Nice people here they donated comics to my wifes literary night for the middle school. They have good prices and plenty of comics.

Not organized...owner living in store...very sad

My family and I drove out to this shop 3 weeks ago from Casselberry Fl., about a 2.5 hour drive. Wed seen online that he needed some more business due to health issues and being the comic nerd I am, we really wanted to help. When we got there, the shop was closed. We went back to his page and pulled up his phone number asking him to come in so we could give him some business. He happily came with his wife and we are thrilled with the service and products we got.

Really nice mom and pop comic store. Has many many books to choose from. Theres a chance youll find what youre looking for. Owner is very nice and super informative. I live a bit away from this one but I tend to visit it often.

Pat and Ashley are very sweet and knowledgeable. Yes this is a small store with lots of character. The best places are always are in the small business owners category, and this shop is no exception. Ive read some of the other reviews and although the shop may be closed sometimes, it is not a reason not to try this store. Small businesses are what keep our economy going and this sweet couple are running an asset to the community.

Stopped by the store today at 12:30 after looking it up online. Lights were on but door was locked. Ran a couple errands, and came back 45 minutes later still closed. Yet posted hours said they should be open. This was a bummer as it looked like they had a nice selection. Won’t make that hour drive again.

A good store, with the worlds most knowledgeable owner. If you want to know something, ask him and be prepared for the response. My only complaints regard the size of the store and the products that are in the way. Small complaints, stop by and say hello. Pat and Ashley are always friendly and ready to help.

I was really happy when a comic shop opened much closer to home than the ones I had been frequenting. I like that they give a discount on all issues, period, no hoops to jump through. Just a straight discount on all issues just for walking in the door.Theyre very knowledgeable on upcoming comics and what you might be interested in. Also willing to order you issues they might not normally carry. I find it a very good experience.Sometimes the store opens late, yes, but but I have to point out that it is a mom & pop store with NO other employees. They are only human, and as such, unfortunately, health issues must be attended to. We must remember, I think, that we dont walk in their shoes and should understand that health issues, emergencies, and human error does happen.If you want a good shop, with good prices, check this place out. They work hard at running this business and in the end, theyre a great comic shop to come back to.

I have been an active comic collector for the past 4 years, and have yet since the first lucky couple of times catching them open during business hours to shop so I stopped going. Gentleman and wife are friendly and have a wide array of selection, but you have to move piles of books just to look for potential buys. If you catch them at the right time youre lucky but be prepared to spend half of your time just moving stuff around to shop. Best wishes to the shop and the owners though, I wish you success.

So...Im not sure how these people make money.I walk in and the store is the size of small bedroom. The area with the back issues has ZERO labels or sense of organization. Plus, its covered with merchandise that appears to need to be out away.The new issues are stacked around the border of the room, on top of each other. And again, with no sense of organization.The people working are both sitting behind the counter (invisible from the door), on their phones. I assume they were the owners, because I dont think a person with any self respect would work here.They barely acknowledge my presence, nor offer any input on the stores strange layout. I manage to walk around the room 4 times without so much as an are you looking for any in particular?. I stand for a second and look at both of them...No eye contact.On top of all that, the place felt filthy. I mean disgusting. I was scared to touch anything.I love visiting comic book stores when Im on the road. I like to see what they do that I like, and to avoid. This place was a categorical failure.

Best comic shop around. The owners are great people, always helpful, & can get you what you want. Highly recommend them!

***edit***I said in my review that he did not have Funko Pops or figurines. Apparently I was mistaken, and I just didnt see them. My bad, and I will always try to correct my reviews.The owner is super nice and very knowledgeable. I went in specifically for Spider-Man comics, and he was able to tell me all about the different story arcs and the ones he had. He had a lot of good variety, too. He is strictly comics though. Doesnt seem to have Funko Pops or figurines, T-shirts or hats, things like that. He had some movies in the back, but I didnt look at them.As for the Spider-Man comics, he had old and new, collections and singles, and he has that sort of thing for loafs pof other comics too.I highly recommend this guy and this shop.

Looking for a used Comics or old comics this is a good place to go its been around for a long time and Im you doing this be the better man than the last review I gave

First time in. Greeted by guy behind the desk. As I looked he got a phone call. Trying not to listen I looked through the bins and made a few selections. When I went to the counter still having the speaker phone conversation never acknowledged me standing there with comics in hand to check out. Got frustrated and put comics back where I got them from. Wont be back. Apparently they dont need my money or patriotism.

I like the sheer variety of comic books they carry. It is very interesting. You can flip through their back issues and find something wonderful.

Its a great place! Its still in the location as the pictures show. Amazing place!

A great local mom and pop comic shop and toy store, this store is the best, they have the best prices and a wonderful friendly staff, kids love this place and parents do too, they have something for everyone, it is a great comic book store, I love shopping at this place, this is a great place for families, parents and children, young adults, teenagers and seniors all like shopping here, they have all the best new comics every weeks, tons of graphic novels, the best toys and action figures, lots and lots of classic comic books from the 60s,70s,80s,90s and 2000s, they have all the best back issue comic books, go there today for Free Comic Day and get 3 of the best brand new comics from Marvel, DC, IDW, Archie Comics, Titan Comics, Yen Press and more, all absolutely free! This store has built a bond with the families in the Largo and Seminole area and they are the very best comic book store in the Largo and Clearwater area. They get 5 stars from me!

Pat and Ashley are amazingly friendly and pat is a comic/scyfy encyclopedia have been to Comic World several times and love it every time!!! It’s a mom and pop shop with a huge heart!!!!

2nd day this week I have gone to the store during business hours and the doors have been locked. The lights are on and the sign says OPEN, but no one is there. Not sure whats going on there....

Sorry but you cant take someones name and number for certain comics that are coming out, dont contact them to let them know you have those comics in store then call them months later telling them they have a bill total.. Not a good way to run a business.
