I feel this place is very friendly. They followed all the covid protocols. They were quick to get me in and out. One of the best optometrists I’ve seen in a good while.
Best eye exam and care I’ve ever received. They sent me a text message confirming my appointment, got another after asking to rate my experience. I was seen within a few minutes from when I showed up. Parking wasn’t a problem. All around it was a great experience. Would recommend.
They did a wonderful job at explaining things. My little one needed glasses, and I don’t know the first thing about any of this. I feel that Dr. Brooker was very thorough. The questions I had, he was detailed in answering them. Both my child and I are satisfied with the experience.
The front desk and doctor did a great job. The lady who helped me pickout my glasses was patient. I did have a problem when I got home, they told me to come right back and fixed it right away. Happy with the experience.
Seeing I’m new to the area, I started to see Dr. Brooker and I’m glad he was the one I chose. He’s a very caring, and understanding doctor when it comes to eye care. He’s been able to help with my vision, changing my glasses, and a few other concerns I had. I can’t recommend him or his practice enough.
I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Brooker and his team. The staff was friendly and helpful when it came to my new glasses. I feel Dr. Brooker was very thorough with everything. Everything about this office is wonderful!
Place is great, my new optometrist. This was my first time coming here, so paperwork was very minimal. I was quick to get in. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
Everyone was very helpful. Pricing was reasonable seeing I didn’t have any insurance.
5-star practice. They offer the best eye care throughout all of Vegas!
They helped a lot when it came to my contacts. This was the first time ever getting anything like this, so naturally I had a handful of questions. They explained everything. Thank you.
I had a good experience. I’d recommend them to anyone.
I picked up glasses a few days back. Noticed a minor problem. I called in and they were able to fix that problem the same day. Can’t say thank you enough.
I have been seeing Dr. Brooker for about two years now. I couldn’t be happier with how things have been going. Very friendly doctor.
Everyone was wearing a mask. Office was clean. A+ experience.
Came in for my first exam. Both paperwork and wait times were very minimal. The office was clean and everyone was wearing a mask. Thank you.
Doctors are very professional, Very thorough eye examination. The doctor took the time to explain everything to me. I didn’t leave with any unanswered questions. The office was clean and I appreciate the fact everyone was wearing masks. Definitely recommend.
I have suffered through a disorganized front office staff for years and a disregard for my time. After the 3rd year of them giving me a hard time about my insurance, calling repeatedly to harassass me about my insurance information, and today telling me after I had been waiting for 30 minutes that the Dr. wasnt even in the office yet and he would be another 45 min. I decided I had enough. I will not go back. I went home and called Summerlin Vision and was able to an appointment the next day AND no insurance hassle!
Positive experience as always. People are always nice, they were able to fix a problem that happened a week after getting my new glasses last minute.
Rarely do I write reviews, but this time I felt I had to write something about this business. I recently made an appointment for a contact exam for my son. To give context, I have vision insurance, and without insurance I can go to a number of eye doctors in the area and get a contact eye exam for between $100 and $150 dollars. I went to this doctor and they said that my insurance would cover the exam, but I would have to pay for contact fitting $189 and $39 for something else I cant remember. I would be paying $220 with insurance, for something I would pay $150 somewhere else with no insurance. Generally, contact fitting fees are much less. You should expect to pay around $50. Paying more than $75 and you are being taken advantage of. I have been getting contacts for 30 years and have never paid this fee. This is just a money grab.
Doctor was great- Support staff is less than sub-par. I do not recommend the Summerlin location. Long waits over 2 hours to see the eye doctor-Lied to by office staff about contact brand -store randomly closed during business hours- and once they agreed to refund for products ordered incorrectly. They never did. I have given them well over 30 days to correct. Save yourself the time/money & trouble and go else where.
The receptionist on the phone was not professional. She asked me my husbands full social number, date of birth, and his full name on the phone. Normally, office receptionist doesnt ask our full social number on the phone. During telling the information, I was disconnected twice. They never got back to me. Very uncomfortable experience.
