Very disappointed in the Lakewood rite aid. Waited an hour for my covid test in the drive thru even though I had a scheduled appointment. Their second lane is closed even though when you call and ask they say its open. I get through the test and am rushed when I say I still have the swab in my hand  the technician said pull forward so I figure I need to go inside to get the situation fixed. I go inside to see what needs to be done and the pharmacist Andy is rude from the start saying I need to leave the store  and I cant be inside since Im getting a covid test and need to go to the drive thru. Which I respond to him that his pharmacy tech that I was dealing with already outside in the drivethru referred me to come inside to fix the situation. He again rudely insisted I leave and said I just had to wait my turn again because covid tests must be done in the drive thru to not spread covid. So I went outside and he then refused to fix the situation because I was not in my car. There was another long line at this point and just 5 cars waiting in line took almost an hour. I told him about the long wait I already went through and he said he was throwing away my test. When I asked to speak to the manager he said he was the manager. I asked for the GM and he said this store didnt have one. I talked to the lady up front who also said she was one of the managers but not above him but she didnt understand why he was being so rude and not helping to fix the mistake like a manager should.  She gave me a number to call so I will follow up but just save your self the hassle and go somewhere else! Free same day testing is available at the old emissions testing place near 112th Street going towards parkland. They were faster and way more courteous!

I love this location, I have all my scripts filled here and as a cancer survivor I have to maintain my medicine schedules. The staffs dedication to customer satisfaction is a big draw for me. The drive through can be a bit of a wait but honestly, being right on Bridge port way will do that. Also from what I understand there is a large shortage of pharmacy Techs and Pharmacists, so the fact that they have been so quick (after I get to the window) these last few months at prepping and filling my medicines.They also have lots of goods and some cool organic and alternative medicine things. Lots of cosmetics of varying quality as well, but a few solid brands that will get you by if you dont want to make another stop on the way home from work!Thank you SEAN for all your help and speedy service

Horrible customer service at the main cashier. The woman was rude and had an attitude problem. She also does not know how it works for expensive items that are in the back and it just so happens that she was the only cashier on Halloween. I ended up leaving without purchasing anything.

Good for getting flu shots!!! Lots of other things that normal rute aids will have. Location is a bit difficult to get due to single entrances and exits. Other than that everything is decent at this location. Staff is decent, pharmacists are very polite and knowledge.

I transferred my meds to this rite aid, they refilled all but 1, once I noticed that I didnt have the one med, I called the store first time gave up after being on hold 30 minutes, called the next day to find my insurance wouldnt pay for it, that something I should have been told when I picked them up! Very poor customer serviceUpdated on 10/4/2021I love how they respond with an inactive email address with a link supposedly to a new email address

This is by Rite Aid far the worst for wait times. It doesnt matter when, you always sit in line for a minimum of 15 minutes. Today was over the top, people were just driving off. After 25 minutes I drove off. Came back an hour later and still another long wait. Thank you Rite Aid you have inspired me while waiting in line for the umpteenth time this year to use that wait time to transfer my prescriptions to Walgreens.🤬

I rarely visit pharmacies but this time I needed to get a Covid test. They were kind and took the time to explain the process to register on their website and schedule an appointment. Even though the testing itself is not enjoyable, they made my whole experience wonderful. Thank you!

This pharmacy is incredibly mismanaged. They are often out of medications and force us to call around for them.Tonight was the worst. After my pharmacy purchase I earned a $5 off coupon so I grabbed a few things a d headed to the front. After 10 minutes of waiting with No Sales Associates to be seen, I called the pharmacy to tell them nearly 10 of us were waiting at the front but no sales associates were around. Another 5 minutes later a lady came up and helped me at one register and another guy at the register next to me only to jump back forth 4 or 5 times making that process take even longer and she gave no reason for the long wait nor apology. I wasnt looking for blood, but a quick Im sorry for your wait. would have gone a long way.Im not angry about this last visit it just pushed me into finally writing a review about this incredibly mismanaged pharmacy. For years its been bad. My husband and I have been patronizing this RiteAid for over a decade and its getting close to bad enough for us to have our meds switched to some place, any place else.

I don’t normally write reviews but I am so frustrated. One, I was told they needed to fax my doctor for a refill, and I never heard back from them, I had to call back and ask about it, only to be told oh yeah it’s been ready for a while. Then when I went to pick it up, it was way more than an hour long wait. I’m still here waiting, and it’s been an hour and fifteen minutes. I’m pregnant, with a toddler in the car, who is now crying. This is not the first time I’ve had an hour plus wait either. This is completely unacceptable.

