Urgent repair needed on short notice. My wife had and check engine light and fuel issue and needed service quickly as she was just passing through Largo for the weekend. Steve listened to my concerns over the phone and found the time to get our vehicle in to be serviced. He did exactly what I asked and even found another area of concern. Steve showed it to me using photos and text messages. With the help of Auto Dynamics, my wife was able to get our vehicle back home 8 hours away. I really appreciated the personal service I received from this company. I chose this repair facility strictly from google reviews. I made the right choice.

We are new in town and were experiencing some issues with are dash display not working properly and a few other issues popped up too and we brought our truck here on the recommendation from a local person. These guys were great! They kept us in the loop and checked in with Jason frequently regarding status of repair. It was an expensive job but pricing was fair based on our situation with module replacement as well as transmission problems. Would definitely recommend and will be back when needed 😃Thank you!!

Scott and Steve of Auto Dynamics earned my trust 4yrs ago when they said they had resources that could fabricate an AC line for my 95 240sx when that part had been discontinued. Since then they have performed front end suspension replacement and a leveling kit on my 04 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. Even referred me to a local garage for a performance tune to make the HEMI perform better prior to a 1800 mile road trip. Truck ran solid the entire route. Recently I have had them working on a 04 WJ resurrection and their employee Brian has done top of the line work!!! These guys are the gearheads you want to bring your business to. Dont go to some shade tree shop, get your business handled for a reasonable price and sleep sound knowing the quality of their work is beyond reproach. Just go see for yourself......words do not do their shop justice.

Scott and his mechanic took excellent care of us. In just at an hour from when we got there until we were paying and back on the road they replaced a belt. He took our Explorer right back and started working on it as soon as we got there. The staff were all very friendly and kind. This review is only to inform customers to shop around before making a commitment. I had called for an estimate and the gentleman I spoke with (I think his name is Steve) had great customer service skills. But thats not the issue, he gave me a quote for $350! I was able to get the job done elsewhere for $166. Im not sure what they charge for labor an hour, but this quote leaves me to believe that they charge an outrageous amount...Because the part I needed only cost around $120 and it should only take about an hour to maybe an hour and a half to get the job done (it only took an hour where I went). Look, Im not saying they dont do a good job, Ive never had them work on my vehicle. All I can say is I got the same job done elsewhere for almost $200 less. 🤷‍♀️

I recently drove in to Auto Dynamics to have a nail pulled from my tire, but wound up having to replace the whole thing. Steve and Scott were able to help me get a replacement tire quickly and I was back on the road. Before I left, they told me that the tire that was provided by the dealer was an older model and that I could come back to Auto Dynamics when it fit my schedule and theyd replace the tire with newer stock. I found Scott, Steve and the rest of the team to be honorable and trustworthy. Ill definitely be bringing my car here again for any service needs.

I had moved into the area in the early 80s and inquired with the local law enforcement where they take their personal cars for service. They recommended Steves place so that began our association. I would highly recommend this auto shop. I broke down on the side of the road at 3:30 in the afternoon on a Friday. The mechanic and owner, Steve, was able to give me an estimate and have Parts on site within minutes. By 5 my van was repaired and I was right back on the road. Below estimated cost online. I cannot recommend to this shop enough. Its very hard for a woman to find a very trustworthy mechanic who is not going to rake you over the coals. I called being new to the area. I saw the rave reviews so I figured Id see if they could help me out. I was in a bind. My driver side window stopped working and was stuck open. Steve was so helpful getting my car in right away and keeping me updated on the status of the part needed. It wasnt supposed to come in until Monday (this happened Friday morning) so I left my car with him over the weekend or so I thought. Steve made my day by calling me around 3pm on Friday to tell me my car was done. The part came in unexpectedly local and he made sure the job got done right away so I could have my car back before the weekend and pick up my fiance from the hospital. Outstanding customer service. Very fair prices. Steve even showed me the broken part and explained what happened. The funny thing is Im used to that kinda service. Back in Philly my mechanic for 35 years always did that too. Where do I being with Auto Dynamics. Honest and trustworthy is a great beginning. I have been dealing with Auto Dynamics since 1998. I heard about AD through a friend of mine and I have been coming here ever since and cant think of entrusting anyone else under the hood of my car. Not only do they do quality work, they are very good about fore warning me about letting me know of future issues or things to be aware of. Who does that anymore, NOBODY! Every quote I get when dropping off the car its usually within $20 to $30 lower or higher. I cant imagine taking my cars to anyone else that I trust fully. One day driving down the road my serpentine belt came loose due to a bad idler bearing failure. I was able to limp into AD and they were able to fix my car and get me back on the road within 45 minutes. I highly recommend AD to my friends and family. Not once have any of them complained about there service with Auto Dynamics.

