Neat store specializing in magic the gathering cards, sports cards, pokemon cards. They carry some rare cards and hold events at the store on occasion. The staff is very knowledgeable and if you have any questions they are more than willing to help you out. Everyone i met at this store is very friendly and honestly funny. This place continues to take fantastic care of my son and I every single time we come in. Always very helpful, incredibly knowledgeable, and have never been anything but personable and friendly. If youre into any TCG at all I highly recommend you pay them a visit. Went here to get my cell phone glass fixed. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. They were fast professional and got me going in 30 min. They claim they will beat anyones price. Now I didnt shop around to confirm but I believe them.

I purchased a few different Pokémon cards. They were not overpriced, and I was happy. I am from out of town and did not notice that one of the cards I purchased wasn’t in my team bag. I called the store and they were extremely helpful. They took the time to mail me the card that I had left at the store. 5 star service for sure!

I play Magic primarily, so the other aspects of the store I cant comment on. But as a space for great Magic-related product and as a place to play in card tournaments, its solid. Im looking forward to playing there more regularly.

I always get a terrific service from Vince and all other associates at Darkside Games TCGs & Sports Cards, which has been my Daughters favorite place for Pokémon cards for couple years now, but today especially Emma in iPhone service area ( iPhone Wizards) was awesome! In fact, both, Vince and Emma helped me with the iPhone battery replacement, paired with a very fair pricing and quick service. Large selection of MTG product within the store. It was really hard not to go over budget and spend all my money here! The store boasts packs dating back to revised which I pressed me! There is also a great selection of singles including all the dual lands. If youre an MTG geek like I am you will want to swing by and at least experience it.

If youre looking to play in Pokemon or Magic tournaments, this is the best place in town! They easily have the biggest selection in town for singles. Staff is great and very knowledgeable

Just competed in a team trios event held at the store. Tournament organizers allowed the integrity of the tournament to be compromised and blamed the new system that wizards put in place. The owner pretended like he sympathized that people got screwed during a cash event but offered no resolution. I wouldnt recommend anyone playing any events at this store.

I bought a variety of Pokémon packs like Crimson Invasion and Steam Siege. I bought over fifty packs and realized after opening four packs that they were all resealed packs. The packs clearly had tamper marks and every single pack contained a green code. Cards were in backwards and upside down. I should have known they were fishy when The guy helping me disappeared for ten minutes and came out from the back with a handful of packs, instead of selling the packs at the front in the booster box. This place is a scam and they know it. They also delete comments about resealed packs

Owner Don is a nice and fair man gave me free boxes free card sleeves and two discounted card boxes already. Every other Tuesday of the month they have a card trade night it starts at 7 PM it’s an amazing experience it brings all card traders together and helps bring the community together great shop!

We couldn’t find Pokémon cards anywhere and found this place. They were so nice and patient with my daughter who couldn’t make up her mind about what she wanted. Highly recommend!

Incredible company ran by a great group of people who really care about the magic/ pokemon/ nerd community. Always a fun place to play some good fnm tournaments with a great play space [ pre covid] cant wait until tournament play is up and running again. This place is great with wonderful people. Customer service is always on point. 1 Problem, I wish they had more options, Sell Yugioh and dragonball, not just Magic and Pokemon. Even though they advertise Yugioh they dont have any. They would get more business if they did.

That guy Don at front counter is good fella. I dont know what deodorant he wears but he always smells fresh, even with all those dudes hanging out at the front counter. I can tell he wants to scoot them over but he seems like too nice of a dude. You gotta give them the nudge. If his last name was Trump he would just build a wall but its not. Anyways, the girls that work at Darkside are very friendly and knowledgable when searching for used video games. Best place in town for Magic the Gathering cards in Las Vegas and other TCGs. Super thankful for finding this place last year! Great prices and friendly staff. My brother and I have gotten his screen replaced several times but, we decided to return here since Wireless Toys caused more issues with his phone. He broke his screen once again on his iPhone 7plus and these guys always get it back to top shape! Definitely recommend them to everyone!!!

Some staff members are pretty cool, and will be very honest and straight forward with you concerning pricing and such.Now, some other staff members on the other hand, and very unfortunately, lack such qualities, and will not be all that honest with you.Word of warning, make sure to buy and trade only a little at a time, and make sure they itemize each individual card for you, as well as having an idea of what your final total should cost, since you definitely cannot take the word of certain employees.And for those curious, this concerns my last 2 transactions, one of which I was in a hurry, and was sold a VERY badly damaged card at full price (though I did trade for it, but still, not a very nice to do), and the other transaction, I simply took the associates word for what he was giving me for the quoted price, but it ended up costing about 10 dollars more then it should have. Not huge, but again, not very nice, and this was after waiting around for well over 2 hours for them to finish putting together a list I handed them, one which I gave to them the day before.Again, not exactly huge, Ive been ripped off much worse, but practice some buyer beware a little bit over here.Though I will not write them off for this, my first time dealing with them, they were actually good to me, and gave me a more then fair deal for some of my old, dusty cardboard. Their pricing also tends to be vastly more reasonable then literally all the other card shops you will find around Las Vegas.They also tend to be very cut-and-dry during transactions as well, which I actually appreciate, as it is a preferable change of pace from the usual comic/card shop attitude on display over at some of the other places. You know the one Im talking about.

