Had neutral safety switch replaced as well transmission shift gears adjusted on an older Nissan Xterra. I highly recommend them, especially Scott. Went for an engine diagnosis. Spoke to Scott who was super friendly and helpful. Got a very reasonable quote and was in and out in no time. Its very hard to find a good mechanic but we were lucky to find a great one. Will definitely be back for our other cars (well hopefully not too much, no one wants frequent car problems right).

My family and I drove from San Antonio TX and our transmission went out and we were stranded in Kingman AZ. We called Friday and spoke to Mr Harvey who gave us as much help as he could over the phone. We called Monday when the shop opened and he remembered us and said bring it in ASAP. We’ve been coming here for years. We had my son’s whole transmission done there on his Subaru and his transmission fell apart only barely reaching 25k miles. Kyle said these transmissions were “bulletproof”. We brought back in and Kyle took a look at it and asked me if he can put it in 2 wheel drive, it’s an all wheel drive car and not sure why he would ask that. Now the car is up for smog and the transmission codes are there, now I’ll have to find a realTransmission shop to fix this. By the way, before that we have had fabulous service with our other vehicles until this nightmare occurred.

I think the mechanic fixes one thing and mess up something else so you can bring your car back .... I have the same problems with both of my cars I took here they fix my ac but now my wiring is causing my engine light to come on & other car they fixed my power steering but loosen my oil pan boths so my transmission can fail 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Quality work, amazing customer service, very fair, and (most importantly) completely honest. I will ONLY take my vehicles to this exact shop. Ive been a customer since 2007, and never have had anything less than a wonderful experience. They will always call you BEFORE doing work, discuss your options, explain the urgency and why. The estimates I have gotten from either Scott or Kyle have always been very close to actual price. In terms of more expensive repairs, 1 quote was dead on. This particular AAMCO came highly recommended by the Jeep community I am involved with I posted the question about recommended transmission shops and 8 to 10 people recommended this particular AAMCO. Dropped it off for transmission service they called me back stating that the transmission was fine and that they had found 2 other small problems that was causing the shifting issue and fixed it. I highly recommend this place they are an honest shop and we all know there are very few of those in Las Vegas. Took my van in for transmission issues and was handled with absolute honesty and integrity. Repair ended up being even cheaper than quoted and wasnt given the typical chain mechanic spiel trying to get me to spend more money on things that dont need fixing. This is very rare for me to go out of my way to write a review but I had to make an exception for this AAMCO at 3015 S Valley View. The service has been top notch. This family owned and operated establishment really cares about providing good honest service. They care about maintaining long lasting relationships and not just the immediate monetary gains. Ive made many referrals and my friends have been more than please. I recommend an appointment as theyre pretty busy because of the high ratings. Trust me itll be worth the while.

My daughters transmission went out, 1500 miles from home. After checking around and talking with Scott Harvey, I had it towed to their shop. Their prices were competitive and the warranty fantastic. Fast, professional work. Delivered on time, and to the quoted price. I flew out and (nervously) drove the car back to Ohio a week later. Its been a couple of months now, and the car has not had a problem since. I highly recommend anyone who is having car troubles, to use these guys!!!

I rarely write reviews, but the service I received here was awesome! I had my transmission rebuilt for $1,800, and my car has been running awesome for 6 months now. A lot of mechanics seemed to just want to replace it with a brand new transmission for $3,000, or find me a used one. I am not from Las Vegas, but I just happened to be traveling at the time, and you just cant beat the prices for most things in Vegas. Its very refreshing to find someone who wants to actually save you money, and still do a top notch job. They even finished a day early, If you live in AZ, CA, or UT, and live close enough, it may be cheaper for you to come here (for something major like a transmission at least). I got a hotel room at Super 8 from Sunday - Thursday; 5 nights for $200 total (be sure to come during the week since the weekend rates are actually quite higher). You could easily just sit back, and enjoy a vacation while you wait for the repairs. Talk to Scott. He was extremely nice, and very professional. He will get you taken care of!!

