Good selection of booze, however the markup is like nothing I’ve ever experienced! Bottle of Buffalo Trace for $70, handle of Buffalo Trace for $130, ridiculous! When confronted the owners/management said they would be losing money if sold at a lesser price.

Every time I go to IRB I make a visit. They are sweet people who take pride in their store and products. Silly to say but shelves are aligned and stocked. Very clean and organized. Always have our specialty items and you never leave without a smile. Great prices!

This is a wonderful store to shop at. Tons of different alcohol that is normally hard to find. They have a massive wine selection to choose from. The staff is super nice and the store is very clean. I have been a regular customer of 688 for about 21 years now. I think its great I get a chance to tell people just how great they are. Everybody is always helpful in finding what you need. There cigar room is too die for, great selection. If your looking for a bottle of wine or a certain champagne chances are theyll have it. They also do special orders. They are a highly respected business with the liquor and tobacco industries who supply Southwest Central Florida. Before you start thinking, no Ive never worked there. Its just how close the people who work there make you feel, like one of the family. BTW, if you have a little woofer, they give out free treats. For the dogs guys, sorry 😝

Been buying wine and cigars here for years. Called st 9:55 on a weeknight understandably late and asked to wait 5 minutes to allow me to buy cigars and whiskey for my out of town guests. Was told too bad. We close at 10. Will never walk in there door again.

Thats the place to go when youre in vacation in Indian Rocks Beach. You just have to cross one of the bridges and then the store is right there. Large selection of liquor, beer, cigars, wine and soda! They even sell lemons and cigarettes for your drinks! Prices are reasonable, staff super friendly and easy going... Bought my ingredients for a gin tonic and turned out to be super delicious! Love this place!!!!

Ive shopped here for several years and hate to admit how much business Ive given them. A lack of good options in West Pinellas has benefited this place. Staff is hit or miss. One clerk is helpful and friendly. Prices on regular, everyday spirits are just slightly higher than average retail. But Ill never shop here again after my last visit. They had a $60 bottle of Staff Jr. Bourbon marked up to $299!!! A regular 750mil bottle of Buffalo Trace Bourbon, usually $24-$26, was marked up to $69.99!!! And a bottle of Midwinter Nights Dram Rye that I paid $96 for at Total Wine and More was marked up to $199!!! This is absolute greed and these owners should be banished of selling any allocated hard to find bottles. Dont support this business as they dont care about customers. Just customers money.

This place has such amazing potential.......excellent selection, great quality cigars, & such friendly people. However, the booze section of the store is air conditioned & the wine section is not......they have always been so good about refunding wines I have bought which are cooked but seems like a simple solution......great wines but need proper storage temperature.....

The wine selection here is impressive. If you want to pay for an expensive bottle, they got you covered. You want the tour de franzia, they got that too. Get drunk like me!!

I visited 688 looking for wine, cigars and scotch. I was helped tremendously by the knowledgeable staff. I could not believe the selection of wine in their wine room. The cigars were a huge hit and my husband said they were fresh and reasonably priced. I will definitely go back!

688 is THE place to go for beer, wine liquor, and cigars in the central Pinellas county area. The have a good selection of craft beers, as well as the old standards, and their wine cellar is the best in the area. A visit to their walk-in humidor will impress, and youll definitely find something to suit your tastes. Their staff are all quite knowledge, so dont hesitate to ask for advice on your purchases.

Horrible price gouging, what a joke. These guys are preying on people that dont know any better and they should be ashamed of themselves. I saw several whiskey bottles marked up over 200% of what you would pay at any other liquor store.

We wanted to buy a bottle of pinot noir for our friend but we didnt know anything about wine so we asked for a recommendation from the employee. Our friend said it was the best she ever had and asked where we got it. This place has a wide selection and will order something for you if you cant find it there.
