Very nice shop! We stumbled upon it while in Lancaster and stopped in for coffee and cupcakes of course! Cupcakes are in fun flavors, were delicious and beautifully made. The shop has comfy seating and is bright and welcoming. The employees were friendly and pleasant. You can get a latte, hot or iced, which we did and they were both made well. Highly recommend!

Who knew that gluten free could be so good?! Its so nice to have an absolute gem in the city that offers multiple options that are GF for my kids that have dietary restrictions. For most people you cant even tell the difference. They are that good. You can even beat the rush and order in advance. The staff is kind and I love to support local.

My husband I went to Lancaster Cupcake on 9/25/21, and bought a half dozen cupcakes. I got the chocolate peanut butter, as well as the mud pie. Both were extraordinarily delicious, moist, and flavorful. We are always looking for a good cupcake, and this Lancaster Cupcake did not disappoint. Service was great, too!

Great variety in cupcake flavors even though the menu hasn’t been updated (some listed are no longer served). The coffee was incredible and there’s also a fun bunch of flavors there. The young lady at the window was super friendly and patient.

So good!! We had mini cupcakes for our wedding and we received so many compliments about the flavor and beauty of the cupcakes. everyone loved them! My now husband and I ordered a small cake for the two of us, and I doubt we will ever eat the whole cake, but my gosh it was delicious! Lancaster cupcake has become one of my favorite spots in all of Lancaster City, and honestly in all of PA! I’ve become so obsessed that it’s probably bordering on dangerous for my clothes. But a new wardrobe is welcome if it means I get to eat my way steadily through some of the best macarons I have ever had. They have so many flavors and they are all delicious and the perfect texture! I also absolutely love their drinks and gluten free cupcakes. And if the promise of amazing sweets isn’t enough, the ambience and charm of the bakery is like if Paris and NYC had a comfortable and stylish baby. I’d move right in if that was acceptable. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough and have yet to inhale something I didn’t like!

Lancaster Cupcake recently made a two tier cake for our wedding. Alexia, the wedding cake coordinator was very helpful and friendly. I asked them to decorate my cake with fresh flowers and the owners, Emily and Jeff personally placed each flowers to compliment wedding theme. Emily and Jeff provided their personal touch to the special.The cake was moist and delicious, as we had chocolate and strawberry champagne! I highly recommend Lancaster Cupcake for any occasion: birthday, anniversary, wedding, etc.

I ordered a dozen vegan cupcakes for my birthday, which were great! The only issue I had was that there was more icing on the cupcakes than there was actually cupcake. I had to remove the majority of the icing because there was so much.

Disappointed with Lancaster Cupcake online/ delivering service. Ordered a cake for delivery (10:30AM). Order said delivery would be between 1:20-2:20pm. 2:30pm came around still no delivery? Called into the store and was told the driver just got back from her round of deliveries, and my order was placed after she left, again the store doesnt open until 9am, I placed my order right around 10:30am. Why wasnt I informed that my order wouldnt be delivered by the time I was given. If I didnt call would it of showed up 5pm? who knows. They told me your given a 2 hour delivery window, but if the drivers out delivering its going to be hours past your expected time. Just kind of ruined the day, it was for a Gender Reveal/Baby shower lunch in at work...Luckily Giant was across the street to save the day.

YUMMY! For our friends 30th birthday we booked a little getaway to Lancaster (originally it was NOLA), we ordered take out from a bunch of small businesses and Lancaster Cupcake was one of them. I ordered their 2 dozen mini cupcake box and between three girls, we couldn’t get enough of them! My favorite was strawberry champagne... I dream of it now.. wondering if my husband would make a two hour drive to pick up cupcakes for me. 😋

Stopped in on a whim while visiting other shops downtown. I bought a half dozen cupcakes, and I’m pleased to share that they were delicious. Often, gourmet cupcakes focus more on appearance than taste. These cupcakes were both nicely decorated AND absolutely scrumptious. I highly recommend for a sweet treat, or even for parties.

I am weak for a cupcake anytime anyplace and this place meets my needs. Im very basically and love vanilla on vanilla so Vanilla Party is my go to. I do happen to love strawberry champagne as well. They also do a great job packaging any quantity you need from 1 cupcake to dozens. (Weve ordered 100s of customs for work events.)

I have quite a few allergies, and I was able to find, not just one, but MANY gluten-free, vegan options. I landed on Lemon Raspberry, and it was to die for. The people there were kind, and I would absolutely go back given the chance!

This place was Adorable! Bright & Pretty colors everywhere. The staff is so Friendly and Helpful. The cupcakes look Beautiful w/a variety of flavor combos even a few GF/Vegan options for those with eating restrictions like me. All 6 we purchased tasted Delicious! Boston Cream, Cannoli, White Chocolate Raspberey cheesecake, Chocolate Peanut butter, GF/Vegan Chocolate W/Vanilla frosting.

Aside from being the best cake in town, they offer a variety of ice cream, shakes, and they have GF options.

One of the best cupcakes Ive tasted--really! I have visit Lancaster Cupcakes each time I pass by on my way from my siblings place in Baltimore to my place in Akron, Ohio. Actually, its a pretty long detour to Lancaster Cupcakes :) and always work the extra time. One my first visit after I finished my first cupcake I had to get another--because when would I ever be back to visit?--and the employee offered me a cupcake from the back that had just been baked. That cupcake took me to another world, it was so good. Beware, these cupcakes may look small, but they are mighty! They are moist, flavorful, and delicious--a culinary masterpiece. I will be back again, and again, and again....

