So, I am from Hawai’i been off the islands for many years but the Aloha Spirit that I grew up with is still an important part of my lifestyle.The warmth and Aloha at Mallinger Family Eye Care is by far the best OF ANY professional/medical service I have had the need of and this is from a guy who just had bypass surgery.The courtesy shown to me, the time spent and the attention to detail was amazing. Staff, well actually they should be called family of Dr. Mallinger is great and they move with a coordination that will impress anyone. You will not leave Dr. Mallinger with questions or concerns, you will leave with comfort and relief knowing you were treated by the best!Dr. Mallinger and her family (staff) are great. I have been a patient of Dr. Mallinger and Dr. Arcemont since roughly 2003. The doctors and the staff are extremely polite and helpful. I love that they are keeping up with modern medical technology to increase patient comfortability with eye care and the thoroughness the doctors provide. I highly recommend and dont intend on switching any time soon.

Best eye practice I have ever been! The front desk people were attentive. The exams were done with great costumer service. Mark was great at explaning my frames coverage and finding good quality frames within my price range. Dr. Arcemont had excellent bedside manners and explained procedures and results with care.

This was the first time I have ever been, let alone heard of Mallinger Family Eye care and let me tell you I love this place. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, the place was immaculate with its decor and it’s selection of product. The staff was very courteous and very informative about what they were doing and what it does (talking about the eye gadgets you have to do whenever you go to the eye doctor). Dr.Mallinger herself was just a doll! She was so fun and bubbly that it made the rest of my day better. She is also a great optometrist, I would definitely come back sometime in the near future. 😊

I come from North Carolina where we are known to be nice warm polite people. The staff at Mallinger Family Eye Care, were like walking into the warmth of people back home. Each person I was in contact with stood out individually in knowledge, kindness and seeing things as in my best interest. The Dr. I saw,Julie, I absolutely loved. She was on it, which I love in any professional. She saw a problem and immediatly made not only a referral to a specialist, but made the appointment on the spot, plus explaining the situation in detail to me. I would absolutely recommend this practice to anyone.

Lovely office, lovely people. And they have ALL the eye-diagnosing toys. They took tests and measurements and pictures of things that I wasnt even aware existed. Theyre thorough, friendly, and explain everything to you. My takeaway after my appointment: I have wonky eyes. They dont focus the way theyre supposed to, in fact they do the exact opposite of what theyre supposed to do, and this causes motion sickness. There are glasses for that. Who knew? They knew. In short, theyre the best and Im not going anywhere else ever again.

This is my first visit to Mallinger Family Eye Care. The store is spotless. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and take their time to explain the procedures and tests. I especially appreciate that I can reuse my frames that I LOVE and they will cut the lenses in store once they receive them!I am very satisfied!

I have been going here for years. I drive across town for my appointments and I always have a great time while there. Everyone is professional but friendly. Makes you feel like your part of the group not just a patient. I have recently switched insurance and made sure that this group was in the provider list when choosing the new provider.

I have gone to Dr. Mellinger for years and she is simply the best. She takes care of each patient as though they were part of her family. Her staff is polite and knowledgeable and you never have to wait.

This place is a racket. They charge $516 for lenses. They charge as much with insurance, as other places do without insurance. Stay away from this place!