I would give this place minus 10 (-10). Thats NEGATIVE 10 if I could. Avoid this place. For 2 days I have waited patiently for them to text me that my prescription is ready for pickup. Not one text. So I call. I waited EXACTLY 1 HOUR 58 MINUTES and 23 seconds. Noone came to the phone and I now can sing Alicia Keys, via wait time music, word for word. After waiting on hold for 1hr 58 min and 23 seconds...they hung up. So I do the insane thing and call back. Yes I am insane to think I would get something different. I call back to speak to the front counter this time. Told him my issue and he says hold on, let me switch you to pharmacy. As I write this review, I am on hold a second time for over 15 minutes. Look... I get there is busy. I dont get is poor customer service and holding prescriptions hostage for 2 days. It will now be 3 days because they close soon. I will be switching my preferred pharmacy after this and I hope to warn others about this substandard pharmacy.

Jessica was the cashier on duty in the pharmacy and she was extremely disrespectful and rude. I am not sure if she is just heinously incompetent or simply has no idea what customer service looks like. I would be frankly EMBARESSED by her behavior.I was told my perscriptions would be ready in 1 hr. I show up later to be told that they arent ready, as promised. Further requesting a manager, Jessica COULD HAVE informed me the manager was busy, but chose not only to have an attitude and treat me as if I had the AUDACITY to bother her, but decided to wait 12 minutes before letting me know the manager was currently busy.Stick to the values you post on your damn sign.

A year ago I would have given them 5 stars. The last two times I have been in the service is incredibly slow. I called in a prescription at 7:15 AM, an antibiotic. At 4:30, after waiting 30 minutes I was told it would be a half hour wait time, that they were behind on their orders. Never had to wait this long before.

Came In late the other night to get cough medicine for my baby. I ended up forgetting my ID at home so I had to go back home and get it. Normally i would be annoyed with having to drive all the way home for an ID to get my baby cough medicine but the guy who checked me out at the register (Jacob) was really polite and friendly, and had the best customer service Ive ever encountered. If Id have been working in his spot if normally let someone slide with something like getting a baby cough medicine, but he was very polite in letting me know he couldnt sell the medicine without a valid ID. His great attitude really made me see the positive that he was doing his job correctly by not being able to sell to me without my ID. I went home and got it, but just his great service made me not even upset that I had to go home to get my ID but happy that he was up late too but with an awesome attitude. Thank you Rite Aid for the great customer service !

I first was called that my pharmacy order was ready as I was a customer transfer from the DuPont Health Mart to this Rite Aid location in Lakewood. I went to go pick up my order, and the guy with metal studs all over his face first told me to wait behind an open cash register, but I saw he was still helping another pharmacy customer next to the open register so I waited behind the sign to protect her privacy. He then yelled for me to wait directly at the other open register, and I then proceeded to hear the other ladies entire Pharmacy transaction and broke HIPAA privacy rules because of him. He then finished and asked for my information and I told him I was picking up my new pharmacy order for a new Glucose meter, test strips, and hand braces for carpel tunnel. He proceeded to chuckle, then said there was a problem with my order. But if I had a seat he would call me when he sorted it out. So I sat for 30 minutes waiting with no further word from him. I finally asked another person about my order and he then proceeded to tell me that my glucose meter was not in stock but the test strips were. Also, that my hand braces were a medical device and not a medication and needed a separate form filled out when I had dropped off my prescriptions initially the day before. Further the initial worker who took my information and looked up my order could have told me this at first rather than having me sit and waste my time. They knew full well my items were either not in-stock or needed additional paperwork, and yet they literally chucked at me and proceeded to waste my time! The other co-worker tried to make an excuse but when pressed he could not give me an actual answer as to why I was not told this when I first tried to get my order. He then went to go talk to a pharmacist who told him that it was not entirely true about my wrist braces, and he could go and grab them off the self for me to fulfill my prescription and assist with the paperwork asap. The guy who helped me didnt bother to do this after I HEARD the entire conversation! I then proceeded to tell everyone that I refused to be a customer of Rite Aid, bought the test strips (with no glucose meter...thanks!), and then proceeded to immediately go to CVS who had everything IN STOCK and ready within the hour of my transfer. If you are a former customer of DuPont Health Mart, then BE WARNED! Transfer your prescriptions as soon as possible or else you will be laughed at and treated like total trash by this location. The Pharmacy staff was terrible, inconsiderate, and downright MEAN in how they treated me. I will NEVER step foot in a Rite Aid ever again. Period!

Horrible customer service. It doesn’t seem like anyone there knows what’s going on. They obviously do not communicate between themselves. They said it would be a 25-30 min wait. A hour and 45 min later and they just told me that one of the prescription wasn’t done because the other guy didn’t tell him what to do with it. I will Not be coming back to this pharmacy Ever ! And they messed up my prescription they said I would get 100ml and only gave me 70ml. Horrible place !!

