I wanted to experiment with cigars on my vacation. I went in not knowing anything and was kindly greeted. The salesman was nice, but not patronizing. He asked a couple questions and grabbed some recommendations. He also showed me the best way to use the cigar cutter. I was in and out in ten minutes.I couldnt be more pleased with the experience and will be a repeat customer!

Easily 5/5. Best shop on the West side hands down. I couldnt believe how nice, clean and just overall awesome the inside of this place is. Plenty of room for lounging. An abundance of different types of cigars that will match anyones style or taste. I left with about 10 or 12 different sticks and cant wait to try them all. I didnt get the workers name but he was very knowledgeable and helped me through my questions.

Drew was nice, for someone (like me) who is just getting into cigars he set me with a good range of the more popular cigars and some he smokes himself. Also the lounge area is amazing!

I worked with Bob today in the store. It was my first time in and I am a total NOOB to cigars. He was happy to take me into the impressive humidor and give me a crash course in cigars, types and flavors, which I really appreciated! Then I stayed in to enjoy the lounge and a smoke while I worked. The lounge space is INCREDIBLE in many ways...this might be my westside base of operations from now on!! I giving this place three stars. While I did like the layout, selection, and atmosphere, the prices were much higher than other stores of that type. For example, a Cigar that I buy on a daily basis was $4.00 more than other places I have purchased the same product. In addition, the pipe tobacco tins were almost double that of my usual tobacco store. Other than that, I thought the place was very nice and the staff helpful.

I wish I could give 100 stars!!! I stopped in here this morning looking for a gift for my husband. The wonderful experience started with my phone call to make sure they were open. Very friendly on the phone. But it got so much better when I walked in. I had absolutely no clue what to buy and know nothing about cigars. Both of the gentleman were so extremely helpful they didn’t try to take advantage of me for not knowing but instead made sure to fully explain everything to me, origins, flavor profiles, Storage and everything . The didn’t make me feel like a bother instead they seemed very eager to help. I’m very excited to give my husband this wonderful gift. Great customer service is hard to find THANK YOU SO MUCH........And to the gentleman who left a review saying the owner was rude please consider going back you never know the kind of day he might have been having. Or maybe it was wrongly perceived

Been coming here for years. This place would be an easy five stars (even during covid), except that the owner has had the tendency to be exceptionally rude and standoffish as of late — to the point where I’d honestly rather buy online, which is a shame. Rest of the crew there are all relaxed, personable, and always happy to recommend some sticks.

This store has a great selection, nice lounge with many comfortable leather seating options. Salespeople are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The only problem is that they close right at 10 and if youre in the middle of a cigar they throw you out anyway. Most places stay open later to accommodate their customers.

Lakewoods only true cigar shop and the best lounge in the area. With a BYOB license and a beer and liquor store next door, this is the place to be during the winter months.

My first visit, the employees helped me and my friend pick out cigars based on my previous favorites and preferred flavors and they gave us great selections. Comfy sitting areas name for a laid back visit. Very enjoyable.

Have been in dozens of cigar lounges, and this one ranks at the top. Excellent and knowledgeable Kevin & Pat KNOW what they are talking about. (Isn’t that different!). Convenient, spacious, and clean with excellent ventilation. The selection was fabulous for a 60 ring guy like myself. I had to put my hands in my pockets because pricing was more than fair. If in the Cleveland area, you have to check this one out.

Denied and discriminated against due to some Covid mandate. Clerk would not even speak to me outside of building and social distancing, will be getting my smokes at Cigar Cigar or online.

Byob/ liquor, amazing walk in humidor, great selection, friendly staff. Big screen TVs. No cover charge. Plenty of comfortable seating. Food is welcome as well. Insomnia cookies next door makes for a great treat and theres a liquor store across the street. Ive only been once, recently, and i cant wait to go back !

Went into this lovely cigar shop to purchase a gift card for a Christmas gift, and they put the card inside a nice wooden cigar box with a complimentary box of matches and topped the box off with a big red bow. I was so impressed with the attention to detail, they didnt have to box it up so nicely but they did and it looked so great. Great customer service, they went above and beyond and I really appreciated it.

Decent selection and prices but customer service sucks how they have repeat customers is beyond me. Asked if i wanted my cigar punched, punched it horribly and found out halfway though there wad a soft spot from him squeezing it so hard. Also try acting like you care about the customer itd help.

Robust & Briar is an excellent cigar and pipe smoking lounge with a great selection and fair prices. Theres a large walk-in humidor and comfortable seating in the lounge area. Patrick is always friendly and helpful when you ask him any questions. He has a deep knowledge of the cigar industry as well. If you are in the area and you a cigar or pipe lover you need to stop in and check this place out.

