Wow! For as many books as they have, its organized. The gals that were there today were helpful and friendly. Welcomed me when I walked in. They were so busy but still attentive. Awesome bookstore - clean too! Thank you. Ill be back!

This is one of the very best used bookstores Ive been to. They have a great credit program and an excellent selection of books kept fresh by customers from the university and local community. I have to stop in every time I visit LC...and make sure to have extra space in my luggage for my finds!

Shared #1 favorite spots in Las Cruces with Zia Comics. Love the credit system. Staff is great. Nothing I can complain about at all. God bless the founder may he rest in peace, condolences to the family. I hope these stores stay around for the rest of my lifetime and beyond. i love that i have 2 spots i can check for my collection of manga and graphic novels!

I absolutely love Coas bookstore. Whenever I am in Las Cruces I have to be sure to go to one of their two locations. The locations are a bit different so you should check out both. They seem to specialize in different things. Honestly I could spend hours wandering around here and have. If you are local or go there a lot bring your unwanted books in to trade for store credit, then use the store credit for discounts toward other purchases.

For people who like used bookstores, this place is a dream. Its smaller than the other location. However, I left with a stack of books during my visit. I think because its smaller and frequented by more college students, the good books are less picked through. So you can find more gems here. The prices arent bad either. Good bookstores like this are hard to find in either bigger cities or smaller towns. This will be a regular stop for me.

Great selection of used books in both stores! Downtown store larger, but both worth the visit. I could spend hours looking through the stacks. They will give you credit on books turned in that is good toward your purchase. I highly recommend!

I have been to Coas multiple times .The book selection is good, and the prices are fair. The only gripe would be the lack of customer service you get from some employees. I’ve noticed some won’t say hi to specific people. But other than that they have comics, movies, and even board games . The trading credit has changed, and for the better. They also have a good kids book selection. Overall it’s a good place when good employees are present.

The staff are great, especially when I call looking for a book. Theyre helpful and courteous. They have a great selection and whenever I leave a request for a book they call me promptly when it comes in. Third prices are good and I love being able to trade in books.

This place is awesome! Loads of movies and books ranging all imaginable subjects. The personnel are extremely polite, knowledgeable, and efficient at both answering ones questions and in checking one out. Plus, they offer general credit for movies, games, CDs, and non-paperback books brought in, as well as paperback credit. One can easily spend hours browsing through the aisles.

I was browsing at the coas on solano today and the staff was really friendly. Not only that but they were really willing to help my find what I was looking for. Everyone is really nice and the manager is very approachable. You don’t always find that in stores nowadays. I loved it and will go there more from here on out. The customer service is amazing. I definitely recommend.

I love this place! I love the smell of books and this store has such a variety. From required reading to music, and all at a great price!

Has an incredible selection of books, movies and music. You can set up an account so you can drop of any of these items that you do not use, and if you do not have time or find something that interests you it is on credit so you can return at a later time. I have found many books that have been hard to find even with an online search. Staff is always friendly and when i have been unable to find the book I was looking for, they would watch for the book and give me a call when it would come in.

Decent enough pricing, (I did feel the need to haggle the price on one book), they have a great selection of books they offer. The store is well organized. Its not just books they offer but DVD, Blu Ray and even VHS. They have Vinyl records and CDs.

This is one of two locations for this local outlet. There are thousands of used books stocked in this store. Hard cover, paperback and DVDs are available. The staff is polite, but never has any employee been exceptionally welcoming to me.Coas has an interesting pricing method which I must note. If you find a book that you wish to purchase be sure to check the original cover price and divide that number by two. That is your pre-tax price. (I have no information pertaining to DVD/CD pricing or method[s].) Also, I must share an anecdote here that every should be aware of.I wanted Atlas Shrugged. Coas had this title- many copies of it from different printings. The prices were different depending on which printing I chose. Older printings are less expensive, as a rule, than more recent ones.Another point concerning purchases at Coas is their credit or trade policy. The exact mechanics are unknown to me; I havent participated in the policy; I have only word of mouth knowledge. Basically it involves one bringing in their books they wish and an account is set up wherein the account balance can be used against any purchases made up to the full dollar amount in ones account.Finally, random factors play a large part in ones book quest. I have found books I didnt have on that trips list and not found a title for which I did shop.
