now gone up in price from what I prepaid for it 8 week ago, and cannot be rebought at the old price anymore. Many other buyer friends of mine have had similar bad experiences with TGG and we are all now done purchasing here. Do not recommend at all.

Love this place, wall to wall board games and accessories. We saw many games we didnt know existed and the prices were right when compared to online prices. Games and puzzles for all ages, will definitely be back.

They have every board game you could possibly want, and if they don’t have it - they’ll get it. They’re also the only shop I know that actively backs Kickstarters, which saves me some grey hairs. No one beats their prices. I exclusively purchase all of my physical Dungeons & Dragons sourcebooks and accessories from this company. I tell everyone I can about this shop. If you’re in town and into board games or TTRPGs, give these guys your business. You will not be disappointed.

The gaming goat is my go to for all my tabletop needs, and in these uncertain time its nice that curb side pickup is still an option. A while back I ordered a brick of miniatures and while I was driving past the owner cam out and hand delivered them right into the driverside window.They have minis, board games, books, dice, and so much more. If your in Vegas is say this place is 1000% worth checking out

The game I bought two hours ago had the wrong components inside. When I asked about a return or exchange I was told I needed to contact the manufacturer and ask for replacements because they dont accept returns on open products (I guess Im supposed to know through osmosis that the game has the wrong contents). No customer service for the products they sell, and want to pass off a problem instead of helping the customer. I purchased games here regularly, but will now be taking my business elsewhere.

Great place with consistently cheaper prices than any other place of its type in the valley. I have one chief complaint though. They have a major lack of miniatures and no Star Trek Attack Wing items. If they did, I would pretty much be an exclusive shopper here.

Amazing store and the games are cheaper than anyone else and most of the time amazon too I wish the mini and paint selection was bigger but I’m sure that will happen in time. Nice store. Larger selection of dice than the Henderson store. I like that they sell individual dice of all sizes, not just D20s like the Henderson store.Still waiting on them to sell used or like new 2e Dungeons & Dragons materials .Until then Ill have to keep getting that stuff elsewhere.

Best place in Las Vegas or Henderson for board games hands down. We have tried tons of shops around town and have never found a quality of service, variety of options, or price to match the Gaming Goat. Their prices are even better than Amazon!I have purchased board games directly from Amazon for years and years always thinking they would be as cheap as it comes (it works that way for most other things like that) but the gaming goat has beat their posted price for me every time so far. Since then he has shown me that he is bad for the community with the way he bashes on other, honestly better stores. Now I avoid his businesses and discourage my friends from them too since there are better options all over town. So I have since updated the review to a 1 star because of that mans continued lack of professionalism.

Great gaming store located on the far south end of the strip. Very large selection of games that are priced fairly. Owner seems really friendly too! Saw some games here that we have not seen at other stores, which was nice!

I’ve been to this store about once a month since August, and I’ve never left disappointed. Between the fantastic prices(30% off) and the amazing selection(Entry level games, RPG books, literal mountains of Gloomhaven, and everything else in between), it’s easy to justify the trip for me. Even times where I was hunting for some niche, heavy, board game and they didn’t have it in stock, Jeff got it in for me by next week. Honestly, every time I come here, it’s probably the best retail experience I’ve ever had.

The Good: Truly the lowest prices on games I have found anywhere. They also have a fairly large selection to choose from. Staff is usually friendly and helpful.The Bad: The short version is, they completely fail to communicate with their customers and failed to deliver pre-orders. The long version is, I had 2 pre-orders that were not delivered and nobody from the store ever called with any updates for more than 6 weeks after it was supposed to be delivered. I physically went to the store 3 times to try and ascertain what the plan was for the pre-orders to no avail and was assured that Jeff (an owner?) would call with updates. For over 6 weeks I did not get a single update. I did not get a single phone call. When I went to the store, Jeff was never available and nobody at the store could provide updates. I finally decided to give up and requested a full refund, which Joe (another owner?) promised to expedite.Overall: If your game is in stock, I would buy from the Gaming Goat as their prices are the best in town. I would never special order or pre order anything from them, however, as this seems to be a glaring weakness for the store. So if you want a limited edition game or want access to a game the 1st day it comes out, look elsewhere.