The best there is. Period. Dont be fooled by imitations, Ive been doing business with Paul for over 7 years. They definitely crush their competition, and I would be surprised if their is any left soon. They have the best prices on MTG in Las Vegas. They almost every Magic The Gathering staple card in stock at all times. This all applies to their retro video games selection. I was talking with Donald the other owner of Darkside and he gave me his full attention for over an hour. Donald has been playing MTG since unlimited, and knows his cards. The place is covered with old Nintendo Power issues, and Lana is a smiling face ready to help with your video game questions. I left the store with a complete legacy MTG deck and Super Nintendo, made my day.

We make an effort to buy our games here rather than online and we feel like they make lots of efforts to be really customer focused.

I like coming to Darkside- they are my local game store and they’re one of the only stores open as late as they are. They have some of the best trade-in credit in Las Vegas; not to mention they have most cards you could need.Lana and Xander are great employees; they were very knowledgeable about store product and helped me out a lot.Also, you can get your phone fixed here 👍🏽

Its a great place to play magic the gathering and also good place to trade cards for multiple card games. This includes Pokemon and final fantasy. They also have good gaming stuff. Stuff like Nintendo games and systems. The employees are nice and the people who come are super friendly. If you are looking for anything I stated above I recommend darkside the most.

This store looks pretty awesome, but for me being a yugioh player. They dont sell any yugioh products even though they advertise them. So if you live far as I did save yourself the drive, unless you play magic then this store is exactly your place.

The mark up on new products in insane.

Great for singles, sealed product is priced above what it should be in many cases and can be gotten much cheaper at other spots. If you are looking for singles this is the place to be though. It has the feel of a large clique and is moderately unwelcoming to new comers. The layout of the main store area is lacking in the sense that there is only one register 90% of the time so if you are trying to quickly grab a water and pay its next to impossible and I have been ignored multiple times while trying to purchase items. Overall its great for singles and trades if you have cards that are actually valuable and the play area is the best in town. Amazing bathrooms.

I own Retro Games & Entertainment out of Twin Falls Idaho, and I was able to make a large purchase deal with these guys to fill my inventory making me the largest retro game store in Idaho now.Mark, Paul, and Don are also some of the most professional polite and well educated people in their field and I highly recommend any new or ongoing magic the gathering players to go and experience this store!

I was greeted by someone that had the personality of a zombie and was looking at the floor the entire time talking to me. Almost all their games were double overpriced. They were selling Super Mario 64 and Luigis Mansion for over $40 which are $25 games. When I asked the crew working there if they are set on the price as marked they told me they are because casual people will pay that price for those games. If you want real honest prices stick to the best gaming store in Vegas Retro City Games in Henderson they will sell you Mario 64 for $25 which is the real price its going for loose not $40.

Darkside is where I go for all of my Magic The Gathering needs. It is amazing in so many ways. They have the highest trade-in rate youll probably ever see and have nearly any card for purchase at a low price. The staff is extremely kind and helpful as well as devoted to match your needs in paraphenalia and magic cards alike. Events are a great time and theres no excuse to not get into this game when everyone there is eager to assist in deckbuilding and strategy.

This place rocks. Hands down number one spot in Las Vegas for Magic, Pokemon, Final Fantasy, SW Destiny etc. I heard even Chum from pawn stars attends Pokemon tourneys here. This place is one of the Top 10 magic stores in the United States. Must visit, it says fabulous Darkside Games but it should say world famous. These guys are great, they had some very rare cards which was very surprising to see in-stock. Their trade rates for MTG are the absolute best in the nation. Lol, I hope they can stay in business with those rates. They also had a nice selection retro games such as NES staples and some hard to find Super Nintendo games.

Went for the competitive prerelease and had a good time. Everyone was friendly. Wish they provided a little more direction on the game room with a judge making rounds. Other than that is was organized and had a good system to make sure play went smooth.

First time going here. Nice little shop and the guy running it was friendly. I called to see if they had some stock of Magic the Gathering TCG boxes. He held the boxes for me until I made it down there, which I really appreciated! Worth the trip!

This place has more Magic cards than all the other stores in Las Vegas combined. And that is probably an understatement, as they probably have double or triple. Not to mention they are probably the only store that has people working who play and know the game. I was definitely impressed and I will be going to Darkside for all of my MTG and TCG needs whenever I am in Las Vegas.

I went in with a friend looking for some MTG singles to add to a deck, and was incredibly pleased with both their service and prices. Their booster packs are cheaper than anywhere Ive seen in town, as are their prebuilt decks. Their individual card prices are the lowest, too, they were super accommodating in helping us look for the cards we wanted. The guy working that night straight up gave my friend a card out of his own collection when we couldnt locate it in their stock. Id definitely go back.

Thumbs down ... Yesterday, I saw Sega Saturn console on OfferUp. I messaged them. I asked them for my questions. NO ONE ANSWER IT BACK TO ME. Today, I came to the store there. I asked them about it. They dont have it. WHY THE POST STILLLLLL UP ON OFFERUP????!! IF SOLD IT THEN PLEASE DELETE IT FROM OFFERUP THANK YOU. YES YOU KNEW THE CONSOLE SOLD BUT NOT REMOVE IT FROM OFFERUP HUH?
