I just have to share. Just today, I popped in after realizing L&B sells Birkenstocks. I was in the market for some sandals, but was planning on shopping around. This store has a pretty good ring selection. I like to use the excuse to shop here when buying gifts for friends. That way I can buy myself a million gifts as well in one stop. I suppose this means I’m also a friend of myself. One with great taste in gifts.

I’m honestly ashamed it’s taken this long to leave a Google review. This is my go to shop for note worthy gifts or just something fun for myself. Tina and her employees are always welcoming and helpful, no matter how busy they are. They support the community and worthwhile causes. During the time of Covid, they are consistently compliant with the CDC guidelines. The products are sourced from all over the world, and primarily hand made. There’s something for everyone at very fair prices. They have an awesome selection of clothes as well that are both unique and comfortable. Lastly, they have a jeweler who can help you design or fix jewelry. If you’re in Lakewood, make sure to stop by and I promise you won’t leave empty handed!

This store has so many beautiful, unique items, and, everything is displayed, very nicely.and it smells amazing. Very reasonable prices, as well. The staff is very attentive, and helpful, and friendly. Lots and lots of colorful decor, windchimes, candles, incense,they have it all. Definitely worth a visit, if you are in Lakewood. During the pandemic, they require patrons to wear a mask, in the store.

You will find lots of cool stuff here. Theyll gift wrap anything you buy and will place special orders for you.

Great jewelry and helpful workers

Lion and Blue is always a fun place to visit. We always come here after eating at Root. The two just seem to go hand-in-hand, so its great that they are right by each other. Now, Im not really one for little mystical gifts/tchotchke, but I really find this place fun. First time I went in was with a friend who loved it, so after having lunch with her at Root, we went in. I really didnt think I would buy anything, but left with some rocks and Amber Patchouli oil :) It was really fun looking around, and they have a lot of interesting things. Great place to browse with a friend. And it smells really good in there too.

Not from the area, but always stop in when Im in town to get incense as the quality is great here. However, this last time, one of the employees was a bit rude. It felt like I was being watched and they wanted to get me and my family out of the store. And probably just to be cute, the employee had to correct us on how many bags we used. Even though their sign says one bag per 10 incense. Experience sucked. Js.

I googled them & it says they close at 7pm so I got there at 5:50pm & picked out my items. I was just told by an employee they were closing & it was 5:59pm. I called them twice as soon as I left, knowing there were at least 2 employees inside & they didnt even answer the phone when I called. Nice. If you want people to shop local, you let them shop. Or at least nicely mention theyll be closing shortly & give me a few minutes to make a purchase. I couldnt imagine turning a store guest down when theyre trying to give you money. I came here to buy bday presents, a thank you gift & a necklace for myself but had to leave with nothing. I even had $150 worth of items picked out, which was almost everything. They did tell me to come back tomorrow.. which I guess will be a better day for them to accept my money? I specifically drove out of my way to buy locally. Wont happen again. Customer service & kindness go a long way & it doesnt take much to leave a bad enough impression for a loyal customer to never return.

This store was one of my all time favorites. I absolutely loved coming here to look at all of the unique clothing pieces and trinkets. However, Ive noticed in the past year the staff has become so unbearably paranoid about shoplifting that they literally follow people around their store and watch your every move. It makes for a really anxiety-filled shopping experience and makes it tough to enjoy yourself while looking around and you just want to leave ASAP. I understand theyve had issues with shoplifters as of late, but if its that much of an issue then install security cameras?

I looooove this store! I get my incense, essential oils, my cristals, stones and everything to clear my home of negative energy. I have also purchased my stone bracelets from them and they are affordable and gorgeous. Cant live without them.

They always have such cute items to gifts. I just wish they carried bigger sizes. Im and XL and Id love to buy their clothes.

A couple of years ago I had Michael reset my mother’s engagement ring. It turned out beautifully. Since then I had been looking for a wedding band that would complement it. I was unsuccessful. I thought again of Michael and went in and discussed it. Needless to say, I picked it up today and it is perfect. I am so pleased. Thank you, Michael I couldn’t be happier with it.

Lion and Blue reminds me of one of those hippie joints in the 70s,back home(SanFrancisco),except that everything is LEGAL!!. Such a great variety of unique and handmade STUFF that you can find there.Jewelry,clothing,knick-knacks,and some hard to find STUFF!. Ive been going there for years,and it seems to me that they dont want you to leave unless you are happy.The staff is very helpful and accommodating,yet friendly and professional also!!. 5 Stars is not enough for this gem that we are so fortunate to have right here in Lakewood.