Good looking cupcake...but in my opinion not a whole lot of flavor...we purchased 2 different flavors...seems the icing was the only flavor difference...overall...good for a quick sweet fix...or a pricey party favor

The cupcake split was absolutely delicious! The workers were very friendly and helpful. They had their masks on and kept place clean. Even the bathroom and you dont see that often enough.

Disappointed. Went into an empty store w my son-freezing outside and one hour before close. Staff Had our cupcakes out and just needed to pay. Staff didn’t like my mask and wouldn’t check us out so we left. We could take our mask off and sit and eat, but couldn’t pay. 🤷‍♀️

Very nice ladies behind the counter. We happened to fall upon this place because my daughter needed a restroom, they were very understanding. We ended up buying a fruity pebbles cupcake, mud pie cupcake and salted caramel cupcake. They also have a pink van at dutch wonderland as well. The frosting is light and flavorful.i would recommend this place. My daughter review is the same 5 stars and friendly service.

Their cupcakes are delicious!! My favorite flavor is the coconut!! It reminds me of my childhood. They have a ton of flavors to choose from and their cakes are beautifully decorated!! I also must say that the customer service is STUPENDOUS!! They are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure your cupcake experience is a great one. We had the cupcakes at our wedding reception and just came back for round two. Creative cupcakes. The Dutch apple tastes like any apple crumb pie mixed with apple spice cake. My favorite is the strawberry champagne which has strawberry filling.

We live about 2 hours away and I would absolutely make that drive at least once a month or more 😁 for this special treat! My wife and I visited Kitchen Kettle Village and stopped at the Lancaster Cupcake truck there and tried a Chocolate Party and Strawberry Champagne cupcake and LOVED them. Super moist and delicious. They tasted freshly baked and where so good that we decided to get six more when we where done walking around. The gentleman in the truck was very nice and didnt charge us tax on the six cupcakes we got because we only had exactly $15, very generous of them. We havent been to this store yet but we cant wait to visit the next time were in Lancaster!!

So if you’re thinking about having a wedding in Lancaster, I highly encourage you to skip the expensive wedding cake and instead hire the Lancaster Cupcake truck. It was a huge hit! Our guests were blown away. First of all, it just looks cool to have a food truck at your wedding. And cupcakes are so much tastier than wedding cake. We did 4 flavors: the Peanut Butter Oreo Chocolate, Strawberry Champagne, Red Velvet, and Tiramisu. They were all awesome. And then they throw in a small wedding cake as part of the package, so you have something to do the cake cutting with. Lancaster Cupcake is the best!! Thank you!!

Amazing cupcakes! Bought 1 to eat there and bought 4 home haha. If your looking for a good gourmet cupcake place, this is where you go. Has just the right amount of icing, and if they have fillings then its a bonus. So worth the visit.

Walked across town with my two kids to get cupcakes on Thursday Jan 19. Got there 5 min late. There was still a costumer inside paying. As Im about to walk in, the employee runs to the door to lock and and yells were closing. Try explaing that to a two year old, who knew we were on our way to get his favorite sweet.

Unless your having a HUGE wedding, dont consider this place! They told me I had to buy over 120 cupcakes (which would reach the $300 minimum) !I only have 45 guests to attend our intimate wedding, but cant receive same treatment.

This place is fantastic. Ive never gotten a bad cupcake. Last night I got a margarita cupcake. Its so far second only to the strawberry champagne, which will never be beat.My only complaint is that occasionally Ill go in and their selection is off. I dont like chocolaty desserts, and the first time I came to this store they had no fruity selections. It was all chocolate and fudge and peanut butter, and then the plain ones. Im sorry, but no matter how good they are, I really dont want to pay three bucks for one plain cupcake.

I had previously held a high opinion of this establishment as the cupcakes themselves are delicious. but yesterday was my brothers wedding day and they had requested a month in advance for cupcakes to be delivered to the venue. after not only failing to delever on time we recieved no call or attempts at compensation despite having paid in full in advance. there was no dessert at the wedding and the venue was kind enough to find two pieces of cake for the bride and groom. disgraceful.

I frequent the orange street location, its right across from the garage and in a cute downtown area next to many shops and restaurantsThe selection is always insane. I personally order gluten free cupcakes, and I have never seen them run out! I was excited to find out that the vegan cupcakes are also gf(riendly). The fact that they dont cost more than the regular cupcakes is amazing, and welcome.The coffee is great, and I love the cupcake split! (Cupcake ice cream sundae!!!) I like to come and chill after work, and I take one home for breakfast. (Dont judge me)Theres a cute small play area for little kids, which keeps them busy while you talk to your friends. :D

Lets start with the pros! Great place! Amazing desserts, super fresh even though this is not were they are baked. Kid friendly with a little play section as well. Super fast service. A great team, friendly and professional staff. Will definitely come back when theres a local location. Oh I gave it 3 stars BC the bathroom was dirty, really dirty and the prices were outrageous and the cupcakes were just regular good cupcakes - u can get comparable or better tasting and three times the size(bigger)cupcakes in Philly, NJ And NYC for the same price. $3 per cupcake is just plain crazy - 1 dozen for $30 dollars! I mean who could afford that on a regular bases? Let just be glad theres sweet treat at Dunkin donuts :) for a fair price Or ur local supermarket bakery where u can get 12 cupcakes for less than 1/3 of that price - u just have to settle for vanilla or chocolate and maybe the occasional swril....
