I am a regular here and they know and prepare my order as I walk in. Staff is super friendly. This place is fantastic, one of the best coffee shops in Las Vegas. The place is very clean and a fun atmosphere to sit and enjoy your coffee or even meet up with a friend. Service is very quick, you can even call in ahead. The point system is very nice and I have been awarded several free coffees. I really enjoy the ice Walter white. They roast the coffee beans in store daily and if you are lucky, you can watch them in action and smell the delicious aroma. They offer beans from all over the world and you can even buy beans to go. Highly recommended

Excellent freshly roasted whole bean and ground coffee, sourced from all the best equatorial coffee regions. Creative delicious signature drinks with a breaking bad theme, with the best prices on high quality beans in the city, as compared to the steeper prices of the Arts District beans. I buy 3 pounds a month and have never been disappointed by freshness. Of the 4 places that I know of that a roast and sell whole beans as their bread and butter, this place is #1.

Really nice, small, and cozy place displaying coffee bags from all over the world as decor. They have a nice selection of origin coffee. They also have a section dedicated to Breaking Bad. It was interesting reading all the coffee quotes on the wall. Oh! They also have a good selection of oldies such as Bobby Vinton, Frank Sinatra, that type of genre music! It’s been a while since I’ve listened to good music! Although they don’t have any vegan pastries, I did enjoy the coffee, espresso, speciality coffee, and iced-blended options offered. The sign says “coffee roasters” by the way, not Dessert Winds in case you are looking for the sign. It’s behind the gas station in the plaza.

Unfortunately, the staff was extremely rude. It was my first time attempting to go inside and it will be the last. I was shouted at upon entry me for not having my mask on. I told them I didnt have one and asked if they had a disposable one for me and he said no, only to buy for $10 and then flicked his hand for me to leave. I was hoping to support a local business, but they will not get my business.

I love this place, the coffee is really good and they have a variety of drinks. My favorite has always been the Walter white. They sell amazing bread too. My only complaint is that very often it upsets my stomach, even when I substitute milk for oat milk, it might just be that the acidity in their coffee is higher than other places; but im not detracting that from the rating becasue out of all the people I know who go here Im the only one with this issue

We came in around 1230 and it was busy. The menu has a large selection of drinks to choose from and pricing is similar to like a Starbucks. I dont know if theyre the best cafe in the USA, but there cant be a coffeehouse out there significantly better than this. Counter staff was extremely friendly and seemed really happy to see someone from our of town drive out to the shop for coffee. For a roaster, I was expecting a bit more. While the coffee excelled in caffeine content, it fell quite behind in flavor.I had an americano. However, this roaster is oddly known for its mixed coffee drinks; namely, the Walter White (a concoction of double espresso, chocolate syrup, and half & half). Maybe I tried the wrong drink. The coffee, without all the sugar and cream that the Walter White has, had a poorly roasted flavor. It tasted a bit too darkly roasted and held a bitter, almost soapy, flavor similar to what I’ve experienced with Seattle’s Best. Maybe I was expecting too much out of the bean quality but, for me, a good americano envelopes it’s own smooth, almost milky, flavor and texture. The coffee was a bit too harsh for me to give this place another try. That said, it was cheap and definitely caffeinated me. If that’s what you’re seeking, I think it’s probably just as good as Starbucks but you get to support a local small business. If you’re seeking artisan roasted coffee, look elsewhere.Edit: The next day I went to Avery’s Coffee down the road and experienced a much better americano. Again, I drink my coffee black with no additions.

Not a bad coffee spot. I wish their coffee per pound and half pound was a bit more affordable for what it is. or that they would date when the coffee was roasted, rather than the generic, everything is roasted today. Im sure theyre not throwing preroasted coffee away at the end of the day, so the lack of dates on bags leaves me wondering how old the beans really are. ristretto was ok, not quite a great shot, but def much better than other local coffee spots including the chains that are popping up everywhere in the valley. the beans ground and pulled at home make a very nice ristretto and if the cost wasnt so high, id be restocking my weekly beans here. but instead i just grab a half pound occasionally to support local

One of my favorite coffee shops. Even though it is called Desert Wind, the sign above the store says simply Coffee Roaster and that is what they are. Coffee: This is great for both serious coffee drinkers and people who want sugar with a side of cream and a dash of coffee. The black coffee selection is fantastic and is always revolving.