I never write reviews, however, I felt compelled to write a review in this case. This company deserves an A+ for their service, quality of workmanship & customer care. I took my diesel Ford Excursion to Scott as the transmission was slipping. They diagnosed it & found it needed a full rebuild (I did have it diagnosed by a Ford dealer & theyd told me the same thing). He gave me a very fair price (1/2 what Ford quoted) & finished the job by the scheduled date. The transmission now has 5000 miles on it since it was rebuilt & is working great. So refreshing to find a company that provides quality, friendly service. Theyve earned my business. Thanks, guys!

An honest mechanic is hard to find. A good mechanic is hard to find. A fairly priced mechanic is hard to find. To find a place that has all three was a huge silver lining when my car needed work. They charged me a fair price and were very upfront when they quoted me. They didnt take longer than quoted and the work they did has held up well. I cant praise them enough, highly recommend!

I will Start By Saying Kyle and The Owner Scott are great to deal with. They were very patient with me as i had to wait to get paid for them to fix my truck. My transmission on my 08 F150 went out and they put a Reman-Trans into it. it only took them 3 days from the time they ordered it installing it and i was kept informed on the entire process. that is a big deal! i worked at a few dealerships and they gave me a great price, i had called around and they were by far the best!! The work their guys performed was great as well. i even had to take it back due to a solenoid o-ring that wasnt sealing properly from the factory and it took them no time at all to diagnosis it and fix it. This shop is by far the best in town when it comes to Transmission work and i trust them. as a mechanic myself that is hard to say!

Honest as the day is long! My mothers car stopped shifting while she was out grocery shopping. AAA towed the car to the nearest mechanic who told her the transmission was shot and it would cost $3,500 for a new one. Not a bad price, but talking with the guys my spidey senses told me something was up. Since I am 500 miles away from Mom, there didnt seem to be much I could do. On a chance, I called up the local AAMCO shop. I know and trust my local AAMCO shop and know they specialize in Transmissions and offer Nationwide warranties.Scott was extremely helpful and offered to have Moms car towed to his shop for a second opinion. BEST PHONE CALL EVER.Moms transmission was leaking transmission fluid and two quarts low on fluid. New seals and New fluid and the car is good to go. Honest mechanics are hard to find. This is now the only shop Mom will take her car from now on. Thanks to the entire polite professional staff. Saved me THOUSANDS!

Took my Jeep in for shift issues with my automatic transmission. I met with Scott and took my car for a quick test drive to show him what the issue was. When we returned he had one of his mechanics make a minor adjustment and the transmission shifted perfectly! He said no charge and I provided a small tip to the mechanic who made the adjustment. It would have been easy with 160k± miles for them to suggest at least a full service or more but the fact and willingness to do a quick adjustment and send me on the way has earned them a customer for life.Well done guys! I rarely write reviews but I absolutely have to recommend this team. I was told about them by a mechanic from another shop - so already I knew it was legit. They are genuine, honest, and very upfront about everything unlike so many places in Vegas.They gave me an extremely reasonable quote, fixed it quickly, then came out with a lower price at the end. What mechanic actually beats their own quote instead of overselling you? I walked out the door paying a fraction of what other shops wanted just to do the diagnosis and before actually fixing anything.I went into fixing my car with a real sense of dread because I was expecting to just have my bank account cleaned out. This was such a nice treat to get a real honest mechanic and price that it really made my day. Wouldnt ever go anywhere else for a transmission.

My pickup truck had a bad coolant leak. Towed it to this shop because of past repairs that were very good. The next morning Scott called me, told me the problems with it. Gave me a fair estimate for parts and labor. Fixed quickly (a bit less that estimated) and Im back on the road again. Service and Labor rates are good here. FYI, they do all types of repairs not only on transmissions. I would recommend you consider them for your next repair.

HiThis AMMCO on valley view is very good place to do business!Scott and Kyle are very honest and knowledgeable about every make of car. I would recommend them to my family. The prices are better than dealer.The employees, staff, owners are very friendly and seem to diagnose car problems quickly and at no charge.I will be using them from now on to service my car.Only con was the office area, waiting area, and chairs could use a spring cleaning but I say that about most businesses since I own a cleaning company!

We have been going to Aamco Transmissions for many many years. They give us excellent service and are able to fix problems on our car very quickly. Even though we moved to Henderson we still drive across town to the Aamco on Valley View because they are the best.

