We came in here for pipes, of which they had a huge and beautiful selection. Everything from really high-end pipes in the $150 range, to a legit corn cob pipe for like $14. And a nice selection of pipe tobaccos. The gentleman who helped us was very knowledgeable and helpful. It looked like they had a generous collection of cigars too of course, though we didnt really peruse those.They also had plenty of space to hang out and smoke a pipe or cigar.

Best place around. Everything from pipe tobacco to cigarillos. The clerk there is always super helpful and gives great recommendations. They have a fresh cigar selection every week in their humidor, and great deals on portable humidors, lighters, and pipes. I will continue to call this my smoking home as its the classiest joint around. Lets keep it that way.

Large humidor with smoking lounge. The widest selection of the humidors I’ve visited in the Lakewood/Golden area. Good assortment of accessories such as lighters, cutters, ashtrays, pipes and pipe supplies. People were friendly both times I went in. A good humidor with all you can really hope for. Similar to Jerri’s in downtown Denver.

Great selection of cigars. I have seen some Opus X here that I have not seen in a shop in a long time. Lounge is nice with 2 high tops, 6 leather chairs, and a low tip table. They sell everything from cigars, pipes, tobacco, and cigar products to other gentlemen items like knives and canes.Friendly employees and I was greeted when I came in.Lounge is bright and clean.

A Lakewood staple!!! Ive seen this store since I was a child going to get tennis shoes with my grandparents at Villa Italian mall. With an amazing variety of pipes and loosenleaf tobacco they have the best little humidor in Lakewood.Super friendly staff that dont hover over you they are quick to help and answer any questions you might have.A+ for fantastic service and a brilliant selection.

This is a very good place to go if youre interested in cigars. I was new to cigars my first couple times and they helped recommend me to some really good stuff for beginners. Everyone there is very friendly and I can definitely recommend this place.

I visited this place a few times and am new to the establishment. Almost immediately, I was welcomed and helped by some really wonderful, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. The walk in humidor has a superb selection with great prices.I was made to feel so comfortable that I stayed and enjoyed the really cool smoking lounge and met some of the nicest people in a long time. I have been back since and will continue to enjoy all the great aspects this business offers. I look forward to my next visit!

Walked in Looking for my Fathers Day Enejo fix, they were down to one - in the safe. The tobaconist then turned me on to the Afuente DonCarlos to round out my purchase. Bought 6 Robusto and 6 Presidente. Amazing. I will continue to smoke Enejos when available but the Don Carlos are really good cigars with a beautiful burn, rich inhale, deep smokey exhale and unique flavor that stays with you as the cigar smolders during your throw or shot. Next time your in the store ask about the Don Carlos Presidente and pour yourself a Jameson or a Single Malt and enjoy.

Its the best. I love the selection. And the company there is second to none. They were so generous with their party. Its one of the last bastions for tobacco enthusiasts on the west side. Thanks, guys, for all the good company and tasty, aromatic tobacco.

Decent selection of tinned pipe tobbaco, nice selection of bulk with a few blended in house, lots of beautiful pipes and accessories. Humidor seemed to be well stocked too but I didnt get a good look. Lounge looked comfy too wish I had had time to stop and have a pipe. Young man working was very helpful too. Very nice shop, worth the visit.

My favorite cigar lounge in town

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by an older gentleman who actually shook my hand. No one does that anymore. But it made me feel very welcome. He then helped me pick out some very good pipe tobacco (big selection) that wasnt too expensive. He also threw in a little lighter for free with my purchase. The store itself looks new inside, upscale in a way. Also one of the last places you can smoke in Lakewood.

Went looking for a humidor and they had a great selection. Usually cigar shops only carry a small selection. I didnt want to shop on line for one, buying sight unseen. Pictures are not always accurate. I purchased a extra large at a very reasonable price.

After, reading the reviews and my conversation with the manager. Heres the deal. If they come into the humidor to help you they are there to help. They arent accusing you of theft. Look up, they have cameras and lots of them. And if they ask for your ID, its to guarantee that the name on the card is the same as the ID. Its for your protection as well as theirs. Great staff.

