***PLEASE READ*** Only 1 star because there isnt anything lowerMy mistake. I should have read the reviews on this company. VERY disappointing. Our doors are used for individuals in wheelchairs and it is critical these doors operate. The girl that answers the phone is rude and very condescending, we were definitely NOT a priority. On 5/14/21 I was told again that we were not priority and the tech would not be out until 5/17/21. Our parts were in within a week (that was 3 weeks ago) and they sent the tech to a bigger job so we had to wait. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB.
We recently had a great experience with AMPM Door Service. I called about a broken pivot pin on my front door, they were out the same day. The repair wasnt cheap, but the guys did nice work and were super friendly. I would definitely use them again.
Paid $400 for a broken door opener. Company said they would have management call and they would take care of it. They didn’t and don’t stand by their work. Their worker wanted me to pay him cash so he could pocket it and wanted me to call him directly for any further services. Don’t waste your money
I am the Assoc.Pastor of the Full Gospel Church Lithia Springs, Ga. Eric was our technician that came and repaired our church door. Very courteous, personalable, and professional. Would recommend this company to others.
Even when trying to schedule a time for a technician to come and give me a quote for my business, we were never treated as a priority. They never returned our calls and we had to call multiple times. I should have taken the hint. Repair was incomplete and they would not take responsibility for it because we did not choose to have optional closers installed. Technician insisted the panic bar and locking mechanism were not working because we ignored his suggestion to install the closers. I told him they should not have been optional if the repair was going to be pointless without their installation as well. Then he argued that its because our doors and door frame are old and also should be replaced. I know the customer is not always right, but maybe you shouldnt take on a job that apparently cannot be successfully completed, especially if youre going to charge over $2,000 for a shoddy repair. It took multiple calls and pestering to get them to come back twice after initial repair just to have functional doors that lock successfully. A week after our 30 day warranty expired and Ive already had to work on these doors to ensure they continue to function. Worst experience with a business to date.
***READ THE REVIEWS FIRST!*** I myself made the mistake of not reading the reviews prior to using their service. I now have over $12,000 in invoices from this company, and the doors they fixed are worse off than they were prior to them servicing... completely non-functional. I called to discuss the shoddy work and spoke with the office manager... well, when she allowed me to speak. She said I dont want to argue... but that is all she did. Now that I have read the reviews, it is clear that my problems with AMPM are not uncommon with this company. From the techs not fixing anything, to the extremely poor customer service all the way up through the office manager, the 2.1 stars they have on Google is generous. I don’t care how desperate you are, DO NOT use this company.
Our front door (commercial building) was rubbing/scraping on the threshold. It was becoming difficult to open. I noticed an AMPM truck working at my neighbors so I asked them to come over to check out my door after they were done. The gentleman, Tony, said he would, and did. Tony explained to me why the door was doing that, gave me a price and a time frame, and I had him fix the door right then and there. He did everything he said in the time he said. He sounded very knowledgeable, he knew the age of my door just by looking at the hardware. Its been about 3 weeks and the door is working great. Im very happy with his work and honesty, Thanks Tony!
If I could give negative stars, I would. Rude employees, tech was out multiple times without ever actually fixing anything, and the amount charged for these supposed services was outrageous. Almost $800 and the door never worked correctly. Tech claimed multiple times that the problem was due to needing a part. I had a different technician come out, he made adjustments and said he couldnt tell what the first tech did and that no parts were needed. So not only rude and terrible customer service, but liars and thieves as well.

Customer service is really bad. Our company paid over 1k to have a part shipped out / door repaired; I keep getting excuses as to where the part is and when the tech will show up. Part arrived extremely late, if it even has arrived. Our door is STILL not fixed. Run around. 👎🏽
What a joke. Go around giving $100 estimates and dont show up to do the work. Must be a nice job. Called to ask for refund because I hired someone else and got blown off.
Good service! Highly responsive, reasonable costs.
My mistake, I didnt look at the reviews before I called them to service my front door, so after 3 days their technician showed up, acting like he is a surgeon doctor he start the work to change the pivot, I got fooled 2 hours labor $175 plus $85 trip charge plus $15 fuel charge, and I dont understand why is $85 fuel surcharge while they charge for trip charge, RIP off, than $146 for one pivot and he change one and broke the other one to charge me extra, $146 for the second one, so I end up paying almost $600 for 2 pivot.I will not recomend this company to anyone.Take your business to a small businesses, do not get fooled with these RIP off company.
Came to fix our door and charged $300. After a week the door screeched and would not stay closed. When letting them know they gave another high estimate to fix what they did not the first time wanting more money. Terrible company.
I had 2 doors repaired at my business in West Palm by Jorge 3 months ago, Fully Repaired and under warranty. Both door closer assemblies (over $1000 in parts and labor with install 2 separate times). Both doors are once again broken. I called on September 20th for a service call and was told a dispatcher would be in touch with me the next day. 1 week later I had not heard back from anyone. When I called again today, the 26th, I was offered a meek apology and no resolution or time for a service call. I went out and found another local company that did more efficient and economical work, AND they showed up within an hour of my calling. The install done by AMPM was terrible and created more problems structurally than existed before they did any work. Absolutely horrible customer service and terrible work product. I would advise anyone to look elsewhere for Door repair needs.
This company continues to place stickers advertising their services on the doors to my business despite my asking them not to four times in the past couple years. I have never used their service and dont want their ads on my property. When I call to complain I am met with hostility and hung up on.
DO NOT USE or EVEN CALL THIS COMPANY! If I could give them zero stars, I would!! Four times they promised to send someone out and it never happened! Each time, they had an excuse. Very unprofessional! I waited four days for service and got NOTHING!
I only got a run around from them, guess they couldnt help! But youd think they would say so!
Great company..highly recommend r f
I don’t recommend for anyone to call this company. They charged too expensive and they did horrible job. I will vote for this company is zero star.
Supper BAD RELATIONSHIPS WITH A CUSTOMER 😭
I left an evening message with their answering service, and received a prompt return call the next morning. The lady that I spoke with told me that she could have a technician out to my business location that day during business hours for a rather urgent door problem. I explained in detail the hours, contact information, payment form, and the troubles we are having with the door.At 4:45 (15 minutes prior to closing), our manager received a call that the technician was 20 minutes away in Tampa. When she said that we close in 15 minutes, the tech apologized and said that she never received our hours and asked whats wrong with the door?. I called to explain that it is impossible for me to expect our employees to stay overtime, and that I had already gone over the issues with the first lady that morning. For a company that specializes in fixing something so important to day to day business activities, it was disappointing that they not only lacked the ability to follow through with their service obligation, but also didnt even have the courtesy to call earlier in the day when I could have had the opportunity to schedule someone who WOULD be able to make it on-site.In fairness, the gentleman on the phone at the end of the day was courteous and offered a discount to rectify the situation. I declined to take them up on their offer.
Too expensive.