I had the unfortunate experience of having my ford expeditions transmission start to fail just outside of Primm while my family, two dogs and a 6x12 u-haul trailer were being transported on our way to Utah. After reading both the yelp and google reviews, I decided to attempt to nurse it along to this AAMCO and was extremely happy I did. The service is excellent, and they even stored my trailer behind locked fences while doing a complete transmission rebuild. Their pricing was very competitive and they could have easily taken advantage of my situation and didnt. I really appreciated the friendliness and honestly of the mechanics and the family the runs this place are some good people. Initially, I wasnt sure if the google reviews were real or manufactured because they were so positive for an AAMCO location but after having my transmission rebuilt here, I understand why and can personally vouch of the excellence of this location. If I ever find myself in the need of any car work while driving through Las Vegas again, this will be the place I go to without hesitation.

On a road trip to California I had some mechanical issues coming through Las Vegas I found the closest Aamco Transmission shop to where I had broke down and after giving them my truck paying them they didnt fix the issue so I broke down again in rush hour traffic I called and found Scott and his business I limped my truck to them and his wife offered to give me a ride to a hotel and within an hour Scott was able to diagnose what was wrong with my truck fix it and the next day I was back on the road they have done an absolutely amazing job I would highly recommend this this company

My name is Jaime Garza. This Aamco replaced some transmission hoses on one of my trucks late last year. Their work was great and the prices were very reasonable. I made the mistake of taking the same truck to another mechanic to replace a water pump. This mechanic made some mistakes that caused the hoses that AAMCO replaced last year to rupture. I had the truck taken back to Scott, the owner and replaced the hoses at no charge!!! I was amazed at the service, integrity and efficiency. I wont use anybody else in Las Vegas.

I have lived in Las Vegas for 27 years and thought I would never find a reputable auto repair shop here. That was until I needed to have a transmission repair on my Dodge Durango. I met with the owner, and I was highly impressed! They did an excellent job and even quicker than promised at a very reasonable price. These guys are tops in my book for honest service. If you need transmission work, I definitely recommend you call these guys first and last. Another shop insisted (over the phone) I needed to have the transmission replaced because of the error code, which was only a bad sensor. No need to shop around after you talk to this shop. I can practically guarantee it!

Ive had some awful experiences with dishonest auto shops in Las Vegas but since Ive met Kyle, Scott, and Pam, I refuse to get any sort of auto work from anyone else. WOW! Is all I can say. The clutch went in my Mustang and I limped in. They knew it was my only car and helped me right away. I am a Realtor and need my car. The problem was getting the right clutch wasnt as easy as it sounds as it needs a better than stock clutch. The first two the suppliers sent in were wrong. Scott helped me get a deal on a rental car and finally when the right clutch could arrive from out of town they got it in right away. They were just awesome.As an aside, this is a family owned business and the place is super clean and as they proved to me, they care! Take your transmission issues there anytime!!! Perfect customer service, I went in for transmission replacement. Of course it was few thousand dollars but it was a certified Hyundai transmission under a three year warranty. A few months later I had a transmission leak on the CV axle seal and it was covered under there one year service warranty. So It was a no charge for me. It been a year now and I havent had any problems since the repair. It is hard to find a trusted shop but there honest. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you AAMCO Transmissions!

These people are always honest. Ive taken all three of my cars there. The first one I needed a new transmission. They had to have it shipped from out of town and when they got it, they called to inform me that the one they received was pretty much junk, so they got another one from somewhere else, no costs to me of course. When it arrived they put it in and even let me leave my car there while I paid it off over two weeks at no extra cost. I took another one of my cars there to have the transmission serviced and they pretty much told me, that it wasnt worth it. I was better off letting the tranny run its course. The engine actually ended up giving out before my tranny did. Ive now taken my third vehicle there to get diagnosed for some weird noises I was hearing. They checked it out, told me it isnt as bad as it sounded and gave me a very reasonable estimate to get it done, but also insisted that it was not a necessary fix. These people are always honest and after hearing others horror stories from other shops Im glad that I have found one I can trust. Diagnostics have always been free and they are always reasonably priced!

I was ready to hand over money for a remanufactured transmission as I was convinced mine was bad due to its behavior and mileage. Instead, simply changing my spark plugs resolved my trucks issue which saved me a lot of cash! Love their ethic.