This company is absolutely ridiculous! Sign clearly posted on their office door says they are open 9 to 5 today. I take a 30-minute drive up here to get my glasses repaired and they are closed! They said the employee had a family emergency and no one else could work! Are you kidding me that they have one employee? Their entire business is based on one employee? That is just so unprofessional! I wish I had never purchased my glasses from these people and I feel like Im a hostage of their horrible customer service. My glasses are falling apart and all I need is some of their specialized screws and cant get them! Its ridiculous. I cant get other places to help because I bought the damn frames here. Big mistake the doctor is fantastic but everything else about this company is absolutely horrible terrible customer service and all they want to do is take your money. Once they have your money theyre through with you!
The doctor is fantastic but his support staff is so bad I had to go elsewhere. I assume they are related to him, because why else would he put up with the friendly but totally incompetent staff. Stay away from Summerlin location.
I spent close to $400.00 on glasses & contacts and 1 year later I reached out to them because I had 5 “bad” contact lens (ones that caused pain when I put them in) that I wanted sample replacements for, but they wouldn’t give them to me without me seeing the optometrist. I don’t think that I’d fair —since I paid over $50.00 per box and 5 bad ones were almost 1 box. I won’t be returning as a client.
I dont even want to give a one star, but I want clients to read this. I purchased a Groupon for Botox, which expired (my fault). However, the Groupon Voucher does say that the amount paid will never expire and may be applied toward any goods or services offered by the merchant. I made 3 phone call to Advanced Vision Institute and each time I was promised a return call that day. On the 3rd call the receptionist said they no longer will honor the Groupon unless I can find enough people to cover the cost of the Botox for the number of people that purchased the Groupon (How am I to accomplish this task?) The only way to receive Botox is to purchase 50 units for $400. Which means I will be paying $849 for 50 units of Botox - completely out of line.
Do not use the Summerlin location. I ordered contacts there initially In January of this year only to be told that they forgot to place the order. I re-ordered them over a month ago & still have not received anything. I actually went into the office today and they couldnt even find my file. Ive gotten my insurance company involved at this point because I have used all of my vision benefits and have nothing to show for it outside of an exam. Ridiculous and unprofessional to say the least.
I started being seen by Dr. Brooker several years ago. At that time, my vision was really bad and I had to wear tri focals. Other eye Docs had told me that not only was I not a good candidate for the laser surgeries that were new at the time, but I was also not a good candidate for contact lenses. I was going to go on a cruise and really wanted to snorkel and scuba dive. However, I would not be able to see anything without my glasses. I visited Dr. Brooker and he told me that not only could he fit me with contact lenses, but that with the advances in the laser surgeries, I was an ideal candidate. The only drawback was that with my age, there was a good possibility that I would need reading glasses. I wore contact lenses on my cruise and was able to FINALLY be in the water and see clearly. After the cruise, Dr. Brooker led me thru the process to get Lasix on both of my eyes. 2 Days after the surgery, I remember riding in my friends car on the way to a followup visit and seeing the leaves on trees without my glasses for the first time in 30 years. It was amazing. I did have to wear reading glasses however. Dr. Brooker did all of my follow up care and was really great! While I was thrilled with the results, I really wanted to be free of all glasses. Dr. Brooker told me that there was a new surgery that was in the final stages of approval by the FDA. It was the KAMRA inlay treatment. This surgery would free me of reading glasses. I told Dr. Brooker to let me know when it was approved because I was definitely interested.About a year ago Dr. Brooker told me that it was available. Not only did he walk me thru the process, he was even in the room with the surgeon making sure that I was well taken care of. He has provided excellent after care, seeing me nearly every month after the surgery and following up with my after care. My vision is now 20/15. I do not need reading glasses at all.I am an IT consultant, so I use laptops constantly. My eyes are used contantly, so they get tired sometimes. I am also in my late 50s. I still use the reading glasses when my eyes get tired, but it is so freeing to not NEED them. It opens up so many doors.Dr. Brooker is the BEST of the BEST. His staff is also great. I would recommend him to anyone that wants to improve their vision.
Best in Las Vegas
They were quick to get me in on last minute notice. Thank you guys.
The best eye doctor in the area! I’ve been to two others, one in North Las Vegas and another in Summerlin. I’m glad I found this place, I just seem to like it better.
