Extremely knowledgeable staff, great selection and layout. I didnt get to go into the vault but if Im back in Vegas, definitely will be coming back. I was able to fill in some collection gaps and check some new stuff. Highly recommended as a destination stop for comics fans!

Very clean and organized store. Vault had some amazing comics to look at. Fantastic collection of statues that we retail or below. Comics on the other hand were somewhat overpriced in my opinion. Good staff!

Possibly the best comic store in the country, they really show their passion and deliver to their clients, from top tier clients to new comic fans. Highly suggest their vip membership, as they get some of the best artists to come do signings. Check out the gotham vault!

Great place to find Hot Toys at Sideshow retail pricing! On occasion you do find trade-ins that tend to rival secondary market pricing, eBay, etc.

First let me say, I love your store. I have wanted to go in the vault since Ive found out about your store. I have tried to get there a couple of times when I was in town. I was finally able to get there today and was met with major disappointment!! All of the vault books were in New York at the NYCC. I spent $55 bucks in an Uber to get there and another $55 for the depressed ride back. I understand from the business side but it would be nice if there was some way to know the vault is closed. I want to thank the short blond girl, lol ( I think her name is Haley) for great customer service. Maybe one day Ill get back there to see the vault but I guess Ill call ahead next time.....

Actually giving four stars because it is an awesome place, but extremely disappointed that there aren’t more souvenirs. I came to Vegas,from Aberdeen, WA and my main goal(besides the obvious)was to get T-shirts from your store. Maybe you don’t realize your a destination spot for us nerd tourists. Hopefully you get some more stuff in the future, for people excited to say they’ve been to your store.🍻✌🏻

This place is pretty big, compared to the other large comic places in town, the decorations and displays are by far the best. They have a large selection of current and back issues, unfortunately with such a nice place the overhead must be higher and therefore some of the back issues are super expensive, anywhere from 10 to 25 bucks and the highly sought after items can be higher. Granted I understand the business model and dont hold it against them. Just bring your savings account because you will spend it there happily. The staff I have encountered have been friendly, have not had to out their knowledge to the test, I am fairly new to comics though. They have many Omnibooks and figurines to choose from. Make it a point to visit this place if youre into comics, but this couldnt be my go to neighborhood comic store, just doesnt feel cozy.

Came here for my first time today and was definitely NOT expecting to find what I was looking for and then some! First of all, the art, decor, and memorabilia are amazing!! Super cool to say the least and unexpected from the usual comic book store type setting. The staff is VERY knowledgeable on all things comics and characters, which is mega helpful when searching for a specific character and time frame. Also, very clean, neat, and well organized for even first time buyers to search and find on their own. Last but not least, they have very affordable pricing on many items. Plus, highly collectible items with hefty price tags for those searching for rare stuff. I ended up finding exactly what I was looking for and will definitely be back for more comic book fun in the future!

With the celebrity status of its owner, the cool figures and store layout, with damn near every comic or graphic novel you could think of, this place is the best Comic shop in LA Vegas.

Bought a 100 mystery box and got totally ripped off. I know theres a slim chance to hit the grand prize, however the ad said you would get at least your money worth in comics. Totally untrue I maybe got 35 dollars worth, and all of there price tags on each comic is total BS they had a 40 price on a 3 dollar book I just find this very insulting to customers. So in case anyone is curious about their mystery boxes dont waste your money.

Comic book nerd happy place, a little bit of every genre are represented

With all the hype around social media I had to check this place out. Well organized, many back key issues and you are able to see the vault of all the expensive comic books. Coming from the Bay Area and being close to A1/Heros Comics, I was expecting Torpdo comics to be up there with A1/Heros. Have not just comics but trading card, funkos, and anime statues. But they did not. Torpedo comics is a average comic book shop with expensive statues.

Best place for comics in Las Vegas! Awesome and knowledgable staff. If youre into comics and everything else that comes with it, you need to go here. Simple as that.

I’ve gone there three times every time the staff is rude. There are snobby and not helpful. Every time you ask questions they give you an attitude. The shop is not for people who are just starting getting into comics.

I’ve been here multiple times and every one has been an amazing experience. All the employees are super knowledgeable and friendly. And to the people hating on the place because of Johns political views, get a life. Most of you have probably never even been there before.

Im updating my review due to recent events that have left me no choice but to cancel my pull-list and cancel any business with Torpedo.My pull list did not have many items 3-4 items (comic titles to be pulled and set aside so once a month you come by, pay for and read. The idea is that you dont miss any issues on your list).Twice in a row one of the books I requested on my list was skipped, so I had to accept either a 2nd print of the same book, to which in some respect is undesirable.The following pickup a few weeks later I inspected my pickup because I felt the previous pickup books seemed to have a bit of creases, I thought it may have been a fluke but upon inspection these copies also had what appeared to be creases in the front cover as if they were the very bottom of the box when they received the shipment. Odd because I have been collecting comics for well over a decade and cant remember aside from a few issues arriving damaged and were set aside, they hardly ever arrive in a quality usually never less than a 9 (10 being absolutely perfect) but these could easily be an 8.Anyways, I was told there are still copies on the wall and there I could find copies that may appear better, so I made my way and found not only better looking copies but I also found again copies of a comic book on my list that, had not been set aside.So before I made any assumptions I asked is this title included in my list and yes was the answer to which the rep realised I was asking because it was not even included in my list for pickup (2nd time, same book series)The guy I suppose apologized (half-hearted) and then at that point I said its OK, Ill be out of your hair anyway, please cancel my pull list.I got charged for my comics and I went home.Now mind you for having a pull-list, each comic receives I believe 15% off cover price.Did I get such discount? No I did not. Clearly I was expecting the comics I had requested but were not set aside should STILL have received the discount but I suppose since I did not any longer want to do business with Torpedo, I guess they decided NOT to give me the discount.Its not even that Im starving for the discount, I could really care less, I want my comics in good faith and condition to be set aside so I dont have to fight crowds or be there the day of their release.Its the principal of the matter of it all, I felt unappreciated as a patron and much less no empathy was shown at the very least to what twice now was a company oversight the 1st time, but twice in a row is a trend.I was to say the least, disappointed.