They have a great selection of tobacco. Good pipes, good pipe tobacco, cigars, smoking and lounge accessories. Pipes for as cheap as 30, or as expensive at 500+, same with cigars. Tobacco can be pretty inexpensive (but with good flavor) I even bought a walking cane, for when I sprained my ankle. The owner cut it to my size. The owner is very knowledgeable. The female staff member is very knowledgeable and nice too. However the male owner is a pretty big jerk.

Youll meet some pretty cool people all while enjoying some fine tobacco. They are also starting up a club soon for those whom are passionate! This place has been around for decades and it never ceases to impress with customer service and selection of cigars. Even though the the amount of professionalism is always top notch.

I visited the cigar shop today after several years and was reminded why. I recall the owner being a colorful character, but didnt have the same negative experience as many others with him. However the staff seems to demonstrate the very qualities their boss has shown to others. I once purchased a torch lighter from them years ago. It immediately malfunctioned, so I took it back. The clerk at the time adjusted it for air pressure, but to no avail. It took extensive negotiating and persuasion to get him to exchange it. It left a bad taste in my mouth. Today I finally returned out of necessity, and as others mentioned before me, I was immediately followed into the humidor, and the clerk tried to strike up a conversation to cover what I assume was his suspicions of having a customer in the humidor alone. When I answered his questions proving I was a legitimate cigar enthusiast, he then asked me for my identification for the purpose of confirming my (a nearly 40 year old mans) age. He left for a moment, only to return two minutes later asking if I was lost as I had been in the humidor for quite some time. At check out, I offered him my credit card only to have him ask for identification again. I left with a sense of unease from the thought that I was essentially being silently accused of something.Denver has many options for serious tobacco smokers such as Edwards Pipe and Tobacco, Cigars on Sixth, heck even Tewksberry downtown will have my business before these guys.

First time visit here and I must say this is a go to location. Staff was very friendly and provided a great atmosphere. I live all the way down in the springs and plan to make at least one trip here a month.

I always shop at local stores, and stay away from the ugly corporate conglomerates, even though tobacco is basically corporate itself, this store sells the type of loose leaf tobacco I am looking for. This store is laid back, and easy going, the way a tobacco store should be. The staff are efficient, knowledgeable, and very friendly.

I kept reading that the owner was rude, luckily I havent had to deal with that. I have spent easily 500$ there in the last 4 months and am in love with it another good shop is off of 6th called Edwards and many employees there even like the guy over at The Tobacco leaf. I am sorry for any inconvenience people had going to this shop but its one of my favorite.

Today was my second visit to this shop. The employee was a young guy sitting in the smoking lounge with other men. He didnt seem to have time for me. I intended to buy today but when I asked to look at a pipe I was asked if I was just looking or going to buy. He never did actually let me handle a pipe...as he ran off to the smoking lounge. The last time I was in this shop, about 5 years ago, the female employee was just as rude. I also notice that the response to negative reviews is defensive. For many years I was a loyal customer of Edwards Tobacco in Ft. Collins. I will not become a loyal tobacco leaf customer.

I read a comment about the owner being abrasive and condescending. John is John and we accept him for who he is so get over it! The shop has a good selection, knowledgeable employees, and a good place to hang out.

Its a great place. Added new lounge chairs and have great people working there. To everyone who says the owner is condescending and rude, he is very much so. Everyone else however is awesome. I go there quite a bit and I have honestly only ran into the owner once in the past 8 months or so. When hes not around, the store is much more enjoyable.

Polite staff, good stock on cigars and pipes, but a bit pricey. They also have knives and even some canes if youre looking for good quality products not neccessarily to do with cigars.

Terrible experience. Looks like they dont like new customers. Walked in with kids to buy some pipe tobacco. Kids arent allowed. Ok. Then the store attendant, which may not be 18 years old, who was sitting down in a lounge chair with the customers, proceeded to ID me, which is utterly offensive. I never get IDd for alcohol at bars. The customers started arguing with me, and the store employee chimed in with them, so it seemed like a good-ole-boys club, if you arent known you arent welcome. The law may state that there is a $500 fine for selling to under 18, but when there is a 0% chance of the customer being under, either the employee is too stupid to understand that concept, or the ownership is so risk averse that theyd rather offend customers than train their people to use common sense. Either way, they lost my business forever, congratulations.