When you tell me it will be an hour, dont tell me youve been busy and it will take longer. I dont care how busy you are. If I am waiting on-site I expect my prescription to be filled in a priority manner. I am switching my scripts to another pharmacy. Oh and Rite Aid, dont bother commenting that you care about my experience because if you did, this wouldnt be an ongoing problem. You have had years upon years to fix this store and if anything its worse.

This place needs management intervention and possibly their franchise revoked.You can order ahead for a scheduled time your order will be filled and not show up until the next day and that prescription is still not filled. When you do show up, they say that your order will be ready in 20 minutes and usually takes an hour or more. While you wait, you will probably need to check in with them periodically because you cannot count on them to call your name when your prescription is ready. I have never made it out of there in less than an hour and I shudder to think how much longer it would be if I didnt call in ahead.The Rite Aid about 2 miles away is great and will call you when your prescription is ready. I wish my insurance was still taken there.

Every time I go to have my prescriptions filled I ask for same day fill. One hour later I always get a phone call saying my scripts have been filled and are ready to be picked up. So I go in another hour later and the ppl at the counter just look at me like oh these aren’t done yet it’s going to be about a half hour like they never started them to begin with.? How inconvenient, then the guy handing me my prescriptions today had like 40 piercings all over his face. Like is that even sanitary especially in a medical atmosphere like a pharmacy? So odd.

Management is terrible! Had to have a very important prescription that was faxed to this pharmacy in the am. No one knew who picked up the fax and nothing was done about it. My son went later in afternoon (about 7 hrs later) to pick up prescription...found out they didnt have it in store and would be in the next day....we were NEVER notified of this. Michael at front desk didnt know what was going on and offered no help whatsoever...Since this is the ONLY pharmacy that is close for us in the Kaiser network...Im so disgusted.

I wish my wait time was 15 mins on average I have to wait for 45mins and Im only there to pick up my prescriptions. The most I had to wait was almost two hours. Not only that I dont kno why but Ive never bought anything from there or stole anything from there but its really embarrassing when I walk inside with my backpack (I carry my bag everywhere I go) and I start beeping off when Im only there for my prescriptions. I hate the fact that the employees dont remember me when Im there every 3 to 4 days. Besides the pharmacists being slow the people who wear the blue shirts behind the counter are very nice and very easy to talk to. There the only ones who make me feel welcomed.

What is up with this location???? My prescription for my child was sent over at 10am, i go at 11:30, Im told another half hour. I come back at 2, still not ready another half hour. For Claritin and nasal saline?? Serious?? Then at 4:45 i go back, sit in drive thru for 40 minutes behind 4 cars. To gind out theyre out of the nasal spray so i have to come back again tomorrow??? What a joke! What time tomorrow? *Mumbling a foot away from the speaker.. Ummm. Im really not sure... Ummm Never got an answer on that! They need me to fill out an address form! For what? U dont need my address for my childs allergy meds. I tell the guy this. Another 10 minutes before I get the medicine. With a fuel light on, a 2 year old and 1 year old screaming in my car! If that 500 lb guy working the window moved with any sense of urgency he wouldnt be that large! Ive had surgery on my ankle and cant carry 2 kids in the store! Your carts arent even big enough for a baby carrier! This location is rediculous every time i come here! Get a manager who can properly manage a store and train employees better and the reviews wouldnt be so bad. An employee is only as good as their training!

They tell you 30 min i wait an hour to go back just to be told another 5 minutes so i wait 10 minutes go back to be told another 15 minutes are you freaking kidding me Ive been waiting since 445 i do have a family to get home to i do have a job to get to while everyones in the pharmacy laughing playing around having a good ol time get it together... This pharmacy has problems. It doesnt matter if you go inside or to the drive through to pick up prescriptions you will ALWAYS have a long wait time. I waited in the drive through for 15 minutes yesterday with only 2 cars in front of me. I have waited at the I side register for 15 to 20 minutes before. The man with the facial piercings gives the best customer service but he is over worked having to work the register at the drive through and the front counter. I have spoken with the district manager in several occasions and he tells me that they are working to improve and has said so for over a year with little result. This pharmacy is always short staffed and the employees are over worked, I have even had a couple mistakes made because of it. I recommend people go to a different pharmacy since Riteaide has not demonstrated a good faith effort to solve their customer service on the corporate level. The Employees are so over worked perhaps we should give them a break and everyone take their business elseware. Maybe corporate will take the hint and finally do something different.

Im so upset right now. Filling my prescription, the tech said my medication was not covered, gave me no explanation and failed to mention that the medication was OTC, mind you, it was at a cost of $87. I was in a lot of pain due to an ear infection so I bought it. Called my insurance company for further explanation and they informed me that it is an over the counter drug that does not require a prescription although a similar drug was available with a prescription for only $15. I would have had to have my doctor change the prescription. Why pharmacist did not know this and I paid almost $90 for medication when I had other options is really infuriating. Dont just tell me you dont know why, this is your job you deal with medication all day love you have to have some idea as to why. I will be going back to the pharmacy with the medication that I bought. And if I dont get the result that Im happy with I will be calling my credit card company because I feel deceived.