I love this comic shop. This is what comic shops were like when I was a kid, full of comics! They have a ton of back issues and pull boxes for people wanting the latest comics. There is one wall full of older gold, silver and bronze age comics. This place is made for any kind of comic enthusiast from the casual reader to the hardcore collector. The other thing I love about this place is they are very good about bringing in comic creators for signing events. They have had some BIG names in the store in the past and try to do them about once a month. What a great perk for a local comic shop! I think what really sets Torpedo apart though are the people. Everyone who works here is so nice and seem to really care. I highly recommend giving Torpedo a try if youre looking for a comic shop in Vegas.

I was looking for a new comic shop to go to since the one I used to go to moved. This place is very organized, clean, and Robert is helpful. Fantastic selection of comics from various price ranges. So glad I came across this place! I highly recommend it!

They have an AMAZING collection of comics. And the workers are very knowledgeable about what they have in store. They also sell figurines, both big and small(ish). They also have some old school comics, though theyre quite pricey, its definitely worth it if youre a collector. They also sell graphic boxes where you can store your comics, its awesome!!

Since we moved to Vegas we werent sure where to get our pull list started again. This place is great, huge selection, fantastic staff, events, and collectibles besides comics. Love it here, so glad we found a new comic store HQ.

Such a fantastic comic book store. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming even for the novice comic book reader. My 10 year old son and I had an amazing afternoon there-the staff was courteous enough to talk to my son about his favorite characters on an educational way. They have everything from 1st edition Superman’s to the newest editions of modern favorites.

Horrible customer service, first visit nobody greeted us or asked if we needed help. Second visit, same thing happened, this time there was communication but only when we asked to go into the vault. Customer service is a key factor- it can lose you a big sale, even for nice looking stores inside and out.

Great vibe, great staff, great selection. Huge floor to browse and much to enjoy, including some amazung, valuable classics on display. Biggest downside is no real bargain selection, comics you could find in dollar bins elsewhere are mixed in on the main floor for $4-5 bucks. Know what you want and what its worth and this place is excellent!

We stopped here from out of town because my husband loves to collect his comic books. Sooooo many comics to look through... so much variety and so many collectables to offer. Loved the Gotham Vault. Very friendly staff. If we lived closer, wed stop by over and over again. Very nice.

Wow! This is what a comic shop should look like! Pristine, organized, and so many rare finds (comics, covers, and original art work). Just amazing!

It was very well organized and clean. It smelled like comics in there. The only complaint I have is that they didnt have much in image comics and they didnt sell any posters.

Great place and lots of amazing stuff! The Staff and owner are very friendly. The owner works with the pricing of their cgc graded comics making sure that you are happy and getting a reasonable price. They value the customers here more than profit. Will always come here.

They will have what you need. They have a lot of events and signings. Their prices are high, so I would check other stores and use them as a last resort. Also, if you are going to buy and browse do not go on a day of an event. they will have most of the store blocked off. The staff was not very helpful, most of them were on their phones and where not interested in helping with question. Out of the 7 staff members in the store at the time, only one came up to greet us in the hour and a half we were there.

Love the shop! Friendly and helpful staff! They host a lot of artist signings through the year! The shop is filled with memorabilia including a gigantic AT-AT that is animatronic!

Worst comic book store in Las Vegas, if you have children please do not take your kids there to be ridiculed and disrespected. The clerk was very rude every time my kid picked up a comic book to spend his hard earned allowance on the clerk keep eye balling him and told him not to bend books jeez he picked it up, didnt bend or open.. Sad part is Ive been there 3 times this week with no problem. Dont waste your time or your childs feelings.. Just plain horrible..

Starbucks is successful because of good customer service. It is obvious from the extremely rude service of Torpedo Comics that they could care less about establishing repeat buyers. Avoid.

Dissapointing that there are NO $1 bin comics selection. Overall they have lots of great comics available if you like buying the expensive collectibles comics. Call first and ask for a price quote if your looking for something otherwise dont waste your time going there.

The workers here seem to be very prejudice. When my friend and I first walked through the door, they kept eye balling us whenever wed open up a book off the shelves to preview. Also the books here are pricey, last time I came here I got a Punisher book for $12 but then realized it was actually $6 but with a $12 price tag on the plastic protective covers.Overall would not recommend coming here because :1) They sell overpriced comics2) They are prejudice3) They make it seem as of its the end of the world when you preview a bookNo one :Not a single soul :Not even a carbon based organism :Shop Clerk : OmG aRe YoU pReViEwInG a BoOk? Store has gone to hell. From one of the best in the city to one of the worst. Completely money hungry, doesnt care about customers, and some rude staff.

Good place at southwest to find your favorite comics. Organized in alphabetic order so its easy to find you are looking for, or you can ask to the staff who give you good service.

So...I went to Vegas 3 months ago and this place is Heaven!...it’s like a museum!!.....this is definitely a place to go if you’re a big comic book fan like myself if you’re around Vegas....I may have to make a mother trip here someday...I live in Florida so it’s not going to be awhile!