I needed my brakes changed just on the drivers side and told them that was the only thing that I needed done to my vehicle. They kept trying to charge me a $100 fee just for looking at it which is absurd but luckily they ultimately did not charge me for it, but instead said that it would cost $450 just to change the brakes on the one side that I needed which is absolutely insane. I took it to another nearby mechanic and was charged $125 and they changed the brakes on BOTH sides... They were trying to rip me off here for over $300... I will never come back to this place again.Edit: There was NO appointment made, I specifically called to ask if they did brakes there and that was it, so I wasnt late for anything. On the phone they said they would check my vehicle for free, but when I got there they kept saying that there was a $100 fee to check the vehicle but in the end I was not charged as I said before, but yes, they did say that. There was also never talk of the calipers, both front hoses or the rear brakes. All they said, that it was $450 for the rotor and the pads on the one side ONLY. So that is a lie! As far as, That is not the type of repairs we do here, They didnt have any problem with charging me $450 to do this type of repair and there wasnt any talk about customer safety or jeopardizing the business as long as they got their money, they didnt care about any of that, so I have no idea what they are talking about and honestly, they are saying all of these things just to make the business look better for reviews because it did not go down like that and they know it.

The first thing that you look for in a shop is honesty, after returning the car 2 times, the price was way higher than we had talked about.... but by law the bill can exceed the estimate, which it did 2 times and my car was not fixed. The story I was told was not the truth, and I was made to feel that it was my fault for not spending unlimited amounts of money.The waiting room has no TV, coffee or Internet. I was also charged 25.00 for shop supplies, when I questioned the charge I was told if we use a shop rag I have to charge this amount...Find a shop that isnt only about the profit of course a shop has to make money but GREED is the problem here !-

Scott and Steve saved me so much potential wasted money on my old Prius. I bought a new/used car and took it here to have them inspect and boy were they thorough! I am so glad they mentioned they could inspect it for me because it could’ve been a potential money pit. I took the car back to the dealership with their printed list of suggested fixes and the dealership not only offered to fix everything on the list, but they also offered to replace with it with another vehicle if I so desired. This is my second visit to Auto Dynamics of Largo and I couldnt be happier. I moved to Largo three years ago and as a result of having decades of both good and bad experiences, I dreaded the task of having to look for a new mechanic. But, last year my 1998 Subaru started to screech and I knew the time had come. I had driven by Auto Dynamics many times and I liked the way the shop looked. It was always very clean and well organized. The time to check them out had come. Within minutes they knew exactly what the problem was and were able to Squeeze me in that day to fix it. All in all, a very pleasant experience. I found both Steve and Scott to be very personable and friendly. Problem fixed. Now, a year later at 194,848 miles, its time to replace my timing belt. I did some research online and so knew that Steves recomedations for all the additional preventative maintenance add-ons were spot on. I am extremely grateful to have found both Steve and Scott and the Auto Dynamics of Largo team. I plan to be here in Largo for a long time and I am quite relieved to now be able to relax and feel like I can completely trust them to take good care of both me and my car. I have no doubt at all that they will be there for me when I need help. I would give them a ten star review if I could, and Im sure you would too.