This pharmacy has a ton of issues. Never enough employees for the volume of people who go there. Also, I received a text saying my medicine was out of stock and needed to be ordered. Ok....reasonable. Over a week later I get the same text. I call and see why they are sending me the text twice. The gentleman on the phone stated they sent it last time but when they didnt receive it, they just tried to order again. Come to find out, its not even available for them. The issue is, there were other options, and NO ONE decided to call me and say that OVER A WEEK AGO!!!! Nor did they even think it were appropriate to see if they could get it somewhere else. This is a medication I have been getting from them for years. They said I had other options like going to a different pharmacy to pick it up if they have it in stock. I will get this at another pharmacy this time and WILL NOT BE CONTINUING MY BUSINESS WITH THEM. PERIOD. This is NOT the first time this has happened. This is peoples lives they are dealing with. What if this were a heart medication or something life threatening? We dont take medication because we dont need it!!!!

I really dont know why Ive had such a consistent problem with this place, but after 2-3 years of problems with getting rx filled--Im done. They slip current, yet UNREQUESTED meds into the bag along with what I ordered (I have Medicaid, you figure it out). I have to make at least two trips EVERY TIME because of some issue regarding my insurance card or...somwthing, always something! Of course they never apologize...I am neither exaggerating, nor am I vindictive. My recommendation is that you avoid this pharmacy!

Wish you could give negative stars. My poor mother goes here quite often, and the drive through is never opened. She can hardly walk due to a bad back, and she needs her meds, so is forced out of her car to go in and wait. Sometimes the wait is over 4 hours long. It’s ridiculous! Horrible service. Only Rashawn seems to know what hes doing. Got 2 phone calls yesterday from automated line my RXs were ready, went to pick them up today, I was only person in line, watched the girl in the drive through window just walking around, so I pushed the button 3 times and then she proceeded to argue with me that they are short handed and I said well while you are arguing with me - give me my prescriptions, and she said they were not ready. This happens multiple times in the past but today was the last straw -- called the pharmacy to find out why -- guy could barely speak English and blamed it on automated system.

The people that work here are very nice but thats the only good thing. Its ALWAYS busy. They mess up scripts by filling old prescription you havent filled in a year. I called my daughters diabetes prescriptions in yesterday and I have been here for an hour now. I waited in line 15 min. Then saw they filled the wrong ones so I had to wait for them to fix it then wait in line again for another 20 min. I will be switching ALL mine and my daughters prescriptions to CVS. I have never seen a worse rite aid pharmacy. Its the same everytime I come here.

The store is fine. Do not go to the Urgentcare clinic here. The Nurse Practitioner on duty prescribed antibiotics to my gf a month ago for a sinus infection, it never went away so yesterday she went back to a different doctor who said that was because he prescribed antibiotics for a urinary tract infection.Then, our two year old daughter had swollen eyes and lots of eye boogers. We thought it was allergies or something so we took her there a week ago. Same guy said that thats all it was so we got kids allergy stuff and went about our business. But it got worse, so she went to the doctor yesterday too. The doctor took one look at her for less than 60 seconds and said she had an ear and a sinus infection. 24 hours after going on antibiotics shes almost all better.No issue with the store or the pharmacy but DO NOT go to the clinic inside this store.

Been with this place for years, even when I moved to another city. Great store, friendly pharmacy staff, but Ill echo the other reviews and say avoid the built-in clinic because it is run by Multicare and Ive had terrible experience with Multicare in the past, and boycotted since 03. Judging by these recent reviews, they havent changed any (Multicare). The Rite Aid store is great tho.

The drive thru is continually closed and tonight they told me my wait inside would be 20 minutes and I had my 2 year old and I have been waiting 45 minutes and now deciding to leave...of course the drive thru was closed tonight as well. Contrary to that first review, I had a good experience with the clinic. No wait time, and cheaper than the same companys clinic across the street and NO WAIT. I had a sore throat with white spots on the back of my mouth. The practitioner took a sample for strep which came out negative but gave me a Rx for antibiotics to make sure it was in fact viral and not bacterial infection. Will update later.

I’d give negative stars if I could. I’ve been getting phone many calls from this store for many months regarding a pickup order. I’ve never shopped here, nor live near here, therefore I’ve never placed an order with this store. How unpleasant my husband came in to ask about the test of the cobi and they said yes. K x the drive thru we made the line and when we arrived they asked us for identification and looked at us and said the woman ho. They do not have to make an appointment online ... I do not want to think that because we are Mexicans every day people are dying x the definitive cobi I do not recommend this pharmacy