I consider this the best cigar shop on the Westside of Cleveland and the most tastefully assembled cigar shop Ive ever been to and I travel for work and visit shops all over the country.Patrick, the owner, pays a great deal of attention to detail and it shows throughout his store. He knows pipes, cigars and isnt afraid to share his knowledge. He is also a great salesman. Went in yesterday to get my dad a Father’s Day gift. I’m not a cigar smoker and felt a little uneasy before walking in. Staff was awesome and helped me select an awesome gift for my dad.I was so impressed with the place that of the 8 cigars I bought for my dad he will only be getting 8. I decided to smoke one and really enjoyed it. Will certainly be going back for myself soon

I stopped by this place today in search of some cigars for a gift. I have no knowledge on the subject and chose Robusto & Briar based on the other reviews. The employee was kind enough to guide me in the right direction as to what I needed for a gift. I highly recommend the place based off of the atmosphere as well as the kindness and knowledge of the staff. They are in a nice location as well.

Words are insufficient to describe the elegance, comfort and beauty of this shop and lounge. The humidor is spacious, well maintained and continuously stocked with the most popular cigars. Prices are very competitive for the region and the proprietors knowledge of fine tobacco is abundant. The staff is very responsive and knowledgeable and can take care of the seasoned vet or the novice newly introduced to fine tobacco products. Driving through Cleveland and google searched briar pipe and this wonderful place popped up. I told them what type of pipe tobacco I enjoy(flake) and to my surprise he pulls out 3 varieties that he would suggest. Wow !what a great place usually lucky to find any at all. Even bought a new Rossi pipe . Had no intention of doing that. Great selection of pipes and tobacco. Am sure I will be swinging in there any time I get within an hour of this gem.

Planning on heading out there again this evening - this spot is great. I highly recommend Robusto & Briar to anyone planning a guys night out to pop a nice bottle and smoke some cigars. This shop has good selection, a very large humidor, reasonable pricing, and a BYOB policy. Match that with their friendly and knowledgeable staff along with a well furnished and well ventilated space... need I say more? A must visit location for tobacco aficionados.

First off, somebody said this was Lakewoods only true cigar shop and that it has the best lounge in the area. Then they rated it a 4 stars. Thats rediculous. This place deserves more than 4 or even 5 stars! Best cigar selection I have ever seen...and Ive lived in many cities across the US. They know their stuff. Also best lounge I have ever seen. Very helpful, I went here to get my dad a cigar for a birthday present, but I was low on money, and they helped me find something he would like, while still staying within my budget. However, they are very expensive compared to online cigar shops

Very friendly staff...very willing to talk cigars & share their knowledge...great selection of products available in a comfortable setting!Not going to change my overall opinion, but today, November 2, 2017, I went in to see about replacing a cigar I had an issue with from my purchase yesterday & I finally got another cigar but after I was told no refunds or replacements originally. I left angrily, I must admit, then came back to reason with the owner. He said as with all things, buyer beware. Gave me the phrase in Latin. I told him as a business that cant fly. A customer should recieve a satisfying product for their money spent. I can see if I still tried to smoke the cigar anyways, then bring it back. He showed me the way to cut a cigar & the way he cut it was identical to my cut. Anyways, I got my replacement cigar and all is good. I just felt the ppl should know that if you have issues, you may be out the money you spent!

My first time in robusto drove 25 mins to get there and worth every minute it took to get there.. started with the two fine gentelman at the bar. Then with the satisfaction of smoking a great cigar that was fairly priced from their huge humidor. Too the leather seating watching the Cavs on a huge screen listening to the others sharing conversation about their day. I could have sat in a different room if I wanted quite. Truly a great place. This cigar store and lounge is without a doubt the BEST In the CLE! The tobacco experts truly know their stuff! Every time I walk in one of the experts has something new for me to try all while taking the time to remember my preferences and tastes. Their walk in humidor is the best stocked in all of cleveland. The lounge is beautiful! This lounge is where the brand Restoration Hardware meets classy tasteful sports lounge. Large clean leather sofas, love seats, arm chairs and recliners. Epic LARGE screen HD TV’s with all the sports channels and sop operas you could ever want to watch all encased in a sophisticate atmosphere. This customers are friendly and every trip is time and money very happily spent. For the person without a dedicated “cave” at home, this is one hell of a substitute!! If there is room for improvement it would be a way to steam content from media devices onto the tv’s and offer chilled water/ soda.
